@ Aig agreed, The SAF as fucked up big time with various signings, I think his only great but obvious one in his whole tenure as been Torres, most others have been speculation and trying to make out he is tactical genuis, which he aint.
Last year was close and for people/pundits to have suggested they would win the Epl this year eat yer heart out and humble pie.

redscot – The problem was we were being quoted a fee of 40 million for Torres, which i think was is buy out clause at the time. He then signed a new contract and price came down, but for whatever reason we didn’t go for him again and the rest is history.
It’s the same thing with Aguero, his buy out clause is 55 million Euros, no – one will pay that for the kid.

Stoke game could be tricky for chelsea. pressure does strange things and can affect even the best. if we beat spurs chelsea will be 2 points behind and maybe, just maybe pressure will get the better of them and they will drop points against stoke

for all his quality which is undoubted torres is way too injury prone for a 26 year old. Its almost as if he has been the reason for liverpools condition this season because they look an average side without his magic. Probably the ‘spanish connection’ that resulted him in going to anfield.

It’s not the first time though. I remember cheering on Arsenal like hell when they were playing Chelsea at the Emirates in 2007. They got the draw and that sealed the title for us.
AIG – If you think back to the last world cup, it was us that were being linked with Torres and not Liverpoo. Maybe Athletico were asking us for more money and Fergie wouldn’t pay it.

Right about that but as soon as we were linked and the rumours intensified immediately he signed a new deal which was surprising. I can only think it was because of FSW that he joined Liverpool, no other reason comes to mind. I dont think we didnt have 20 odd million to pay for a highly talented striker especially given that we had sold rudd.

Well AIG, in February or March I am not watching the games of our rivals. When we enter the final phase of the season, then I become a Spurs, Wigan, Liverpool or even City fan, lol.
Spurs won’t be easy. We haven’t had an easy game against them at OT since 2004.
Well i think Chelseas last two performances have showed there feeling the pressure big time, some of them lost it on Saturday and we must keep the pressure on them by the Spurs.
