  1. T. says:

Our new spanish green thin Giant deserves a mentioning today as well. Fuckin superman saves game after game. Kepp up the good work and next year we wont let one single goal in! Flying brick wall!!!!

  2. MG says:

I understand Gary has to be neutral and all but not picking Evans as one of his best defenders is wrong

Evans has been the best defender period – and it’s excellent to see him overcome his nerves

    Evans  Kompany

  3. Costas says:

    7 in 2 it is. ;)

My comment was actually sarcactic mate. Like you, I’ve also noticed that their form has dropped in recent weeks. In my opinion, it doesn’t help that they are not challenged by a 4th striker anymore. Berbatov could and should have featured more often. Unless form isn’t the main criteria for selecting players…

  4. King Eric says:

That’s how you win titles City you bottling cunts. Professional display from start to finish. God I love Tony. Well done lads. HUGE step to number 20.

  6. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@Berbaclass valid points I think it’s safe to say the manager is keeping faith with Hernandez Welbeck and Rooney. Owen will play this season before Berbatov. Time for all to move on. As fans we want loyalty from players and when someone shows it and the same courtesy isn’t shown by the club we shouldn’t expect less than mercenaries in the future.

  7. Costas says:

Like MG said, you just have to like kebabs. Then me, he and Eboue will take care of the rest.

  8. MG says:

    Time to go.

    What can I say?

The shirt is a symbol of defiance isn’t it? It will not lie down, it will just not go away. It will not be beaten until time runs out.

    Yet again what a privilege

  9. samuel - united WE stand says:

I’m off to see mancini and ask about the draw tonight. That italian is always right isn’t he?.

De gea really is slowly moving towards being one of the World’s best. Confidence has increased massively and his all round ability has come on leaps and bound.

  10. CedarsDevil says:

Kebab course? You’re heading in the wrong direction mate if you think MG and Costas can give you the real deal……….. Greek kebabs are fake pal, Lebanese/Turkish kebabs now that is what I am talking about ……..Don’t let them fool you buddy

  11. Berbaclass says:

@Costas Amen to that. What I don’t get is that Berba has been a true gent, very respectful towards club and fans, played a huge contribution last season while Rooney was planning his pension. But seems like you get axed for playing ‘lazily’ (while stats generally show he contributes much more than other ‘tireless’ players) and not scoring in the big games. FML describes Berbatov’s stay at United coz nothing could save him, not even the hat trick + overhead kick against liverpool, 3 hat tricks in a single season, 5 goals in a single game and winning the golden boot. Seriously, he’s one unlucky bastard!

  12. YesRed says:

Costas is kebab or gyro ? Either way I’m in !!!!

Scarf can we have your prediction for Sunday ?

  13. Brigadier19 says:

    @Costas / MG .

    Great Stuff chaps

Just triffic that son. Where United are at this moment, Where Liverpool slide towards and where Leeds are now make me equally as happy as you and all.

He came, he saw, he flapped, he fumbled, he teased, he saved, he shaved and make no mistake…he will conquer.David de Gea – Superhero #MUFC

  14. Berbaclass says:

@NotoriousRedDevil Sad but true. Being totally honest, I don’t always agree with SAF, but still… In Fergie we trust! To number 20!

  15. satinoz says:

37 – There were 37 passes in the move for Ashley Young’s goal tonight, the longest sequence of any PL goal this season.

  16. King Eric says:

Cedars. I thought Rafa was quality mate.

Fletch. Hello mate. I know what you mean about Gaz and he is a great commentator. However imo he should be at United on the defensive coaching side of things. Could tell he was buzzing tonight though. Odd team of year he picked. That toff cunt Hart has been conceding for fun this side of xmas. Walker? Coloccini over Evans. Come on Gaz lad.

Well for all the stick Rio gets he is still top drawer on his day.

Kudos to our fans for the full repotoire of songs. Yip yap stam, keanos fucking magic. The whole song book tonight. Great night.

We don’t panic. We just play our football and 99 times out of a 100 they come up with the goods. Fucking get in. May just pay bluemoon a quick visit. Now THAT will be a laugh.

  17. WillieRedNut says:

    Berbaclass = Timbo ;)

  18. Costas says:

We’ve settled on kebabs, lol. Another follower. :)

Probably wrong timing as well. Could have been a different story if he was born a few years before he did and joined us in the 90s. My main hope now is that his forced absence won’t prove costly in any way. And once we’ve secured the title, hopefully he’ll play 1-2 games. I agree with Notorious about loyalty being a two way street. Can’t say I admire how we handled the matter in the last year.

  19. CedarsDevil says:

    King Eric

He was class no? Now lets all watch and laugh at the bitters falling apart next weekend…….

Been saying this for weeks, by the time we go to shitlands we will be champions

  20. dasilvatwins says:

you can buy your eggs from waitrose!….but if they are not hard boiled…they will begin to crack……… :D

  21. Norwegian Devil says:

    Glory glory Man United!!

DDG MOTM for me, as those crucial saves in the first half kept us alive!! I think he will be worlds greatest goalie ever in the future.

Cheers lads, lets move our focus to QPR. We are close, but it is not done yet!

  22. Hans says:

I just heard that Mancini is complaining about groundsmen at Ewood Park. The byline was not painted correctly. It should have been curved a bit so the disallowed goal should have stood. PRICK!!!!

Anyway, much better performance than against Fulham and would have preferred an earlier goal, but it is all well that ends well. Best DeGea performance for us by far. No one can underestimate the importance of the saves that he made tonight. If Valencia cost us dearly at Ewood Park two years ago, he paid us back with interest tonight. Credit to Fergie as well for substitutions as the side he put out tonight was very unbalanced. I thought, Giggsy and then young turned the game around.

    We shall not be moved!!!!!!!!

  23. FletchTHEMAN says:

King Eric. Great win. Patience and Composure and still attacking to the last minute. Always had confidence in this one. But would have been different if not for an outstanding set of saves from DeGea and that crucial boot from Rio.

Think Nev had to tip Hart for keeper in the XI, I would have gone for Michel Vorm personally but that wouldn’t have been the fashionable thing. Thats in a non United XI mind ;P .

If you lads want some good entertainment check out RAWK and Blue Moon rising. Not if your are a softie mind. Not pretty really…. Bit like watching lemmings going over the cliff

  24. King Eric says:

As folk know I have always loved Berba and think he should be getting games but I am sure there will be a reason Fergie doesn’t fancy him. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors.

  25. Red Neville says:

I’m disappointed nobody spotted my “Abbott & Costello” style pun at 18:59, come on guys – any takers?

Let’s hope we can seal the title at the Idiot Stadium.

  26. Zibbie says:

    3 road points!

If we don’t get that zip in our play soon, time to liven it with some of Ash’s footwork, vision of Giggs and Welly Workrate.

Taking off Scholes,Jones and Chicha will do in around 15 minutes

    Young TIME

I Am A Fricking Genius, TonyBee Knows this too, I am an all seeing kind of guy, a mastermind tactician, a motivator and innovator, a man that foresee’s and reads all situations and judges objectively. I AM LEGEND. Tony V was a product of my system, Young was my Call, SAF followed me to Glory. Under my Guidance We Will Reach 20. I’d say the fans were great, but I Am Thee Fan, so no point drawing further attention to a man of great nobility.

I cannot take credit for all of today’s work because I am a selfless, modest man, shy of the spotlight and I prefer criticism instead of praise. I am to humble to accept all recognition, so I would like to share this burden with Sir Alex Ferguson who did his part too.

Kudos to Papii + Sir Fergie 8)

  28. WillieRedNut says:

Berba’s locked in a cage somewhere in Carrington. ;)

  29. iced earth says:

    great win
de gea proving he is the find of the season
we are the champions WHY ALWAYS US ?!

  30. samuel - united WE stand says:

Next season, i think we’ll be debating who will be partnering evans. He really had a wobble at one stage in his united career but he’s now developed further with confidence and authority. has been quality this season.

  31. RedHarry4Life says:

DDG – I have said it all along, said it at the start of the season when the Media were all having their wankfiest jumping up n down anythime DDG even made the slightlest mistake. The media did have an agenda to disrupt DDG.

Memo to the media – The boy has got balls of steel you have only made him harder, better and more determined – Thanks

I will say it again and again. DDG will be up there with Peter the great as tyhe best goalie of all time.

    DDG is that good!

I wonder if Mankini could give me the numbers for Fridays Euromillions?

Must admit that £500 million imnvestment for 1 FA Cup is a great return by the ragheads

  32. RedHarry4Life says:

Could this have been a better weekend????????

    United going 5 points clear

Klu Klux Kenny and his merry band of klansmen getting fucked over by the geordies

Mystic mankini what a prediction 100% acurate.

MMMMMMMMM let me seee well if Bree olson had also polished my bellend for a couple of hours it would have been perfect.

    Nah its been flawless.

Bree can pop around next Sunday

  33. FletchTHEMAN says:

Goals are now up. New thread mates!

  34. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@King Eric Hello mate, I agree to an extent about closed doors theory but we can only go by what’s reported. From what’s been reported Berbas behaviour has been almost impeccable (being pedantic him staying in dressing room after not making the CL Final squad being the only blemish). Unlike tevez and to a lesser extent Ruud there really isn’t anything negative that’s been reported.

There may well be a valid reason but to me the club could have handled things better. Anyway all over this summer and Owen will be striker number 4 when he can be bothered to stay fit.

  35. MrKirie says:

Big smile on my face right now :)

Credit to blackburn for defending well obviously, but i thought our starting line-up and formation was a bit flawed. No width at all on the left against a really compact Rovers. Might have been the plan all along fron the marvel that is Sir Alex and his subs made a huge impact.

Another great game by our defenders. My Johnny Evans is brilliant these days. I thought with Jones and Smalling coming in, we had seen the last if him and truthfully I was rather pleased. I’m happy to say I was massively mistaken!

DDG… Wow! Gem! I’ve always rated him highly though and I was confident that when he got those errors out of his system, he’s be fantastic.

I don’t know why Jones was more attacking than Rooney in the first half. He’s a cm, not an attacking playmaker. Looked out of his depth for me whenever he got the ball close to the box. Rooney a bit off aswell. We have the best right winger in the league though, so we could afford it :) . What a goal!!!!!

Lastly, saw some bitters commenting about Webb being our 12th man today. Clutching at straws, if anything he helped Blackburn by not sending off that idiot who elbowed Scholes!

  36. LoneStarRed says:

@ Clint Credit to you for calling for Ashley Young. And double credit to you for being so modest….not.

  37. WillieRedNut says:

He’s taking the papiss. Like Cisse done against the vermin. ;)

I found out where Berba is? He’s locked in the basement with Doc Dre!!

  38. Man_1 says:

DDG was fantastic again, Valencia for me the man of the match. What’s wrong with Rooney? He was so poor yesterday and the game before yesterday. He can’t pass the ball to his mate. There were times when I used to think he is in Messi, Ronaldo class but I was completely wrong. Nobody is commenting on Rooney,s performance because we do love him but he has to really improve. And he is no a MIDFIELDER!!! C’mon United!
