i’m a chelsea fan, proud to be wearing blue.

but those SKYblue’s, after the takeover, seem to me that they are in denial and some…hallucination state, where they thought that overnight, they can be the best club in the world. oh..if that makes them happy, may they dream on forever.

i’m wearing blue, but i’m utterly disturbed that city fan are blue too.

its all right to be supporting a different club, but dear city fans, we’re all human beings. please be rational and practical. money does make the world go round, but money aint the only thing that makes a player come to a club.

i’d say, city…is pretty much, lightyears away from reaching the top of the league. please, talk about challenging for top spot only if mancity beats aston villa and tottenham first. get pass arsenal and liverpool before even thinking about wrestling top spots from chelsea and manutd.

at the rate city is going, its gonna be at least 5 years before city even reach top 7 spot.

i’m 18 this year, and when city reach the top of the premierleague…
i dont even think i’ll witness that in my lifetime.

sorry to disappoint all city fans, but top players go to manutd, chelsea, liverpool, barca, real, inter, AC..
top players want to play for a glorious club with good history and record.

without top players, its a hard way up.

simply because, robinho an exception because he is not wanted by many, many great players will not want to join city. this is further bolstered by the fact that brazillian great Pele, and Brazillian soccer authorities, have SLAMMED robinho’s acts, criticizing him, indicating that he is a disgrace to world football, and in particular, brazillian football. it is degratory to the brazillian kid.
now, many players will share the same view, and few, will be wanting to play alongside a “brazillian disgrace”.

so mr bluesky, the fact that many players will not want to join city, will definitely show that financial powers is not enough to win the title, trophy, or even to become contenders for glory. robinho is not enough. i dont see how a meer individual can bring the team to the number 1 spot. football, or soccer, is a team game.

city will just be another team in mid table, until they improve their record, attracting great players to join them. great signings will only come, if the record attract them. money is not everything, mr bluesky. money can only work in tandem, with good results.
