Cleverley: We Want To Turn England Potential In To Trophies

Following more disappointment for England at Euro 2012, Tom Cleverley is eager for his generation to fulfil their potential and win something.

“We have always had potentially good players when they are growing up,” said Cleverley. “Then, we seem to get knocked out at the quarter-final stage of competitions. But I am sure I am not alone, with the likes of Phil Jones, Danny Welbeck and Jack Wilshere. There are about 20 players you could name. We want to turn potential into finals and trophies. That is our job and that is what we have got to live up to.”

Cleverley struggled with injuries last season after a great start in August, but now he is feeling fit and ready to go.

“I am feeling fit. I have been doing a bit of training in the off-season and I am 100 per cent working harder.”

I was on the River off and on as of late, I love bikinis. Painted women with loose morals. Painted priced and clean shaven. Cleavage, Boob, but I like them both. I saw a volleyball game turn topless and then it was a naked game……. 18 to 24 years old gravity defying bodies………

I’ve moved home. United Road was my true love at Old Trafford with a trip to K stand when I had more spends!! Stretty was somewhere I flirted with for a while and North Stand was a one night stand! Take me home….United Road….. to the place…. where I belong….. To Old Trafford…. To see United…… Take me home…. United Road!!!

  7. Daniel says:

This John Terry court case is ridiculous. They should tell Anton Ferdinand to stop crying and call him names back. The same to be said to Patrice Evra over the Luiz Suarez incident. The police getting involved over this shit is laughable. The “Tram Experience” set a horrible president. It seems its free speech unless somebody gets offended. Pathetic.

  8. wayne says:

Zibbie hi mate always think there’s more credibility to rumors when it’s out of the realm of ‘big stars’ and as far as i know Sunday Times isn’t a rag like the Daily Mail, seems like the Everton fans figure it’s just sorting out the final transfer fee.The question posed was Baines for 15mill plus Evra can’t see that happening though

  9. CedarsDevil says:

    I forgive you!

One minute, Chelsea have a £32m bid rejected…next day he’s going to United on a cut price deal …….and now Inter have made contact.

Who is this nobody from the pee-wee leagues? Ash(?) rates him….me on the other hand think he’s another name from Brazil that gets thrown about like Neymar and Ganso who have never impressed to the extent Messi,Rooney,Ronaldo,Robben,Torres,Fabregas did at that aga.

Fuck these guys….gimme Frimpong anyday !

  16. wayne says:

Daniel what i can gather Anton didn’t start crying this case progressed because it was reported to the police by someone other than Anton,so you’re just making yourself look fucking stupid for not even having the facts right, fucking moron

  27. samuel - united WE stand says:

Daniel didn’t put much sensible thought into his post just like most pool fan. Their main aspirations is to wind united fans up. “Abusing someone due to colour is no biggy, it should be solved by calling each other names back” – need i say more.

  28. Zibbie says:

3-Lung Park, thanks and best wishes.

  29. lebomanc says:

    Cedars @ 14:01
Sorry for the late reply just saw it… actually I wish! Long story but bottom line, I won’t be going

  30. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Ash, Yup, was about to post the same.

What we’ve seen over the past couple of summers is a major overhaul. Almost everybody who were on the wrong side of 30 have been moved on. The only exceptions are Paul Scholes and Ryan Giggs, both of whom have proven consistently that they can contribute if used correctly.

I will miss Park very much. Arguably one of the most intelligent players we’ve had in our club. You ask him to do a job, you can forget about it, he’ll get it done. No matter how much times I say this, I will never get tired. That job he did on Pirlo when we played Milan was the stuff of legend. To deny someone like Pirlo space and time on the ball when he is the master at finding both was outstanding. People have grossly underestimated him time and again. He was always there when it mattered most and has scored a host of important goals for us in the big games. You can’t do that with mere work-rate or running around. How many important goals has Parker scored again?

We may not necessarily miss Park, the player, since we’re well covered. However, we’ll miss Park, the person. We’ll miss the ultimate team player and most of all, I think we’ll miss his humility and attitude. Thank you for everything, Park!

  31. samuel - united WE stand says:

The manchester derby was the last straw for park, his dropped level were evident. His energy has dropped and he isn’t really technically gifted to make up for it. He’s been a great efficient running machine for united, scored crucial goals and tormented arsenal several times.

Good fortune for the rest of your career ji.

Surely FERGIE is clearing space for new midfielders, surely?.

  32. Ash says:

As much as I love park I think it is a good step taken by our club. Its no point keeping a player who sir alex will not play. Why not give that 20-30 minutes to a young player. I can see powell featuring in many games. He could really be the star of this season.

But anyways PARK WILL always be in my heart. Never said anything bad and was never involved in any controversy.

  33. Zibbie says:

I get so excited, and my mind fly’s this time of year.

    3 years down the rd…..

  34. CedarsDevil says:

No issues, pass by for a glass of Arak if you want, I am in Sarba………..Or pepsi of course if you do not drink!

  35. Ash says:

Yeah I think we will always agree to disagree in Lucas case :) . I am not saying he will be like messi or ronaldo but he has talent and skill. But I don’t want to spend 30 odd million on him, He is still highly unproven. No way Sir alex will spend that amount of money on a unproven talent.

  36. Zibbie says:

We love these guys, who give blood for the club. Park a good to great pro.
SAF of all his great attributes, he knows when to pull the trigger. Park lost half a step he could not afford to loose at a club like MUFC.

Balaji, yes a major overhaul is right!!! Some 15 gone in the last year and more to come.
SAF retooling for his LAST GREAT TEAM!!! Making it as fuckup proof as possible for the next guy!!!
    He has overloaded the lads.

3 guys in so far, 2 guys one lad.

    Poweel, Kagawa and Goss

  37. parryheid says:

Time’s ticking on and we have signed One first team player only this nowhere good enough.

  38. King Eric says:

parry – Plenty of time. No other club has done much business yet have they. Did you hear Fergie? He said some deals take time. Patience man!

  39. parryheid says:

    King Eric.
Hmm,seem’s an old story not overly optimistic.

  40. lebomanc says:

LOL not sure if I come across as an older person I’m only 15! Still want to meet for pepsi? ;P

  41. Daniel says:

Yeah because somebody who disagrees with you must be a wum or trolling or whatever you pathetic idiots. Oh your comments offended me, I am going to phone the police !!!. A good argument stands on its merits.

I know that was the situation. I was speaking more general and trying to keep it as short as possible. If I were Anton I would be embarrassed this went to court.

    Club : Manchester United
    Location : Manchester

  42. CedarsDevil says:

15? Ha ha ha, you could easily be my daughter! Scrap the pepsi, its orange juice for you young lady!

  43. Lebomanc says:

Balki ana badde Pepsi tayyeb? hahaha just kidding. For a 15 year old you have to admit I am quite informed about united though :)

  44. CedarsDevil says:

Hayati, whatever you want……..To2obreeni!! Yes you are very impressive with your knowledge of United….Well done to you young lady

    @mikekelly12 July 9, 2012 at 14:17
Hello Mate, my comments weren’t personally aimed at anybody in particular.
I am sure there are United fans who go to matchdays and sing their hearts out every game but they are in the minority. I gave up my season ticket a few years ago because of The Glazers. I wasn’t happy with the amount of debt they had secured against the football club and as I have mentioned before even the best experts can get it wrong. If it does all go wrong United will be stripped of assets from top to bottom.
    Anyhow that’s a different subject.
I found the general atmosphere was quiet at Old Trafford unless we were playing one of our Premiership rivals, regional rivals, or in the latter stages of the Champions League.
I thought that if the Old Trafford faithful can pick it up against these teams why can we not do it all the time?
On another note can you imagine the grief we would give Liverpool, or City for having a singing section?

  46. Devil310 says:

Thanks to all my beloved reds for the birthday wishes. Just spent it swimming with Sharks. Fucking amazing experience, if you’re into that sort of stuff.

  47. buttass says:

    kevin davies is a prick.
worst tackler in the history of the PL. miles worse than our ginga ninja and even worse than that monst pepe i mean PEEP.

would have shone this season if it weren’t of k davies
