Morning all. Great news. Smalling is back at practice.

Can’t wait for Sunday. Hope we do some damage and up our league position!

best news i’ve heard in a while. We’re really stretching our defensive options and it’s about time our future centrebacks start getting some valuable gametime and experience. altho making a comeback into our toughest run of fixtures isn’t exactly a very good time

  9. utd_fc says:

hope sir alex doesn’t start chopping and changing now just because we have options coming back. the defence needs continuity

  10. Bobby Charlton's combover says:

I really think Ferguson has to seriously consider Evra’s place as first-choice left full back.
The arrival of Buttner and Silvestre (ha-ha) doesn’t seem to have inspired him to return
to the level of previous performances and quite frankly he seems to be getting worse.
Ferguson can be overly loyal to some players and Evra seems to be one of those but
what happens on the pitch is what counts and for Paddy it’s just not happening.

If Fergie starts playing Smalling at RB I’ll go bananas. Smalling is a CB, a potentially brilliant one. He has some great attributes. 6ft 4, fast, strong, composed on the ball, good in the air.

Basically everything a defender needs to be world class: Smalling has.

Evans and Smalling are the future, still not sold on young Phil but time is on his side. I vote play them as much as possible, same goes for Anderson and Cleverley. Youth use to be a big factor for Fergie but over the last 4 years it really hasn’t been, i just want him to give them all a real go now and not keep holding them back to give the pensioners there last hurrah.

The last 2 seasons have supposedly been transitional seasons but each time it’s failed to materialise because the youngsters aren’t getting the games.

    Great picture of King Eric.

Question: where can I get the massive Cantona poster from the film ‘looking for Eric’ been looking for ages and still no luck so thought I’d see if anyone knew something I didn’t.

    Thanks
