They’re top-ranked because of their performances in the CL over the past 5 seasons, nothing underhanded or strange there. They’ve performed consistently and fair play to them, not much consolation for an empty trophy cabinet mind you.

We are the ones with the trophies. All this shows is that Chelsea bottle it when it comes to the business end of the tournament. Hardly surprising though is it? When they are lead by John “The Bottling, Blubbering Thug” Terry.

Chelsea are at the top because they deserve to be, but really it makes no difference, as long as we are in the top 8 i dont care which order they are in.
Bayern will be strong as usual but i enjoy watching United playing the best sides in europe. This year should see a really open competition.

Not really sure who we’ll avoid through the seeding but the teams I’d like us to avoid are Roma, Juventus and Lyon.

Not because I’m not confident that we’ll do well against them, I just think it’d make a nice change for Chelsea or Liverpool to get a few of the tougher teams early on. Saying that, at least with Roma and Lyon we know what to expect. Teams that peopel write off, like Fenerbache for example, can throw up a few suprises.

Hopefully we’ll face Real Madrid at some stage this season. Firstly, we owe them a beating after the Ronaldo nonsense and their total lack of respect for United.

Secondly, we owe them for making us look shit at the Bernabeu back in 2003, and for the Old Trafford showdown in 2000.

Thirdly, maybe the only way to convince Ronnie where he SHOULD be long-term is by giving the Madristas a good hammering on the pitch and proving that we are the far superior side (we know it but Cristiano is obviously a bit of a plum.)

top team in europe!!!, bollocks.,cant beat rosenberg, playing olypakios, fernibache, and the scousers(virtually every year) on way to moscow final,,….uefa again thinking out their arse….they will probably get more shit teams again this year, and still blow it.

i’d dearly love for us to get an excting group this year. i’m sick of the predictability in the group stages. maybe a Juventus or Bayern followed by two smaller teams.
