Angel di Maria is on his way from Madrid to Manchester to complete a medical then sign for United.
Back in November 2009, when still a Benfica player, Di Maria claimed he dreamed of one day getting to play for United.
The following summer he signed for Real Madrid but after four years at the Bernabeu, winning six trophies, he’s now making the move to Manchester.
“Since I was 13 or 14 years old, I’ve been telling my mother and my father that my dream is to play some day for Manchester United,” he said. “And I won’t stop till I get it. When I watch Rooney and all of them on TV, I can’t wait to play there at Old Trafford. When I was a little boy I watched Arsenal games as well, but Manchester United always dazzled me most.”
