Sir Alex Ferguson, You are arguably one of the finest football managers of all time and you join the likes of Sir Matt Busby, Jock Stein, Sir Alf Ramsey, Bob Paisley, Bill Shankly and the late Sir Bobby Robson just to mention a handfull. All of you seem to have been brought up, in relation to todays standards, in relative poverty and working class families. How has this helped you to become the football manager you are today and how will we find the next generation of football managers when there is very little similarities in upbringing with the past?
Also Your son Darren is a carbon copy of his father but does his easier upbringing hinder his approach to management?
If Real Madrid offers 100 million pounds for Rooney at the end of the season, would you sell him?

Good morning Fergie, from Australia here. Firstly I wanted to say thankyou for making waking up in the middle of the night so darn worth it to watch your masterpeices in action. Its a thrill, its a privellege, & the way you conduct it all is pure class. And we all love you for that down here.
One question what desire, or mantra do you live by for you to keep on going so long. Like when you wake up everymorning what thrives you to do what you do?

You always defended Veron, and his pass to Deigo Forlan against Chelsea in the 2002-03 campaign in stoppage time was the best blind pass history saw, and it was that pass that gave us the title.
Why did you let him go so easily to Chelsea during that summer, especially when Becks had left everyone thought Seba would shine.

a serious one. You are a father-figure to me, and I’m sure to many other fans too. I’m a big admirer of your unquenchable thirst for success, and your sheer cold-blooded refusal to accept anything but the top spot. My question is, how do you filter the same attitude down to the players? And while choosing a player, how do you make out that the player doesn’t have just the quality, but also the character and attitude to be a MANCHESTER UNITED player? Because we can all see the difference between our players, and the “stars” of other teams, no naming names.

Success in European Club Competition is one of the key credentials which determine a great manager.You had already tasted success in Aberdeen before you joined us. With us getting banned in Europe (due to no fault of ours !), How difficult was it to get motivated to personally ,manage people at the club and retaining players like Robson who did not fall for the temptation to play abroad for getting a chance to play in Europe.. Was that instrumental in redefining the clubs youth emphasis and going back to its roots which helped us unearth the squad of 92 among others ??
