    Awesome Stuff Scott!

  2. AlphaRS says:

With The Glaziers and their Glaziernomics United will get to the top.

    Glaziernomics FTW…!

  3. It's in my blood says:

Of course we know that the day United would be allowed to negotiate their own TV rights would be the day the world ( Real and Barca included ) really sees the magnitude of our worldwide appeal!

  4. wayne says:

it’s in my blood ,good point mate gives Real and Barca a big advantage at the expense of every other club in Spain greedy bastards

  5. Aberbacadabra says:

Offtopic: i wonder what reception the racist rat munching son of a **** will get at the theatre of dreams. Can’t wait!

  6. OldhamRED says:

what your all missing though is this is turnover and not actually profit. Whats the saying again ”Turnovers Vanity, Profit’s Sanity”

  7. It's in my blood says:

    Off topic, sorry, Pearce!
    Hahahahahaha!
    Ingurland hahahaha

  8. Briggsy says:

@Aberbacadabra Hopefully none as he’ll break his leg when stepping of the team bus. There’s always hope.

Also,I see Daglish has come out and said, ‘A line needs to be drawn under the matter’, when he’s the only one who keeps bringing it back up.

  9. Costas says:

Nice to see that the Emptihad is paying off so well for Man Shity.

  10. WillieRedNut says:

With all the bollox over Suarez this coming weekend, we still have a game to win lads. Lets not lose our focus. Big game. Need the 3 points.

  11. smartalex says:

    Any links to MUTV?

United reserves were set to face City’s Elite Development Squad in the Manchester Senior Cup at Carrington 15 minutes ago. Cleverley might be involved.

Someone switch on their telly and report in, at least!

  12. brettbcn says:

    Link above, 1-0 United

  13. brettbcn says:

TC not on at the moment, don’t know the team list for today

  14. Jonny says:

All I can see is the ridiculous price of shirts, tickets and even Sky subscriptions.

Football is a working class sport and clubs are/should be essentially not-for-profit organisations.

Fifa needs to cap wages and transfer fees globally, but they never will because that would jeapordise their own ridiculously high wages.

    Disgusting.

  15. King Eric says:

Pearce? Ha. fuck me. The media will love him and the fans because he is PASSIONATE. Talentless but passionate. Fucking clowns. Pearce the man who played Cleverley on the left wing or on the bench in the under 21 tournament to accomodate Herman Munster Henderson who was fucking dogshit.

Gonna have to avoid this site now for rest of day as don’t wanna know United score till I watch it tonight. Just one question. Is Tom playing? Elite Dev Squad? Fucking idiotic cunts.

  16. smartalex says:

    brettbcn

    Thanks mate!

  17. Jonny says:

    Regarding Pearce:

    Sepp on racism: the highlights

Man of the week: PFA head Gordon Taylor – says Sepp’s view on “heat of the moment” racism is “embarrassing… he doesn’t understand how divisive racism is. Saying that anyone on the receiving end should just treat it as part of the game and shake hands, it’s outrageous. He’s just not with it.” (1994: Taylor says Stuart Pearce’s alleged racist abuse of Paul Ince was “in the heat of the moment … Stuart regrets what he said, and he’ll be ringing Paul to apologise. Hopefully that will be the end of it.”)

    http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2011/nov/19/said-and-done-sepp-blatter

Nice work by the FA yet again. Gary Neville should get the job. No joke.

  18. dazbomber says:

    Is Cleverley playing, ?

  19. Jonny says:

The latest unsavoury incident to hit football, Stuart Pearce’s alleged racial abuse of Paul Ince in Saturday’s Premiership match between Nottingham Forest and Manchester United, is expected to be defused by an apology.

The player has spoken to Gordon Taylor, the head of the Professional Footballers’ Association, who said: “Stuart regrets what he has done. He will be ringing Paul to apologise.”

He is not on the field and I don’t know who the subs are…

  21. smartalex says:

On second thoughts, that site uses software that doesn’t suit Mac.

  22. brettbcn says:

    Its working on my mac

  23. brettbcn says:

  24. eddieTheRed says:

If United were allowed to sell the rights to their own games direct to the consumer I reckon they would top £1 billion a year easily!

  25. redevil_83 says:

we’d be miles ahead of the sspanish if we had a disproportionate share of tv rights money. united has the biggest fanbase in the world. thankfully, the FA is apt at something and this is good for the english league’s competitiveness

that deloitte money table is a joke. should be footnoted of course.

  26. Jeet says:

The thing is, that most fans globally are gloryhunters. India and China are the biggest markets and Latam is arguably the most football crazy. The latter always supported spanish clubs, and sorry to say as an Indian, but my country is full of gloryhunting kids who change allegiance based on who’s winning and which club signed . So, with Barca dominating, Spain winning the world club, and CR7 in Madrid, you know the score.
Also, though I dont have stats, I have a feeling that these gloryhunting fans also buy the most merchandise, because it’s “cool”. Personally, despite being a United fan for more than a decade, I don’t have a single piece of merchandise (well, apart from a Nike tee with the Red Devil emblazoned on it, which my wife gifted me) because a) some part of me still finds the entire Glazer issue to be relevant and I dont want to line their pockets and b) Iwould hate to be taken for one of those shallow bastards who wear a United (or a Jim Morrison, or a Che Guevara) tee, without any conception of what it means and what a priviledge it is.
In some ways though, I guess it is brutally fair because the team that wins and dominates gets the max dosh out of it.

  27. l-swerve-l says:

no cleverley, below are the comments from ‘today at old trafford’ on manutd.com…

12:35 Here’s the United Reserves team: Kuszczak; Vermijl, M Keane, Fornasier, Fryers; L Cole, Thorpe, Petrucci; King, W Keane, Lingard. Subs: Sutherland, Massacci, Brown, Rafael Leao, Giverin. (AB)

12:42 Some of you might be disappointed that Tom Cleverley isn’t getting the anticipated run-out for the reserves today – but don’t despair. Sir Alex will have his reasons, and he’ll probably give us an update in his pre-Liverpool press conference tomorrow morning. Meanwhile, Frederic Veseli – our deadline-day signing from City – is ineligible to face his old club having played for them in an earlier Senior Cup fixture this season. (AB)

  28. Sgt. Pepper says:

Fuck their individual TV rights with Mediapro. The collective deal in England is very important for all teams. Anyway, I think the currency is a bigger factor in the comparison, here is an important part from the Deloitte report:

“For the purpose of the international comparisons, all figures for the 2010/11 season have been translated at 30 June 2011 exchange rates (£1 = €1.1073).”

Before the economic crisis the GBP was much stronger £1 = €1.4 or so. No wonder the gap is bigger in the Money Leauge in recent years despite the fantastic commercial growth from United. With a little bit stronger pounds sterling the club would be well above the €400m mark and closer to Real & Barca in this list. (sorry for any grammar mistake, english is my third language)

    Sgt. Pepper

  29. denton davey says:

EddieTheRed @ 13:33: “If United were allowed to sell the rights to their own games direct to the consumer I reckon they would top £1 billion a year easily!”

And the Glazer’s debt would instantly vanish !

  30. Sandeep1878 says:

Surprised to see Kuszczach in the goal..

is he on for Pool game?

  31. booch says:

  32. It's in my blood says:

    brettbcn

Good link, thanks (fine on my Mac smartalex)
United kids doing fine, all in shortsleeves, no gloves as opposed to the Elite Nancy boys development team who all have long sleeves and gloves on at least 8/9 players.
    1-0 us.

  33. Jeet says:

    @booch: I see your strong aversion for wingers….. :)

and as for Stuart Pearce, hafuckingha!!!!

  34. Jeet says:

@Sgt: Pepper: Nice name, but I do prefer The Stones :)

  35. WillieRedNut says:

    I prefer The Rocks!

  36. Sandeep1878 says:

    It’s in my blood,

    Hello buddy, how are you?

yup good game by our kids..

    hope we kill the game..

    PIG in goal…

what is it? Ben amos rested or PIG getting a run out before pool game? :P

    very confused :)

  37. dannysoya says:

No surprise that barcelona and madrid are at the top. WHen you have the opportunity to negotiate your TV rights then it is all dandy for you. We are in a system that tries to make it fair for all english football clubs. If we negotiate out own TV rights we would be out of sight. The brand is REALLY STRONG. This should shut the “massive debt” ABU mugs up for a bit. LOL.

  38. WillieRedNut says:

    Flyers.

  39. Paul Parker says:

I’ll have a look at those stats later, can’t open the image any bigger at the mo. No doubt the Spanish are pouring tax payers money into the two biggest Clubs tho? We are spot on not to buy players JUST because we can afford it. Real Madrid bought Ronaldo, and not only does it look like its ending in tears but how have Madrid benefited except in shirt sales? Even buying the BEST player in the world (at the time) doesn’t guarantee success, so the idea we can buy one fella and solve everything at Old Trafford is a bit naive. We are where we are through our Manager’s long term vision for the Club, not because of City/Chelsea-esque spending, so if Alex isn’t moving for any midfielders at the mo I’ll put that down to “conscious intent” rather than “crisis at United”.

The coming changes in football will effect all Clubs, and as usual our manager is looking ahead and planning in advance. Can’t knock him for being frugal!

@Johnny – top post about Pearce and Ince. We’re only a hop skip and jump away from the 80′s so anybody overly surprised by racism in the game needs a dose of reality. For starters half the CUNTS in the game and in the stands back then are still alive now! There were less than ten foreigners when the EPL started and none of them were black (I don’t think) but for a racist looking at the same League today it must burn their eyes haha. But the idea of Pearce stepping in to ease the race row is hilariously ironic, its as if every where the FA turn they are surrounded by Cunts haha.

    Gotta laugh at the FA.

  40. It's in my blood says:

    Sandeep

    Hey mate, i’m well thanks.
I’d bet Amos is being rested, PIG seems to have played his last game already and doesn’t seem to be in SAFs plans barring an emergency.
2nd half now, see you later.

  41. Jeet says:

    I also like The Stoned!

  42. brettbcn says:

    2-1

  43. dazbomber says:

    Brettbcn-Cheers pal

  44. brettbcn says:

    Shit 2-2

  45. brettbcn says:

    fuck me 2-3

  46. Vilhelm28 says:

Yeah, watching the game. I have to wonder how many of the players on the field from United have the potential to take the step up to the first team. The United players really seem ordinary….

  47. slim says:

Will Keane and Larnel cole look far from ordinary from where i’m sitting

  48. Costas says:

Hopefully the reason Tom isn’t playing today wasn’t another setback. Maybe he wanted to include him in the squad for Liverpool.

  49. brettbcn says:

    and Fryers and Lingard

  50. l-swerve-l says:

I’d imagine that Clevs and Amos are in the squad for the liverpool match thats on saturday at 12 so they wont be risked/run out with less than 2 days recovery time.
Also (with the risk of being proved wrong :S) I’d have to say that some people worry/speculate far too much for people playing or not playing in a reserve match…

  51. Paul Parker says:

@Jeet – 13:39 – thats an interesting take on glory hunters abroad mate. The way I see it, are millions upon millions of global boxing fans “glory hunters” for all claiming in unison that Muhammad Ali was the greatest ever? Most people rank him as their number one boxer, and thats only because he was the BEST, but isn’t that also “glory hunting”? Even if your favourite was Haglar or Tyson, if you come from Scunthorpe or wherever surely any “true” boxing fan would only support the boxer born and raised nearest to them? (Sarcasm) Or what about the whole world in the early 90′s wearing LA RAIDERS and CHICAGO BULLS gear? Was everybody outside the States “glory hunting” when they followed the outstanding career of Michael Jordan? Hell – shouldn’t all of England take off their American baseball caps and put on flat caps??? A Basketball fan NOT following the LA Lakers just because he’s born in Salford would be daft, so imo the whole “glory hunter” thing is slightly different for foreign fans following sports in another country. Personally, when I see people across Asia or Africa wearing RUUD or ROONEY shirts I don’t think they’re glory hunters, I think they’ve got taste!

  52. rohan19 says:

@vilhem28 : mate you’re never gonna have 11 players playing for the reserves who’re already ready for the first team. they aren’t ready hence they’re playin in reserves.
imo blackett fryers larnell cole will keane pogba tunni and in a few years jack barmby have the best shot at making it..
also i believe ben amos can be top quality.

  53. brettbcn says:

    2-4 90th minute

  54. It's in my blood says:

Blimey, we just seemed to switch off for a few mins and bang, chasing it after that.
Scoreline doesn’t really tell the story!
Larnell Cole looks decidedly useful, pitch looks decidedly dodgy.
Makes you wonder about injuries at Utd when you look at the state of that Carrington playing surface.
Oh well. Saturday is the day that really matters.

  55. MrKirie says:

    Well said Paul Parker!

  56. rohan19 says:

@ jeet : you’re right to some extent. back when liverpool won the CL i saw hordes of people in ‘stevie me’ jersey.. and now its barca.. thats the way a market functions. there’s nothing anyone can do about it.. if you look at the cricket merchandise and support not much glory hunting exists. i haven’t seen many aussies swear by tendulkar and haven’t seen many indians swear by ricky ponting. (i personally hate the bastard after the sydney game 4 years back. you’ll remember that one). so i think it mostly exists in league sport. where teams are localized rather than nationalized.

P.S : even i do not have any united merchandise. it is sort of taboo for me. the one time i bought a jersey united lost the title to chelsea by one point. !!

  57. lebomanc says:

    Is the reserves game over?

  58. lebomanc says:

    Rohan19

Haha I think you’d rather stick to not buying the shirts

  59. lebomanc says:

    Rohan19

Haha I think you’d rather stick to not buying the shirts

  60. Jeet says:

@Paul Parker: You’ve got me totally wrong, mate. I for one, have spoken out numerous times against the “You’re a gloryhunter cause you’ve never been to OT” brigade. I myself became addicted to United, not only because my Old Man was a Fergie and Bestie fan, but more so because one day I switched on the telly and saw poetry in motion, i.e. Keane, Scholes, Giggsy and Becks in action.

What I’m referring to is an entirely different phenomenon. Kids who will buy Munich merchandise if Messi moves to Bayern. Thousands of kids have stopped watching United because we got dumped out of the CL (may were wearing rooney tshirts in front of their telly that fateful night against Basel). Even “ex-utd. fans” who started supporting city (thankfully, very few till date) because they “cant be beaten”. Kids sporting Messi (never Xavi or Iniesta) tees but who dont understand the offside rule. Utd. fans who never make any effort to understand the club.

We all started because we liked the way United played, or because United won, or because we thought Giggsy was hot, but we knew we were in it for life, and took it upon ourselves to get educated on the club. Contrast to kids changing allegiance faster than a golddigger changing husbands. That, sorry, I cannot accept.

  61. rohan19 says:

@lebomanc : yep. worst part was, i bought mine the day atkinson or some other ref stole the title from us. its a taboo ever since.

  62. FletchTHEMAN says:

Key numbers that can be pulled from other sources suggest the United business plan is in good shape including about 80 paid down on our borrowed funds now down to around £308.3m, (decrease from £376.9m)

    Some key numbers:
Annual operating profit of £110.9m (increase).
Revenue of £334.1m for the year to the end of June 2011 (increase of £45m)
Pre-tax profit of £29.7m. (increase, compared to a loss the previous year due to restructuring of the bond dept.)

Turnover increased in all major sectors,
    – matchday revenue now £108.6m (increase from £100.2m)
    – media revenue climbing to £119.4 (increase from £104.8m)
    – commercial revenue growing to £103.4m (increase from £81.4m)

If United could negotiate its broadcast income it would kick proverbial ass.
Its matchday income is incredible. Only rivaled by the virus who pay significantly more for seats.

I think the picture looks really good, but fans want to see this translated into some quality signings AND the emergence of some of our youth (Amos, Cleverley, Danny, Podga part of that)

  63. lebomanc says:

    Rohan19
Happened to me last season as united were winning a lot of games and then on a certain matchday I decided to put on my jersey and united lost! Still wear it when I want to though

  64. jasmine_MUFC says:

    lebomanc
hi , when is our next game?

  65. WillieRedNut says:

    Jeet Paul Parker

Glory hunters are a part of a fabric at any successful club. City fans for years made fun of our global fan base, cos it was so vast and from every corner of the world. They will experience the exact same thing, the more trophies they win(hope it never happens) In Northern Ireland, the 4 biggest clubs were United, Liverpool, Celtic and Glasgow Rangers. If you happened to be over here at any time during the last 25 years, that was the tops you would’ve seen people wearing. Since Chelsea’s emergence, I’ve seen more and more kids wearing Chelsea kits/tops. Before the Roman era though, hardly any. I’m not saying United, or even the dippers don’t have their fare share of glory hunters. In football, you’ll always have people jumping on the bandwagon. Just the way it goes unfortunately….

  66. Jeet says:

@Willie: You know, I don’t mind getting attracted to success. Not one bit. I understand that. What I do mind is jumping ship when the waters get rough. That’s the part I find difficult to digest.

  67. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

I’ve decided I couldn’t give a damn about the financial side to United.
We have no role in decision making so no point making useless suggestions like sell to qataris.

    Concentrate on footballing matters like;
    Keep the team fit.
Target at least 34 points from the remaing 42 ponts available at Minimum
We need a midfielder, perhaps another defender.
We need to be nice to the likes of Berbie,Owen,Anderson,Kuszchak etc and let them leave.
    Also reinvesting ( ;) financial talk eh? ) in Scholes’,Gibson’s,Hargs,Fletchers replacement/cover..

Lastly sack Alex Ferguson and bring Don Fabio Acapello

  68. Jeet says:

@Clint: Have you got your holes figured out?

  69. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Jeet. – I see where you’re coming from but without elaborating and causing a furore, not many people who originate from that part of the world understand loyalty in sport. None of my family other than my brother and I understand it anyway.

However it’s not just restricted there some people just want to be flavour of the month, seen it first hand when I worked in a sports shop. Mums would come in with the kids and get the kids to switch to the best.

Was on a train after we beat Pompey in the community shield and there was a little kid fully kitted out with his Mum and I overheard her say to the brat in training

“You used to support Chelsea didn’t you but now you’re a Man U fan.”

It happens eveywhere but its just more common in India (and most devoloping countries) the majority of people just follow the individual, they don’t fully understand the team concept or just like to be associated with the best.

The amount of times peoples faces used to light up when I showed them the pictures on my phone of when I went to OT whilst in Japan was simultaneously amazing and strange. For them its like I’ve done something amazing. For me it really isn’t as I’m from England. Like I said by having gone to OT numerous times they were just as impressed by that as they were my qualifications and these were businessmen I’m talking about.

  70. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

Yes Jeet, I’ve concluded women shit out of two holes, one has the soft shit and the other has hard shit, whereas a penis is the CNS for males and the arsehole is the exaust pipe of the male anatomy which releases liquids that the brain does not use.

With the “brain” I got, no wonder Ms Cunningham gave me an A every term.

  71. Jeet says:

@NRD: Don’t lay too much emphasis on what the mum-in-the-train said. Women! And that too Indian women from a previous generation – since when have they ever understood the first thing about sports?

  72. Jeet says:

    LMAO

  73. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Paul Parker – You’re spot on about the Raiders and Chicago Bulls thing. Some things transcend sport and become iconic. Saw a film about the Raiders a while ago about Al Davis and the Raiders and how the NWA made them mainstream by wearing their iconic black clothing in their music videos. My old man (who hates Hip Hop) has all the LA Raiders gear so had to laugh when in the film they associated Raiders with gang culture. Told my Dad he was responsible for getting me into hip hop with his gang colours. He wasn’t too happy. I’m a Raiders fan purely down to the Hip Hop connection. Hardly see many Raiders games these days because hardly any are broadcast because they aren’t very good.

Ditto with Bulls, as a kid after the ITV Chart show they used to show the NBA and the Bulls dominate. Jordan made Basketball famous around the world. Add that to his NIKE deal became bigger than than the sport itself. People see it as successful and its a fashion label in itself and wear the merchandise around.

Abroad thats exactly what United is. Its a fashion brand just as much as it is a football team.

Also had to laugh at the pic you put up in the other thread had me in stitches that. Good film too.

@willierednut – You ought to check the film out mate, I know you like your hip hop its called Straight Outta LA.

  74. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Jeet – I totally agree without sounding sexist (I don’t know any women personally that actually support United) the women who follow football try way too hard for me.

Overdo it. I was with my girlfriend, one of her female friends, and some others we both mutually knew watching United vs l’arse at a mates house when we ended their unbeaten run and I went mental when both goals went in.

Apparently I was way too agressive in the way I follow my football. What the fuck does that even mean? I’m supposed to do a golf clap when we win? It was a huge game we weren’t expected to win. I vowed that day never to watch football both live and on TV with any woman I’m interested in/going out with. Spot on about Indian women never met a single one who even plays sports let alone understands it. Stick a bollywood film on and low and behold 3 hours of recycled torture from hollywood with songs!!!

  75. Dakduivel says:

    @Clint-iamyourpapii

Thought Anderson did really good at the opening of the season. The pairing of Clevs/Ando ripped apart every defene they were up against.. So why should he leave?

  76. Saad says:

Dogleash saying that Suarez will shake evra’s hand. Evra doesnt want Suarez to shake his hand. He wants him to apologize and then maybe shake his hand. Dogleash is trying to put Evra in a tight spot coz if Evra chooses not to shake suarez’s hand, they’ll try to make Evra out as the bad guy.

Until that man-dog owns up to his crime, touching his hand in any civil gesture would be a crime and a betrayal to all victims of racism around the world. DEATH to the cunt!

  77. WillieRedNut says:

Notorious – Cheers mate. Will do.

  78. dannysoya says:

WOW did anyone see the story in the mirror. Suarez says that he knew what he did on the pitch but that evra should not have said anything to the press. He then tries to use the so called “unwritten rule” that says that what happens on the pitch should stay on the pitch. You can see that this MUG knew what he did to Evra. OMG what the fuck is the F.A waiting for?

  79. smartalex says:

I’m hearing that David Beckham didn’t join Spurs in the 2011 January window.
    No surprise there, I guess.

  80. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Where is Giles Oakley? I have not seen any posts for a while and I really enjoy reading his opinions.

  81. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    James

You souhern fairy get your arse back here otherwise I’m going to have to treat you a weird fucker huddle on Saturday in platts.

King Eric / Mike / James

What time you guys heading in on Saturday?

  82. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@dannysoya – Yeah I read that his entire stance “I said sorry but don’t mean it.” same goes for that shit club he plays for. If that was the “unwritten rule” that means the field of football is beyond the means of law which it most certainly isn’t.

I am hugely disappointed that Evra hasn’t taken a legal stance on how dogleash and vermin football club have constantly said libelous things about him. Furthermore the fact the scouse cunts haven’t shut up about it appauls me too. I know some peoples views are that Evra has remained dignified by staying silent but for me the minute dogleash had said

“He’d done this sort of thing before” when he clearly hadn’t would have had me ring my agent/solicitor pronto.

  83. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

I have nothing against Ando but when did he join 2007? Its 2012 and by the summer his 4th season will have passed. Terrific potential but we’ve only seen this at max for 3 games in a row.

Perhaps a loan spell at a good team will do him well. On his day, he’s a right little warrior but how often will we have to wait 6 months for this to appear? Nani has done us proud, Ando is yet to match a quarter of Nani’s contribution to United.

Nani was progressing in 2009-10, led the way assistwise and scored stunners in 2010-11 and has done very well in 2012.
Anderson meanwhile has learnt to shoot and how to play with Clevs, apart from that there no career defining moment yet. Please remind if anyone knows and I’ll head straight to youtube then apologise.

I hope he plays this season and stays fit. Because 1 more season of this goes beyond faith in youth and more to the levels of Arsenals persistance with clowns like Denilson,Bendtner,Walcott,Djourou etc.

Not every player makes the grade, im not saying Ando is a clown Lol (looks like one though) but I hope the cutting of his hair and the slight improvement of his english speaking skills is displaying some sort of maturity because we really need guys like Clevs,Ando to step up, we can’t always rely upon Scholes + Giggs….with Fletch out ill, Gibson sold, the prince re-retiring, a signing would boost us in strength in Quality which is needed ahead of strength in depth.

  84. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

    Great video of Anderson:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cCBtlUwnhkw

After this clip, I thought I misjudged my evaluation of Ando’s contribution during the last 4 seasons but I Know its more likely I am spot on because Ando’s videos are very misleading. I remember back in 2007 I thought according to youtube we was getting the next Cesc Fabregas but of United with the flair to dance and destroy like Ronaldinho…..

    :(

James is back posting pal, I threatened him if he left that I will have him sit at the South Stand from now on! As for Sir Giles, like you I miss his posts/articles as well

Willie, NRD, Jeet and Paul Parker…… Nice posts fellas

    Evening all

  86. fergie is the boss says:

after capello resigned, is he basically saying he is a racist

  87. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Ey up Cedars how’s tricks mate

  88. CedarsDevil says:

    Giggs12

All good mate, cannot wait for Saturday……. Already mentioned to the lads how envious I am of you lot for actually being there!….. This of all games I would have loved to see at OT

Will give you fellas a ring once you meet up at Platts for a quick hello and a laugh as well!

  89. It's in my blood says:

    Apparently tweeted by Rio:
“When Welbz + @tomclevz23 bring their 1 2s I see in training to the PL its going to be OVER for opposing teams, trust me!!#SameWavelength”
    Let’s hope so!

  90. fergie is the boss says:

WillieRedNut — shitty fans have become everything they hate, and they can spin it all they like but that’s what has gone on at their club. Yaya toure is the example of how they used to moan about united wages, look at them now

  91. CedarsDevil says:

    It’s in my blood

Evening my friend, saw your mention on the other thread, hope all is well. The Earl is indeed back….

Regarding wee Thomas, if hopefully he stays fit I am sure he will be the catalyst for success over the next few years….. I frigging love the kid

  92. CedarsDevil says:

    It’s in my blood

Rio has a point, was it against Spurs when wee Thomas delivered that inch perfect cross for Welbeck?

    Besides they are good friends………

Bloody hell, I love this club

  93. NotoriousRedDevil says:

If its any consolation Cedars looks very unlikely I won’t be there on Saturday, so probably join you on here for a cyber beer. Was absolutely convinced I’d get tickets but club are selling season tickets for the remainder of the season and low and behold the vermin game is part of that deal. Having a look at the fixtures left at home not surprised they are doing that especially as with no major cup runs possible. Can’t believe its a very good possibility that the cit-eh game will be my last memory of OT. I pray it isn’t :-(

  94. WillieRedNut says:

FITB – Whats Ya Ya on again, over 200k a week? I understand some of his wages is tied to how well he, and city do? Still hefty wages….

    Evening Cedars! :)

  95. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ fitb – Yeah but in their world its okay if they do it. Its like that attractive girl at school/college/uni/work who puts it about a bit. She’s a slag until you get the opportunity to smash it. ;-)

They have cit-eh shirts for sale in Devon for heavens sake. They have sold out and their oh so moral ground they stood on is looking like quicksand from where I’m sat high on my perch :-)

  96. Mikekelly12 says:

    Evening all.
    Getting fucking excited now!!
Cedars, how ya doing pal? All good I hope.
    Giggs12
Eh up fella. I should be getting in Platts about 11.15/30 ish. My mates picking me up but he’s at Bombay Bicycle Club gig friday night so hoping he won’t be hungover/late!!
    James
Where are you? Have you started walking to Old Trafford ?!?!

  97. It's in my blood says:

    Cedars,

Hi mate, got to dash through the door, speak later i hope?

  98. CedarsDevil says:

    NRD

Gutted for you pal, missing out on the mother off all matches….. Not sure how long you will be back in the UK but I hope you get to OT for at least one game before you leave to wipe out ‘that’ memory.

Willie – Why good evening me Irish chum

  99. CedarsDevil says:

    It’s in my blood

As long as I am around we will always speak!

    Mike

Hi, now it all makes sense…… So James actually walks from Sandwich to OT? Bugger must be fit as a rabbit

  100. King Eric says:

Giggs12 – I will be there about eleven to half past. Here is my number 07515 099568 . Give me a text when you read this pal.

  101. fergie is the boss says:

WillieRedNut and NotoriousRedDevil – this sums up shitty chelsea and madrid, they are the skinny useless wannabe’s, who want to do what the best do. So what do they do, they go to places where they sell the steroids, inject a shit load into their system so they can compete. The spanish government, the russians and the arabs are madrids shitty and chelsea steroids, they could not do it on their own, they needed some outside help. And that sums those clubs up.

  102. fergie is the boss says:

and that aint sour graps that is some fun facts on those 3 clubs, hey poor chelsea no more roids no more titles simple has that

  103. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    King Eric / Mike

Sound lads ill aim for that time as well, 11.15ish for me.

  104. King Eric says:

Hey up fitb. Aint seen you much recently, How’s tricks?

Hello Cedars, NRD, Mike, Willie and so on!

  105. King Eric says:

    fitb – Quality at 19.06!

  106. Mikekelly12 says:

    Cedars
I always wondered why he brought a walking cane into platts! The Earl of Sandwich’s favourite song, 1000 miles by the proclaimers!!

  107. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Cedars – Too many away games, unless I get luck tomorrow. Could have done being in the cup would have had a home tie. Oh well.

  108. Mikekelly12 says:

    Fergie is the boss
Very good analogy pal! And like all steroid users, they become cocky, bolshy and aggressive with false perceptions of grandeur whilst all the while denying that they use steroids, and this is their fans.

  109. CedarsDevil says:

    Sir Alex

‘The Earl of Sandwich will give the scousers hell on Saturday, no doubt about that’

  110. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Hows it going King Eric. Hope all is well with the Mrs and the baby. Not that I need to tell you or any of the lads but give suarez shit from me. Specifically call him a racist, bucktooth chipmunk.

  111. CedarsDevil says:

    NRD

Never mind my friend, looks like you and me will be looking in from a distance……. I am sure the OT faithful and not to mention the RoM fellas will do us proud…….

    Come ON UNITED

I am so pumped up for this one

  112. Mikekelly12 says:

    NRD
Sorry to hear you won’t make it pal. Oh yes, that little fucker will get it both barrels but the best way to ram those MASSIVE FUCKING TEETH down his throat is to bang a shit load of goals in the dipper net!! Hated seeing the racist prick jumping up and down at Anfield when Kuyt scored!!

  113. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Cheers lads. Quite annoyed really had a mate of mine use my membership number for every league game since cit-eh bar a couple. He got most of them through the ballot the rest he just rung up. Still one more day left maybe theres a miracle. If anything changes I’ll post it on here otherwise I’m done for the season.

  114. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

King Eric – Risky move with number mate :???: You should have emailed him.

  115. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der Der der Der Der Der der Der Der racist bastard

  116. fergie is the boss says:

King Eric – hey yea doing well, been busy etc and at times CBA to comment, when it can be lead by trolls. I will always sometimes make the odd rant when united should really buck up their idea’s, but I will always comment on here. When the shitty comment was made with money etc, the roid analogy popped up, so from now on tell any shitty fan, we may have payed top cash for players, but we never needed the roids to buy myself into the elite.More roids more success for them LOL

  117. Costas says:

    Hi all.

    @Notorious

I sure hope you get to go to OT again this season. It’s probably a long shot that we will wrap up the league title 2 games before the season ends, but maybe you should try getting a ticket for the Swansea game. At best, you will witness the trophy presentation. At worst, you could witness Scholes’ last OT game.

(Until our injury crisis in midfield brings him out of retirement in January of 2013 :P )

  118. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    Clint

Don’t worry mate we fill these boards so quickly that message will be lost in the masses within the hour.

  119. Costas says:

    @Notorious

Ah never mind. Just saw your 2nd post where you said that it will be hard to find tickets for any other games this season. Hope that isn’t the case.

  120. CedarsDevil says:

    Giggs12

That’s what I am taking about……. Get the K stand rocking and give that racist cunt hell…..

K stand barmy army… all the way

  121. WillieRedNut says:

King Eric – Evening pal. Heard fat Rafa wants the England job? Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse….

  122. lebomanc says:

    Hey everyone…
Can’t wait for the game on saturday, and I really wanna see the reception the racist bastard gets at OT!
Anyways any updates on the injuries? All I know is that cleverley might be back but that was said too many times

  123. Mikekelly12 says:

    Clint
King Eric doesn’t give a fuck! Haha

  124. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

I fucking buzz of big games like this, as much as hate the scousers none of us can deny the fixture is one we all love to watch.

    I’m a little confused Harry.

So am I jeff it looks like I’ll have to start another game.

Well that’s not a bad idea is it Harry?

Well Jeff I mean when you look at it I mean you know if I buy all those players again I don’t want to get done for a court case I should never have been done for in the first place you know? I mean HM revenue will bloody start a court case against me just cause I made some money from some sales and put the account in some unknown bank somewhere in the world. Can’t have that stress you know Jeff…

    Harry it’s a game

Well Jeff it’s more than a game now isn’t it you know?

What about the England job now Harry?

Well Jeff I really want the United job but Alex just won’t go will he?

So you don’t want the England job?

    Well I’ve already got it

    Oh?

Yeah I mean everyone wants me to do it so I’ve got it.

But you haven’t got it really have yoy Harry?

I for one fucking love you………. That was hilarious

  129. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Theres a racist in the town
And were going to track him down
Were gonna hang Suarez from upon the highest tree
So all you scouse bastards can see.

  130. lebomanc says:

  132. Mikekelly12 says:

    MG
Evening pal, I hope all is well!
    Giggs12
We will build a watch tower!

  133. smartalex says:

Welcome home MG! Good evening brother, now that you have prodigiously returned!

  134. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Costas. Cheers mate. I’m going to sound bitter like Roy Keane now but thing about our club is the fans only want to go to the big games OR if theres a chance of seeing the PL trophy. I doubt I’ll get Swansea tickets even if I was able to go. Same thing happened to me when we played Barcelona in the semis didn’t get a ticket despite having a season ticket.

I’ve spoken to fair weather United fans in the past when they ask me How I get tickets and ask me to help them out…IF its a BIG Game. Winds me up that. I would have been there on Saturday even if we were playing Northwich Victoria. All of a sudden we have a big game and fans who couldn’t be bothered to show up for stoke or show their voices for blackburn want in.

If I don’t get any tomorrow I promise not to moan and be a good boy.

  135. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Funny as fuck MG. Good to see you back.

  136. WillieRedNut says:

Have a real good moan Notorious! :P Everyone else does!

  137. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

    NRD

Mate it pisses me off as well the high viz wearing brigade tell you to sit down game after game then come a big game and you can do what the fuck you want. In not being funny but I sing whether were playing City or fucking Wigan

  138. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

It’s the north stand that ruins it, people there just for the game and enjoy the view…..what happened to a bouncing stretty and K stand…its fas like MikeKelly12 ruin it.

  139. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

And mad foreigners pissed up on schnapps streaking with their Lebanese balls hanging out…

  140. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

And weird denim jacket wearing cunts covered in badges

  141. James21 says:

    Giggs 12
    Ignore them. :D

Welcome home MG. Good post :D

So do these figures mean anything?

    Bring on the Job Dodgers.

  142. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Willierednut. When I said any I meant sex not United tickets
If I don’t get tickets tomorrow I will moan all day long. Nobody will compare to my moaning. Anybody else will not be allowed to moan!!!!

@ Giggs12Gerrard0 – Had a momma wag wannabe with high heels and sunglasses like that at the chelksi league game last season. As for the singing, the looks you get from some people when you sing its ridiculous. I’m singing, getting behind the team…its called supporting your team. They really need to have one whole section dedicated to noise at OT. Can’t comment on Stretford End only been in there 3 times.

  143. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Or green and gold scarf wearers shopping in the fucking mega store

  144. WillieRedNut says:

    James – I prefer jammie dodgers. ;)

  145. Pratyush says:

    @NRD

That’s not necessarily true. There are tons of United fans who live overseas ( like me) who would kill to get a seat at OT for even a single game, be it against Crawley or against Liverpool.

On the other hand, some fans might not have too much money, and would only like to see a footy match where they’d be guaranteed entertainment from all the top stars, who might be rested for the smaller games.

  146. CedarsDevil says:

Giggs12 has gone mental…..Fucking love it

  147. WillieRedNut says:

Notorious – :D Checked out that film? Snoop and cube in it? Sounds good.

  148. Sandeep1878 says:

    Hello all,

    MG…fuck u for staying away from ROM :P …Just kidding :)

    Hope you are well pal..

and all you Platt mates, expect something!!!..have fun and get stuck in behind the lads..

    time for the sack..

    Good night reds and ROM…

  149. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

The worst and i mean the absolute fucking worst thing is the half and half team scarfs. I’m taking a fucking pair of scissors and cut the bastard things in half. It’s not fucking hard decide which team you confused cunts

  150. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

    MG !!!!!

Oh thank God your back, that interview was finger licking chicken finger frickingly good.

  151. Mikekelly12 says:

    Giggs12
I’m bringing my rugby ball to the dippers game! Gonna bring some opera to the north stand too with a nice falsetto piece evoking memories of victories from bygone years.

  152. WillieRedNut says:

Still waiting on sachu/2012/redmeg/jasonpark/capo’s dossier on smartalex?

  153. JC says:

No doubt at all Giggs12, they tried to sell me one of those eyesores at the Chicago Fire V United match this summer and I was like why the fuck would I want a Chicago Fire scarf Im here to see United. So I made the douche dig all over the store and he finally came up with a solo United scarf… :D

  154. Vilhelm28 says:

As for the moneylist, anyone know how it will affect this years tur over and profits that United got knocked out in the group stage and that United failed to win games? I fear that United will drop quit a bit on next years list due to this. I know Euro league doesnt pay anything near CL football.

  155. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

SAF compares Tony V to Andrei Kanchelskis.

“Antonio has been fantastic,” Sir Alex told Inside United. “He’s such a tough guy and a powerful lad, and his work-rate and understanding of the game is terrific.

“He’s a better player than Kanchelskis. He’s got better footballing ability. Andrei was more of a runner who looked to run in behind defenders, whereas Antonio can involve himself in the possession and thread through passes and beat men.”

  156. bobbycharlie1968 says:

My first post in a while, been absolutely snowed under at work. Extra long rant for you all to read to make up for my brief absence. Nothing like a bit of JT bashing is there? Absolute fucking monstrously wide and hairy cunt that he is, going to talk about La Liga, the league where 18 teams help two teams win, first though.

How the fuck can Real and Barca be allowed to negotiate their own TV deals? It is fucking outrageous and always has been. Consider the fact that the Spanish FA/La Liga actually are allowing them to disadvantage not only other teams through lack of transfer funds, but damaging most of the clubs in Spain? Fair enough that they are two very established clubs (they’re both cunts in how they go about their business, especially transfers) and they are very good teams, not quite the unstoppable force and immovable object that they’re always made out to be. But it’s killing the club game in Spain. People might say Real and Barca are on another planet, but it’s mostly down to these TV deals. Beyond Latin America and the states (and Spain obviously) I’ve not encountered hordes of madridistas or loads of los cules fans (playing football manager while writing this, los cuntos is more like it) across the world, and I’ve been to a fair few places in my time. We have fans EVERYWHERE. Imagine how much money we would make from the Asian market alone?!?!? Billions. Anyways, they’re fucking with the club game in Spain and making it a shite league with two fantastic teams. How fun is that? Praying that your team gets a giant killing once a season. Even Valencia Sevilla and Villareal have dropped off the radar now. The trophy laser engraver just has to prepare for either Real Madrid C.F or F.C Barcelona for La Liga and the Copa del cunt. Look at our league in comparison, which is much stronger and has better viewing figures and fans around the world. Realistically 5 teams could regularly challenge for the title (omitting Liverpool for 22 obvious reasons) and even more for cups. Fucks sake, CARDIFF are in the final of the Carling Cup! Who the fuck are Cardiff?!? You’d never see Hercules or Zaragoza doing the same would you? Even if they did make it to the final, barring a bunch of freak results, Real or Barca would lie in wait and destroy them with their second team (Real I mean, Barca have no second team to speak of). Fucking outrageous if you ask me. Imagine if the year that we renew our kit sponsorship that we somehow negotiated our own TV rights deal. We would probably make double what Real or Barca make. I don’t think we should sell our TV rights, rather Barca and the facists should revoke theirs. However, who’s going to throw money away like that? In which case I’m all for United getting their own for the most part.

Now. Where do we start with Capello, England, Redknapp and Sir John of bitching, captaincy obsessed, racially uneducated, affair partaking, drug dealing dad, mum’s a thief, crying in the rain, jeremy kyle show pin up Terry. Eurgh. I can’t stand the fucking cunt. I genuinely hope he is brutally assassinated. I’m not a violent person (hard to believe) but I have so much hatred for this fucking disgusting piece of slime that I can’t help but wish a long, slow and painful death upon him. Would probably do his kids a favour to be honest. I can just see them, “I want to be like daddy when I grow up mummy!” “awww, a professional footballer who fancies himself as Mr. Chelsea even though he supported United growing up and angled for a move to City?” “No don’t be silly mummy, a brain dead cunt who is obsessed with being captain, a scummy fucker who shags my mates bird and selling my assets (private box, england captain marketing) for profit!” “wow little Terry! that makes you sound like a fucking dirty whore!”. Poor little bastards. Because he didn’t step down as captain, because don’t you know, he bleeds england, Capello, who is just as much of a dolmio faced cunt, resigns. Don’t get me wrong, can’t stand England and the FA, will support them during a major tournament, but only just. How am I meant to support the aforementioned cunt, the thug formerly known as Gerrard, “I can throw up in this cab and not pay, don’t you fucking know who I am?” Cole and other massive twats like Wilshere, good player but he’s just a little shit isn’t he? If “JT” (Just Tears?) loved his country and his national side so much, he would have stepped down. Innocent until proven guilty, but you’ve still got more or less a fucking criminal conviction over your head. Step the fuck down you massive cunt. But no, he bleeds leadership (I wish he would bleed enough to lose a substantial amount of blood) so why should he? Never mind that the manager will resign and your team will be a shambles heading into the Euros. Christ, what a fucking senseless Captain Loser Lesbian Cunt. And Redknapp for England? HA! No denying he’s done well at Spurs, but he’s never won a title, he’s never consistently won silverware, yes he’s performed small miracles (Portsmouth 2009 with a lot of help from a CUNT of a referee), but c’mon. He’s managed Bournemouth, Portsmouth and Southampton before Spurs. And Spurs had potential anyway. In other words, I might as well apply with my Football Manager CV. Not to mention he looks like he’s going to have a stroke at any minute. If he actually wins something with England he might die. Would be a fucking hilarious ending to this whole saga. But here’s to the lesbian haircutted king of the chavs being locked away for his racism. I’m praying it’s for life.

The GG scarf wearers in the megastore. :D Inside the ground drinking Glazer beer and eating Glazer pies all wrapped in GG hats, scarves and Tee shirts.

  159. Pratyush says:

But won’t we be the biggest thing in the Europa League (or UEFA Cup ) in a long time? That alone would boost the revenue we get from the Europa League. Plus I think a United-City final would be bigger than the CL final. We are after all the biggest club in the world.

  160. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

Another great rant mate. Completely agree on the Spanish shit. My friend who supports United and Madrid ( Dunno how that works…) points to the fact that the same no. of teams have won the EPL as La Liga in the last decade and then says that La Liga is as competitive. I just tell him to shut the f*** up and get a brain.

  166. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@Pratyush – All due respect mate I was on about supporters who live in England. The thing about big games doesn’t wash with me unless you want to see the stars of the opposition. As far as I’m aware we pretty much play the strongest team possible in league games unless we have injuries or a quick run of league games a la X-Mas period. As for the money thing can buy into that now with how much our tickets are but this isn’t a recent trend its been going on for years. No qualms about fans who come from abroad, having spent time in Japan the way the PL is addressed compared to England really is chalk and cheese.

Agreed about the half and half scarves never made any sense to me that. Same goes with the Green and Gold, very few actually understood the campaign the minute I saw dozens of Green and Gold wearers walk out the megastore with merchandise I stopped wearing mine. I’ll buy match tickets and thats it, no shirts, no programmes, no pies, no beer no fruit gums.
@Vilhelm – Well the club are selling season tickets for the remainder of the season and have a installment policy in place as well so you don’t have to pay in one go, works out at £40 per ticket. They’ve never done that before. They seem to know how to maximise match day revenue to the max.

@WillieRedNut- Good. thought you might like it.

  177. Mikekelly12 says:

    Willie
Evening pal. The argument for these scarfs is that it’s a memento of the game, to remember the occasion. If that was the case it’d probably be safer buying it post game, who the fuck would want to remember that bayern game!!!

  178. WillieRedNut says:

Mike – No need for a half and half scarf to remember that game! :)

  179. James21 says:

    What game? :D

  180. Mikekelly12 says:

    Willie
Thought you meant the bayern game year before last…. Didn’t read the post properly. Still, point still applies. Imagine someone biying a bitters/united scarf at OT this year!?

Damn losing the UCL money is going to widen the gap even further. I’m all for a fair league where tv rights are equally shared, but you have to wonder whether to a certain extent it my set us back in Europe as almost all the bigger teams in the other major European leagues can negotiate their own tv rights…not certain of the Bundesliga though. it’d be great if the other leagues followed suit but till that happens, IF it ever does it definitely is a disadvantage for United as we’d be unstoppable if the PL stance on equal tv rights changed. It doesnt need to be as extreme as La Liga where the top 2 teams get 50% but a slightly larger slice of the pie would be nice…sigh.

Jeet & NRD – won’t go accusing you guys of being sexist because there aren’t too many girls (esp from the Indian subcontinent) who are really into football or “get it” & even most of the ones who watch it mostly do cause so-&-so player is hot & then they leave the club & they turn into Real Madrid fans (ugh) but not all of us are like that! Lol it’d be nice if i had any females friends that helped my point but sadly i dont :) & NRD I see absolutely nothing wrong in “being too aggressive in your support” (esp if all u were doing is shouting at ur tv!!!) I’ve destroyed my surroundings before many a time in celebration (maybe in frustruation as well…which my poor phone had to bear the brunt of!)!

    @Notorious

Always moan mate. Take it from me, the more you supress it, the more it will eventually come out with a vengeance. :)

You know it’s a very weird set of rules regarding match tickets. Like the Barca game you mentioned. How can you not attend a game if you have a season ticket? I am guessing they don’t apply to European games. But there has to be a priority list where season ticket holders come first. Nonetheless, another suggestion I have is if you try your luck in a Europa League game (if the same restrictions don’t apply there). Who knows? You might end up going to a semi final tie against Man City…

  224. WillieRedNut says:

    Night Mike and Giggs12!

  225. sheppertonni says:

Loving all this suarez hatred! the more shit he gets the more chance he’ll fuck off to spain.

  226. James21 says:

    Costas
I had the same problem as NRD. I obtained another season ticket for 1 season. No one wanted the Stoke, Wigan, Blackburn games but as soon as Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool and Shitty games were on offer I could have sold them 5 times over. We have to buy our seat/ticket for Home Champs league and FA cup games, these are compulsory and extra cost. You can opt out of the Carling Cup and this year The Europa. Think you had to opt out of Europa by early Jan.
Never had a problem getting games when I was a member until we played the above so called top teams where I’d rarely get one.

  227. MG says:

Well it’s nice to be back and thanks to everyone for the welcome back!

In the time gone losing a football game hasn’t been as bad as the news that came by on a personal level and stayed for over a week – it was hard to digest and difficult to deal with and the momentary pause and reflection that everyone offered here was really heartening.

You cannot replace a heart and you cannot match souls but the connection that Manchester United gives speaks volumes and breaks boundaries like nothing else.

We are all on a journey and somehow one connection that we share brings us binding together from wherever we seem to be.

There is much to learn about ourselves and much to admire, there are things that when we see together mean a whole lot more when we try to see things by ourselves. We maybe then are great alone but we are greater still together.

Of course in this time gone their has been a healing process, and I bow to my friends for their unreserved
    support and inspiration.

Things that cannot be seen have no right to be a part of our lives but sometimes when the crosroads have to be passed they just has to be passed – at times it’s better to cross a crossroad with those that can lift you, hold a hand on your shoulder.

February 6th has passed too and one more year goes down into history.

But we all get to do something about it – we all get to put a hand on each of our shoulders and connect.

And ultimately this world becomes a better place when there is no one left standing alone.

I love my club beyond words and sometimes I think that these words are not enough to make good of what I want to express, but I am what I am because there are those out there somewhere that make me better.

The sum of all our parts begins and ends with Manchester United and that is probably the greatest thing that we have.

We can lose a game, but that spirit that belief, that relentless drive to move on to stand up to carry on cannot be matched.

Light a way United, because no matter whatever happens to you, we will be with you through anything and everything.

Breaking news – Most of the Ajax board including Johan Cryuff, Edgar Davids and Danny blind (who’s son Daley is in the first team) have all resigned over the appointment of Van Gaal as general manager. Turmoil at that club could mean good news for us as I expect a reserve side to play on Thursday.

@ Jellybean . Cheers, all i was doing was shouting at the TV never done much more than that really. Maybe English born women don’t really know what aggression is, we are after all a nation that has turned soft.

@ Costas – Probably right about that, picked up a few bad/good habits over dealing with things that wind me up over in Japan. Been back here a few days and still getting back into that English way of life. The Barca game was a club balls up, because away allocations and matches for UEFA delegates increase per round it forced some season ticket holders to be put in a ballot. They contacted me by email when I didn’t have a computer by the time my mate and I found out all tickets sold out. Same thing happened that season with l’arse in the cup but fortunately we managed to get some 3 days before the game. Told them they should send a text out as not everyone can get to their email. To the clubs credit they do send texts out I would like to think it was because of me but the Barca balls up that very season thinks its unlikely.

  233. Costas says:

    @James21

Thanks pal. You clarified it quite a bit. I got confused because over here, you get one season ticket for all home games, regardless of the competition. The whole thing doesn’t do OT’s atmosphere any favors imo. I know it’s a touchy subject at times, but I do wish there was a way more passionate reds filled the ground each week. We need a more vocal support, as it’s been evident this season.

  236. Costas says:

    @Notorious

Cheers. Personally I’ve never owned a season ticket, but I find it kind of shity that a holder could find themselves in the position you did against Barcelona. Season tickets shouldn’t come with asterisks imo. They could have reduced the number of Barcelona’s travelling fans. Not going to say the same about the delegates. Fat chance that was going to happen. On the other hand, it’s the kind of problem this club faces due to its enormous fan base. And that’s on top of Manchester being blue.

  237. WillieRedNut says:

The ticking system is a real eyeball seesaw.

  238. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Furthermore Costas must have applied for 50 away games through the club guess how many out of that I’ve got (only season ticket holders can apply).

  239. Costas says:

Apparently Rio made some sort of comment on twitter that the next England manager should be British and that they don’t need anything else lost in translation. And of course he suggested Harry Redknapp. After Rooney, another one of our lads that has handled this in a disappointing fashion. It’s not their job to demand who gets the job. Plus, all this campaigning for Redknapp just makes me more certain that they won’t someone that will tolerate the circus like atmosphere of the England camp.

I get Rio’s frustration with Capello. I really do. But since when is language an issue? Rehagel didn’t know how to speak any Greek, but that didn’t stop Greece winning the Euro? The problem is elsewhere and it translates in all language: England have many overrated players.

    @Notorious

None? It must be like a lottery I assume.

  240. Costas says:

Tom could be on the bench on Saturday according to reports. Smalling and Jones are trying to be ready for Ajax though. Jones’ absence was to be expected, but Smalling’s injury came out of nowhere. Again.

    @willie

We’ll see if this was a significant move in the Pogba saga. The boy seems to be pretty happy at the club right now. And Fergie said they were trying to sign a new contract. However, he made plenty of similar comments when Tevez’s loan deal was coming to an end. Point being, the negotiations could easily fail no matter how much good faith both parties show.

  241. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Just 1 Costas. A solitary one. Makes you wonder lottery or no lottery thats a piss poor return.

Agree with you about lost in translation stuff. In my opinion a lot of English people have the attitude speak English or else. The England squad is hardly full of scholars. There’s a very xenophobic attitude in regards to certain things and its done very subtly.

Didn’t post in on here because didn’t give a fuck but when Ramsey said the players should be consulted over who the next Wales manger should be I thought that was a load of bollocks. Your job is to play and thats it. He’s not even a senior pro for fucks sake.

Capello was a good manager (You don’t win 9 league titles by being crap) perhaps not for England, his legacy will be tarnished by one game and if that Lampard goal had stood the Germans weren’t coming back. I digress though his man management skills at time have been shambolic. The Beckham fiasco at Madrid was a joke and made him look like a fool then you had the Rio as Captain debacle. He may have took Terry back but the majority of the nation especially the media wanted him back in as well. He also did bring through young players its wrong to bring too many through at the same time and although not a popular figure on here used Parker ahead of Fat Frank at times. The Barry selection does bemuse me.

Like others said yesterday don’t really care who it is, just don’t want any United players in the set up. UNITED>ingurland

  242. King Eric says:

Willie. Of course its bullshit. Its the Nazi Mail.

NRD. Yeah good thanks mate. Little man almost sleeping right through now. Getting much easier with each passing day. Hope you are well. Regarding the “big games“ the lad who runs North Yorks Supp Club fucking hates the fact the coach is rammed for these games but can barely half fill it for the likes of Wigan etc. So much so when we get on the coach he has a pop by saying to said offenders “must be a big game today eh“. I don’t subscribe to this “oh I aint off to fa cup game as it will be second team“ bollocks. I like watching United whoever dons the shirt.

Oh those half and half scarves get my fucking back up. Especially when its dippers or city. Good day Reds!

Here’s how The Sun are reporting the Season Ticket deal discussed by James21 etc. above:

‘Manchester United are offering fans tickets to tomorrow’s grudge match against Liverpool to try to ensure Old Trafford is full for the title run-in. United sent a text message to all non-season ticket holders yesterday to make the shock offer. The Liverpool game would be part of a package covering all of United’s remaining home league matches.’

  259. Costas says:

    @Notorious

In terms of stricly results, Capello’s record was very good. And no doubt that things might have been different if Lampard’s goal had counted. I heard a lot about the style of play, but that’s debatable. These players aren’t world beaters anyway. Most of the big English clubs depend on foreign players for their creativity. United are the only exception because of Rooney. But no talented English wingers out there. Liverpool have Downing, Arsenal have Walcott, Chelsea have no one, City have Johnson (he’s good, but can’t seem to take it to the next level) and we have Ashley Young. That’s not a knock on Young. I like him as a player. But it’s not easy for him being in the shadow of Nani and Valencia.

I was a fan of Capello personally. Until that Egypt game where he kept Rooney out there for 87 minutes. That kickstarted his injury problems that proved so costly against Chelsea and Bayern in 2010.

  264. smartalex says:

I have total respect for Roy Keane. His views are clear, intelligent and forthright.

“Capello is a strong character and obviously thought his authority was questioned with John Terry losing the captaincy,” Keane stated last night. “You’ve got to admire him. He stuck to his guns. They went over his head, taking the captaincy off Terry. Obviously they’ve asked him to apologize and he’s gone.”

“Regardless of who comes in, people need to stop placing such importance on the captaincy because it looks like it’s an obsession in England.”

“Terry had a press conference when he was made captain, David Beckham had a press conference to announce he was standing down as captain – and cried! Give me a break!”

“It’s a big ego trip and it shouldn’t be about being popular with your team-mates. It should be because you are respected by them and as a reward for your service. Nothing more, nothing less.”

“What worries me are the likes of Wayne Rooney and Rio Ferdinand coming out and saying Harry should get the job”

“Some players are going on about how great Fabio Capello was, which was odd because they seemed to be saying different things in private. And whatever happened to players keeping their heads down?”

Roy Keane speaks his truth in no uncertain terms.
In my opinion Roy is right.

The FA cannot chose to prevent a player from being captain.
They do however have full authority to determine who is eligible for the squad.
If they don’t want Terry to be Captain, they must make him ineligible entirely.
Players should not publicly express their views on potential Managers, or Captains.

The Manager choses the players, not vice-versa.

  265. CedarsDevil says:

Good morning my friend….. Keane does say it like it is and always has done. However there are times when he is best advised not to say anything, like the time when he publicly criticized his own team mates which eventually brought an end to his United career. Since then he has also had various bitter digs at the club including Sir Alex….. Loved him as our captain however I have no feelings towards him now whatsoever

    Good morning! Happy Match-day-eve!

I think that Keane’s views should be considered. If I disagree with some of his views, it won’t stop me from carefully studying his next surprising expression, for I regularly find him insightful and intelligent. There have been views of his that i’ve disliked, but I differ from most in that I believe that Sir Alex does not feel in any way disrespected or violated by Roy. In fact, Sir Alex doesn’t expect Roy, Ole, David and Eric to have similar views or to express them identically. I’ll bet that Fergie devours all Keano’s words in the press, but never reads a sentence of Becks.

Of course, in each and every instance I back Sir Alex. Not that he needs me!

The Blues want to spend £100m transforming a run-down 80-acre plot near the ground – but progress threatens to be stalled by Mr O’Brien’s refusal to leave.

We got there at 8 fucking AM and were first in line at the ticket window, this was on Boxing day, freezing as fuck and non stop rain. around noon, the line behind us was a mile long. 09:45 Sir Alex’s press conference at Carrington has just finished. Here are the main points:

    * Tom Cleverley will be involved in some capacity against Liverpool tomorrow. “He’s training well at the moment.”

    * Chris Smalling could also be available, although no other players are expected to retirn.

    * The Liverpool game will come too soon for Phil Jones but Sir Alex says he’ll take the young defender to Holland next week for the Europa League tie against Ajax.

    * On Saturday’s Liverpool match: “We expect a hard game tomorrow but I’m just looking for the sort of performance we’ve been showing recently. That should help us.”

He added: “You should try to get the best man with the best qualities. A young manager has no chance. I tried it myself with Scotland in Mexico. I found it very difficult.”

In a back alley in the Anfield area of Liverpool, flowers and tributes were left where the body of a mystery dead baby was found – before police realised it was only a chicken.

A member of the public discovered the remains. Police cordoned off the scene but soon realised that it was not a human but a chicken.

Merseyside Police told the community on Monday to “stop grieving, it’s only a chicken”.

Conservative MP and editor of The Spectator Boris Johnson was criticised last year after commenting in the magazine that Liverpudlians were “hooked on grief”.

  294. smartalex says:

Sir Alex Ferguson said: “Ryan is a marvellous player. In many ways, he epitomises all my teams here at United: he has constantly re-invented himself, adapted to the changing nature of the game and retained that desire and hunger for success.

“In every training session and match, he is the example for others to follow. The young players in the dressing room have a great chance to learn from a player who will continue to break records that anyone in the game will find hard to beat.”

Giggs added: “When I signed my first contract, I never thought I’d be able to play at United for 22 years, but I feel good and I know I can still contribute to keeping the team pushing for honours.

“Winning the club’s 19th title was a great feeling but this club is all about what we do next and I’m really pleased I can be part of that.”

Well done giggsy, keep it up lad!

  304. Jeet says:

@Saad: If there’s an article with that sort of a title, I’m sure it’s a windup. Most probably written by a Leeds fan.

  305. smartalex says:

SAF’s quote at 10:12 is slightly misleading through BBC edits.

  313. Saad says:

I hope Giggsy goes for three targets:

1000 appearances (should get there in 3 more seasons after this one)
Playing until age 40 (will get there at the early part of the 2013-2014 season)
Playing 25 seasons at United (3 more seasons after this one)

It’ll be a stretch, but hey, why not?

  314. Costas says:

    @kanchelskis

Who knows? There are a lot of things in his situation that don’t add up. He went under the knife last November (even though no one saw him actually get injured during the Galati game at OT). He was supposed to be out until the end of February, yet returned in early January. We didn’t get the full story about his absence then. My theory is that he was taken out of the firing line because he was out of shape and was then rushed back when our problems in midfield intensified. But we never got the full story then and I don’t think we will now. At some point he’ll just pop up again and then disappear again after 3-4 games.

  315. kanchelskis says:

    @Costas

    So bizarre, int it?

It’s got to the stage now where giving up on him isn’t really an option. For all his potential, he’s not shown enough in terms of durability or consistency for anyone else to stump up a transfer fee or match his wage bill. With Scholesy tiding us over at least til the end of the season, and Cleverly back hopefully for good this time, let’s hope that Ando gets the full time he needs to recover from whatever setback he’s suffered – be it psychological or physical. If this means aiming for the start of next season, then quite frankly so be it. In his current state, he’s no great loss to us. But I really want to see him back to his best and nailing down a spot.

  316. zelh says:

Welbeck’s face beams as he relives the moment. “I received the ball from [Dimitar] Berbatov and I played a one-two with Manucho and it was just sub-conscious … the shot was sweet, into the top corner. When the ball went in, that feeling … if that feeling was a drug I would be dead!” he says laughing. “I’ve never had that feeling again, not to that extent. It was surreal. I saw my brother, Chris, in the stand and he was virtually doing cartwheels down the stairs.”

His idea is that City would then have to negotiate with each plot owner, or alternatively get the Council/Government/Courts to force each plot holder to sell. The downside is that his sales to a many-headed United group will likely be blocked in the deeds office long enough for City to force him to sell direct to them.

  331. kanchelskis says:

    Gem from the Welbz interview:

His football ability caught the eye from a young age, although it is interesting to learn that Manchester City allowed him to slip through their fingers. “I was trialling with City at the age of eight,” says Welbeck. “But just before Christmas they told my dad: ‘He’s not good enough.’

HAHA! City you mugs. They’ve let Welbeck AND Sturridge – potentially England’s strike partnership for a long time to come – slip through their fingers!

Still, why pay £0 for a strike pairing when you can pay £60m instead, eh?

  332. Jeet says:

    @James: What’s “honest”?

  333. Red Nation says:

    Team for the scum;

    DDG
    Rafael Rio Evans Evra
    Valencia Giggs Carrick Park
    Rooney Hernandez

    Subs;
Amos, Smalling, Fabio, SCHOLES, CLEVERLEY, Young, WELBECK
(Caps lock for those coming off the bench)

    Pool could play;

    Reina
    Jonson Agger Squirtle Enrique
    Adam Gerrard Henderson
    Kuyt Suarez Downing

Subs; Doni, Carragher,Kelly, Aurelio, Spearing, Bellamy, Carol.

( saw on a liverpool site they call us scum LOL they are 1st on the list of scum ahead of rapists)

  334. kanchelskis says:

    @Red Nation

    Park?

That’s showing them too much respect. I don’t want to see us absorbing and playing on the counter in this game. We’ll get stung. All out attack – Young on that wing.

  335. smartalex says:

    ex BBC

United have included both Nemanja Vidic and Darren Fletcher in their 38-man Europa League squad even though both players have been ruled out for the season. Hope sprigs eternal.

  336. smartalex says:

    A sprig of evergreen hope!

  337. wayne says:

Longevity at the highest level is a remarkable achievement and must put Giggs in the bracket of one of the best ever.Who should be rated higher a player who shows out of this world skills over a five or six year period or a player who mantains a high level of skill over 23yrs

  338. smartalex says:

On de Gea, Sir Alex said: “I don’t know if any other goalkeeper in the country would have saved that shot from (Juan) Mata. His speed and agility is outstanding.”

“David knows he had a bad day against Liverpool in the cup. But goalkeepers can have those days. Last week’s performance will help. He saved us a point. When you get a free-kick with the last kick of the game and your goalkeeper makes a save like that, you have to say it’s a point saved.”

  339. Red Nation says:

    Kanchelskis –

Park is an outstanding player, that can pick out out a great pass and is lethal in front of goal, how many clear cut chances does he miss when in the box?
Park is the man who scored at Anfield and scored the winner at OT in 2010 if you have forgotten and is does multiple roles attacking and defending.
He is twice the player Young is defending and triple the player Young is attacking wise.
Young is the last player we want anywhere near the 1st team tbh. We was 3-0 down because of him and Evra’s performance on the left. We took him off and viola 3-3.
Young is not yet ready for a game of this magnitude nor does he have the ability or strength for such a physical battle.
Park is one of the 1st on the teamsheet.

  340. Utd4life says:

First off, congratulations to Sir Ryan Giggs on signing a new deal. The man is a bloody machine. It really wouldn’t surprise me if he continue playing till SAF retires. The man has looked after himself very very well. LEGEND.

Secondly, what a lovely interview by Danny Welbeck. The lad is mancunian through and through and I never for once believed that contract bullshit. SAF knows how valuable he is and will reward him suitably.

  341. kanchelskis says:

    Red Nation says:

Park is [...] triple the player Young is attacking wise.

    ______________________________________________________________________

I stopped reading then. Put the crackpipe down before you come a-postin’.

A lot of love for Park, but to suggest that he is a better attacking option than Young is absurd.

  342. Utd4life says:

I agree with Red Nation. I too would play Park ahead of Young that is if Nani is not fit. Besides, Park is a BIG game player. And I would start Welbeck ahead of Hernandez. For me, Hernandez is more deadly when used as a sub. His movement is a pain the ass for weary defenders. Bring on Scholes and Cleverley later on to provide more headache for the scousers. But bottom line is- we just have to beat the Scousers no matter what. I’ll be highly disappointed with anything other a win.

  343. Jeet says:

No point arguing that one – it’s going to be Nani

  344. Red Nation says:

Utd4life – I agree with your whole statement, Chicharito is a great sub but he deserves to start. Its unfair towards him if he scores every game as a sub and doesn’t get a start. I hope Javier starts.

    Kanchelskis-
Park is better than Young in every aspect of a footballers ability. Hell the only winger that takes Park close in our squad is Valencia because he is the complete winger minus a left foot. As you can tell, I don’t rate Young much, he’s decent cover for a injured Nani,Park,Valencia but to start ahead of them is absurd, he’s a Villa-quality player that was bought based on a suggestion that £15m is a bargain. He’s only improved our squad depth in the wingers area.

Park will be key for the match. If Young starts, it sends a positve attacking message but in reality will be a detriment to our performance, the Chelsea and pre-new years match are clear evidence. Why is he burnt out?

  345. Jeet says:

Frankly, I have to agree that for a match like this Park > Young

  346. kanchelskis says:

    @Jeet

Pretty sure Nani’s not fit mate.

    @Red Nation

Right – either Ashley Young once nobbed your sister, or Park saved her life. Or something.

Young is faster. He’s more skilful. He’s better at set pieces. He’s a better crosser. He can shoot from range better.

Btw, are you also suggesting that Park is better than Nani? Cos that really does take the piss in a rather big way.

  347. WillieRedNut says:

All i know is, Park is a big game player. We should give Young the chance to get match fit, before we judge him. He was out for an extended period.

  348. Paul Parker says:

@Jeet – not sure if i need to say but there was nothing personal with my post mate. Im just saying I don’t count foreign football fans with more than one EPL shirt as “glory hunters”. There was a thread on here about people who support two Clubs and it divided opinion. Personally I never have and never would wear any Club shirt but United, but I know people who wear Club shirts based on where their families come from – Scotland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, etc. Half the time they don’t even follow every game of their “second team”, but because of their reasons for wearing the shirt I wouldn’t call them glory hunters. In the same way, most football fans in Asia, Africa and elsewhere have local teams they follow first and foremost, so I personally don’t really mind them picking a second team from the superior Leagues of Europe, if any thing I respect them for building up their own inferior leagues – as after all the English League was inferior to those on the Continent for yeeeears, just look at the list of European Cup winners. I’d call a glory hunter somebody IN ENGLAND who claims to be a loyal supporter of (for example) Liverpool this season and then claims they are a loyal supporter of Manchester City the following season. Thing is Pal I haven’t come across anybody like that since Primary school thats why I made the point! I don’t actually know anybody I’d call a glory hunter, as all the City and Chelsea fans I know have always supported those clubs heavily (and I’ve always been on their necks about it haha)

@NRD – made me laugh about your gang banging old man! And thats “gang banging” as in gun crime not anything else untoward haha.

    @Willierednut – cheers pal.

Fuck me I can’t wait for tomorrow! Laters Reds.

  349. dannysoya says:

does anyone know if Nani is back? CLEVERLEEEYYYYYYY. YESSSSS!!!!!

  350. Jeet says:

    @kanshelskis: shit. no Nani? shit.

The reason I’d prefer Park is because I dont underestimate the dippers for a second. Kyut has had some joy against us in recent times, right? Park’s the man. Tactically, Park is way more astute. Way more disciplined. Teams up really well with Giggsy. Insurance for our captain. More composure – knows way better what it means to don the Red shirt on a big match than Young. Wolves last gap goal anyone?

Not a big Young fan, but won’t knock him down either. End of day, both are good and very different players. Just that I feel Park’s better suited for tomorrow.

  351. kanchelskis says:

    @dannysoya

I’m pretty sure he’s not. Fergie didn’t mention him, which suggests he’ll miss out.

  352. dannysoya says:

No Nani? FUCK DAMMIT. what is up with his situation? I need him back tormenting defenders.

  353. Jeet says:

@Paul Parker – ohh no, mate, there was nothing personal in what you said! I guess we get what each of us are saying. As I said, I understand kids getting attracted to big succesful clubs. I hate it when someone ditches a loyalty cos the waters are a bit choppy. What next – God forbid, your wife of twenty years falls ill, you take up with the first available bimbo? Peaceout, mate!

  354. kanchelskis says:

    @dannysoya @jeet

Don’t take my word for it. It could be a cheeky Fergie smokescreen. But this season he’s been in the habit of announcing when players are coming back, which is why I assume we won’t see him tomorrow. If he is ready, I hope he starts.

  355. CedarsDevil says:

    James

I agree with Willie, I too found that bag of dead rats comment way too offensive…. I am off the blog for at least 2 hours!

    Hahaha

  356. Giggs12Gerrard0 says:

I bet you nani is playing tomorrow Fergie

  357. NotoriousRedDevil says:

I am so pissed off. Must have rung the club 50 times today to try and get a ticket for tomorrow after 2 unsuccessful attempts at the ballot similar to Gorse Hill Red. Guess what they were only selling vermin tickets as part of a 7 game season ticket package like I pointed out yesterday and smartalex did today.

Finally I just thought fuck it I’ll buy one of those season ticket things and you know what happened. They sold out but I can get a season ticket for the remaining 6 games. Fucking hate the glazers but something tells me this wouldn’t have happened had we treated our opponents with respect in the CL. Pissed off, truly am pissed off.

  358. CedarsDevil says:

I think Giggs12 is trying to tell us something at 13:16….! haha

Top quality and one which I believe he innovated

  359. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@ Clauton Blackmores Tan – Cracking post mate. Have fun in Amsterdam.

@ kanchelskis – With you on Young, he hasn’t even played 20 games and people are on his back your post at 16.13 put a wry smile on my face.

Ryan Giggs what a legend. I don’t think he’ll make 1000 appearances but to be 2 away from 900 is truly amazing.

  360. kanchelskis says:

    @NRD

Glad someone else is with me. He started the season on fire and had stormers v Arsenal and Spurs. I know neither were at full strength, but they were still big games. He also scored a couple of important goals in the CL, but because we were so doomed in that competition, that particular contribution has been pretty much forgotten.

I actually thought he was decent at SB as well, esp for a player coming back after a long lay-off. He forced a good save from Cech, from which anything could’ve happened from the rebound. And he beat his man to get a cross in a number of times. I really hope he silences a few of the cynics among our fans.

  361. Saad says:

    REd nation

You give the vermin way too much credit. They’re going to play 5-4-1 tomorrow and switch to 4-4-2 if the game is close.

  362. WillieRedNut says:

Have a moan NRD! He got no ticket! Give the fella a fucking ticket! :)

    Cedars –

  363. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Not only that kanchelskis. If Rooney had looked up he could have put him through a few times as he was in acres of space on the left hand side. He picked up a knock a just before the norwich game and missed a few games with a similar injury after that the cit-eh game. He has the right attitude as he’s made it from not being good enough at Watford to Villa and now United. He hasn’t had a silver spoon from being at a PL club since he was 12. For me he probably played through his knock to try and prove himself which would have been commended years ago now.

Some of our fans just need to have a bitch and a moan at some of our players. My theory is anyone who has a squad number with a multiple of 3 gets shit from our fans. That includes Vidic and Fletcher as well because before they lay offs they were getting grief too.

  364. lebomanc says:

    Hi all
Heard my fave player giggsy extended his contract… amazing, made my day
So nani is really gone for 2 months! Bummer but at least cleverley is FINALLY back

  365. Costas says:

Our ticketing system is more complex than our medical team and that says a lot. I’ll never fully understand it. Sorry to hear you won’t make it Notorious.

Regarding the left side tomorrow, if Nani doesn’t make it, I think it will be Ashley Young. This is a game where we want to dominate and get on top of them. Not rely mainly on work rate. Not underestimating anyone, but we have to put these fuckers through the sword.

As for Giggs, I said this a couple of days after Scholes returned. Don’t be surprised at all if Scholes also extends his contract. Fergie won’t let go of him now that he got him back.

  366. NotoriousRedDevil says:

This put a smile on my face Peter Coates the Chairman of the chelski northern rent boys supporters club said about Capello.

“I don’t see what we’ve gained under his term as manager,”

Of course you don’t Peter after the world class football that you witness every other week at the Britannia. The guy is a fucking fake with his fake plum in mouth posh accent. You are a stokie cunt if your so proud of it speak like it dickhead.

  367. CedarsDevil says:

    Bring back the frigging turnstiles!

NRD – Quality post on Stoke pal! haha

  368. Red Nation says:

    Kanchelskis –
Why insult me? Classless individual. I wont stoop to your low level & reply to you afterr this, your on the same wavelength as KKK & Suarez. An apology would be decent of you, considering you know nothing of my sibling yet reffered to her as part of your arguement.

Take note fellas, have a disagreement with him, he’ll fight his corner then throw sand in your eyes.

———– @Saad….Park has a great role in our matches against the scum & Chelski, if it aint broke don’t fix it. The only games Park has actually underperfomed for us is against Barcelona and that is not a fair example because based on that match Van Der Sar is worse than De Gea and Valencia is crap, which not true Lol.

  369. Clint-iamyourpapii says:

“My theory is anyone who has a squad number with a multiple of 3 gets shit from our fans. That includes Vidic and Fletcher as well because before they lay offs they were getting grief too.”

    Evra,Evans,Berbatov,Smalling,Vidic,Young,Rafael, Fletcher, Macheda

Who giving Vida grief let me at em

  370. rohan19 says:

young is great. its his first season. and he’s been injured a bit too.
    cut the guy some slack.

  371. WillieRedNut says:

Who would give Vidic grief? He’d murder ya! :D

I like people to give honest views on performances, and not sugar coat anything. In Young’s case though, he’s only just joined United. Lets give the lad sometime to adjust to life at United. Totally different ball game from life at Villa. Pressure is on all the time to perform at our club. Young will know this already. More to come from him, I’m sure.

  372. kanchelskis says:

    @Red Nation

Oh please. It was an expression. I don’t even know if you have a sister. Don’t be so precious.

  373. James21 says:

No Spurs away ticket for me. The dreaded text came.

Anyway is Ashley Young the new Evans or Gibbo?

  374. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Read it on here lads when Vidic was injured there shite spewed such as,

-He’s wanted to go with the contract debacle.
-He’s lost pace and isn’t as good anymore.
-He got shit for his sending off in the CL which was linked in with his pace.

Not sure who posted what but certainly read it.

  375. WillieRedNut says:

Maybe the odd comment, but nothing like Gibbo, or Berba.

  376. Paul Parker says:

Lol@Jeet – if your mate who is a die hard “whoever” fan suddenly switches colours and becomes a die hard “whoever else” fan It would be understandable to develop new reservations if asked to lend this fella 20 quid! Nah, if you really support and love a Club you’ll follow them right the way down through the lower leagues like all those fans of the lower league Clubs do. Wherever you are in the world thats what you call Support.

  377. Paul Parker says:

*Unless you’ve got a Cunt like Dalglish in charge of your Club, which in that case you’d happily suffer self-imposed sanctions as a supporter until said Cunt receives the sack! Thats what any self respecting LFC supporter would be privately mulling anyway…

  378. Marq says:

    Forget about those racists player/manager/fans.

Sir Alex hit the nail about us being dignified.

So if Suarez was innocent, why didn’t they contest the ban?

    Enough said
