Mark Hughes’ City will be a tougher team for us to face but that doesn’t change the fact they’re highly overrating their own worth. We have over half a century of success that’s evidence in our trophy cabinet. City cannot buy that for any money and their dreaming if they think they have the balls big enough to step out of our all encompassing shadow!

City have long been a team to make me giggle, they seem to open a new chapter in comedy every season, them quotes had me in tears!

I can see Mark Hughes getting sacked in the summer, and I wont have a bit of sympathy with him because my opinion of him has changed somewhat in the last couple of months.

True Scott. The whole bought the title thing was the last refuge of the buffoon! United have never been shy in hitting the transfer market with a blitz of cash but the money has almost always been spent with accuracy and precision. The point they miss is that United’s real strength is their management structure and belief in long term planning.
City will spend a fortune in the next twelve months and i can virtually guarantee they’ll still finish outside the top four. Their title challenge will, in the words of Eddie Izzard, “slowly dissipate, like a flan in a cupboard”
