My favourite Bestie tale was when he was in London and going out with Mary Stavin(Miss World). They had been to the casino and had a very good night. The £10,000 he had won was thrown on the bed, she was in the bathroom slipping into ’something more comfortable’ and room service had just delivered the Champagne. As the guy left the room he turned and said “Do you mind if I ask a question Mr Best?” “No” said Georgie “Well ” said the waiter “Where did it all go wrong for you?”
