England boss, Fabio Capello, has sung the praises of Wayne Rooney today following another two goals for Manchester United in our 3-0 win over West Ham.
“Rooney compared to Messi?” he said. “They are two players that everyone would like to have, along with Cristiano Ronaldo. Wayne is an extraordinary player, talented and willing to learn. Ferguson has taught him so much. I have told him that he must make sure he plays inside the box and he must continue to score goals. The departure of Ronaldo at Manchester United has empowered him and is now integral to their plans.”

pfa award ? drogba ?
I agree with Sr Capello……but -
There is one thing that Fergie cannot teach him .
He cannot make Rooney the all round Manchester United Superstar because there will always be one thing missing.
Fortunately, I will be able to teach Wayne the final missing piece of the jigsaw.
I will learn him how to talk like a proper Manc.
But too much world cup hopes are being pinned on Rooney. Hope this doesn’t affect his performance for United! I cant believe my eyes when I see the total tally for Rooney. Whats the stat scott, he’s scored in each of our matches ?
Rooney will get all the awards this year without a doubt.(in uk)
firstly because he’s fuckin unbelievable!
secondly its been a while since an englishman has been this good so definitely wazza.
Rooney for player of the year.
Fergie getting recognition from yet another top manager – nice to hear!

i agree.
this crap about rooney winning the world cup on his own must stop asap. all it will do is put pressure on him, yes he’s brilliant and can win games on his own but fuck me you need some other players as passionate as him too if you want to win a wc, thats why england wont win it cause besides rooney theres about as much passion as the board of directors at pompey, they all big time charlies who wont put there body on the line regardless of what the media say.. they dont give a fuck they just want to outshine there own team mates .
look at portugal and other teams along those lines, technicaly england is better but why do those teams always do better? ? simple- passion these cunts dont have any. we’d be better with players from clubs outside the top 4 and rooeny rio brown nevile and scholes,
so plea to rooeny- please dont let the ingerland team distract you from whats really important
curtis – Spot on fella. No players have the passion and drive that UNITED players have and therein lies the problem. “We all agree, United are better than Ingerlund”!!+
Thats the main advantage of playing at United under Sir Alex when you have talent. If you work hard and have faith in your potential you will suceed.
Rooney’s form has been good but nothing to be surprised of. He is just fulfilling the potential he has had for all these years. All we are seeing as the games go by is his increasing maturity. His hardwork is paying off.
He has taken the responsibility of being the main man for United very well. Some people crumble under such pressure, Wayne is thriving under it.

i think it was known during the summer that they were going to do that with Rooney anyway and from the start of world cup tme big players have al not iven 100% due to fear of injury and mising a world cup.
My one worry about loosing Ronaldo was althou i knew rooney would be given the ball and told to run with it i taught he may take it down a notch due to the world cup and the way he ended our 3-0 defeat to chelsea 4 years ago. but to my upmost joy rooney has up’d his game about 8 notches and is fully committed to manchester united and is relishing in his new job as the bread winner. if we do not win the league i have to clap my hands because of the fight that we have put in due to our crazy injury problems -loosing 3 nil to fulham come off it like that was just gonna happen on any normal day- but if ,and i believe will, united win the league its a team game and its a team game an the team deserve it but rooney is the leader of the ship

I can remember back in October time people saying that Rooney just had not become the player we expected! Not you aig but Justice for Heysel for one. Said his touch was poor and he had actually regressed at United. Wonder what their stance is now?
@King Eric
HI mate.
I felt till last year that Rooneys finishing was average and he needed to work on it.But to do better you have to play up front consistently to improve not only his finishing but also his positioning.he has been given the chance this year and is taking it.He wasnt as prolific in the early part of the season but as the games have gone on he has really improved and how.
thats SIR ALEX FERGUSON to you Capello
aig
you dont seem to be able to say anything good about a united player without writing alot of shit about them before hand
fletcher was shit his desision making was poor and everyone wanted him sold
……………….but now he’s great
1
why dont you just get behind a player without bitching about them or nitpicking about something
and this post is about rooney the easiest player in the world of football you could talk hours about without saying anything bad about
@ghtt
If you read the post properly you will realise what i am trying to say. It actually emphasises how far Rooney has come this season and how much his game has improved. It was obvious last few seaons that Rooney could improve his finishing and i am glad he has done that.He can still improve though. Great players look to improve every time.
Please analyze the posts and then comment.I have never said anything bad about fletcher before he became so vital to United.
@curtis
Spot on. Look at the cunt John Terry for instance. He doesn’t even have passion for his club! The much hyped “Mr Chelsea” having sleepless nights because of a big money offer from the Shitizens. Can you imagine Scholsey even for one second considering something like that? I’m getting well pissed as I type this. I fucking hate the majority of the Ingerlund squad.
After the result yesterday, dare I say it, up citeh on the weekend? Maybe Tevez will make amends for being such a massive twat.
aig
my post said you cant understand why you cant say anything good without moanin about something in the past or the present
so you didnt read my post right
you just jumped on the negitive bus again
lighten up

ive to change my user name tomorrow so it can never be traced back to me again so ill say it, I’m Backing your support Come on City Come On Tevez Come On Bellemy Come On Adebayor Come On All You Money Grabbing Overrated Wanks , You’ve Got My Support
@ghtt
maybe thats the case.If you ever read my posts i never slag off players saying ‘He should fuck off’ or ‘he is shite’. I am critical but thats because i want United players to improve and do well all, the time.
I certainly will look to the past because thats what gives you an indication of how far players come. Whenever we talked about Ronaldo we started with ‘That gawky teenager who would frustrate the fans with his stepovers and selfishness has come a long way’.I look at Rooney in a very similar way. When you look at how he is playing now you feel he ahs reached a point where he is realising how good he can be.
I would be disappointed if this is Rooneys peak. The lad has immense potential and is just ascending the peak of greatness.
you are critical always about everything
for the most part you come across as one of those fans that are never ever happy because you want “we often score 6 but we seldom score 10″ every week. I come across it alot in pubs when the loudest guy in the bar are glory hunters . . who not only dont understand the importance of berbatov but couldnt even tell ya how important J. H. Davies was in the history of the club. every post you write is critical of manchester united
like been critical of Sir Alex in the past
and you write stuff like “because i want United players to improve and do well all, the time.” what do you know to make a player like Rooney Improve
As a fan i expect players to improve.that way i guess we shouldnt say anything about anyone.what difference it makes to them?
Disagreeing with what sir alex says isnt criticising and we have every right to disagree with him.
If you find my posts so annoying ignore them.simple.not a hard thing to do.
You also have no right to call any fan a gloryhunter so mind what you are saying.
I am in no mood for arguements so i am done as far as responding to your petty acussations goes.
Emily Jane 3 weeks till …..
well said mate.

i can call some man united fans glory hunter cause some are
i can call some united fans daytrippers cause some are(i fall in there somewhere)
i can call some united fans knowlagable cause some are
i can call some united fans die hards cause some are
you cant tell me what an what not to say about people
cause i cll it as i see it
i know a glory hunter and shes happy with that fact shes going to the stoke game with me because she “only gets into united really at the end of the season”
united fans are from far and near as in where there garden is in the world
and also how much manchester united effects there life
glory hunters are as much apart of united as die hards
but there is 2 types of glory hunters
theres the marys of the world that jump on bandwagons and arent afraid to say it and you got to hold your 10 fingers in the air and respect that
and then theres the glory hunters that will swear on there left ball that they arent glory hunters
theres no respect with them
Hello again
Just goes to show what respect there must be between these two brilliant managers.
Sir Alex Ferguson hasn´t been in the game and in particular this job if he doesn´t know what he´s talking about.
UNITED UNITED UNITED

Nice to see some recognition for Fergie.
Would be nice to see some stats regarding Rooneys scoring-rate since joining up with Capello though, cause I reckon that he’s had quite an influece on the lad as well.
Rentboys are one down after 3 minutes.
Would we mind if Capello replaced Fergie? I don’t think I would especially because he seems to have a good relationship with Rooney.
