Chicharito: I’m At The Best Club In The World

Chicharito has helped Mexico progress to the Gold Cup semi-finals as the competition’s top scorer this year with six goals.

The young Mexican has reflected on his début season in England, claiming he is at the best club in the world.

“I am very happy that, as a squad, we won the English championship,” said Chicharito. “This is a wonderful thing, especially after a title race so competitive. Chelsea, Arsenal and even Manchester City battled to the end, but we never doubted our strength. Our team has such soul and such spirit. Success is written into the DNA of this club. I’m at the best club in the world. Everything is done to succeed and win titles. There is only the Champions League defeat that sticks in the throat. Personally, I am extremely happy with my season, but I do not rest on my laurels. I want to do even better next season. I want to help this club to make history.”

  4. soccerisfootbal says:

well done hernandez, destroying all opposition.

with rooney, hernandez welbeck, berba, etc, utd have enough goals and forwards to last us years and years. CM on the cards. forget about modric and sneijder. that’s the lazyman’s guess. they aren’t the only talents out there, and they certainly don’t have all the best stats

    :D

fergie’s going to surprise us all.

  7. The Situation says:

    GET KAKA

On topic, Chicharito is a gem! Fuckin’ beauty. Long may his scoring continue

  8. Mr C says:

@soccerisfootbal – bang on, 100%. There aren’t any teams around with that firepower up front so we need to hang on to them all. Something has to be done to bolster CMF though I’m not convinced either about needing big money signings like Modric and Scneijder …would rather SAF reconfigures a bit or one or two of the youngsters come through.

  9. Fred says:

    What a guy he is.

  13. Robbinhood Savage says:

Rare to find such players who have absolute love for the club they are playing for. Unlike few who get easily lured by the big money offered by clubs like Citeh and Madrid. We need to buy such players who would love to play for United.

  14. Kings says:

    Fucking love you Chicha.

  17. huzi says:

Hello all RoM’ers. Back after a long, long time. Wonderful to see all the regulars(except GHTT) still here.

On topic: Absolutely great to see Hernandez banging in the goals for his country also. Really top, top player. 20 goals in 26 appearances for Mexico, and 20 in his first season at United! Can go on to become one of the finest strikers, ever. Keep your head down lad!

@adkoilusion, who said you can’t say those word? Common say it, but only this time use ‘supporting’ not ‘playing’. Lol

  23. Zibbie says:

Lil Pea has IT.!!!!! Man Crush for sure.
He is huge in the US the Mexican population loves him as an Icon and the rest of us Love him as well. Megan Fox had a cut off Man Utd shirt with Lil Peas face on her chest.
Off topic the US press have mirrored the people in a buggering love affair with Rory McIlroy.

  24. SirAlex'sSon says:

    Lmao @smartalex

  25. Zibbie says:

Lil Pea transfer of the summer, better then Ozil. Closely followed by, Vidic, Evra and Rooney’s new contracts. I understand the hate for some on Rooney’s horrible way he fucked up the negotiation part. Personally I was gutted by it for weeks. As most know I’m over it and love Rooney the player, not( “The Player” ). This summers biggest signing might be a Lil Pea extension. My TSO is at toxic levels, it is only June 19 th. SAF will address the CM in his way, some promotion from with in and a new player as well, maybe. In the end even with a major turnover of players. MUFC look the club to beat for the BEPL. March on to 20 !!! GLORY GLORY MAN UTD !!!! GO ROONEY !!!!!!
I read back on the other thread, if I had a gun to my head and had to chose a BEPL tittle or a CL tittle, I would pick 20 !!!!! And the BEPL. My greed wants both.

  26. Zibbie says:

smartalex was the beginning of my bladder control problem. I can’t spell contaninance close enough so spell check can help me. So I went with Bladder control.

  27. King Eric says:

Wow. What a lad. Serious man crush on him. Been watching some games from early last season and its clear Hernandez has worked hard iin the gym. His arms and legs and upper body are already a lot bigger. I don’t subscribe to this second season syndrome for Javier. I think he will be even better. Will be the best striker in world football in a year or two. Works on his game and folk say he is first in training and last to leave. A real desire to succeed.

  28. Fred says:

“Wow. What a lad. Serious man crush on him. Been watching some games from early last season and its clear Hernandez has worked hard iin the gym. His arms and legs and upper body are already a lot bigger.”

    FFS King Eric!

  29. Zibbie says:

So many players have talent, very few have the eye of the tiger and works so hard to become better.
CR7 SAF always said he was the first to practice and the last to leave, he is saying the same for Lil Pea.
Rooney is 2nd or 3rd to and from the practice pitch as well. Lil Pea turning into the Hulk a mini version. GGGEEEEERRRRR!!!!!!!

  30. Zibbie says:

Rory McIlroy a season ticket holder at Old Trafford. The capital I looks like a small l.

  31. sachu says:

    @zibbie good post
in this crazy transfer market , signing chicharito for 6 million is awesome.
full marks to sir alex and the scouts.
he can score 30 next season surely .
rooney is entering is peak years .
he will be there for preseason . this time there is no post world cup trauma or contract issues.

and also he is in his favourite position. and i think we would have coasted to the title if we had a fit antonio valencia. rooney hernandez valencia nani OH HELL YEAH
any suggestions for midfield de rossi diarra even maybe kaka
rumours of diarra have been there .

  32. manutdisadream says:

Chicharito, makes the world look shite!

javier is a top pro, so young and so dedicated. future of united. brilliant player, superb skill on the ball and a deadly finisher. in a couple of years he will be a legend. if he spends more time in the gym, talks more on the pitch and keeps up the goal scoring, id strongly consider him as a new number 7. I know i know, number 14 for him is spesial, and he wears whatever he wants to wear, but it is a nice thought! ;)

  33. Zibbie says:

What a team, what a club, what a bolg. 19

  35. scan74 says:

eye of tiger how did the rest go zibbie i remember standing up to the challenge of our rivals but thats about it

too right 6 millon what a fucking find remember thinking he looked a gd finisher in the world cup but never thought he would be a major player so soon for us

all the best too the lad a great pro and a top fella to boot

  36. Zibbie says:

@sachu Thanks man, If Rooney can put a full season together like the second half of last with Tony V and Lil Pea on the last shoulder and Nani with Giggs for 20 big games at CAM wow,cho-cho look the fuck out…
As far as my opinion on who I like, well opinions are like asshole and I have one of those. Sanchez is my under educated hope. SAF and Gill have prepared for Schole’s retirement for 18 months now, Plan A) always seems his way. He does not spend to spend. He does not bend on who he wants. Some time he shoots and misses like with Villa. Who he wants, I have no fucking clue. I have a wish list like a kid at X-Mas. In the end I will back the team Man Utd fields and the players he signs.

  37. Kings says:

On topic – Chicha is far too good a player to suffer from the second season syndrome. He will get 25 league goals next season. We love you Chicha.

Off topic – Bore off with this Kaka shit and any more transfer piffle. Every single bloody thread has to involve this nonsensical garbage..

  38. Zibbie says:

mate , sir alex will have a lot of options in mind
gill said they have been working for a year .
it seems sanchez was our no 1 target. i do think he can be great . but he is apparently on his way to barca.so good luck to him.
i think there is a definite trend that players prefer real and barca over us
it could be weather , tax.
examples are villa benzema ozil and possibly sanchez.
talksport have been saying for a while now that we are after diarra. he is good and hope we get him.
personally i hope we get kaka on loan maybe.
he certainly is wasting is time in madrid.

  43. Zibbie says:

SAF man management will come in big for Lil Pea’s 2 nd season. Not like AW pissen and moaning about Jack. SAF knows the National growth and prestige is huge. Lil Pea will get a rest from the club. Giving Wellbeck and Kiko a chance to play more with the first team in preseason practice and games flowing into the Carlin Cup giving them a chance to step up like Smalling and Lil Pea the year before.

  44. smartalex says:

Good evening Kings and King Eric! How are you doing? Well, I hope!

  45. Zelh says:

Jones is going to captain the U21 tonight.
    future.

  46. Rai says:

I agree with the sensible majority, no second season syndrome for this lad. If anything his understanding with his fellow strikers and midfield will improve, more chances will be created and more chances put away. If defenders pay too much attention to him then so be it, as that will leave more space for Rooney/Berba….

I expect big things from him and the Da Silva boys this season. Fabio will evolve into a midfielder i’m sure – he’s brilliant off the ball, making runs and a good finisher…

My biggest man crush on the whole team, is a kinky one. I have a thing for the twins. They play with heart and furry. The have skill a self belief that shines like the RED setting sun. So fun to watch. Fabio LW how cool is that. When the Twins lined up at the wings against the Gomers how cool was that.

  58. Costas says:

    @WHAT?(x3)

Relax mate. Man crush is quite common when you support a club like this. It’s probably what you felt about Eric Cantona. ;)

  59. WHAT ??? says:

Quality player tho, and he’ll be loyal, he knows how much his debut Season means, not just in Mexico but America as well. He’s probably the most famous Manchester United player in America right now, and he’s put his fellow Mexican players on the map. He’s from a long line of footballers, his head is screwed on. Conservative attitude, God-Fearing. Really can’t see him having a Fascist Dream.

Even if he grew up worshipping the White Shirt, he’s got enough class to know that a Red Shirt in the Hand is worth more than everything else in the World.

  60. Zibbie says:

What????? Man Crush is slang here in the US for what people have here for Berba, Becks ect… A nonsexual feeling for one man to another.

  61. sachu says:

    CHICHARITO

    DE GEA

  62. Kings says:

Rai – Hello my friend. I am well excited for the future of United. Chicha will get even better and will get at least 25 Premiership goals next season, his pace and movement and the finding of space will enable him to achieve this. And as you rightly stated, the De Silva twins will have an even bigger impact next season and I would not be surprised to see them getting plenty of games together, that’s no disrespect to Evra, I just think that Fergie will make provisions to develop an understanding for them, taking into account their age. With the possible arrival of De Gea, who incidently looks top drawer, our average age will significantly reduce, meaning we have a squad to dominate for the next 10 years. Can’t wait for next season mate.

  63. WHAT ??? says:

@Costas – easy mate, im perfectly relaxed, im laughing.
I worshipped Cantona growing up, im that age,
I’ll never respect another player like I respect Cantona, ever,
but I never fancied him tho Lol.

Crush away mate, don’t mind me

  64. scan74 says:

zibbie you dirty old bastard there barely legal mind u twins would score some points

id like vidic so strong id feel safe and warm in his arms!!

    zelh

yeah good to see him back bits ive seen we got 2 top boys in smalling and jones been good at the back

bit harder to judge welbeck aint had a lot 2 go on as the service has been poor midfield has looked pretty gash took his goal well againt espana though

  65. WHAT ??? says:

@ Zibbe – mate I’d be explaining that to my missus while dodging black bags of my stuff thrown from an upstairs window

  66. sachu says:

i would have loved to see chicharito rooney and cantona playing as afront three
thats is a marriage made in heaven

  67. Zelh says:

Why is everyone putting Valencia over Nani? :(

  68. smartalex says:

    I am well Kings, thanks!

Javier Hernandez’ father and grandfather played well for Mexico.
No doubt, Chicharito’s upbringing in a top football family played a major role in forming him into the top-notch prospect/player that he is.

Spare a thought for Bebe, who has had 1 year in a football family, not 20 years.
Perhaps Bebe story at United also has a star-studded future.

Either way, the Hernandez family have done themselves and their ‘little pea’ proud.
    Thank you, Pod Hernandez!

  69. Zibbie says:

Fuck even when I try to be a good RoM poster, I cause non intended havoc of sorts, with Man Crush.
I’m laughing by myself. I do that a lot on RoM.
Oh Lil Pea, how you move me. To see you play puts a smile on my heart. Pull on my heart stings to the tune of Glory Glory Man Utd.

  83. escandon says:

offtopic….cleverly is in the team tonight ..

  84. WHAT ??? says:

    @ Zelh

IMO Tony doesn’t really need other players to put in a brilliant shift, once he gets the ball his turn of pace and strength means he’s always likely to beat his man to that foot of space, and then he’s got the skill to deliver a mean ball. Strength, Pace and Good Delivery; he’s a classic Winger.

Nani is twice as technical considering he’s got pace and can cross and shoot on either foot, but since joining us he’s pretty much been too good for his own good. Nani isn’t a brute like Valencia, so its not his game to run through players and barge past em while shielding the ball. Nani’s game is all about touch and go, holding up the ball facing defenders while other players run behind into position, or passing it early and making the run himself to get the ball back. Nani needs players of his specific quality around him to really shine.

The Problem is our midfield hasn’t been shaped to play that type of game. Pains me to say it, but for the last few Seasons Nani would’ve performed a lot better and scored alot more goals at a few other Clubs just because he’d have more players to touch and go with. Ticky Tacky if you will. As brilliant as Giggs has adapted to midfield he hasn’t got the legs to do that touch and go role, but he hasn’t had to, his footballing brain allowed him to assist loads of vital goals last Season including a brilliant assist for Nani’s well taken goal against City. Darren Fletcher isn’t that type of touch and go type of player either, and neither was Gibson. Scholes of Old was teh King of touch and go, often BELTING the ball in himself, and Nani would be twice the player if he had the chance to play alongside a young Prince, but time moves on.

But, even though we can’t replace the Prince we can bring in new energy to the middle. Cleverley looks to be a very clever player, he likes to pass short and find space, and we’ve all (hopefully?) seen what Young can do in the middle with Villa-Calibre players, so next season im expecting the very best from Nani becuase he should have the support from midfield that he’s clearly needed. Thats why Tony is favoured by alot of Reds, he’s effective. You stick him on, he stays strong beats his man and crosses a good ball. Nani has much more to his game but theres no point sticking him out left if our midfield can’t help him adapt there with some touch and go and some energetic movement. Young pops up all over the pitch, provides assists from all over the pitch and Scores from all over the pitch. He’s the type of player that Nani’s been missing imo.

Plus, I think Nani’s been class for not complaining about anything. Him and his two feet could walk into any Club in Europe for top, top dollar but he never complains. Ever. And people still have a problem with him.

  85. WHAT ??? says:

It never looks that lengthy when your writing it Lol

    Take it Easy Fellas

  86. one two says:

good news: today cleverly starts. We can see how he cops with the pressure situations. If he puts a good shift tonight then he is a certain for next season.Hope he does well.

  87. Rai says:

Kings – Hello mate. I haven’t seen a lot of De Gea if I’m honest until all the rumours started – then I took time to watch a few games and from what I saw he looks very promising. The usual erratic behaviour of a young keeper wasn’t evident in the games I saw so hopefully the deal can be concluded in time for him to get a good pre season with us. I agree about Pat, if he has a few dodgy games or doesn’t perform to his best – the Boss will have no qualms about putting Fabio at left back. Those two lads have really come on well and I think by the end of the year they’ll both be very prominent in our first choice IX. Like I said earlier I can see Fabio fulfilling Parks roll if needed.

What are your thoughts on Tunni and the other Youth Team lads? Do you think they’ll be given a chance of will they be loaned out?

  88. WHAT ??? says:

One more thing, when Nani’s standing there doing step overs on the edge of the box, THATS the moment Messi makes the run, Nani slips a simple ball through, and a goal is scored.

Watch us for the past season with Nani being first team, whenever he’s in that position all our attackers are all waiting for the ball in the air. How often is somebody running on the outside s Nani can lay it to them and they can cross from the flank at a better angle? Or when Nani’s on the edge of the box, how many times do players go to him so we can keep possession and SKILLFULLY get the ball into the box?

Having Valencia to “knock em in” is brilliant, but we need to sort out midfield so Nani has more options than whipping a cross into a box full of defenders of trying to score. People get frustrated at Nani on the edge of teh box, I get frustrated at the lack of creative movement from out players. Its got fuck all to do with Barca, but next season we need to improve on how we hold and work the ball around the box. Having a player like Nani but only using him like Valencia is a waste of his talent imo.

    Laters Reds.

  89. one two says:

@what??? i agree with you man.Nani is twice the talent than tony v.But he doesn’t have the outlet to put it through. If we have one player to assist nani (that player can be fabio/rafael),then we can see madrids and milans coming with 40m to us.For half the the season he made us tick. Its totally different than tony.Ok lets put it in simple words.Nani is a Match winner but with all respect to valencia he is not.

  90. Zelh says:

de gea plays more precise passes than henderson

  91. T4M says:

One two,why do we have to compare nani and tonyV?why can’t we just say we have 2 great wide men?

  92. Zelh says:

Javi Martinez is such a great talent. so pity he has a buyout clause of 40m€ plus taxes.
    would cost around 70m€..

  98. Berba's Grandpa says:

    @Utd4life
Yeah it’s pretty terrible, but that move just now that ended with Cleverly coming close was damn good, and Jones and Welbeck were heavily involved too.
I love how Jones dribbles the ball out of the defence and builds the attacks from the back. He’s great with the ball at his feet just like Rio, but seems to take advantage of that fact and use that attribute even more than our Rio does

  99. Utd4life says:

@Berba’s Grandpa..Yeah, Jones and Smalling are in a league of their own..The same cant be said about the others..Cleverley’s tried to be creative but his passes havent come off..But England would be creating a lot more chances if Tom was in CM instead of Henderson..

  100. Zelh says:

I bet brucie is laughing his arse off about the money he got from dogleash

  101. Berba's Grandpa says:

Yet more great footwork from our boys at the back (great move by Smalling this time, skillful little dribble), yet another wayward pass from Henderson.
    Story of England’s tournament

  102. sachu says:

    @zelh
mate , i think kuzsack is a better passer than henderson

  103. Utd4life says:

Smalling is just toying around with the Czeckh players..The composure he has on the ball is amazing..if I were Rio, I would be very worried..

  104. The Fly says:

Phil Jones is the new captain. Love it.

  105. Rai says:

Chico would have revelled playing with an in prime Paul Scholes. Imagine the cutting through balls – teams would have been destroyed :) Will Scholes be coaching with the first team or the younger players? I read a week ago that he wasn’t sure himself but whatever age group he coaches will benefit.

  106. sachu says:

    PALLISTER AND BRUCE

    RIO AND VIDIC

    SMALLING AND JONES

also pls shift cleverley to centre for fucks sake

  107. Utd4life says:

Strong CB pair, shite MF, fast wingers with no end product and good forwards with absolutely no service from the MF..story of England..

  108. CedarsDevil says:

    Evening all true REDS

Not sure where to start on the Little Pea…. When we signed him a lot of United fans were concerned simply because he was not a house hold name, I for one was not. Who had heard of Ole when we signed him? Sometimes people question my blind faith in Sir Alex but its really how I feel and I am sure he will again surprise us this summer, non of that crap of a superstar signing.

I would also like to thank smartalex, Kings and King Eric for highlighting the fact that all is transfer crap be left to where it belongs i.e. a relative thread…. We had some fantastic debates this morning on RoM and most that were present wanted to do just that, i.e. discuss the game rather than spout silly names about and how much they could cost….

Finally, I had my final injection this afternoon fellas, out of my sedation now and feeling lovely… many thanks to all the well wishers

  109. united.george says:

Smalling does not look like an U21 player….He has more composure than most players on senior teams.

    Henderson, yeah right…..

  110. sachu says:

    @rai
mate scholes is coaching younger players.
good news for likes of pogba

off topic solskjaer said our signing mat mahler daehli is a world beater
and as good as any 16 yr old in europe

  111. Zelh says:

get Cleverley in the centre and take henderson out of this game and albrighton on the wing.
but I bet he doesn’t have the balls to take the 20m-man out of this game.

  112. T4M says:

Mr dogleash,I hope you haven’t lost the receipt you got from sunderland lolol

  113. man_utd_19 says:

Get Cleverley in the fucking centre of the park!
Henderson, Muamba, and Sinclair are shite

  114. sachu says:

    rafael smalling jones fabio

    OH HELL YEAH

  115. man_utd_19 says:

Hernandez is fucking class by the way… Great attitude and a goal machine… Hope he stays for years to come :)

  116. Dave Malaysia says:

@King Eric: Tq for yr kind words in the other article. Like to say this, spurs are at the crossroads now, they are going thru that top club journey, make or break for them now.

If they hold on to modric, sign a few more good players, consolidate that team, then they have to win something next season. If not modric will walk next summer, probaly vdv ,bale .

Fergie , I keep saying will know EXACTLY who he needs, Precise, no hype or media bullshit.

He knows exactly which position ,which character ,how and when.

Now its down to the negotiations. He possibly inquired bout modric, maybe moved on . Maybe bit smoke to help drive the price up and make other clubs take a huge chunk of thier budget to sign him.
    gorrila warfare.

  117. fergie is the boss says:

WHAT ??? – I have said this time and time again, what is out there. Modric is to stupid to realise the problems going on at chelsea, Sanchez is never the answer has ronaldo showed against barca in 2009. What is also a worry is carrick’s age, forget about replacing scholes, we will need someone in the next phew years that is the linch pin of the team for the next 5 years. No question carrick fletcher giggs and anderson are not enough for next season.

  118. sachu says:

I THINK SPURS ARE RIGHT IF HENDERSON IS 20PLUS
    THEN MODRIC IS 1 BILLION

  119. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@Cedars, Great to hear that buddy. Now where the fuck is that photo you promised. If you want you can just mail it to me, I’ll upload it on my Photobucket or Imageshack and Link it here. :)

On-Topic, As I said in the last thread, I love the Little Pea as much as one man can love another without being homosexual. If I had been married right now, my wife would’ve possible divorced me as I am guessing many of you are already filing divorce papers.

  120. Rai says:

Cheers Sachu – where did you read that? I’ve been looking online but can’t find anything so if you could send me a link that would be great.

Cedars – Glad to hear you’re doing well my friend – take it easy and look after yourself

  121. one two says:

@T4M, bcoz we can only find the best by comparing.
could any please remind pearce that cleverly is not a wideman but he is a good(ok better than cunt kenny boot aka henderson) fucking central midfiels player.Oh man i hate watching england. It needs lot of patience to watch them.

  122. sachu says:

    @fitb
    mate , sneijder
by the way javi martinez of spain looks good

  123. Balaji Sivaraman says:

BTW, Rory Mcllroy doing a Manchester United in the U.S. Open.

He did an Arsenal at The Masters.

  124. smartalex says:

I Say! WHAT ??? Jolly good post, keep it up lad!

  125. Zelh says:

sachu – forget about javi martinez right away. buyout clause 40m+taxes. would be around 70m at the end.

  126. sachu says:

    @rai
mate, i heard scholes say that on manutd.com

  127. sachu says:

    @zelh
    thank you very much
40 million for a 20 yrd old jesus
i do like him and juan mata

  128. Zelh says:

sachu – bilbao had to do this otherwise he would already play for real or barca.

  129. Utd4life says:

Scholes needs to give MF 101 classes if England are to ever harbour any hopes of winning a major title..That MF of Henderson and Muamaba is depressing to watch..

  130. Louis says:

    Hi all
Apparently, Sanchez has signed for Barca.

  131. Rai says:

    Here we go again…………………………………………………………………………

  132. Dave Malaysia says:

I do wonder about henderson. he is good but the 20 mil question is just how good?
We know Fergie watched him and the kid liked us.
    So what happened?

kenny is rebuilding ,trying to have a more british feel to the team, repairing the damage that rafa did .
But it looks like he has spent so much money and its not quite the real thing is it?
We play these guys early ,away, dangerous, they will be so fired up,u cud light a bonfire.
The pressure and expectation, can they handle it?

Did we actually get the real player and they a ok player? Now this french marveux kid 99% goin to join them, instead goes to newcastle. I think they missed another good player.

So This is Fergie making a huge brilliant move that will have a huge impact for next season and the future.
I feel Phil Jones is the actual deal. Last year it was Chris and Chica. Absolutely briiliant.
So all the homework and hard work by our scouts and management team is paying off.
The seagulls swooped and swooped and still missed .

Ferguson the Jason Bourne of football. Dont mess with da boss.

  133. Zelh says:

    No YoungChez hasn’t signed yet.

  134. Cyril Sneer says:

Kenny: So? Wha’ tha fuck does tha’ mean ya cunt?

Remember: the ABUnati are everywhere and they could be posing as anyone. Even Nigella!

  135. Louis says:

Chilean papers are reporting hes signed for Barca for 33 mil.

  136. smartalex says:

CedarsDevil, was it not perhaps at that 4 day wedding weekend that hammered you?

Balaji Sivaraman, very funny “McIlroy did an Arsenal” I’m still laughing!

Dave Malaysia – Gorilla? Mine are playing misty for me.

  137. CedarsDevil says:

    Rai & Balaji

Thanks for you wishes my friends, much appreciated…. My nurse related jokes are no longer valid…

    Balaji

I have tried several times to upload the photo on imageshack.us yet every time I keep getting error messages, I would love to email it to you as I am sure you are much better equipped to take care of it than this old fool!

smartalex – How are you my friend?

  138. Cyril Sneer says:

@xol – Really liked your prequel on the other post, great stuff! Poor Ollie, I really must get round to calling him sometime to see if he’s okay. :-D

  139. Dave Malaysia says:

@Balaji: Nigella wont dvorce u,she dont mind .

  140. MG says:

MG: I support the best club in the world

  141. Zelh says:

    Henderson off.
    great move

  142. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@Dave, Kenny Dalglish is ruining the entire market by paying over the odds for “just” good players. In all seriousness, 35 million for Carrol and 20 million for Henderson is just a joke. There is no other way to put it. If I was the Liverpool owner, I would seriously question the aptitude Kenny has shown in the transfer market. They never were, are not and never will be worth that kind of money.

@What ??, Great posts regarding Nani. He will always be one of my pet peeves but I agree with you in that he definitely needs the right players around him to shine. This is one of the things I’ve also noted in some of the interchanges between him and Berbatov in the past season. Next season will again be crucial for him and depending our setup, could see him get more freedom than usual.

Also, “It never looks that lengthy when your writing it Lol” – Couldn’t agree more. :P

  143. Louis says:

Smalling and Jones are Englands two best players today. Happy days.

  144. Zelh says:

    isn’t landsbury a wide player?
wtf is he playing in the henderson position and not cleverley?

  145. CedarsDevil says:

If there was some sort of award to be given out for creative writing on here than my vote would go to both Cyril Sneer and MG………….. Loved the Nigella cup cakes bit :-)

smartalex – No buddy, the 4 day wedding took care of my liver! :-) The problem I just had was/is with my kidneys! hahaha

  146. MG says:

I want to learn to write short posts

  147. Dave Malaysia says:

Now a gorilla and nigella are walking down the street, they spot a zulu man in a skirt, they start skipping and singing to the tune of wizard of oz. Then a camel with an indian from dubai comes jiggling along, beside him is a lebanese eating kebabs……………. and ……………..

  148. MG says:

    I love Nigella’s cooking

  149. MG says:

    Nigella is outstandingly hot though

  150. fergie is the boss says:

sachu – the price has got to be right, and I have been naive with scneijder. Great player but can he play a 2 man midfield, and his age also does worry me. Also will he be another veron and berbatov, where he takes ages to settle, or never does. Fergie will just pull a rabbit out of the hat. De gea and young improves and strengthens the first 11, Jones will add depth and put together a brilliant future for united’s defence.

  151. MG says:

Could have a career in short posts

  152. Zelh says:

was sturridge serious with that freekick?

  153. Anya Felix Onuchukwu says:

who can tell me the wounder behid this Manchester united up growing super star Chicharito Hernandez.he say’s he is in best club in the world.i love with all my heart and soul.

  154. Louis says:

Apparently Rory supports United. Anyone know if thats true?

  155. Zelh says:

    de gea saved penalty.
    boy this kid is unbelieveable.

  156. CedarsDevil says:

Keep yours the way we love them buddy…

    Spoken to Arry lately?

  162. MG says:

  163. Zelh says:

    Smalling again.
    tremendous block.

  164. Fred says:

Chris Smalling, what a fucking signing. Phil Jones not too fucking shabby either. Man United sign the fucking best.

  165. MG says:

Oh and the chairman is making a complete fool out of himself – and we are on our best behaviour just in case they get Chelsea done for tapping up

  166. Fred says:

God almighty, the future is fucking bright.

  167. smartalex says:

CedarsDevil, I’m well, thanks! So now that you’ve had a full service we should get another
10,000 posts out of you before the next one.

Cyril Sneer, Another epic episode in the ABUnati tales! Today’s was even better, thanks!

Dave Malaysia, it sounds like you have the makings of a great script at 21:10. Flesh it out!

  168. united.george says:

    goodbye england…..czech equalize in 89th minute….

  169. Zelh says:

    goodbye ingurland.

  170. Fred says:

Stuart Pearce – time’s up, pal. Time to get a manager who has a fucking clue about how to play good football in charge of the under-21s.

  171. smartalex says:

    A family of footballers!

  172. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@Dave Malaysia, LOL! Camel with an Indian from Dubai, you wouldn’t be talking about me, would you?

@Cedars, I would gladly oblige my friend. Email me at: bsivaraman.11@gmail.com and I would get it up ASAP. :)

@smartalex, Cheers mate. I thought it just fit perfectly with what Rory has been doing. I love him to bits though.

  173. Zelh says:

    doesn’t really matter if 1-1 or 2-1

  174. fergie is the boss says:

Fred – it is not just united sign the best. we have the best scouts in the game today, that gets us to the front of signing players, club after club become totally unaware they are that good

  175. CedarsDevil says:

    smartalex

10,000 you say> Way too conservative buddy! :-)

  176. Fred says:

Oh well, at least Psycho Pearce has shown our young quartet all about “bulldog spirit”.

  177. WHAT ??? says:

Don’t worry Lads at least your all coming home to Manchester.

Tell you what, theres a certain MANC whose gonna give Hernandez a run for his money next Season, and thats what we want at United, competition not complacency. Danny’s got it all in his locker, and most importantly he’s got great feet, v. comfortable on the ball and he links play well as we saw last Season. He left with a few on here not expecting him to come back. I hope he gets the credit he’s already deserved when he returns – 6 EPL goals mostly playing wide and 5 playing upfront for a shite England u21.

Might not take anybodys fancy but he’s a tasty fucking player!!

  178. man_utd_19 says:

Smalling solid as ever at the back tonight. Phil Jones wasn’t bad either!
    Also, good goal by Welbeck

  179. Balaji Sivaraman says:

@Cyril, Oh my God, that was awesome.

I seriously mean this, if you know someone who can draw up Internet comics, I think you should seriously consider getting into it. With the right artist, you could make awesome AbuNati comics. I mean, I would honestly pay to read them up with illustrations. Even if you don’t want to make money out of it, Illustrated AbuNati comics would be the next best thing. Come on man!

  180. orez says:

After watching U21 I can safely conclude that the English youngsters are as much of donkeys as the signors team. That central midfield was a disgrace. I am also not that impressed with Jones. 18 mil? You got to be fucking kidding me. I was happy with Welbeck’c contribution, nit sure about Cleverley. Well in any way it’s over, but it must be really disheartening for English fans and don’t even starts Wilshire and Carrol who are two other overrated donkeys.

  181. Zelh says:

Orez – Cleverley was played out of position all the time. Is best in the centre and can play on the left but on the right? He never played there.
Jones did a good job at the back and tried to get his team forward.
Smalling was just a rock like the always.

  182. CedarsDevil says:

Who is this England you all speak of?

  183. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

Many thanks my friend, the email is on its way….. Just do not go selling the photo to the tabloids! Well if you do then I want my share….. :-)

  184. Balaji Sivaraman says:

  185. smartalex says:

    CedarsDevil, excellent!
And you can still get a nurse in every other week to keep you ticking over nicely!

I’ve not been able to watch these Junior Euro’s, still living on low bandwidth.
From all reports on RoM it seems that Smalling is stealing the show, with Jones also doing well.
I’m glad Welbeck is scoring, he’ll be full of confidence in the States. It sounds like Cleverly is peripheral, which is a shame. He will still get his chance at United this season, and won’t go on loan.

  186. willierednut says:

Chuck D is the epitome of public enemy, in a good way.

Stuart Pearse is the epitome of English football, in a bad way.

  187. Costas says:

Well done to our kids. We may not have many United players in Capello’s shitty team, but the future is red.

In other news, Sanchez will join Barcelona. Shocking!

  188. WHAT ??? says:

@ One Two – Gotta disagree mate TONY is blatantly a match winner, more than one way to win a match, and even if you mean putting it in the net 7 first season and 3 last season after a horrible injury, I think he deserves more credit mate. Valencia is a fantastic player, just a different type of player to Nani. They both have a skill the other doesn’t have so they are both very important to us. Personally I’d love to see them in the same team with Nani on the Left, but we’ll need an improved midfield first.

    @ SmartAlex, Balaji, Cheers Fellas.

@ FITB – mate Giggs and Scholes is one thing but If I starting pondering on the players we’ll need to replace Carrick when he RETIRES I’d never sleep Pal!

Lol @ Nigella, gotta say she doesn’t even look half bad after putting on quite a bit of weight. Everynight after I’d had my wicked way I’d slap her arse and tell her to make me a posh sandwich and some banana fritas with ice cream.

Thats the football fix satisfied…. Laters Reds!

  189. Who the fuck a you Who the fuck are you says:

  191. Cyril Sneer says:

@ Balaji – thank you so much. i read comics for many years (always was a Marvel boy and a few indies) so I am very flattered by your comments. i never actually wrote anything creative in my life so i’m happy that everyone is enjoying my posts. I dont know any artists/animators but that is probably a good thing as i might get into more trouble with the ABUnati :-) I may have to arrange some sort of archive though.

  192. willierednut says:

Rather them, than wee city. At least we’ll get the jones deal sorted out next week.

  193. Cyril Sneer says:

@ Cedars – great picture! Very cute. :-)

  194. CedarsDevil says:

Balaji – Cheers buddy but the link is not working here…. I keep getting an error message. I hope others have a chance to enjoy it if it works for them…..Glad you liked it

England, yes great memories living there and visiting OT every week and 1966 was truly a great year for English football………. Its the year when Eric Cantona was born

  195. man_utd_19 says:

    @ smartalex

Cleverley wasn’t that bad, but he was played on the right wing… I am of the opinion that he is far better in the centre of the field. Still think he’ll get his chances this coming season and he can hopefully show us what he’s all about.
Smalling is a fucking rock at the back… Composed, always aware of what’s going on around him and tackles like a brave warrior!
Jones is quite good too, although in my opinion he sometimes suffers from short lapses in concentration, which allow opponents to take advantage of the situation. But under the guidance of the great SAF he’ll undoubtedly improve into a top class player.
Welbeck looks promising too… Always trying to pressure the opposition to get the ball back and gets into good positions too. Sometimes lacks a bit of ball control, but I think he’ll also improve under the guidance of SAF.

The future is bright! Now for that 20th :)

  196. Cyril Sneer says:

The link works fine for me…

  197. WHAT ??? says:

@ Orez – it ain’t the team its the managment. Even excluding the United lads, Sturidge finished his season on 10 goals in 20 or something daft. Him and Welbeck as the main u21 strikers should be scoring as freely as the Spanish lot but the management is lacking. Fuck all to do with England players, I don’t buy that for a moment. Its the management and everybody lumbering these young players with all that “Bulldog Spirit” bollocks. They can represent their country with pride without all that Crap, it drags the team down. England need a new manager, brand fucking new, with new ideas. Capello is NO DIFFERENT to Sven, and thats why the results are the same. Its not the players its the set up.

  198. united.george says:

    @Cedars – very cute….mabrook.

  199. Costas says:

    @willie

Lets get that and the Young deal out of the way and then focus on a CM.

  200. CedarsDevil says:

    Cyril

Cheers buddy, glad you were able to see it….. I cannot though! Seems my friend smartalex cannot as well…..

Really wanted to share it with everyone. Hopefully my friend Balaji will sort it out

  201. Zibbie says:

Cedars what a photo, now that puts a smile on my heart. Smiling like one of those yellow faces.
God bless with a good fight. No more needles!!! And cheers to nurses every where.

Cheers lads. Please tell me if none of the above links work for you. :)

  203. WHAT ??? says:

Smalling and Jones look like they’ll make a good partnership, and Welbeck just confirmed what I always suspected. Cleverley needs to put on a United shirt and get some games first, not far to pass judgement playing such negative ANTI-FOOTBALL.

It might feel good, It might sound a little something
BUT FUCK THE GAME IF IT AINT SAYING NOTHING!!!

  204. CedarsDevil says:

    united.george

Many thanks buddy, the picture is a few years old now but I appreciate the sentiment

  205. Balaji Sivaraman says:

ROM doesn’t allow multiple links, so you’re going to bear with me on the individual multiple posts.

I am really sorry. I posted all in the same and it is Awaiting Moderation.

  208. willierednut says:

Costas – Yeah mate. Lets try and get all transfer business done, before the American tour. I’ve a feeling we went for Sanchez in hope, rather than expectation. He was probably citys main target, not ours.

  209. Zibbie says:

@Cyril Sneer, illuminating facts about the ABUnati. Glad to see your still alive. Kenny gonna get ya.

  210. Rai says:

Cedars – You must be a very proud man my friend :)

  211. Zelh says:

    What Sanchez signed for Barca?
    Didn’t see that coming!

  212. CedarsDevil says:

    Balaji

You are a super star, this one works….. Now for the rest of you ….. PLEASE click on that link

  213. CedarsDevil says:

  214. willierednut says:

Off topic, come on Rory! Bring that sucker home lad! Move over Tiger, there’s a new force in town! :)

  215. smartalex says:

    man_utd_19

Thanks for that review. Is England still in the competition?

  216. Zibbie says:

Rory McILROY the white Tiger ? to the tune the white Pele for Rooney?
The crowed seems to love him. That would be 2 years in a row Man Utd season ticket holders win the US Open. Top pros rushing for season tickets at Old Trafford.

  217. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Cedars, As I said, always glad to help my friend. The last one will surely work as it is from my own domain. :)

@willie, As I said, Rory is doing da business in The U.S. Open. He is also a Manchester United fan. No wonder he is doing so well. :D

@Cyril, I really meant it my friend. The first thought that popped into my head as I read that was that it would make a great comic series. Don’t worry about the AbuNati, you’ve got a bucket load of United fans behind you. :)

All, Sorry for all the multiple posts with the links but I couldn’t wait till my comment got through moderation and all that. On the other hand, Cedars’ Daughter is all over the internet right now. :)

  218. willierednut says:

Cedars – Hope your little bundle of joy, got her mums looks? :D

Seriously though, nice picture mate. :)

  219. CedarsDevil says:

Thanks to Balaji here is a link for the photo that all can enjoy!

  222. Fred says:

Oh wow, is that really your daughter, Cedars? She’s beautiful and that picture is just adorable! Congratulations and happy Fathers Day! :)

  223. Zibbie says:

    Dito to Fred.

  224. united.george says:

@smartalex – england is out of the competition….finished 3rd in the group with spain winning the group and czech second. It was a must win today and even leading 1-0 they allowed czech to score in the 89th minute and another in extra time…..czech only needed a draw anyway.

odd to lose considering england had something like over 60% posession..

  225. Clint-IamYourPapii says:

Cedars – Awwwh Thats a Great Pic Mate Congrats Glad to United Blood Runs in your family too.

Soon she’ll be on RoM Screaming 19 & Giving you a Run for your Posts.Perhaps even lay into CarBangrick

  226. smartalex says:

I’ve never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight,
I’ve never seen you shine so bright, you were amazing,
I’ve never seen so many people want to be there by your side,
And when you turned to me and smiled, it took my breath away,
And I have never had such a feeling,
    Such a feeling of complete and utter love, as I do tonight;

The lady in red is dancing with me,
There’s nobody here, it’s just you and me,
It’s where I want to be,
But I hardly know this beauty by my side,
    I’ll never forget the way you look tonight;

I never will forget the way you look tonight…
The lady in red, the lady in red,

    Cedars loves you

  227. Cyril Sneer says:

@ Zibbie – ha ha, i’m not too worried about Kenny, I have backup. i may not be able to look at Nigella in the same way though :-( Beware: They are everywhere…

  228. CedarsDevil says:

    Fred

Yes she is buddy, the picture is a few years old, she was only one month old at the time…. And thankfully and as Willie says she does now take after her mom and not me!

  229. smartalex says:

Thanks united.george for that news on England. Well I guess the good part is our boys get to leave the clutches of the evil FA.

  230. Zibbie says:

Well my brother called. A boat ride on the upper Mississippi and a fire on the beach. Young women in bikinis. See ya later wild wild world of RoM.

  231. Fred says:

Awww she’s at a great age now, Cedars. I hope you’re enjoying every minute of it. :)

  232. Fred says:

Have a great time, Zibbie. :)

  233. willierednut says:

Zibbie – Take some pictures! Crazy dude.

  234. Zibbie says:

Cedars a special day on top of fathers day for you, god bless and no more shots. Peace out RoM.

  235. Balaji Sivaraman says:

While Zibbie looks at real women in bikinis, I will be hoping that Nigella shows up in – or without – one in my dreams. ;)

    Good Night ROM!

  236. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Oh, and Cedars, Happy Fathers Day buddy.

I don’t know whether you planned for it or not but that you shared the photo on this special day makes a good coincidence.

    God Bless my friend!

  237. CedarsDevil says:

    smartalex

Cheers for that Chris song buddy, one of the first me and my ex danced to…. Dedicated to young Maya (My daughter’s name) and the new devil on the block….

Beware all bitters and dippers Maya will tear your heart out

  238. willierednut says:

Balaji – Happy dreaming mate! :)

  239. Zibbie says:

I will lads, my brother has a 32 foot Baja that goes over 70 MPH and my lady still turns heads at 42 on the beach. And she is more beautiful on the inside. Hes here, we will be at the docks in 25 min and going 70 on the water in 30 mins. Live life take a bite before it bites you.

  240. Dandivine7 says:

Hello Everyone, Sanchez to Barca, I’ve maintained that He’ll be a good but not a vital signing for Us, at least We wont deal with ‘I have a dream’ in the future. Hearing that City slapped in a late £40m bid (UNCONFIRMED) For Him…makes One laugh at them… Agree with @Willie and Costas, Lets get all Our business done and have a comprehensive pre season. THANK GOD Our players are rested, We’ll Only Get Better…

  241. CedarsDevil says:

Thanks for all the happy father’s day wishes my friends…

By the way, Maya asks, have we signed anyone yet?

  242. Dandivine7 says:

Hernandez is a Jewel, always smiling. Love Him So Much, Welbeck tonight showed why He’ll be given a chance at OT, The Future’s Bright. BTW just heard the city £40m bid was a hoax and city fans were already celebrating online!! You’ve got to love these guys, I’m certainly not ruling out a tatoo or two alreay tonight lol

  243. Kings says:

Rai – Hello mate. I sincerely hope the likes of Tunni, Pogba and Morrison get a look in for the first team next season and not loaned out.

  244. smartalex says:

No Maya, we haven’t signed anyone yet!

Well done CedarsDevil! Your daughter is lovely, and sure to be a true Red!

  245. Rai says:

Kings – I hope they’re given a chance before being loaned out – I can see the benefits as Cleverley has taken a lot from the past couple of years and his improvement is a testament to his hard work and the experience of regular first team football. Before anyone is loaned it would be good to see how they fare as they are.

  246. MG says:

    Cedars
