Reaction To Derby… Hmmm

In the games where we haven’t got the result we wanted or just scraped a 1-0, it’s usually been a game we’ve totally dominated. Tonight was an entirely different kettle of fish. Poor doesn’t come close to describing that performance tonight and there is absolutely no excuse for it.

Southampton Boss: It Was A Normal Tackle, Not A Red Card

Manchester United beat Southampton 3-0 yesterday in a game United controlled and dominated, as you would expect. However, there were several talking points after the game. Firstly, replays showed United’s first goal, scored by youngster Danny Welbeck, should have been ruled out for offside. He wasn’t standing in an offside position when the ball came [...]

Tevez: Four Goals Is Better Because It’s For United

Manchester United thrashed Paul Ince’s Blackburn 5-3 in the League Cup, with Carlos Tevez getting his name on the scoresheet four times. Having lost his first team place since the arrival of Dimitar Berbatov, Tevez was keen to make an impression on Sir Alex Ferguson whenever he was given a chance, which he certainly did. [...]

VIDEO: Tevez and Nani Goals Against Blackburn

What a pair of pricks we had on show tonight at Old Trafford. As if Paul Ince’s appearance wasn’t enough, Blackburn dragged that fat scouse bastard Robbie Fowler along with them. Must admit, it feels good to knock those two out of a cup! Read on for all our goals against Blackburn to put us [...]

Big Time Charlie: You’re Killing Me!

Paul Ince travels to the home of his former club tonight with his current team Blackburn Rovers. Ince has progressed quickly up the managerial ladder, taking charge of a Premiership side just a few years in to his career. He is expected to be given a rough time for the home support, after his shamelessly [...]

Big Time Charlie It Is Then

Manchester United have been drawn against Blackburn Rovers for the quarter-finals of the League Cup. United faced Blackburn when another former red was at the healm, knocking out Mark Hughes’ boys in the semi-finals back in 2006. We went on to win the competition, after facing Premiership opposition in every round, with Louis Saha shining. [...]

Another Chance For Rafael To Shine

Rafael Da Silva replaced Gary Neville in United’s weekend clash against Arsenal, putting in a great performance and scoring a brilliant goal. Neville’s days in the starting lineup are certainly numbered with this young Brazilian looking for a first team place, and no doubt Patrice Evra, who has had a very good season so far, [...]

United Disrespected The FA Cup? That’s What The Media Would Have You Believe!

Every now and again when United are playing an FA Cup game, the commentators will remind us how we chose to withdraw from the competition in 1999-2000, following our historic Treble winning season. Instead of taking part in one of the most prestigious cup competitions in the world, United instead took part in the World [...]
