City fans only use this argument because it is the only thing they can physically prove. You wouldn’t expect them to claim that they are a better club than United because they have been more successful over the years. They would end up in a looney bin in a blink.

The way I look at it is, no matter what country or what city I’m in, I’m sure to find a few United fans lerking around. Thats a wonderful feeling to have.

I don’t think so King.The game yesterday illustrated that he is not up to 2 games in 4 days.We could have done with Anderson around this time.He would have played against Blackburn keeping Scholesy fresh for the San Siro.And you are not wrong about the 3 mifielders.That’s how SAF played against Roma both times in the Quarters of last season.At the moment the defense has a big hole.We have 11 straight wins in all competitions and we have gone 19 games unbeaten in the Ch.League(one more and we could have the record).Both records will be veeeery hard to preserve.

Agree with your midfield but definately got to be Rooney 2 goals in first two games back, gave his all again yesterday. I personally would always start Wayne.No question.

I do like O’Shea but the thought of him in central defence for this tie does not fill me with confidence. Whatever happens I am sure we will cope, get an away goal and do them back at Old Trafford with hopefully a full strength team.

Oh,and O’Shea didn’t play against Barca.Wes did and it suited him just fine since they didn’t have any aerial threat.O’Shea did brilliantly against Roma away but when he came up against Alfonso Alves 4 days later he had problems.

I hope so King.It’s not the first time that he has hidden injuries though.I don’t know what to think about this defensive crisis before the European games anymore.Let’s just hope that O’Shea makes it and that Rio will help him through.O’Shea did ok at Roma last year but they didn’t have two tall strikers like Inter have.If he does make it,i think Ronaldo,Carrick,Fletcher,Park and Berbatov are certain starters.The only other loose end is Rooney or Tevez.

Oh, and i think O’Shea is an excellent centre back, and hopefully he’ll be fit enough to show it on tuesday. Didnt he end up having to play there in one of the Barca games last year? I may be wrong, i just seem to think it.

I’m originally from Wythenshawe, though we moved to Yorkshire when i was still a kid. My older brother was a United fan, so I followed him and became one too. It pisses me off good and proper that idiots / city fans say i’m some sort of glory fan. I support the team that was bred into me from being young for christ sake!!! Gotta say though, i do love shutting the cunts up when i get the “i bet your not even from manchester” shit thrown at me. I was working with some city knob on thursday who, even after he had heard that i was at the Fulham game the previous evening, still insisted i wasnt a “real” fan. Fuck him, and fuck all these cunts who are so blinded by jealousy they dont even realise what a pathetic argument they have. We cant help having fans spread all over the world. Maybe if city weren’t so wank they might have a few fans worldwide too.
