carrick is so simple as a player i love to see him when he ‘s on pressure in the midfield he’s so calm
but honestly arsenal is more a threat to our 4th consecutive title because chelsea has difficult games to play arsenal just got shitty.

Frank ‘ Life Red’ Effiom – Get a clue pal. Carrick has been our central midfielder the last 3 seasons in our most successful period. You don’t play in that team if you are shit. Aside from Scholes the best passer of the ball at United and keeps us ticking.

An excitin win bt michael carrick shud shut his mouth n do d talkin on d pitch.he’s an obvious weakness in our midfield,very lazy to tackles lik a woman,always caught in possessions etc.he shud cease talkin cos’ he aint gud enuf for United,very fortunate to wear our colours!

I like Carrick too, and while his performances have generally been better in the second part of this season, I still think he was much more consistent in his first two season for us. I was actually quite shocked by his performance against Wolves, not just because he nearly cost us 2 points at the end but I couldn’t even keep track of the number of times he lost possession :S
I still have hope we will see the Michael Carrick who destroyed Roma in 2007 before the end of the season though:)

I am a fan of Michael. His form early season was poor for some reason but he has picked his game up second half of the season. His one touch passing is top drawer, never does anything fancy but just keeps United ticking over with his one and two touch passing. Is not afraid to receive the ball in tight spots either. Sometimes gets caught in possession but usually gets rid of the ball quickly. Picks up the pieces in front of the back four well. As I say it’s not always noticeable what he brings but he is integral to Uniteds’ central midfield.
