I do not take the Glazers lightly, I like many hate the fact (like I pointed out) that they have dragged us into debt. However, the way things are going.. WE ARE COVERING the repayments. Which means, like any business who invests, it is going to plan.

Hate the Glazers, but am not losing sleep.

TomF i think you will find that Man utd`s paymenst are not fully covered, it currently costs MAN utd 60 million a year in inetrest payments annually. the galzers have taken on penal hedge fund loans that will from next year cost a staggering 18% a year and are on a rising scale untill loans are paid off. you also still owe money for the tarnsfers of the last 4 years to the tune of 60 million but those are not on the balance sheet as the repayments are not complete.

your debts are 700 million with your ground being owned by jp morgan and not the glazers.
the galzers recently tried to issue a debt bond structure similar to Arsenals but there were no takers in the fianancial markets.
the primary difference betwen the debt that ARSENAL HAVE AND MAN UTD HAVE IS THAT YOURS WILL RISE AS THE INTEREST RATES RISE OURS IS FIXED FOR 21 YEARS WITH A MINIMUM OF 14M RISING TO 24 MILLION MAXIMUM A YEAR.
we also have 2 cash rich billionaires as shareholders who are looking to take us over, unlike the galzers who are not cash rich and are having problems in their businesses in the USA.

your days of buying players for big money are over cos the money men will not be able to sanction large amounts for transfers as the debt cover that banks require espeacilly in the current credit crunch climate is increasing annually.

you man utd fans should not take your debt situation so lightly as it has the potential to derail your club for a few years if the galzers are forced to sell.

Scotland Steve, as much as I dislike the fact that Manchester United (don’t know who the f–k Man U are) are owned by Americans, the debt re-payments are more than covered. It is nothing for us to worry about. The intrest is all covered.

i’m struggling to see how you can compare the two, if it’s simply a “haha in your face he signed for us” between the two clubs you’re not gonna find it here, arsenal have made no attempt to sign huntelaar, whilst ramsey did actually choose arsenal over united, and just because he’s stalling on a new contract it doesn’t mean you’ll snap him up, barca need a new forward….and the big spanish teams are clearly more appealing than manchester united

Ramsey can’t be much of a Unitedfan at all since he chose Arsenal before United.

I know that I would never think about any other club if United wanted me. Even if the treated me like shit I would still choose United.
