Smalling Out For Ten Weeks

Chris Smalling has been ruled out for a further ten weeks with a broken metatarsal having just recovered from a thigh injury. He is likely to miss the opening six league games of the season and his injury will be felt for heavily because Jonny Evans will still be recovering from an operation.
