COMPETITION: Andy Cole Signed Book For Christmas

The phone rang. It was Stretford (Cole’s agent).
“Andrew, you know you said you’d leave Newcastle to go to one other club?”
“Yes.”
“The deal’s on. Man United. I’m not messing about. Get yourself and your essentials together and I’ll be up in three or four hours.”

Glory Glory! is Andy Mitten’s latest book which gives a brilliant insight to the club during the 1990′s. Andy Cole, Eric Cantona and Lee Sharpe are amongst the former players interviewed.

We have a copy signed by Andy Mitten and Andy Cole up for grabs, which would make a nice gift for Christmas for any reds you know (or a present to yourself!)

Describe in no more than 100 words your favourite Andy Cole moment. Simple.

This is a bullshit contest. :)

I’ve not been supporting the club long enough to see Andy Cole, so I don’t have a favourite Andy Cole moment. :(

Any other ways of entering, Scott?

  3. Gotta hate tiny tears says:

    That goal against west ham

  4. mufcdc says:

For me, Andy Cole wasn’t a player, he was half of the best strike partnership United have had since I was old enough to support them (’92). RvN and even Ronaldo may have been greater goal threats, but we do miss having two players who can work together to tear defenders apart.

    So, Barcelona.

  5. Scott the Red says:

No good leaving the comments in here lads, e-mail them in. You’ve got to be in it to win it.

Sorry Boogeyman, not changing the competition.

  6. wazza (Bezi) says:

    @Boogeyman : lol, same here.
Andy Cole Andy Cole, Andy Andy Cole !

  7. Dani says:

Boogeyman, get the 98/99 season review. His partnership with Yorke was one of best of all time.

For the emotion, i’d say the third against Juventus or the one against the Spurs.

  8. Osci says:

What a brilliant player he was for us! But I don’t like the fact that he went to play for City in 2005-2006…

  9. mufcdevils says:
