Olley claims that if Evra cannot prove that he was racially abused then he should have the book thrown at him. Is that how justice works? Only accuse someone of a crime if you can prove they did it. If you don’t have concrete evidence, shut the fuck up otherwise you run the risk of facing punishment yourself. What an utterly idiotic suggestion.
How much would this policy undermine the Kick It Out campaign, with players who have been racially abused refusing to report any incidents in case a TV camera didn’t pick it up? Can anyone seriously argue that players must be able to prove their claims or run the risk of being banned themselves? To band about phrases like ‘playing the race card’ is cringeworthy and insulting.
No doubt Olley sits chanting “Evra you’re a cant” whenever Arsenal come to Old Trafford to be beaten by United, but it’s a disgrace that in this day and age journalists can get away with having such ignorant nonsense published. Furthermore, although albeit away from racism issues, he was one of – if not the most – outspoken leaders of the french mutiny at the world cup.
Patrice has always impressed me with his outspoken and honest views regarding United in the media. For a foreigner, he appears to have a thorough grasp of what it means to be United player and captain.
My point is, therefore, that Patrice has a history of making outspoken claims, whether they involve alleged racism or merely inter-rivalry jibes. As much as I have little confidence in Suarez’s moral stance, i do feel Patrice should shut the fuck up every now and then.

If footage existed of Suarez mouthing words that could even be interpreted as corroborating Evra’s allegations, Sky Sports would have spoon-fed it to us on the hour, every hour, all week long.
The problem Evra has is that he assured Canal+ it did exist immediately after the match. He also told Canal+ that Marriner was aware of the situation yet according to Marriner’s match report, he wasn’t made aware of it until later.
The other problem Evra has is his connection to previous unreliable, unproven racial abuse claims. Because this just looks like another one to add to the collection, doesn’t it?
If Evra’s allegations are true and he’s denied justice, then as a human being, I sympathise with him.
But given the way he’s handled the situation, it’s hardly surprising that the press and the public are unconvinced or that Liverpool might request their own investigation against him.

From this we can deduce one of three things:
One, you was very sleepy when you wrote this. Two, you’re a WUM (albeit not a very good one), or Three, you’re simply an odd individual, because you’ve already admitted on RoM that Evra didn’t play the race card regarding CFC and Finnan. Now you’ve regressed back to the primitive state you was in when you first came here.
The thing is, haven’t you heard of six degrees of separation? Take me for example, I’ve probably got a “connection” with the Royal family of England, but it doesn’t mean im fucking Kate Middleton does it?

@ Paul Parker – You can deduce whatever you like and make this as personal as you like mate. I’m not interested in any of that.
I realise that the subtleties of the debate are lost on your parochial mind so I’ll put it in simple terms. It doesn’t matter whether or not Evra has played the ‘race card’ himself. Simply being the subject of previous cases is enough in the eyes of the public. Rightly or wrongly, they will join those dots and make their own lazy deductions.
Now you can call them thick if you want but bear in mind that you’ve made a lazy deduction of your own this morning.

I’ve said more than once its nothing personal, which should go without saying as I don’t know you from Creation.
But I will say I had to look up the word Parochial. I’d wrongly assumed it was derived from Pater, so that got me thinking – I haven’t wrongly assumed Joe is short for Josephine by any chance? If so excuse my chauvinism!, as I do kno birds also called Joe come to think of it. But if not, don’t have a heart attack on my account fella. no offence intended nor taken.
