The FA have confirmed that Jonny Evans will serve a six game ban for spitting at Papiss Cisse in United’s 1-0 win over Newcastle this week. It is likely that Evans will appeal the decision, given he has claimed he’s innocence but will probably get an extra game for making a “frivolous” appeal.
