    Carlos would not go to the Dippers. If he wants to stay in the NW because his family is settled then they will not enjoy being looked upon as traitors. It is just not done in the same way you just would not leave Boca Juniors and move to River Plate. He must understand this is wholly unacceptable and I believe he has too much self respect to play for the scousers. I still hope we keep him, he loves the club, we love him but we will not be held to ransom and any player is only worth what someone is prepared to pay for them not what Kia Joorabchian says he is worth. An offer to play for the Champions of England, the Champions of Europe and the Champions of the World will be made – whether he takes it or not remains to be seen. I for one hope he does.
