The man we all love to hate, Ramon Calderon, has laid in to Sir Alex Ferguson this morning, following our manager’s criticism of the former Real Madrid president.
“He called me a buried dinosaur,” said Calderon. “I have a lot of respect for Manchester United as a club and Ferguson as a coach, but he must have had some tremendous problems in his life because he seems like a tormented soul. He only opens his mouth to attack fellow coaches in England and, above all, Real Madrid.”

Man Utd News 24/7

how desperate that man is
but I can’t stand another summer like last year- every day new story about Ronaldo- he said that, they said that-enough is enough
Scott, why posting it ? ))
DDDD
fuck him. Fergie has problems, yes of course ) poor Fergie, youthful maximalism
CALDERON ONLY OPENS HIS MOUTH TO TALK SHITE!
Anyhow now I’ve got that outburst out of the way Calderon has no respect for Manchester United or Sir Alex Ferguson. Constantly flirting with Ronaldo using the media as his tool (everyday) isn’t the way to do business. Business is done behind closed doors.
There is nothing wrong with having admiration for a football player like Ronaldo and their is nothing wrong with admitting that to the media. But to admit you wish to sign Ronaldo to the media will do nothing but increase the animosity between the 2 clubs.
Similarly SAF did the same thing to Bayern Munich regarding Owen Hargreaves. Should have just done business behind closed doors as no doubt that unsettled the player.
But Calderons contant mutterings have been going on for years and to be honest with ya I’m fed up of hearing about him.
Scott I suppose you have a responsibility to report this story on this blog however it does get extremely annoying. It brings up last summer and reminds me of Ronaldo’s actions which doesn’t do any good in making ammends with fans who still bare that grudge,
calderon is just extremely frustrated that he could not get CR7 as he had promised the fans.Ron will definitely stay next season and he may leave with Fergie
German media are reporting that Real (Calderon) have made a 38 million Euro bid for Ribery – maybe that´s Calderons “big name” that he intends to use to get his job back…
He actually said the worlds best player didn’t he?
That would be either Messi, Kaka, or Ronaldo.
Maybe we can even add Torres in to that fold now.
They haven’t jailed the old bastard yet?Fergie opens his mouth to smile about trophies you cunt.
As I said in another thread, Calderon is a prick & its easy for anyone to see that he is all talk. However such greasy operatives can have an effect on young players. The trick is not to response unless absolutely necessary. When the media sees that a potential story is nothing but hot air, they move on & interest dies down. But some players thinks they can use such talk to their advantage to knock up their contract value. It is a dangerous game for the inept and I think Ronaldo has learned his lesson of last summer.
Calderon is the ‘os penis’ of a dinosaur
Torres would probably never go to Madrid. I’d love to see Barca or Inter put in a silly bid for him though—Just like most of our rivals would love to see Ronny plying his trade elsewhere.
And Calderon’s a prick. The only way that statement avoids hypocrisy is that he avoids saying anything about other clubs except which players he wants to help himself to, and he’s not noticed that Real aren’t the top draw anymore. Did he notice the CL semis feature 3 English teams and his bitterest rivals again this season?
