Cheaper Beer At Old Trafford Than Wastelands

The average cost of a pint at a Premiership football ground is £3.19, some 44p more experience than the country’s average price.

Outline of the London club, who you’d expect to be more expensive anyway, City, Sunderland, West Brom, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Everton all charge more for a pint than at Old Trafford. The likes of Stoke, Hull and Blackburn charge the same, with only Bolton, Middlesbrough and Wigan selling their beer for less.

When you consider Wigan and Middlesbrough’s average attendance this season has been 7,000 less than full capacity, whilst Bolton’s has been down by an average of 3,000, it’s no surprise they’re trying to keep their fans sweet with cheaper beer!

Chelsea – £4
Arsenal – £3.50
Manchester City – £.3.50
West Ham – £.3.50
Fulham – £.3.50
Tottenham Hotspur – £.3.30
Sunderland – £.3.20
West Bromwich – £.3.20
Newcastle – £.3.20
Aston Villa – £.3.20
Everton – £.3.20
Liverpool – £.3.00
Stoke – £.3.00

Holy crap!!! That’s freaking expensive!!! Back at my hometown it only cost RM10.00 (GBP 1.80) for 5 cans of beer (Tiger) and RM12.00 (GBP 2.20) for 3 cans in the city I’m living now.

I was at the derby yesterday and although City charge more than United for a beer, at least you get a pint for that price and not 275ml of Budweiser – for those of you not aware of UK metric conversions thats double the amount!!! Sooner the Glazers leave the better

How many times did Wazza say “Massive” in his interviews over the weekend? Nice one lad, keep it up. I reckon he might have got a smack off his mate Ricky H on Saturday night.

Jphilt1, does this actually mean that a pint of Budweiser piss at Old Trafford would in fact cost around £6.19, with 568ml to a pint?? If that’s the case then you should review the credibility of this article, Scott.

Bought a pint in Florence, just before the Fiorentina-Lyon game, for Eur. 2.90/-. A bit on the higher side I thought! :-s

In the states, a 16 ounce beer at any sporting event is going to cost around 7 bucks…so thats what? around 3.5 pounds?? Sucks to be you lot….Oh, and we can drink in the stands while watching the games!!! Not just racing to chug a few at half time

Then again, I guess we don’t have much fighting between fans….which is a shame

Any road up, London beer is like their teams… cost a fucking fortune and is weak and watery piss !!
