There has been a lot written about the young players at United, particularly following our 8-2 thrashing of Arsenal with the 2nd youngest line-up in Premier League history.
Javier Hernandez has today joined in with this praise and has even claimed he feels old in comparison.
“Many of our players are between 19 and 21 years of age, then me, Evans and Ando are 23 so we feel older!” said Hernandez. “The younger players run a little more and want to show why they are in the team, and that can only be good for us. But it’s great because there are other players here with lots of experience too.”

Hes one of the middle aged members of the squad now. Rooney,Fletch,Carrick,Vida,Nani, Valencia, Young are all veterans now.

Fergie’s done it again hasn’t he.The man is a genius,he has managed to build team after team over the years yet still keep United challenging on all fronts even during our so called transitional periods. The young players now in the side and the ones that will undoubtedly break through to join them in the coming months could potentionally be his greatest ever side.Not bad for a man who some in the press proclaimed had lost the plot and should have retired after winning the treble. Great to have chicharito back and i’m sure it wont take long before he’s scoring regularly in what promises to be a very exciting season.Even if United don’t win the title this year the 20th title will surely be claimed in the very near future by a united side keeping faith with our proud history and tradition by playing a mix of home grown talent and experienced regulars.take note city no hollow victories here.
