Last week I posted up a video which showed Wayne Rooney getting nutmegged in the latest Nike advert. Today, I have the same incident filmed by the Nike cameras, showing Rio Ferdinand’s reaction.
Rio Ferdinand has come out with the usual pre-match rubbish, ahead of England’s match tonight against European Champions, Spain. He reckons they’re the best team in the World but after beating Germany in a friendly, thinks England are good enough to take them. I’ll settle for Torres getting injured and United players going unscathed.
Manchester United were winning 2-0 with 72 minutes played, before Wayne Rooney was subbed on to the pitch. The game exploded in to life, with a fruther five goals being scored in the remaining 18 minutes, Rooney scoring two of them. Edwin Van der Sar, Gary Neville, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Wes Brown, Ryan Giggs, Cristiano Ronaldo, Michael Carrick, Paul Scholes, Darren Fletcher, John O’Shea and Wayne [...]
Fifty years to the day after his professional football career began, Sir Alex Ferguson is receiving a lot of praise for the remarkable things he has achieved. Future captain, Rio Ferdinand, believes that replacing him will be a massive task, although thinks if any club is capable of bringing the right man in, Manchester United [...]
Cristiano Ronaldo has claimed the first of what is likely to be a few awards this season, after being named FifPro World Footballer of the Year. Rio Ferdinand was also named among the best eleven players in the World last season, which will be well received by our defender who was overlooked in the Balon [...]
