Tevez’s problem is that each time he is prompted, by an admittedly deviant press pack, he utters contradictions to previous statements. In fact, they constitute the fabric of everything he’s said throughout 2009.
Is he confused? Has he been badly advised? To a degree the answer to both those questions is yes. On the former he couldn’t grasp the sense of betrayal in going to City. On the latter, Koorabchian is a shark with a manipulator’s brain. In my view he was well aware of the animosity inherent to a move across Manchester – but he’d never be in the firing line would he?
I’ve no time for those who say “well, of course he’d take the greater money offer, anyone would”. And if Tevez has ever said he did move for the money then I’ve never heard it – he’s always denied it as a prime motivation.
The truth is that, a lack of self-awareness and bad advice or not, he moved for the money. And everything else he’s tossed into the ring as a reason why is bullshit. Which is why, despite there being a certain kind of logic to how some defend him on here, he’ll get no sympathy from me.
Carlos Tevez has said a lot of detrimental things about this club and its manager. Any smidgins of truth to them are irrelevant to the other and most important truth that he said them in an attempt to mask the fact he left United for the money; end of.

Sounds like he’s doing some back-peddling after the reception he got back in September. He probably regrets his decision to be a twat about the whole transfer and realises there’s an honorable way to go about these things.

City’s willingness to throw money at him and initially treat him like a marquee signing made him all big-headed.. That he’s getting the same (or even less) amount of football at a less successful club that has no heart or soul has dawned on him. Shitty career move. Next!

To be honest the funniest thing of all for me is that tevez’s main reason for leaving was to get more games!!

He was dissapointed at Berbatovs signing and that he deserved more games.. No offence but Tevez goal ratio is not great! Thats beside the point.
