Manchester United have been drawn against Leeds United in the 3rd Round of the League Cup. The last time the teams faced each other was in the FA Cup the season before last, with our hated rivals leaving with a 1-0 win. They brought out t-shirts to mark the momentous occasion, replacing the “0″ with their own club badge.
This time around we will be playing at Elland Road, giving our younger lads a taster of the hatred that comes with being a United player.
The games will be played on the week beginning September 19th.

Big game tomorrow. As an Arsenal fan I am officially burying the hatchet. Lot’s of begrudging respect for Man Utd. Ferguson and Giggs coming out to help le boss when we need it was great. Ferguson carries so much weight, it will keep the press pigs at bay.

Personally your club has given me nothing but pleasure these last few years, the FA reverse excepted. After years of providing some of the worst examples of fandom your club provided a perfect example of the perils of mismanagement. Many clubs have learned from this and as a result will be here in years to come. You needed to survive in order for that lesson to remain potent; had you died you’d just be a footnote in history.
Regarding the draw against you, I’d say I’m looking forward to us visiting your ground but it isn’t your ground any more, is it? Ha, from a club that lived on borrowed time in the Prem you’re now a club that plays on a borrowed ground in the basement league.
