Totally spot on and agree red ranter…True loyal fans have been messed about enough up there. By muppets ala gullit wise ashley souness fat crap sam etc. None of them have a clue. Geordies deserve better

And even though i think Big Al would have been one of our best signings ever. And scored twice as many goals as anyone. I admire that he stayed loyal, even though we utd fans were gutted. And even as a utd fan…i respect and think what a flamin top draw striker he was. Best in prem history

Actually you are being a little unfair on Shearer on this one. Yes ok, it’s 47,000 and not 52,000. But the rest of what he said you can’t disagree. I really feel sorry for the way that club is being ruined by that muppet Mike Ashley. Whilst Newcastle have become the joke of the country, this latest development is unfortunate, and no fan (bar, Pool or City or Leeds) should be subjected to this sort of nonsense.

You’ve got to remember that Shearer thought he was the missing piece that would help Newcastle win the league. Had Newcastle been a mid table team at the time then he would have joined United, but fuck it’s in the past we got Ole and the rest is history.

Now he has his reputation at Newcastle to consider and so won’t manage them through fear of relegation.

Shearer has had the chance to take the job before he doesn;t have the bottle as for wise, that odious little cockney wide boy, i wouldn’t have that fooker in the same county let alone the same club.

Hopefully who ever comes into the club ensurers wise gets his marching orders, I’m not great fan of keegan or newcastle but anyone is better than this twat

I was thinking about Alan Shearer earlier, as you do, I don’t want to be one seen as being harsh on him for turning down United. He stayed loyal to his club, something we take pride in some of our players, Wes Brown, Ole, Scholes.. etc.

Obviously Manchester United are a far bigger club with a far better team, so staying in the team is more difficult but I guess staying loyal to a Club like Newcastle that always disappoints can’t be easy.

I was also a bit gutted by Keegans departure, maybe in the circumstances it seems even worse or maybe because KK is just so funny to watch on Match of The Day every week!

I agree with Kevin Keegan in one way – I f*cking hate Dennis Wise. I always have. Along with Ashley Cole, I can’t think of anybody in the world of football I dislike more. I would love to throttle the little sh1t with piano wire and I would love it, LOVE IT!.. if the ‘long suffering’ 47000 or so stormed the ground and lynched the nasty little twat from the nearest gas lantern.
