Nick Barmby used to stand on the Kop when he was at Lilleshall, turned down the 'mighty' United to win Liverpool's second treble in 2001, so I guess his advice is convenience. Good luck to the kid as we know what Fergie is like when his star pupils eventually want to move onto a club with more class, a la Heinze, Ronaldo and Rio. I have more faith in the views on Davide Petrucci, the way he is regarded in Italy and Europe has some integrity about it, maybe because I am not Italian or maybe because English/UK football is generally so over-hyped!
