Ando: I’m proud to have been a part of this tremendous club

Having sealed a loan move to Fiorentina until the end of the season, Anderson has thanked United fans and spoken with great affection for the club.

“Thank you Manchester United for all you gave to me,” Anderson said. “It was a pleasure and a proud to be part of this tremendous club. I will never forget my great colleagues and friends, all the amazing people that work in the club and obviously the fantastic supporters, always on my side. Love you all and you always be in my heart. Wish you all the best because we always be together United family! Now I have to leave because I really need to play. Thank you Fiorentina for this opportunity and you believe in me. You won’t regret because you trust me 100% and I will give you 100% of dedication, professionalism and quality. Together we will be happy.”

The way he’s speaking, he doesn’t seem to give the impression he’s coming back…

Smart move making this a loan till the end of the season. Nothing more frustrating than seeing a player you let go doing so well , especially when you had him and knew about his quality. I’ll bet he comes back if he has a revealing time at fiorentina.

  2. slim says:

Lets see what he looks like after the 2nd half of the season, we can make up our minds what we do with him then

Ando was a bit of a difficult one for me to rate. He’s one of those players that would give 100% on the pitch despite his weight control issues and he never ducked a tackle. He always was looking to drive forward which is something we lack at the moment but the thing i feel probably hampered him apart from his injury prone body was his monumental one footed way of playing. everything he did was on his left foot which probably hampered his progress more than it should have. but I liked the guy and I liked his commitment on the field so he’s a sad loss for us.

Only way this makes sense is if we are signing someone, so here is to hope.

Good luck to Ando. Good luck to us!

  5. Tommy says:

Kind words from Ando its obvious he respect this football club, He will be missed thats for sure just for his personality, him and Paddy must be great in the dressing room

  6. The One says:

Bye Ando, can’t say the feeling was mutual though!! You gave me great hope when you first joined us but you disappeared into oblivion subsequently….all the best all the same!!

Great it did not work for Ando will always be a mystery coz those 2 first seasons were great. Wish you all the best

  9. Ufuoma Patrick Odiete says:

Ando had always been the solution to our non existing midfield, he is creative, strong, skillful, a great passer of the ball and one of the fastest player in the league. how on earth did cleverley bench him? is sad we are letting a player of his quality go, we truly so not deserve him
