A great honour for a great guy.
I put this stat earlier, but I found an other even deeper one. Which breaks the myth of Chicha being only a supersub and contributing more from there. Not saying he’s not good coming from the subs, but he’s better when he starts.
CHICHARITO @ MANCHESTER UNITED
2010-2011: 45/20 ~ start: 27, goals 12 ~ sub: 18, goals: 8 ~ scored in 17 games = 37.7%
2011-2012: 36/12 ~ start: 22, goals: 10 ~ sub: 14, goals: 2 ~ scored in 10 games = 27.7%
2012-2013: 21/12 ~ start:12, goals: 8 ~ sub: 9, goals: 4 ~ scored in 9 games = 42.8% Overall:
starts: 61, goals: 30, scored in 23 games = 37.7%
sub: 41, goals: 14, scored in 13 games = 31.7%
102 games, 44 goals, scored in 36 games = 35.2%
11 assists ~
2010-2011: 4,
2011-2012: 3,
2012-2013: 4.
De Gea, Rafael, Evans, Smalling, Buttner, Vidic, Cleverley, Scholes, Kagawa, Welbeck, Hernandez
Why no flecth?
Anyone know the bench?
I think this is 352 right?
Hernandez deserves nothing less. His humility is always refreshing. Congratulations lad.
Congrats chica “devender night mire”
Can you believe it? That Ferguson opts for the young ineffective Welbeck, some say total rubbish in a United shirt, in preference to Hernandez, a proven goal scorer. We know that you like your pal, the West Ham Manager, but is this not carrying it too far? Where is your loyalty Ferguson?
Given that his countryman Juan Manuel Marquez just flattened none other than Manny Pacquiao like a pancake, I’d say that this is a pretty big honor that’s been bestowed on the lad.
He should be a first team regular – proven goal scorer unlike Wellbeck
Give more games or he will be off -
Some of the comments in here are just pathetic.
Chris Nicholls I suppose you just started to support United yesterday.
SAF said fletch would only play if the field wasnt to heavy. The man has the shits. He does not have the energy to play high tempo games on heavy fields.
Great honor for someone who really deserves it.. As someone already mentioned, his approach to the game and his humility is extremely refreshing in specially today’s football world.. Other players would bitch and whine about playing time but Chicha has always understood his role at United and has had nothing but the most amazing things to say..
may he score atleast another 100 for us and Mexico!
I have total respect towards Javier Hernandez. He has been left third, if not, fourth choice in the strikers order and I NEVER ever ever ever ever heard or read anywhere about him complaining. Nothing about sitting in the bench for too long, wanting a bigger contract or needing more playing time. Still every single time the gaffer tells him to go and rescue us in the 60th minute of the game, he always did his best. I have every respect for the man that he is and I hope he can add towards his skill and learn those magical first touches and finishing from RVP.

Yea, that is my stats from ManUtd Community, I have been detailing Chicha’s United career since we sigined him, such a great young striker and will become a United legend, well he is already a United legend and will only get better.
All i need to know about the GREAT Cheech happened at West Ham and why I’d rather see him than Welbeck
Squares ball to Welbeck for him to score (albeit offside)
Pulls the ball across the box to put Cleverly in for a goal
Welbeck TWICE takes the selfish option after Hernandez runs miles to catch up and offer a passing option clear through on net.
Welbeck is a selfish ordinary forward who offers very;little in attack, he is jealous of Chicharito because Chicha is a far superior footballer who offers massively in scoring, attacking and offers alot in bringing others into the game and creating chances for other players. Welbeck will never be as good as Chicharito and that is a fact, I will not be blinded by fact Welbz is a Manc and United fan, he is no Chicharito and never will be.If the runours are true concerning a loan move for Welbeck (doubt they are), it is good as he needs to go on another move on loan and get some more time to improve and remember what it means to fight for a chance at United, something he seems to have forgotten since he got first team football, a big money contract and England caps. Chicha is always fighting for the team, on and off the pitch, he bleeds Manchester United and that is why he is quickly becoming a legend at this great club.Chicha is a great player who plays for the club whiles Welbz plays for himself.
