Looked happy enough in training today…

defo dont want Anderson to go.

  2. Corea says:

    dirkcee – spot on.
poor form if you consider what we expected from the player. i absolutely loved the fella when he came but i still believe he has the chance to be a top top player!
And of course Vida. Hate even to discuss the possibility.

  3. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

i have not heard any full on thing that anderson is even awol from training
    i dont get this story

  4. John Ferry says:

Lyon ? The press must be picking the names of random clubs from a hat.

  5. Strik3rr says:

hes been linked with Lyon for about 3 days now in rumors with a swap for lloris being mentioned. but then again he was linked with the club that one of his former mentors is now at from his Gremio days. i just chalked it up to random rumors for now

  6. aig alex is god says:

wasnt SAF asked about this today?. what did he say?. didnt read any such article on what SAF said about Ando leaving the club

  7. Bishopville Red says:

Maybe his imminent departure is why he’s happy.

I’d love for this guy to scratch the “enigma” label. He has so much to offer, but is inconsistent as hell.

  8. kennyyoan says:

fergie like very much ando,i think its a lesson to learn from

  9. five says:

Wouldnt lose sleep if he went to be honest. I like Anderson but if he’s needed to seal a deal for Lloris I’d go for it

And I am not exactly a fan of skipping training even the biggest cunts we have had used to show up to training

  10. Eric The Red says:

Moving on to Vidic, what’s the score with him, he seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet, is he still injured and if so what’s the injury?

  11. Joel says:

Vidic was on the bench against city! Back in action against Arse I would guess…

  12. Shimo says:

Eric the Red – Vidic was on bench on Wed. In today’s press conference SAF was asked if Vidic is fit for Sunday and his reply was …. “well he was on the bench on Wednesday right? You think I am going to put unfit players on the bench?”

I expect a back 4 of Brown, Vida, Evans, Evra Sunday.

I think Ando will play with Carrick/Fletcher and Park (who I don’t think should in front of Nani) will start on the left with Valencia on the right and Rooney leading the line.

  13. KingAbdullah says:

    How old is Anderson?

He’s going to be massive for us in the coming years. Bet he’s starting tomorrow.

  14. Paul Parker says:

WELL DONE SCOTT THE RED !!!!!

Shame Sky Sports News and Everybody else are more interested in pushing one-sided bollocks…. Thats not to say there wasn’t a bust up or transfer speculation etc. But come on, the lads in training for fuck sake !!! REPORT ON THAT !!! now all I wanna see now is Fletcher and Ando starting on Sunday, Scholes in the middle, Giggs on the left, Nani starting on the Right, Valencia coming on second half. Rooney up front….

WHOOO THE FUCK ARE FUCKING ARRRRRRRSENAL ????

Haha, its been fun, enjoy your weekends.

  15. Red Dave says:

We can’t let Ando go. He’s class, can pass the ball and can get stuck in as he’s proved in the past against scumbag Gerrard. He’s still very young and as we know with Fletcher it’s worth waiting for him to mature and become consistent.

  16. Costas says:

Glad to see him smiling at our training camp. Now lets see him play on Sunday and own the Arsenal midfield like he did in the semis last year!

  17. Jandsdad says:

seen this earlier. Good to see

  18. Drew Vader says:

    Good to see.

On a slightly related note, has anything happened with that young Belgian lad that SAF wrote a letter to after he broke his foot or some such?? Does anyone remember what I’m talking about? I think his name was Stephen Defour or some shit.

  19. Eric The Red says:

HaHa, he was on the bench all the time, I watched the game in the boozer, I must have been pissed!!!! Did we win? (joke)

    LUHG

  20. Xyth says:

We need him to shit again on Fabregass!

  21. Marq says:

Actually, you can see it both ways. For me, if I know I am not doing well, I’d be dead serious for all training sessions, as fun as they might be. So it kinda looks annoying to have him smiling all the time

  22. urval87 says:

bet you he starts against arsenal

  23. urval87 says:

    Xyth,
that will be Fletcher’s job day after tomorrow…. but i think he will start with carrick and fletcher in a 4-5-1 in the middle of the park…. I just hope Park does not play…. admire his contribution but in a 4-5-1 you need the wingers to have that creative spark….. he is very useful in a 4-4-2 where cover on the wings is needed….. Park does not offer a goal threat….. would prefer nani

  24. denton davey says:

Red Dave @ 20:48: “We can’t let Ando go. He’s class, can pass the ball and can get stuck in as he’s proved in the past against scumbag Gerrard. He’s still very young and as we know with Fletcher it’s worth waiting for him to mature and become consistent.”

EXACTLY ! I wrote in the earlier thread that the “news” about Anderson probably came from the same source that said SAF was freezing out Nani – who was injured – because of some comments that apparently raised the ire of the OldFootieKnight. Total bullshit.

Like Nani, Anderson is taking a while to settle in to the demands of first-team football; it took Fletcherinho three years to do so – off the top of my greying head, I’d say that only Rooney and Giggs became first-team players almost immediately, as teenagers. Even Scholes and Beckham and Neville and Nicky Butt had “growing pains” – so I don’t think that this slow evolution into the regular first-team selection is part of SAF’s way of integrating his kids into the style of play he wants to see. And, no one can argue, that the old man’s method doesn’t work.

  25. TheTipIsRed says:

I would be devastated if Ando left us. He may be inconsistent but his ability shouldn’t be questioned. I have even earmarked wearing his shirt when Giggs retires. And I totally agree with Denton Davey, SAF is very patient.

  26. Wakey says:

Alot of the reports of him going AWOL seem to come from him not being at Training on Monday and then turning up in Brazil. However alot of the reports did also mention at the end that he may have been given some time off, which actually isn’t that uncommon for Fergie to do. He may just have been told to take some time off, relax and try and get his head right for the upcoming matches rather than going AWOL

  27. jocke says:

    Anderson i love ya!

  28. smithy99 says:

Like a few others, I would be very sad to see Ando leave us. I think he has the potential to be a massive player for us in the not too distant future. When he’s on song i love watching the lad play.

Exactly the same as Nani in many respects.

  29. The Edge says:

Fletch will be the one shitting on Fabregas and Denilson and anyone else who gets in his way. Leaving space for Carrick and Ando to feed the ball to Rooney and Valencia.

Anderson can be a world beater. He has all the attributes apart from shooting and consistency. He loves United, who wouldn’t when you go training everyday and have a laugh with players like Wazza, Fletch, Rio, Giggsy, Patty Evra.

    COME ON UNITED

  30. FOO FOO says:

Can anyone confirm if Anderson did indeed skip training? Thanks

  31. hurr says:

Ando needs to stop trying those killer long passes which never works.

  32. kel says:

I do think they may be having some bust up. However, i think Anderson wants to play all the time and Sir Alex sure is patient enough not to kick him out given out debt with us can’t buying any more quality players. I do think they solved the problems and back to normal. I do like Anderson and he has ability to come out with the goods. He’s also young. His celebration is good and like Nani, they are so funny behind the scenes. Even remember how Anderson pretends to march with the soldiers last season makes me laugh. I do think he will play tomorrow with Fletcher and Carrick behind him. If the formation is 4-5-1 which i think we will. Park will play. Nani can’t play on the left hand side, Valencia will definitely play on the right in tomorrow game. Giggs will be on the bench given that he play in the midweek.

  33. CraigB says:

    QUESTION TO EVERYONE!!
With all the talks around players beeing unhappy, and some not performing, help me out here. Being in South Africa, all we get is what is on the news. Those closer to the action may have real news on whats going on? Players like Nani, Anderson Vidic, Carric, Da Silva brothers, Foster etc? Are these players close to leaving the club? Is it just talk? Are others being looked at as replacements, and is it possible given the finance problem? And whats the problem with Tosic, and Obertan? As well as Gibson and Kiko. Surely these kids are good enough given the chance? Whats going on in Manchester people. Hola, let me know.

    Take care.

  34. kel says:

    @CraigB

Tosic is being loan out till the end of the season. Obertan is playing with the reserve to build up his confidence. Although he is skillful and talented. He lack the courage to dribble past players. Gibson is pretty off the mark now given that he had his chances and it’s been some way off. As for Kiko, i think he is returning from injuries.

  35. Nightweeper says:

We have Gibson, Fletcher, Carrick, Scholes, Hargreaves (not yet)…..but Anderson is one of the best CM in the premier league…..he is a lefty thats really hard to find….and got speet and long shot !! scholes shud retier and let Anderson play…..

  36. mattythered says:

cant let ando go hes a great player and is still a kid..its not his fault fergie plays him as a defensive midfielder..he is an attackin midfielder so why doesnt he play him there?fergie confuses me sometimes with some stupid choices..he has great potental however i think its fair to say are midfield is poor..we need a left winger(david silva)a central midd(defour)and a striker(benzema, villa or fabiano)berba just slows are play down..am i being to negative lads?ps.awesome win on wednesday

  37. Mame Looks just like 50c says:

    @ CraigB

    http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Sport/Football/Premier+League/Manchester+United/All+Sources

No need to watch SABC or eTV lol (or any of those IDIOTIC football shows where they compare UNITED to chiefs and Pirates and say dumb things like “I very much believe to understand that Manchester United copy their playing manners from Orlando Pirates”)—–> TO THOSE COMING FOR THE WORLD CUP TRY NOT TO GET TOO PISSED OFF WITH THE TWITS OVER HERE.

all the kak is there bru just DONT BELIEVE everything you read …. If you find it on ROM though then its FACT ….

  38. Toby says:

to be honest I was dreading logging on the net today and seeing the headline “lyon agree fee for anderson” or something, thankfully I havent. Anderson can be a great player for united, too many people are saying he’s not that great etc but the guys only 21!

Why is it everyone expects our youth players to be the best in the world at this age? Maybe because Ronaldo rocketed up so fast.

  39. CraigB says:

    @Mame Looks just like 50c
LMAO. Yeah I stick away from those programmes. Eish. Thanks for the link boet…

  40. jespermoses says:
