Ted – Hardly hooliganism – that treatment is handed out by all teams. Sometimes with bad consequences, eg Cech. Again, do you expect football to be non contact?

Chelseagirl – Ballack went to ground because of the breeze that was created when Evra ran past him. The ref took possession off us whilst he held his ribs, pretending he had been hurt. Moments later, Evra is running down that wing again, and because he got made to look an idiot last time, Ballack blocks him off the ball. Yes, that is a cheat. One minute he pretended to be hurt and the next minute he cynically collided in to one of our players. He’s a cheat.

The only reason Moscow went to penalties was because the hours and hours and hours of rain caused Van der Sar to slip, which allowed Lampard to score. So don’t feel too hard done by

Scott: Ancient history Indeed – presumably “Chelsea is full of cheaters. Drogba,Carvalho and ballack were always cheaters from the time José Mourinho brought them to chelsea.” is also pretty irrelevant!! We managed to get through a day without the nazi scum style insults popping up too!!

It was probably the definition of “cheating” that I was trying to take issue with – is a block, albeit one that should have constituted a yellow card, “cheating”? To me, diving is “cheating” because you are deliberately going out to con the ref. Ballack was very up front about what he did in the interview afterwards – he knew he should have been booked. So I don’t think he cheated as such. Defenders block people at corners and free kicks all the time – are they cheating? Do we want to turn it into the non-contact sport that the FA and European referees seem to want to? How bloody annoying is it when you play a team like Barcelona and they go over all the time to get free kicks…now that’s cheating.

And yes, you did beat us when it mattered – had it not been raining for hours and hours and hours then JT may not have slipped and the world would be a different place!

Chelsea girl – what Keane, Ronaldo and Neville did is irrelevant. This is a thread about now, not last season, or two seasons ago, or ten seasons ago. If we want to discuss Ballack cheating against us, then we will do, just like you would be doing on your Chelsea forums if one of our players cheated and we scored as a consequence. No need to get so uppity. We beat you when it mattered, and that’s all we’re really arsed about, but I don’t see any problem in us having a go at Ballack for being a cheat.

Christ you lot bleat on. Of course, Mr. Keane never committed any fouls, Ronaldo never dived and Gary Neville never whinged…

It was a friendly, it was never a sending off (yellow card, yes – red, never in a million years). Yes, we have got our own forum, but it’s generally populated by morons over the summer so some of us popped over here for a bit of conversation.

Clearly, you prefer your own self-pity city-style “oh woe is us, everyone hates us, Chelsea are nazi scum” to a bit of decent chat, so I’ll leave you to it.

And btw, you aren’t the most hated team in the media….only one winner there ….and quite frankly, we don’t give a toss! All the scouse-loving media should be boycotted if you ask me.
