Chicharito: Playing For United Is A Dream Come True

Two weeks after his agent revealed that a new five year deal had been agreed, Manchester United have announced that Javier Hernandez has extended his contract with the club.

“Playing for Manchester United has been a dream come true for me,” he said. “I never expected my first year to go so well and I’m delighted to commit my future to United. To win a title and appear in a Champions League final was fantastic. I’m looking forward to helping my teammates as we bid to win more trophies for this great club.”

    Much needed positive news! We all love Hernandez and this was excellent. In these days, one does not get the opportunity to say “What a great guy” in a genuine manner about someone, but in Chichas case, its 100% genuine… What a great guy!

    Anyone that cried for joy when signing for us is a player worth having. Shame the support from central midfield is bobbins.

    Love you Chico.

    Great news. Keeps the virus of Madrid away for a few years. A much needed sweetner after the dreadful day yesterday

    Just like what ‘Gorse Hill Red’ said above, anyone that cried for joy when signing for United is a player worth having. I wouldn’t mind seeing Hernandez get a run beside Danny Welbeck in the coming games with Rooney sitting back into midfield – bossing play. Berbatov could easily partner one of the strikers too.

  7. berbatov9 says:

    good job…now set the scouts all out to search for a proven midfield player….we need one or two ASAP!!!

  8. red says:

    Great news, just need QUALITY in center midfield now to give him GOOD service.

    We got found out BIG TIME Sunday! Not good enough in that area.

    Still fuming!

  9. T4M says:

    Berbatov9 we need 3 midfielders and 2 fullbacks

    Chicharito! We love you, now go to Goodison Park next Sat and help the team to redeem 3 pts!

  11. berbatov9 says:

    @T4M

    just two proven midfielder would do…someone that can equal Silva…who am I kidding…who else can…come on scout that found Chicharito…work your magic again…find one quality midfielder out of nowhere…

    What was that saying leveled against me again,oh yes the boy who cried wolf and the other one that’s shit talk fella you’ll be proved wrong as you usually are.Hah wonder if the world class player/legend committee are re assessing.Our back line with Rapfael in situ and Smalling replacing Rio and Fabio backup for Evra is solid our attack is fearsome no problems there so that only leaves one area that is our problem child.Deal with it Fergie..

  13. Fibes says:

    I really hope we don’t sign some classless cunt from abroad. I’d rather we pop big Rooners in the midfield and beef it up that way. More room up front for the pea, you see?

  14. NotoriousRedDevil says:

    So just like the Bayern game when we went out, the club announce this news in an attempt to gloss over a terrible defeat. Not going to fucking work this time, will be reminded of yesterday well into the retirement home. Not sure if any of the players give a fuck.

    @T4M

    75% SPOT ON!!!

    We need 2 fullbacks and 2 midfielders, as I think Tom Cleverly can fill some of the void in our midfield, only thing is that he has not proved any consistency yet. But three new midfielders would for sure exclude him of any chances of first team action….

  16. WillieRedNut says:

    I don’t see how Rafael would make any difference yesterday. Problems in CM are the issue.

  17. berbatov9 says:

    @WillieRedNut

    Kompany look solid because Yaya Toure Barry and Milner do the dirty job to stop our game in midfield…
    hate to say this but milner look miles better than ando and fletch last night…

    we do need alan smith or cunttevez type of player in the midfield…player who can break up play…player who can chase after the ball…our midfield make silva look like messi last night…

    barca looks good becoz all player chase after the ball when they lose it…to play good football you have to have posession…in the past 5 to 6 years i never saw we play high pressure when we lose the ball…

  18. parryheid says:

    Point being made is our back line prior to getting messed about with is proven solid,snap with our attackers yet when preseason I said we were substantially weaker this year as our midfield had been shaky for a couple of years and Scholes retiring and not being replaced only exacerbated it,and the result laughed at.

  19. WillieRedNut says:

    I wasn’t laughing. We were all sad clowns yesterday.

  20. parryheid says:

    Ah well matters naught.
