VIDEO: Chicharito Scores For Mexico… Kind Of

Chicharito played in Mexico’s 2-0 win over Bosnia this week and despite having a fairly average game, got his 12th goal for his country.

Hernandez won a penalty in the second half but Bosnian keeper Kenan Hasagic pushed it away. However, the ball bounced out then back over the line. It looked as though defender Miralem Pjanic deflected the ball into his own goal but Hernandez was credited with the goal.

“I didn’t know if it was my goal or if it was an own goal,” Hernandez said. “I celebrated with my team-mates and laughed because of the circumstances that arose. Scoring is always beautiful but it’s better to win. It does you no good if you score three goals and you don’t win.”

    Well done chicharito.

He always scores even if he is being nugged. :p

Btw I got into a scrap with a few city fans on a site and all they could talk about was Munich. Fucking classless cunts. I fucking raped them on everything. Every come back post was Munich 58. Fucking daft twats, wish they was there infront of me, would have knocked the motherfucker outta them.

    Freak.

Adam Bostock on the ref and the little pea.
“16:24 So who’s the referee for Saturday’s skirmish with City? Andre Marriner will be the man in charge, for the third time in a United game this season. He was also the ref for the Community Shield victory over Chelsea, when Chicharito scored with his face, and our 2-1 win at Stoke in October when the same player scored with the back of his head. What price another freak goal from the magic Mexican in the derby?”

  8. Kings says:

A true poacher. Unleash him on Citeh this Saturday.

missed the goal, but he missed a sitter in the first half … for him, it was a shocking miss. I thought everything he shoots ends up on goal.

  14. willierednut says:

Watched Neuer last night, very impressive, with some nice saves against the Italians. Still rumors floating around, he’ll sign for Bayern in the summer.

  15. Sir Ryan Giggs says:

  17. wayne says:

@hammons long flight and 6 hr time difference probably would have some effect on him.read your blog on utd vs city game part there were you said not much difference between the two teams, class and attitude still a massive difference.

  18. willierednut says:

Rossi scored for Italy last night. The lad has improved big time, since he left United.

  22. wayne says:

    fuck that sign ed norton

  23. Paul Parker says:

he’s a lucky sod that boy lol

  24. Paul Parker says:

@ willierednut – wasn’t Hulk the one who punched up a ref in the tunnel and got banned? Only remember seeing him play once, when Arsenal tore Porto apart 5-0 last year, in their 4-3-3 he played both sides and down the middle. Showed good industry, well built strong fast, that type of striker, he didn’t press me much considering the hype, he was just back off the ban mind,

  25. willierednut says:

Paul Parker – He’s not a light weight mate lol. Don’t see United being interested in him, plus, Porto would be looking a big fee for the lad. The way United are playing atm, I don’t think he would fit in in all honesty.

  26. Stephen says:

    Terrible penalty??

The keeper was about 3 yards off his line when he struck it!!

    off topic
what about Denmark’s Erickson as a replacement for scholsy. He looked class and i could say Wilshare is overhyped and Cleverly is better than him.

  29. ahmad yunus says:

He is a lucky guy we need him in our derby even for 10 minutes , he will make the diffrence.

  30. StatesideAussie says:

I can’t see the Little Pea playing on Saturday. Maybe on the bench, but that’s it. It’s not just his recent game, the six-hour flight and the time difference. It’s the fact that the flight comes immediately after the game, and even in first class (I assume he travels “up front”), that’s not a good way for your muscles to recover from the activity. It can result in them tightening up, especially the legs. Last thing we need is to rush him onto the field and tear a calf or a hamstring or something.

  31. FletchTHEMAN says:

Agree with Stateside. I expect the prince (WR10) and Mitko to combine to do the business. Maybe Owen or Giggs coming on late.

Might go with only one up top for 60 minutes but I hope for something more like a 442. Scholes and Ando in the middle, Carrick supporting the backline, Nani on the right.
Want Rio, but expect Rafael, Vidic, Smalling, Evra. Might go for Brown next to Smalling due to experience.
Should be a complete heart stopper of a match.
Come on you Reds! Owen for a late winner?!

  32. willierednut says:

I’ve a feeling Fergie might play the same formation, he played against Arsenal. Park has to start IMO. I’d go with Anderson, Carrick and Fletch in CM, with the Berb up front. If we play 442, we could get over run, but that depends how adventurous Mankini will be on the day.

  33. Costas says:

4-4-2 with Park on the wing works too. Park can become a 3rd midfielder. I’d keep Scholes and Giggs on the bench in case they are needed. The question is who will partner Ando, who imo is our most in form midfielder at the moment.

City can’t afford to just sit back in this one. If they want to win the title anyway…

  34. CedarsDevil says:

    Costas

City will sit back just as they did at the Emirates. Their main aim is top 4 which is a bit naive considering the money they spent. It would suit us better if they did play for the win but I cannot see that happening.

Agreed with your formation of 4 4 2 and as you and Willie mentioned Park must start, he could provide width as well as coming in field for cover when needed. Fletch, Ando, Park and Nani for me. If Rio is not fit I hope Smalling gets the nod…..

  35. willierednut says:

Our 2 against their 3, wouldn’t fill me with any confidence. I’ll stick my neck out and say, we’ll play a 451/433 formation on Saturday.

  36. CedarsDevil says:

    Willie

I think we are on the same page here… The 4 4 2 I mentioned could easily be a 4 3 3. Park Ando and Fletch with Nani Berb and Rooney up top. Park is as we know a very intelligent player, could drift out wide when needed and drift inside as well. Having said that I am sure both Berb and Rooney will start

  37. willierednut says:

    Whats Keano doing this weekend?

  38. CedarsDevil says:

Kicking the shit out of a punching bag with Shearer’s face on it?

  39. FletchTHEMAN says:

Willierednut…. Too true, mate. Maybe Stam as well to shore up CM.

  40. StatesideAussie says:

I am sure the bitters will be conservative. They’ve done that in every match against the leading teams this year. I can’t see Mancini risking us pulling a further 3 points out in front of them. A draw would keep the status quo, and he’ll settle for that. (Hope he doesn’t, though.) So I expect that if we do play both Rooney and Berba, we will see Rooney out wide. I just hope the boss doesn’t drop Berba out, and put Rooney up-front by himself. Here’s why I think he might do that: if he decides to go with 451/433, and also decides he wants Park out-wide with Nani on the other side, while having three in the middle, then it becomes a choice of Rooney or Berba up-front. But surely in that case, he would pick Berba. Wouldn’t he?

  41. willierednut says:

Well, United being at home, we have to take the game to City. If we play a 451, It’s not a negative formation, is it? Only Carrick, you would say, will do the holding job. We can’t lose the midfield battle, that’s for certain.

  42. Costas says:

Doesn’t seem good for Rio. According to some reports, he could miss the Marseille game. I wish SAF gave Wes a run on the side as a central defender, since he has the experience.

  43. CedarsDevil says:

    StatesideAussie

SAF has not picked the same team for something like the last 160 league games or so! Guessing the right line up/formation is as rewarding as winning the lottery!

To be honest at this stage I am not too fussed about all of that, 11 United players will be on that pitch Saturday and those 11 will wipe the shit with those bitters……

    C’MON UNITED

  44. hammertime says:

I would be great to see him come on this weekend, however that means we need a goal, probably late in the game, which is not something we want to deal with against these City assholes. So ultimately, I don’t want to see him, as Rooney and Berba will start ahead of him, and can hopefully get the job DONE!

Chic para el presidente! 35 YEARS!!!

  45. StatesideAussie says:

@willie … right, 451 isn’t negative, when you have two wingers attacking wide and fast, especially when they’re supported by two fullbacks bombing forward at every opportunity. but I still prefer it when we have two strikers in the middle. SAF will want to win, because he always does. It’s built into his DNA. But if Mancini stuffs the midfield and sets out to stifle the game, then that can soon become another boring war of attrition, a real fizzer like we saw at the wastelands earlier this season. Ruins the whole spectacle. But SAF will be aware of this and I’m sure he will have some plan up his sleeve to shit on their party. It could turn out to be a game of two halves, too. The best thing that could happen would be an early goal for us. That would force their hand: nothing to defend, then.

The thing that might change Mancini’s mind is the idea of playing both Tevez and Dzeko up-front. I am sure he thinks Dzeko could cause us some problems. If he does that, he might also use use Dzeko to distract and try to unsettle Vidic (or, more likely, whoever’s next to Vidic), and create space for Tevez to run into.

I also think they’ll try to wind up Rafael, possibly using Tevez for that. And it doesn’t take much, does it?

  46. FletchTHEMAN says:

    CedarsRed SpotON…. HOOOO Haahhhhh!

  47. FletchTHEMAN says:

Stateside. Right then mate, the game plan
Send some fit birds over to Rafaels place to chill the lad down. Rio won’t be on the pitch so we can send him over as well to work on talking the lad through it all.

    Come on you Reds.

  48. willierednut says:

This derby will be about the tactics, that’s Makinis way. I think he’ll try entice United out and then hit us on the counter attack. Be funny as fuck, if we hit them on a counter attack lol.

  49. FletchTHEMAN says:

Tactics and keeping heads. Scholes, Carrick and Fletcher in the midfield to put in some crunching, yet legal, challenges!

  50. willierednut says:

To the victor, belongs the spoils. Redemption!

  51. CedarsDevil says:

  77. willierednut says:

    Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

  78. King Eric says:

I agree in the main with willies midfield. Park has GOT to play and will. Then its nani on the other side. With scholes or ando along with fletch who although hasn’t been in top form but will be up for this BIG game and carrick. I just think he will go with scholes for his experience in derbys and he always says that’s important. But then like costas said we could go four four two with park doubling up as the third midfielder. In a four four two my prefereed two have been ando and carrick. A headache for fergie. But a good headache to have. One thing for certain berbatov must start. I have more confidence in him as the lone striker. Look how good he was at goodison. But then again rooney could come good at just the right time. As I say tough but good problems to have. Cannot fucking wait for saturday. Got to go for the jugular straight from the off like in recent home games and they won’t know what’s hom them. Get a couple of first half goals. Feeling confident about sat. Our home form is outstanding and we play some fucking good football.

  79. King Eric says:

    *hit them*

  80. wayne says:

daily express reporting the deal to sell utd is pretty well done to qatar holdings for 1.6bill,that goes along with earlier reports that the glaziers had refused 1,5 bill and that 1.6 bill would be the figure.this thing looks like its going to happen

  81. King Eric says:

Wayne. Well it does make you wonder mate how those two hundred and fifty million pik loans were suddenly paid off. Hope it will be a good thing for united if it happens. Do not wanna become like city or the rentboys.

  82. wayne says:

@King Eric hi mate this rumor has been around since last year and its gained momentum since xmas so i think its genuine, the article said that the glaziers wanted 2bill but the arabs wouldn’t pay that much but are going to increase the bid by 100mil to 1,6bill that the glaziers will accept.it was the same numbers and same story a few weeks ago.
thats my biggest worry aswell hopefully they’ll leave sir alex alone and they’ll have respect for what utd stand for.

  83. wayne says:

the article even says the derby could be the last under the glazier ownership, utd could be owned by arabs next week.utd will become the new real madrid every fucking rentboy on the planet will all of a sudden dreamed of playing for utd

  84. Costas says:

So out of curiosity, if Qatar holdings buy the club for 1.6bil, will part of that money go to paying off the debts, meaning that United will be debt free? Or will it go to the Glazers and the debt will still stand?

  85. wayne says:

@ costas no idea mate didn’t say. that would be a sweet deal for the glaziers 1.6bill and 550 mill still owed, i’d assume the glaziers would be responsible to pays off the debts

  86. Costas says:

    @wayne

I kind of get the same feeling. The Glazers took out the loans to buy the club and as long as they are connected to the club, so is the debt. If someone else buys the club, maybe the Glazers will be the ones responsible for the debts again. Maybe someone here will know more how it works. Don’t know what to make of the whole deal yet. At least there’s some movement going around which in my opinion is not that bad. If a deal is arranged that could lift the burden off the club’s shoulders that would be nice. But then again, who knows what will follow after that…

  87. wayne says:

@costas that my friend is the million dollar question
