Craig Bellamy has revealed his liking for Wayne Rooney.
“I like Rooney a lot,” said Bellamy. “Even when the team isn’t playing well and he isn’t playing well, he is still involved. Listen, if you were in a war, you would want to go to war with Rooney. No doubt about that.”

Man Utd News 24/7

FInally something on which we will agree with Bellamy. Credit to him though. Along with Fletcher Bellamy is one of the most improved players in the league. has been brilliant for city this season.
respect to bellamy…. i hope he leaves city though
good stuff bellamy. off topic, but what’s this i am reading? apparently madrid are after our vidic!, i hate this club wit passion, they just keep stepping on our tails.
Couldn’t give a shit what he says, he’s a bitter city prick.
Thankfully Wayne doesnt like you, Craig.
thanks for é compliment. but dont think wayne will be proud going to war with u though. u fucking slap a defenceless chap. shameless chicken.
Great observation Craig, you and Wayne have similar passion for the game, you always work your socks off whenever you’re on the pitch. I would definitely pick Rooney instead of Berba as a “war partner”
@ Firas, respect? I would never give respect to this classless cunt. A player who slaps a restrained Utd fan for no reason and gets no punishment. Hate him and all the other twats at shitty. That prick Mancini recently said they can win the premier league. I don’t know whether to laugh or pity the bitters. Keep dreaming.
“like to go to war with Rooney” as opposed to with John Terry.
Shame Bellamy is such a cunt as at times this season he has been excellent. Could do worse on our left side at the minute.
Only messing.
I still hate the twat
@King Eric:
I was just thinking about that! Why didn’t he say that he would go to war with “Mr Chelsea”? I thought he was the British version of Rambo. The gallant warrior who if he decided to do so, would take down the Al Caida by himself!
At least he beat Riise with a Golf Club. I HAAAAATE Riise
At least bellamy has start realising the truth.the masters are masters.UNITED TILL I DIE.
He’s a cock but has been one of the players of the season.
craig bellamy could walk into an empty room and still start a fight. does anybody get along with that bastard?
as for his compliment of rooney, way to point out the obvious craig! what’s next, is he going to say that rooney is england’s best player? why is this even a story?
am i glad that its shitty with the billions in the bank, coz only shitty can mess this up hey…@VEY i think vidic is gone in the summer dont think u guys in the uk understand the powerr and the pull of a club like madrid?the best play for that club at sumpoint in the careers tbh…u look ak the people whom played there, figo ,zidane, raul, ronaldo, hierro, carlos, becks there is just sum bout madrid,…me thinks is the 9 european cups, just hope we get 30m plus…
What a stupid comment.
Especially after Terry made a complete fool of himself recently.
Bellamy prefers to try and look big when someone is restrained by 2 people and thinks attacking teammates with a golf club is a good idea.
if you read the rest of that article he then goes on to talk about arshavin and how he is the best winger out there. how we looks at arshavin’s plays to become a better winger himself…..bellamy is a complete idiot.
phaka sa red – If not for Franco’s regime and the power the Fascists hold they would NOT have nine European cups.
lol he is better than anything you have…you fucking red pieces of shit
Lambo – Fuck off you bitter cunt. 4-3 mate!
As for Mourinho. Get fucked you smug cunt. Reckons the rentboys are the only team that will win the league. “Aside from Anelka and Ivanovic it is my same team “. How much does this man love himself? He could not handle the pressure once United had gone through transition. Couldn’t live with Fergie or United. He got what he wanted yesterday anyway . All the papers are full of his boat race this morning. Don’t want him anywhere near United.
http://goal.com/en/news/9/england/2009/12/29/1715379/chelsea-to-win-premier-league-due-to-manchester-uniteds
Lambo go back to your own jealous man shitty site. we don’t want you, United forever
I know Nani and Macheda are supposedly injured. I just don’t buy that. Reckon Nani will be gone and Macheda sent on loan. They have just been wrapped in cotton wool ready for January. Very little mention of their injuries. Fergie just seems to skirt over the issue.
why would fergie loan federico out?
Macheda is God – Just some rumours that were going round a week or so ago. Wouldn’t really be beneficial though as it would mean we are a striker light. However we now have Diouf in the frame. I may well be wrong but it just seems odd that they have both gone off the radar.
King Eric
Don’t think you’re wrong at all mate, it’s not coincidence they are off radar!
Give that kid Diouf a go, got a really good gut feeling that he’s going to be just what is required.
It’ll be interesting seeing the team selection against the scum, considering the lemon eaters get an extra days rest before we play. Could we see Diouf around then?
The problem with Bellendamy wanting Rooney by his side in a war is that it would probably be a war started by him, perhaps by running up to some defenceless person and hitting them. It’s true he’s been playing well this season, and he might well help citeh beat United in the Lge Cup semi, but I’ve never liked him and wouldn’t want him at United.
Nani & Tosic to be sold off, Macheda loaned out, suddenly our attacking capacity could look a bit thin, if all these rumours are true. I liked the look of Joshua King, another one out of the picture. Cleverley got another goal for Watford yesterday, his 8th, a terrific return for a midfielder.I’d like to see them get chances at United , so maybe this clear-out, if it happens is to give these and the other promising youngsters a chance. Hope so.
Are rumours true Corry Evans and Josh King will be loaned to Rangers?and the DiMaria thing is picking up.
enzo
that would be two great additions to rangers, as for DiMaria it was reported in the sunday papers, looks a decent player but do we want another argie??
its in my blood – Alright mate. Yeah we could well see Diouf by then. I know he is young and new to United but Fergie could well go with him against the “lemon eaters” as you put it. Nice one. It isn’t as if he is only 17 and a skinny player. Looks a big lad. Cannot wait to see him actually.
Giles – Hello. Hope you are feeling well my friend. Yeah Josh King certainly looks promising but he hasn’t played much this last month or so due to an injury. Cleverley is a cracking little player and cannot wait to see him back at United. Don’t think it will be till the summer though as he has just had his loan period extended.
If he just cuts off diving…
Corea – Who?
King Eric – i don’t care what city star does.
cmon!!!
Oh right, sorry mate I am with you now. I had forgotten what the topic was even about! Been typing about Cleverley, Josh King, Diouf etc. I know what you mean and yes he should. Not one of the worst culprits but does do it never the less.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zm5-zLu8S9U
holy shit! what can we say about this.. this doesn’t make him a worse player but i am really ashamed of it. after what i saw in the Villareal game i didn’t want to follow the game after the accident. i was sitting in the sportbar thinking how i would justify all this stuff the next day.
ANYONE CARE TO GUESS
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TfUi3LrRac
Dont like the cunt but he has been in great form this season. I wud like saf to dip in to the market in january but only if the price suits us.
Gotta hate – No idea mate ?
Difficult to bear this.liverpool beat villa.and we have lost to both these rubbish sides.fuckin villa.cant even create a few chances at home.how the fuck did they beat us? Even the gooners kicked their backsides.looks like the top 4 will remain the same.
aig – Hi mate. Was thinking exactly the same. Villa are a very average team. How the fuck did they and the dippers beat us? Fergie has said he reckons United will go on a decent run. One thing is these two defeats will have knocked the stuffing out of Villa so expect a similar drop in form and results like last season. Have said to people for a bit now I still think the dippers will finish in the top 4 and it will be the same four as usual. Although Spurs and City have better squads than the dippers the scousers are capable of putting a decent run together dependent on keeping a certain 2 players fit.
Anyway I reckon Vidic will be off in the summer. These rumours just aren’t going away. Very much how all the Ronaldo circus started. Scum bastards. Can’t they discover players of their own? I know Vidic isn’t one of ours but give it a year or two and the Evans rumours will probably surface.
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/football/premier_league/manchester_united/article6970903.ece
King eric. hi. Agree completely.villa really look average.cant believe i tipped them to be in the title race come feb or march.seems the dippers have had the worst of their injury crisis. I think shitty and dippers will go on a winning run now and if us and chelsea continue to be inconsistent may even get a way back in the title race.
As for vida, he himself hasnt said that he wants to leave so i dont believe these rumours.must be tired of having to clarify things every time.the fact that they linked rooney a 85 million move to barca and now a move to madrid shows the trash stories they make up.
Who doesn’t?!
It’s not hindsight, but as the game wore on, I knew that Liverpool would win. I said it on Saturday. The day Villa won at Old Trafford, their season ended. Bottlers.
king eric
its very easy when you think about it on a boat with a man united jersey on
Scousers must be the luckiest team in England, especially when they have their own bastards play for the opposing team, or was this just a coincidence?
@Xyth:
Would that be Warnock you are talking about? Don’t get me started!
As far as Friedel goes, I don’t think he is bad when he plays against Liverpool. He is just super whenever he plays against us!
Bizarre from you Costas.. how is it that their season is over? They could very easily have beaten the scum, but they didn’t have luck on their side – it was one minute away from a draw which is fair play considering they both beat us. Villa played extremely well and haven’t had such a bad December, could have been better but sadly it wasn’t.
@Always Be Closing:
Yeah, sorry if it didn’t come out right. I don’t believe that Aston Villa are putting a win at OT higher than finishing in the top 4. However, the win agains us was a major high for them and I think that sometimes it’s hard to refocus after that. The loss at the Emirates wasn’t a big deal. They won’t win over there every season. But tonight’s loss could be very costly for them. I realize that they had a go and it didn’t happen for them.
My frustration is about teams and players in general elevating their game only when they play against us.
It is because United is such a great team, and any team that
Plays against us for them it’s their cup final.
As for Vidic he probably will leave us for £30+ million. I just think
His head has been turned and with the world cup coming up and his Mrs going on about not being happy about living in England. And you know how some women can moan and complain about anything.
At least we have Evans and Cathcart coming through.
I’ve really been impressed by Tom Cleverley’s performances and attitude at Watford. He is showing that special quality to become a United first team regular – self belief and expression on the pitch. He has talent, but what makes the likes of Tom, CR7 and Rooney different from the likes of Nani, Foster and others is that they do the talking on the pitch. They consistently show they can handle the pressure, expectation and the demands of performing at a high level for United. Tom Cleverley is showing it in abundance and when he gets back to us he will make it look like he’s played for the first team for ages.
Some interesting points KVN. I have been intrigued by Cleverley this season and I can’t wait to see him coming back at United. As far as Vidic goes, I would prefer it if we didn’t lose him for another 2-3 years. I don’t regard the excuse about his wife as a serious one. I respect his marriage, but we have had so many foreign players at United and we have never had this issue. I find it hard to believe that Nemanja is the first United foreigner whose wife can’t adjust to the Manchester weather.
It seems like the waiter finished 2009 in the same fashion he started it. With a rant. Now he was displeased with the journalists’ reactions when he guearanteed that Liverpool would finish in the top 4. It’s easy to open your pie hole after a win hey?
KVN said – Agree with you. Vidic will be a real madrid player after the world cup. This story started 2 years ago and Vidic mentioned then, he would like to go at some point. Then this summer, he knew Fergie wouldn’t sell him AND Ronaldo together. This is his final season, I think Gary Cahill from Bolton will be his replacement.
Gotta hate – Is it the longitude and latitude of Old Trafford?
aig – Yeah but as quick as those Rooney rumours surfaced they disappeared. The Vidic ones will not go away, pretty much like the Ronaldo ones. I honestly do think he will go this summer mate.
kvn – It is exactly that. Every team plays United like their lives depend on it. The fact we win the league year after year speaks volumes because we have that unfair advantage that every team wants to beat United. Villa bent over for the scousers tonight. They were awful. They all looked fucked. Just like the rentboys they are playing far too often. Rotation usually works out best in the long run. Look at United.
Xyth – Thought exactly the same about Warnock. Just like Murphy against the Chav’s. Could not get a free kick or corner right.
I’v really expected villa to lose against the scousers. it’s not easy for such an inexperienced team to come back strongly after sufferin from a disappointin defeat only2 days ago. I think spurs are the favourite for gettin in the top four this season , they’r doin well so far really. They look much more experienced , know how to win games at home and get a good result out of aways , and also score without a sympathy. I’m really admired of how Redknap manages it.
Scott you going to create a blog on the last decade or the next decade and where United will be?
I think SAFs vision is immense and genius at that. He’s creating another dynasty a new generation of players and soon to be ex players who will carry the United philosophy and mentality long after he retires, whilst ensuring United compete and win EPLs, ECLs etc in the hear and now.
We’ve got Ole Gunnar Solskjær as reserve team manager who’s doing a fantastic job there and it really wouldn’t surprise me if he became United manager at some stage. Neville and Giggs will be on the coaching staff at some point and they will be guiding and directing the young players on the United way and mentality of handling all the pressure and expectations of fans, media and manager and playing in an attacking, free flowing and entertaining, intelligent WINNING football.
SAF is creating a culture where the attitude each season is to get into finals and win trophies. Getting to a final is the minimum requirement, and pacing yourself in the league so that in the second half you’re in a position to pull away from your rivals and win the title is being engrained into the likes of Gibsons, Cleverley’s, Kiko, RAFs&FABs, Josh Kings, and Evans etc. You can talk about wining cups, but do you not think those players who won the Carling Cup at Wembley this year in February got more from it than those Arsene Wenger “kids” who play in the early rounds but then don’t win it? You can’t buy or teach that kind of experience, and those United young players who won the cup and played each round learnt more than Wenger’s “kids”.
Where are rivals fall down, is that you have one side Arsenal with his “kids” who is cultivating a young team for the future and on the other side Citeh and Chelski who are trying to keep pace and so buy established players for the hear and now or just in Chelski case just solicit the kids parents.
SAF has been doing BOTH whilst winning titles and trophies in abundance. Buying established players with experience like Berbatov, Owen (yeah i know he never bought him!) whilst developing and exposing the young players in the academy to the level they need to be at if they want to be a United player.
So when he played the likes of Kiko, RAFs&FABs, Josh Kings, Gibson DeLaet
In the Champions league game against the Turkish side Besiktas he knew they need that exposure and understanding of what a European game is like.
Each player develops and learns at different rates, as humans we all learn things at different speeds. We all went to school, and some of you took ages to learn how to read/write or learn maths, whereas others in the class grasped it straight away and excelled.
So it’s the same with the young players. Not every player is going to be like Giggs or Rooney or Scholes or even CR7. But some will be more like Fletcher, Beckham or Neville. hard workers with limited ability but a desire drive and hunger to keep working on their game day in and out until they reach a level where people and players recognise their contribution and value to the team.
If it were just about talent alone then Nani, Berbatov and Foster even Carrick would be setting the football world alight. The bottom line is that each player has to work hard and prove themselves every day. Just look at Giggs.
For those players who do make it, is equivalent to a solider who get’s selected and then passes the test to become a SAS (Special Air Service) or SBS (Special Boat Service) elite solider. Not everyone who is selected will pass the test, so with the likes of Nani, Foster etc they simply won’t make the grade.
So sometimes as fans we have to be patient and understand that SAF is building a dynasty that can win many ECL trophies rather than as in the past “hope” to get to the semis. Not any more, the cultural mentality has changed and it’s about going to the likes of Barcelona, RM, AC Milan etc and
winning on their patch and reaching finals and players and the team expressing their tactical knowledge, intelligence and abilities on the pitch to win the game.
Great KVN. As for vidic, if it’s true, he can go today for all i care. UNITED we stand. It wouldn’t be long till we get a far better replacement. Tired of all that nonsense.
