The FA have reprimanded City over the behaviour of one of their ball boys during United’s 1-0 win on derby day.
As Cristiano Ronaldo went to take a corner, the ball boy lobbed the ball with some force at the player’s face. After initially looking startled, a smile crept across Ronaldo’s face, not reacting angrily like some might.
Fourth official Lee Mason spoke to City officials at the time to inform them that this conduct was unacceptable and this has been passed on to the FA.
Unsurprisingly, Manchester “massive” City fans were very excited by the whole affair.

Man Utd News 24/7

ha the bitter bastards. That’ll be highlight of their season as they say goodbye to robinho and co in the summer as they look to find non-championship football. Don’t worry though bluenoses richard ‘i’ll turn up for 2 games a season’ dunne will stay
I didn’t see the ball thrown at him, have you any links?
Thanks
I was very happy with the way Ronny dealt with the whole situation, as well as the way Rooney celebrated in front of the scum who were churning out the ‘you fat…’ chant yet again, god how dull!
yep – this really was the highlight for them. a fat bitter in my pub had this to chant when ronnie got sent off:
“that’s better than 1- nillll.. that’s better than 1-nilll” – yep. pretty much sums it up. dream big, guys.
That shows real big club mentality as their star player mentioned.
Bloody could catch he should have a word with VDS!!
haha pathetic how much that has entertained MASSIVE ciddy fans, the ball didnt actually hit him he caught it, Ronaldo laughed it off anyway.
Ohhhh this is how it feels to be cityyy this is how it feels to be small…..
It was in the first half, Ronaldo didn’t like it, but he smiled and walked off.
And then from that corner, he almost planted his header…it went just over
Yeah i saw that incident on Sunday and wondered if anything would be done. Glad it is
I saw that. It did make me laugh. The way Ronnies face just looked so suprised haha. Glad they’re going to do something about it though, just to add to the pain of the defeat
.
Can anyone remember the Spurs ball boy in a UEFA cup match ages ago at White heart lane? He threw the ball so hard at the other teams player he buckled over! haha
