well,im planning to visit this site in may next year and will be eager to read what u rant then…it’ll be very close and my guess is that the team that sustains less injuries will take it by 3-4points maximum.

I didn’t see the L’pool match – nor the highlights, if there were any. From the reports I’ve read, they are already “done like dinner” – no Torres, no Gerrard. Roll on. TheLads look good to stuff those scousers in a fortnight’s time when they will set up their stall – at home, no less – in the “strategic” mode of RafaBall in the hope of a nil-nil draw. I don’t think so.

They’ve been lucky so far; it won’t last – if the “next ones” were any good whatsoever, then the scouse would look life-and-death for fourth. As it is, the Pretenders are only a bit better than the DeadMenWalking so fourth-place is L’pool’s to lose. They’re shite – and their “fans” know it, too. Interesting read on this in the GU blog – most of the scousers are damned-near apologetic about their “team” and accept that this is the last year for RafaBall.

On a related topic, who didn’t like watching Sampdoria stop TheSpecialOne in his tracks ! Real Madrid were losing, too – the last time I looked. I like that too.

liverpool are mince and should have dropped points in all 3 pl games as well as being out of europe

chelsea will be a tough nut to crack , they have given 1 goal in 3 games and when drogbha is back (cheating diving bstd as he is) he will get them goals.

The RentBoyz really miss Drogba – Anelka is feeble as the lone striker. From my perspective, it’s a good thing that Drogba is proving to be rather brittle because they are are different team when he’s in full speed ahead.

Today, they dominated the early going but had no penetration; Spurs reorganized themselves and got a lucky bounce, one-apiece. Second half was about as interesting as watching my grass grow.

Scott is right, though; the RentBoyz don’t look very together as a team nor does their attack seem coherent. The Arse looked very good yesterday against the same Newcastle team that shot its bolt in the first game at OT – so inconsistent; same with the gooners who were crappy against Fulham last weekend. Nothing could encourage me to waste time watching the scousers, though; there are, after all, other things in life.

They were poor today and if we win our game in hand, IF we win that is, we’ll be level on points and i’m more than happy as I know we can only improve, we need Nani and Rooney fitter, Anderson to rest up, Ronaldo fit and we’ll start getting better and better, especially as Hargreaves is yet to come back, we can’t have Scholes playing week in week out for 90 mins, as good as a player he is, we don’t want to burn him out, if we keep pace while we’ve got injured players and what not, we should be in line to win the title hopefully so long as we don’t get many more injuries.

They weren’t great today. Kenyon’s assertion that Deco is the bargain of the summer is going to prove to be utter horse-sh1t. ‘Big Phil’(cringe) is going to find life a little harder than he imagined, without a doubt. He’s going to have a steep learning curve because they expect him to win the title in his first season, which is a hell of a lot to expect. Let’s hope that Calderon’s moral outrage (lol) prevents them from bringing in Robinho, because they are toothless without Drogba
