Evra, Rio, Wesley and Vidic might have peaked BUT none is over 29. And there is no way that Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Nani, and Anderson have reached their max. As Reggie Jackson said after leading the Yankees to the 1977 World Series – “it’s not bragging if you can do it”, and these five guys can really, really do it.

By the way, how many of the core players for the RentBoyz are under 29 ? My calculation only suggests that their keeper, the wonderful Peter Cech, fits that bill.

Whats actually amazing is that, the facts ARE soooo obvious to see, how can he say Ronaldo, Nani, Tevez, Anderson, Vidic, Evra have all peaked? The facts are obvious for all to see and yet he keeps saying rubbish, is he really this thick????? How Chelsea does so well having a captain with a brain the size of an atom is beyond me.

Terry is trying to give his team-mates some confidence. Cut Scolari is very much over-rated and the RentBoyz’ addition of Deco will clog an already over-loaded central midfield. I suppose that Boswinga will add something to their back line – but not on defence ! They will be better but so will TheLads who have a much, much younger core of talent – a core of young talent that is also vastly experienced, too. Adding Berbatov will shore up TheReds’ last area of concern – depth up front – while adding a new variation to their attack with a tall striker. Terry is just grasping at straws – like most of the ABU London press corps.
