Disagree, kan-kan. I think Dioufy will be on the left in a straight-up 4-4-2.

  6. Fred says:

I hope Pogba, Morrison and Will Keane get on the pitch! :)

  7. kanchelskis says:

  13. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Like the line up. Strong line up to start with with the kids on the bench instead of the reverse.

@ Zibbie – Thanks for the best wishes.

@ Fred – Keep that news quiet or I’ll have Madrid to deal with. Don’t fancy a headbutting duel with Zidane!!! Cheers fella.

  14. Fred says:

Holy shit, calm down Slim!

Kanchelskis – I think i will be this:

    Amos
    Fabio, Jones, Vidic, Fryers

  15. Red Neck says:

I don’t expect to see miracles from TC tonight but bloody great to see him back at last.

  16. mikekelly12 says:

    Fred
Not sure if you’ve seen it but confirmed by Andrew (Tuffy): Tiote and Banega heading to Old Trafford for £40m in January!!

  17. mikekelly12 says:

Any decent links boys? Or am I gonna have to go round my old mans gaff to watch the game?

  18. Fred says:

LOL NRD  Mum’s the word from now on then.

  19. Fred says:

  22. Zibbie says:

Good to see Ravel in the side. Chin up while keeping the nose to the grind stone. Keep up the good work lad.
    Awesome a game day!!!

  23. Fred says:

Mike, just Google “first row” and follow the first link. ;)

  28. Ratbag says:

Glad to see TC back….hope he can make a difference and as above would love to see Ravel, Pogba and W. Keane get a decent run out….bring it on!!!!

  29. Sandeep1878 says:

    No Lindergard,

does that mean he will be starting the Goodison park game?

  30. Ratbag says:

Also Larnell Cole…..he is pretty damn good too….

  31. mikekelly12 says:

    booandman
Sorry pal, just me and Fred pissing about from another thread.

    Sandeep
Hooping to see Pogba, Morrison and Will Keane tonight. Don’t rate Diouf one iota!

    Fred
    Cheers pal

  32. Zibbie says:

    NRD you are welcome.
Slim I like reading your comments during the game.

  33. Football1st says:

Awesome bench, lets hope pogba, keane, morrison get some time.

  34. Red Neck says:

Hope Morrison gets on and takes the chance with both hands. It would be great for himself and united if he could step up tonight.

  35. booandman says:

C’mon Fred – tell us more about these Jan deals….

  36. Fred says:

Sandeep – it means one of two things:

    a) he’s been dropped after a furious bust-up with Fergie

    b) he was too emotional to take part after watching a weepy movie last night

  37. Fred says:

booandman – I don’t have the inside track. It was WilleRedNut who told me about Tiote and dannysoya who broke the Banega story. These two are usually VERY reliable.

I do know of one transfer United are working on atm but I can’t say much about it. All you need to know is that we have a man in Asia working on a deal to bring us one of that continent’s top stars. It’s top secret though, so don’t go tweeting it like Tufty did!

  38. mikekelly12 says:

    Fred
We need to take ALL copies of The Note Book out of circulation before our season spirals out of control. Looks like Lindergard will be picking his nose tonight!!

  39. Gary says:

I rate Ever Banega but can we welcome another Argentinian to the club? I don’t trust any of them after the two previous twats. Rumours are bound to do the rounds after Sunday anyway.

  40. Sandeep1878 says:

    Fred, lol :)

    Mike,

yeah excited about the usual suspect pogba as well :)

if keanes and Morrisons come on, then i will be seeing them for the first time live :)

    come in UNITED

  41. gaz says:

    ravel morrison please!!

  42. mikekelly12 says:

    New thread gents!

  43. Fred says:

Picking your nose beats picking the ball out of your net 6 times! Anders should count himself lucky.

  44. FletchTHEMAN says:

manunited.com will have radio commentary of the match. don’t think there is a live video feed.

  45. Fred says:

There is if you look hard enough!

All you need to know about tonight’s opponents:

Founded: 1992 (replacing debt ridden Aldershot FC who were founded in 1926)
    Division: League Two
Last season: 14th in League Two
Current season: 11th in League Two
    Stadium: Recreation Ground (7,100 capacity)
Manager: Dean Holdsworth (35% win record)
Highest finish: 6th in League Two (2009-2010)

    ;)

  46. booandman says:

Fred – You do realise that this gossip will no doubt end up on the back page of one of the red tops in the next few days…!!!!

    Get it copyrighted quick..;))

  47. Fred says:

Well I might as well reveal that the player in question is none other than Hidetoshi Nakata! ;)

  48. Bernard Matthews says:

What has happened to Macheda? Disappointed that we didn’t loan him out considering he had a decent pre-season but isn’t getting a look-in. Should have sent him to Everton or somewhere similar for the year…

  49. JC says:

8mins in why aren’t we up 2-0 yet?! We’re shite obviously, buy everybody!

  50. Devil310 says:

Fuck…..VIDA looks so off pace is not even funny

  51. jayunited says:

@devil i wnt say vida is off pace, jst mistimed that

  52. JC says:

    Now there’s a Berbacool goal!

  53. jayunited says:

see the impact of vida nd cleverly in that goal.nice

  54. TonyBee says:

    yawn

  55. jayunited says:

its been berbashow in the firsthalf..weldne fryers too

  56. Balaji Sivaraman says:

I am feeling the Berbalove. :D

  57. Ricstah says:

I’m so happy Pogba and Ravel Morrison played especially Ravel if you have been watching the boy progress he is without doubt the best youngster in england. Imo better than Wilshere though he’s class too..wish he could show it.. if only fergie would give him the chance like wenger did. Not just in cups where he got to impress but with players like rooney vida clev nani young welb etc around him he would and WILL take care of business. he has everything Touch, vision, pace, shot, atitude..positional sense!

  58. MATHIAS says:

good line up ,at least none of them played in the 1-6 mouling by city.these are fresh legs
