Michael Keane joined Manchester United’s academy, with his twin brother Will, when he was just 11 years old. He spent over a decade with the club before joining Burnley where he has gone from strength to strength. Both Chelsea and Leicester are now reportedly interested in signing him.

However, Keane has revealed that he will always be a United fan, and is still good friends with Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard.

I stay in touch with Paul. I saw him a few weeks back when he came back and I am one of Jesse’s best mates. It’s good that a lot of that team have kept in touch – it was a top team, with a great spirit, and every now and again when we can we get together.

They were good times, coming through the Academy together, but it seems a lifetime ago now and we’ve done a lot since. I’m a United fan and always will be and to score at Old Trafford would be really special.
