Very sub par performance from the players we really didn’t get a foot hole in the game until the last 5 mins, not enough aggressive attacking play, too much sitting back and conceding pressure.

We were very poor today, not sure why Fergie put Anderson and Carrick in midfield, they were completely dominated the whole game. Anderson is starting to run on very thin ice now in my opinion, too often he is anonymous, doesnt work hard enough, and looks slow and labouring.
I was surprised Fergie didnt go with one up top and put 5 in midfield. We do it everytime against Arsenal, and usually win. Not that they created a host of chances, and we actually probably had the best ones in the game, but overall we looked sluggish and not at the races.
Rooney was poor, Carrick was poor, Rio and Vidic were smashing it over the top to their keeper the whole game – very bizarre performance. Just one of those days I think.

People are forgetting obvious differences between last season’s game at home and next week’s.
Last season, Rooney was injured and playing at about 25% of his best and his slump had just started. This season it is the complete opposite to put it mildly.
Last season, we came off the disappointing loss to Bayern. That won’t be the case this season.
Plus, most importantly, we made the mistake last season and paid for it and learnt from it. That means this season we won’t repeat that mistake.

Scholes would have been better… Its a good idea to attack down both wings… but u need 2 midfielders in the middle capable of delivering good balls… Park definitely isnt ttat man… If rooney has dropped in to do that, then tats fine…

The league could be decided against Chelsea but typical United would be for it to come down to the last day of the season. Also, the Champions League could be a chance to get revenge on Barca and put the ‘best team in the world’ in their place or if Real get through then it’s Fergie Vs Mourinho (our potential next coach?) and Ronaldo Vs his old club etc. I just hope Lady Destiny is a United supporter!

4. If you remove Nani from the Picture Our midfield has only Scored 10 Goals HOME & AWAY ALL SEASON!!… thats just telling and too reliant on 1 player and the forwards……..
