Interesting to see which of the three are attacking mids. Scholes rolling back the years?

  2. berbatunday says:

    3 5 2?

  3. Udyat says:

    What’s the formation gonna be?

  4. edcunited1878 says:

No width in the starting XI or bench…

Bench: Amos, Smalling, Giggs, Park, Pogba, Young, Welbeck

  5. FletchTHEMAN says:

Subs: Amos Welbeck Giggs Smalling Pogba Park Young

What happened to Tom, Picked up a knock?

  6. Zemmamma777 says:

Is Jones or Rooney playing at LM? Either way, a strong lineup and hopefully Jonesy can get back into that good form and turn in a good performance tonight!

  7. Udyat says:

Maybe Jones is the RB with Rafael playing winger?

  8. Costas says:

Meh, Rooney on the left by the looks of it. I hope we don’t waste him over there. Chicharito doesn’t exactly click as a lone striker either.

  9. What Fucking What says:

I don’t fancy Evra playing LW… last time fergie did that, it was a disaster…

  10. FletchTHEMAN says:

Ref is Howard Webb. Expect a card or two

  11. dannysoya LOVES SIAN MASSEY says:

Aiiii. Line up has me a bit worried. Jones in midfield again? don’t like that and it looks like Hernandez is playing on his own upfront. Hasn’t done too well in the past on his own. I just hope we get the win and GET OUT of there quickly.

  12. ClaytonBlackmoresTan says:

Subs: Amos, Giggs, Smalling, Park, Young, Welbeck, Pogba.

    Happy.

Into ‘em from the whistle lads, c’mon United!

  13. Costas says:

Pogba on the bench probably means that he will stay.

    For this week anyway…

  14. Danizizu says:

    Jones in midfield???

  15. Balaji Sivaraman says:

It will be interesting to see how the team lines up. 4-5-1 isn’t exactly the greatest start to the night. As Costas said on Twitter, that is showing a little too much respect to Blackburn especially when our defense has been in cracking form. But hey, he’s always the man with the plan, so it is wise to let things unravel.

  16. Costas says:

    Also, where’s Cleverley?

  17. Dave W says:

    4-3-3?

  18. Zemmamma777 says:

    @Costas

He’s off to Juve next week, then? Or Real Madrid? Has to be Sunderland, by the looks of it… Shitty might have an outside chance to get him!

  19. Rotegzy says:

    4-3-2-1(4-5-1) I think…..

  20. Lebomanc says:

    Where’s cleverley & berbaaa??
Hope ppogba plays though and we really need those goals coming so come on united!!

  21. CedarsDevil says:

Right , I am off this place gets strange during match days….

    Come ON United

  22. MG says:

Cut and pasted from other blog:

Time to start landing this 20th title Manchester United.

A little bit of turbulence we can handle and wouldn’t expect nothing else, but nevertheless a near enough smooth landing would be very much appreciated

    ;)

    19

    Costas

Pogba, he not going for this week no?

  23. redevil_83 says:

wazza will play wide left, valencia on the opposite side. chicarito upfront

  24. edcunited1878 says:

It looks so narrow. I can see Wayne and Chicha up top with Wayne coming back per usual, but behind them is Jones, Scholes and Valencia with Carrick holding.

  25. redevil_83 says:

strange looking line up but trust the gaffer. at least its not rafael and park in midfld again lol

    B E L I E V E

  26. Y@SH says:

    Rooney on the Left..:)..Strong Mid..GGMU

  27. Bring#20 says:

Evea on left flank with Jones as LB.

  28. Vijayakumar says:

Ashley young instead of jones. Otherwise good team

  29. bobbianco says:

Come on United. I see no problems today. easy win.

  30. fergie is the boss says:

the side seems a littler unbalanced, with only valencia has our only natural wide player

  31. FletchTHEMAN says:

Blackburn XI: Robinson, Orr, Martin Olsson, Hanley, Dann, Marcus Olsson, Lowe, Pedersen, Nzonzi, Yakubu, Hoilett.

  32. WillieRedNut says:

The teams picked now boys. Strange formation, yes, but there may be method behind this madness. I just wish Fergie would show this flexibility in Europe! :) That’s where it’s needed most imo.

  33. bertiebirdman says:

I can’t figure out the formation. They have Giggs, Young, Park and Welbeck, all of whom can play on the left.

Maybe Jones, Scholes and Carrick in the centre and Rooney (L) Chica (C) and Valencia (R) in a 4-3-3?

  34. Lebomanc says:

    Bertiebirdman
Ya I think a 4-3-3 would be the best at the moment

  35. redevil_83 says:

jones is in there for the physique. we won’t let rovers hussle us in size advantage vamos you reds

  36. sa2lly_united says:

30 minutes to kickoff !!!!!!!!! finally

  37. bertiebirdman says:

    Jonesy also has ‘inside knowledge’.

  38. The Big Red says:

    any streaming link guys???

  39. MG says:

Bell bhat I banna shay ish dhat jou know ah 20 titles comin no?

  40. xol says:

Hope to see Rafael and Valencia linking up down the right but that could still happen even if it’s Jones at RB – if Rafa’s on the right side of midfield.

It’s one of those formations to get the opposition guessing.

  41. BOOCH says:

Hello Everyone on this site Come on united and hopefully rooney will score first and united 2 win 4 0 anyone agree or disgree

  42. xol says:

    Scott
There’s a financial ad at the top saying, “Discover the advantages of leverage”. Small print says, “risk involved”. Tell us about it. Talk about preaching to the converted!

  43. MG says:

    BOOCH

I’ll agree with that 4-0 of yours ;)

  44. quba says:

    4 3 3 this shld be a good one

  45. xol says:

    sopcast 3912/106723 is just starting.

  46. ScholesForGoals says:

10 minutes to go, time to go to work lads. Young and Giggs to make the difference in the 2nd half.. Think it could go to 0-0 at half time. Gonna be a toughie but we’re up for it!

    Come on Reds!!!

  47. Brendan says:

Think it will b a 2-2 draw, one of our toughest games left !!

  48. George Joseph says:

Come united !!!!! Let’s go it

  49. Red Neville says:

The guy on the radio has just said “Bradley or…….” comes into the team for Blackburn.

Why did he refuse to finish his sentence?

  50. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Rooney on left then must have the two games in 3 days in mind. Berbatov getting the Dwight Yorker treatment from 2002. Almost certain he had played last game for us now. I don’t think Jones should be in centre midfield have to be honest he scares the fuck out of me when he plays anywhere other than right back. Regardless strong team no excuses come on UNITED

  51. quba says:

    Come on boyz

  52. edwin says:

    COME ON UNITED!!!

  53. Bishopville Red says:

Vieira chant? Anybody have the words?

    SB

  54. mattos says:

i can hear the away boys giving a good rendition of gary neville is a red

  55. mattos says:

carrick, great ball to rafael. and the away boys are in full force singing tonight!

    fuck off city
    fuck off city
    fuck off city

  56. eric keane says:

Come on united! Raise the tempo now!!!

  57. George Joseph says:

Come on united we are so boring

  58. Mahesh says:

Its going okay – slightly flat…just can make sense of what Jones is supposed to be doing in this game…him being there is effectively denying us width on the left, where evra seems to be all alone!

  59. bbqbod says:

this is such a boring match.

  60. George Joseph says:

We are too predictable for fuck sake

  61. MyCowIsTheBest says:

this is a good material if you want to compile videos about Scholes passing. Simply awesome.

  62. Vilhelm28 says:

Nice and neat, but not decisive. Gotta put our chances away, or it will bite us.

  63. bbqbod says:

wtf he gives Valencia a yellow for that and totoally ignores a punch on Jones

  64. Shebangsthedrums says:

Never a yellow for Tony. Did the lad get a card for grabbing Jones round the neck and shoving him to the floor?

  65. bbqbod says:

    ok ..shove in the face

  66. Shebangsthedrums says:

Webb doing his best to prove he’s not a United fan!

  67. bbqbod says:

Howard Webb is an utter CUNT!

  68. eric keane says:

Need to increase the tempo. Blackburn are so bloody negative. This game is crying out for cleverly. We need to be patient

  69. Maheshs says:

We do not need Jones in midfield…we’re just depriving ourselves of decent attacking outlets..keep having to our the right with valencia, with absolutely no options down the left!

  70. iced earth says:

    fuck webb

  71. Vilhelm28 says:

Blackburn end up with maybe the 3 best chances.

  72. Maheshs says:

rooney can be very irritating when he tries to overdo his midfield role looking for cute passes instead of being more direct!

  73. eric keane says:

I’m in love with de gea! He’s kept us in here

  74. MyCowIsTheBest says:

Haha.. this is the feeling.. after watching United for years, you will be accustomed to this feeling. Watching United is 90% about watching the lads trying to breakthrough the TWO lines of FOUR sitting just in front of the opposition’s goal. And the opposition will use just any way they can to defend, including pushing the ball away using hands.

That’s why 1-0 is our standard result. hehe

  75. Bishopville Red says:

Super save on 45 mins from David de Gea, followed by another. Let’s get this turned around: For all our dominance, they’ve had enough chances to take us.

  76. Maheshs says:

    my lord de gea!

  77. TonyBee says:

    eric keane says:
I’m in love with de gea! He’s kept us in here

ditto Eric….. what a fucking save just afore HT

  78. JC says:

David de Gea – Superman /end

  79. TheCANTONA says:

Both goalkeepers are playing really good tonight…

  80. mattos says:

blackburn putting a lot of men behind the ball.. making it difficult for us.

  81. WeAreUnited says:

    DE GEA IS SAVING US.

I LOVE CHICHA. but young or welbeck to the left wing and rooney CF.

chicha isnt involved that much. so more options to our game.

  82. bbqbod says:

De Gea making some top drawer saves!

  83. ScholesForGoals says:

I had a funny feeling it would be 0-0 at half time. Clear dominance in possession, just seem to lose our bottle outside the box. Welbeck to come on offer a little something more in terms of strength for those high balls.

    45 mins left = 5 points

  84. iced earth says:

    senior de gea

  85. dannysoya LOVES SIAN MASSEY says:

OMG DAVID DE GEA!!! WHAT A BEAST!!!!

  86. eric keane says:

Its one of those games which we nick at 70 mins or so.
I say bring off jones for young.
Absolutely no width on the left hand side.

  87. AntiScouser says:

    man crush de gea.

  88. George Joseph says:

This match has draw all over it.

  89. MEXICO is RED says:

    Keep Calm and Carry On
    Go Manchester United!

  90. Hans says:

Super DeGea kept us in this march.
We are controlling the match but hardly troubling their defence. I think the side is unbalanced. Only Pat on the left hand side. So far Rafael and Jones have been disappointing. We need to show more urgency, we are too fucking casual.
Let’s hope those DeGea save inspire the lads.

  91. ScholesForGoals says:

A few world class saves from Dave. Makes me laugh when I think of all the critics who wrote him off at the beginning of the season. Beast.

  92. Red Neville says:

Too large a part of our game tonight has been getting the ball wide to get it into the box – I think Blackburn have seen this tactic once or twice before. Desperately need more sophistication, otherwise Blackburn will end up creating more chances with a minority of the possession.

Also, is Rooney under-hitting his passes for charity just lately?

  93. Costas says:

Blackburn nearly nicked a goal there in the end, but overall it’s been a fine display by us. Just lacking that killer ball. Maybe we should go low instead of aiming for someone’s head?

  94. LoneStarRed says:

WHO WILL STEP UP ??? We need a moment of brilliance!!!

  95. Ryandunny says:

Think we could do with Young on the left to be honest. Only real attacking threat from us is down the right with Tony and Rafael. Leaves Rooney, Scholes and Carrick with limited options to pass too.

  96. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Howard Webb booked Valencia for a nothing foul while left Nzonze off for what was a seemingly red card offense. Red would’ve been harsh but that was at least a booking in my view. He flailed his arms about and almost slapped Jones in the face.

I don’t see anybody swallowing their words regarding De Gea. He has been really top drawer since the Chelsea game and I would say he is at the top of the list of people we have to think when we win the 20th this season. What a top GK he has turned out to be.

Has the great Sir Alex finally found a conundrum he can’t solve? I am, of course, talking about Phil Jones who seems to be everywhere and nowhere. He really seems to be lost where he’s playing. He was quite good when paired with Michael Carrick in a two-man mid-field where the synergy between them was exception. But with Carrick and Scholes covering behind him, he has been asked to go more forward and he can’t seem to find anything to do there. He’s not making the right runs and he isn’t finding space for himself to receive the pass like the other two are doing. I really feel for the lad. Of course, all part of figuring out where best to play him I guess. I just hope that he settles down from next season because this can’t be good for the lad at all.

Anyways, patience is required and probably a shift to 4-4-2. Blackburn are there for the taking. They are giving far too much space to our attacker, at least, were in the initial part of the game. Rooney is wasted out left and is coming inside far too much leaving Evra out alone which means we don’t have enough width. Valencia and Rafael have been combining really well as well.

This game is screaming for a goal to open it up.

  97. eric keane says:

    Hope we nick it!!!
Have a weird feeling about this one. Seriously hope I’m wrong though

  98. CedarsDevil says:

Our away supporters have been brilliant, oh and i think DDG is shit!

  99. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Fuck the performance 1 nil will do for me. Bit too patient in final third for my liking.

  100. Utd4life says:

Need to step it up a gear. We have been far too predictable. Pass the ball to the wings and cross the ball in. This tactic ain’t going to work all the time. We need to bring on Welbeck and Young.

  101. TonyBee says:

come on you fucking red s…beat these cunts and send Kean the backstabber down to the championship

  102. eric keane says:

    Balaji top post mate!
I believe we need cleverly on in this one.
    Is he on the bench?

  103. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

If Mancini gets this one right  what where the odds 50-50? 8)

  104. TonyBee says:

stop trying to stir the shit up Cedars you knob jockey. DDG IS SHIT …YEAH RIGHT

  105. mattos says:

    @ cedars

totally agree with the away supporters. the gary neville and fuck off city renditions were funny as fuck

  106. fitz'em'good'n'tight says:

    Not enough shots being taken.
If you dont shoot, you will never score!!

United playing well tonight without ever looking like making the breakthrough, we need to up the tempo for the second half. a bit more concentration with the final ball.

de gea pulled off a couple of decent saves but they were saves you would expect him to make.
i still think we will win it 2-0 rooney and valencia.

  107. Robbo says:

I am pretty sure Cleverley is on the bench, but I havent seen Young!

Wellbeck would give us better options up front. Better movement and touch.

  108. ScholesForGoals says:

    Balaji well said mate.

Cedars, away support have been quality haven’t they! Love em.

  109. Costas says:

Well the way we’ve lined up, it’s harder to break them down. All of our attacks come from the right. I actually like how Jones has played thus far, but he’s not necesssary in this game.

  110. eric keane says:

    DDG as striker > RVP

  111. edwin says:

    Need to be careful here…

  112. Utd4life says:

And what the hell is Jones doing? There is absolutely no width on the left flank.

  113. edwin says:

    COME ON UNITED!!!!

  114. JC says:

Jones and Valencia playing head and shoulders above everyone else atm, if Rooney’s going to be positioned out on the left he needs to stay out there and help out Evra when he gets the ball all alone 1 on 3 and can’t do anything with it as no one is there to overlap or help out with a run. I’d bring off Rafa as he can’t get anything going in the final half, move Jones back to the RB and bring on Young personally to let Wayne play more central where he’s comfortable but what do I know.

  115. Red#20 says:

Bring in young and welbeck for jones and chicha

  116. TheCANTONA says:

Here’s the 2nd half! COME ON UNITED! 19ELIEVE!!!

  117. Redlife says:

Hernandez isn’t bringing much to the game in the form of link up play. We’re not giving him the right service. I think Young needs to come on or Welbeck in his place.

  118. micho says:

so boring, fall asleep. miss the lazy berba :(

  119. parryheid says:

The word casual springs to mind, get waking up United.

  120. Redlife says:

and we’re not breaking fast enough. they are getting into position time after time.

  121. orez says:

I can’t watch the game cause of work. What’s going on. Are we playing to win? Do the guys know how important this game is?

  122. Mahesh says:

We actually CANNOT break fast enough because blackburn know our only outlet is down the right…if we width on the left as well things might be different…rooney needs to step up here..he doesn’t seem very interested in scoring goals…

  123. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

If we don’t get that zip in our play soon, time to liven it with some of Ash’s footwork, vision of Giggs and Welly Workrate.

Taking off Scholes,Jones and Chicha will do in around 15 minutes

  124. mattos says:

what was that elbow on scholes then by hanley

  125. bbqbod says:

jeezus! that was a red surely!! Scholes shoulda roled around on the ground

  126. TonyBee says:

FUCK ME RAFAEL STINGING THE GOALIES FINGERS……….

  127. TonyBee says:

    Chico needs coming off

  128. TonyBee says:

and fucking Carrick ….what the fuck was that….

  129. Vilhelm28 says:

Can see jones and chica off, but not scholes.

  130. kev e says:

We’re playing really fucking well!!! Impressed by serious amount of pressure we’re putting them under. The United fans are rocking as well!!! Just need a goal and then it will be a hatful… Just one goal!!! Great to see them playing with such drive! C’mon United!!!

  131. bbqbod says:

seriously.that Howard Webb. Hes a class fucking act aint he! Fucking cheating whore

  132. TonyBee says:

fucking Howard Webb…cunt…gonna lose his win bonus at this rate

  133. Shebangsthedrums says:

Good sub, hopefully. Was hoping for an easy win so I can revise for an interview in the morning. Not much chance of that.

  134. NigerianRed says:

I think its time Jones made way for Young

  135. bbqbod says:

    COme on Giggsy

  136. The team that wouldn't die says:

    To much respect.
    BRING IT ON!

  137. NigerianRed says:

    I’ll take Giggs too

  138. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

finally SAF has made some good subs, waited a few months for him to make these kinda changes early on.

  139. The team that wouldn't die says:

Midfield looks like an extra matured cheddar…

  140. Vilhelm28 says:

A bit untidy now, lets gather up the forces and put one away.

  141. Shebangsthedrums says:

    Aaaaarrrrrrggghhhhh! Frustrating!

  142. Redlife says:

We’re not creating enough, that’s my worries.

  143. TonyBee says:

Evra’s been on the fucking Ganja

  144. sadiki nakey says:

we need to win this game

  145. LoneStarRed says:

@ TonyBee cough cough cough What was that? BRB, I have the munchies.

  146. parryheid says:

Limping through the game Jesus Christ.

  147. mara says:

    Manchester Shitty hahahahah

  148. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

How many set pieces till we score?

    I’m saying 19

  149. LoneStarRed says:

    Need a break.

  150. TonyBee says:

    get up you dopy cunt…..

  151. Danizizu says:

if watching feels this way,how are the lads feeling?smh

  152. Vilhelm28 says:

    Coooooome on

  153. TonyBee says:

    fucking hell ….come on ffs

  154. TonyBee says:

    attack attack attack attack attack

  155. Redlife says:

i’m sick of this stupid tippy tappy crap near their box.

  156. LoneStarRed says:

At the office. No live link. Following gamecast commentary. Not getting ANY work done. Come on you Reds!!!

  157. NigerianRed says:

What exactly is wrong with Rooney? His touches have been erratic lately

  158. TonyBee says:

  195. Balaji Sivaraman says:

So, ahem, that Young is not United quality, is he?

What a fucking strike that was.

NOTE TO CITY: THIS IS WHAT CHAMPIONS ARE MADE OF. THAT RIGHT THERE. YOU CALL THAT MENTAL ABILITY, STEEL, PERSEVERANCE OR WHAT EVER THE FUCK YOU WANT TO CALL IT.

That is what will make us Champions and that is what you small time cunts will never understand.

This is Manchester United and we never give up.

Fuck, if i jerk off right now, it would probably be non-stop pleasure.

  196. RedHarry4Life says:

    GOALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  197. Vilhelm28 says:

Happy to see Sir Giggs put things right today. Talk about subs.

  206. LoneStarRed says:

    Balaji

STEEL is right brother!!!! UTD’s future dominance is being RIGT NOW!!!

  207. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Oh and Sir Alex’s substitutions have been spot fucking on tonight. We’ve been critical of it in recent times but he has once again shown that he’s the master. Giggs has been key and that is how he “should” be used. That is what most of us have been saying for a long time. Let others run them ragged for 60-65 minutes and let Giggs come on and do what he does best. TEAR THEM APART like he did Blackburn today.

  208. Are you ok Nani? says:

I think Steve McManaman is actually starting to fall in love with United now. Strange times.

  209. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Ashley Young fucking wank ain’t he lads?

  210. James7t7 says:

  214. Shebangsthedrums says:

Sir Alex not impressed with Danny.

  215. RedHarry4Life says:

SAF – Gods special present to United!!!!

    OUR AWAY FANS ARE IMMENSE

  216. unitedyankee says:

Lone Star Red: doing the the same here in Buffalo. Was going to try to wait and watch after work but couldn’t. Feels more like beoing at the game wacthing the commentary and reactions here on ROM. Still will have to watch the goals on DVR. Onwards to 20!

  217. mara says:

Jupiiiiiiiiii….Young and Valencia were not “stars”…but they play like MesRonaldo :)

  218. LoneStarRed says:

    Can we find another?

  219. alfREDo says:

    WE SHALL NOT BE MOVED!!

  220. JC says:

    Champ20ns.

  221. Mahesh says:

How good have our away fans been. we are louder away from home than at home…no doubt about that!

  222. The team that wouldn't die says:

Thank you Tony V for whiping out the false smile on Mankinis face!
Thank you Ashley for getting closer to the Arabs goal difference!
Thank you Fergie for selecting a team that stood up to them and then changing the right players at the right time!
Thank you DDG for saving us when needed!
Thank you MANCHESTER UNITED for focusing and committing to the task!
Thank you away supporters for getting behind the team!
Thank you Sunderland for your efforts!

    Champ20ns!

  223. FletchTHEMAN says:

    5points clear!
One more goal and we are tied on goal differential.

    Big Big step.

If we do the business v QPR we could be 8points clear before City play.

    Get In United!

  224. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Shebangsthedrums, Another example of what separates United and Sir Alex from the rest. You look at Mancini and he’s happy with a draw and the mental victory. You look at Sir Alex and his team’s 2-0 up and he gives Welbeck the bollocking for losing the ball carelessly in the 90th minute of a game.

That is what winners are made of. That is what small time cunts at City will never understand. Fuck them. Ask one of them to stand in front of me and I’ll show them what a good wank all over your face feels like if they haven’t felt it already with this game. Fuck the lot of them.

  225. Redlife says:

Finally someone had a shot at goal. What two great finishes. Brilliant.

  226. What Fucking What says:

That anger in Tony V after he scored tells all about him….. beast….

  227. Balaji Sivaraman says:

The team that wouldn’t die, “Thank you Manchester United – Team B for your efforts!”

There fixed it for you.

  228. LoneStarRed says:

@ UnitedYankee Buffalo, great town, too cold for me though. I Screamed YEEEEESSSS !!!!!! when we scored with hands high in triumph. Half expected someone to look in but most know I back MUFC .

  229. mattos says:

fuck good game by the boys, blackburn defended very well and that was the only reason why we didnt score more. props to tony v who had a blinder of a game. mentions must also go out to de gea and the back four, thought they dealt very well with everything that came at them.

  230. dannysoya LOVES SIAN MASSEY says:

ONE OF MY GREATEST NIGHTS EVER AS A RED!!! I’m still shivering from all the screaming. ANTONIO VALENCIA. I WANT YOU TO BE MY BROTHER!!!! WHAT A FUCKING LEGEND!!!!

Ashley Young….. INSPIRATION WHEN YOU NEED IT THE MOST. FUCKING THANK YOU!!!! .

FIVE POINTS CLEAR AHAHAHAHA. MANCINI WHAT’S THE SCORE? BAHAHAHAHA!!!!

  231. MG says:

I would like to bow down to David De Gea

In him we have the making of a goalkeeper that will run OT and Europe without flinching

After everything he’s been through I can only have more respect.

    19

  232. orez says:

Very important 3 points. Can’t stress it enough. Just freaking great 3 points.

  233. manutdisadream says:

FUCKING VALENCIA BRILLIANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UNITED! UNITED! UNITED!

  234. LoneStarRed says:

@ Fletchtheman IF ???? we do the business against QPR.

  235. tom c says:

  236. CedarsDevil says:

We’ll never die we’ll never coz Man United never die

  237. The Left Bank says:

Tony V the most underrated player in the PL. He’s more valuable than Van Persie or Silva.

United always leave it late and give us all a heart attack but they never say die. Now onwards to QPR.

Stay focused lads. One game at a time.

  238. CedarsDevil says:

Hats off to our away supporters, they were fucking brilliant as ever….

    GET IN

  239. MG says:

    Ceeeeeeeeeeeeeedaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrssssssssssss!

I’m going to go fucking nuts with you

    Yipeeeeeeeeee!

I bet Mike must have enjoyed that!

What about James? Did you go James?

    What a win.

  242. Whiteside says:

Fucking awesome lads, fucking awesome! We just kept winding it up, more and more pressure in that 15 minutes before the first goal then BLAM get in you beauty! We always looked like we were gonna do it! Legends!

  243. redevil_83 says:

    VAAAAAAAAAAAMOOOOOSSS UNITED

    B E L I E V E !

  244. eric keane says:

    Great great win!
Five points ahead with 21 to play for. If we beat qpr we’ll be 8 points ahead and that’ll destroy the already frail manchester city!
    Onwards and upwards united!
Also giggs made his 100th sub appearance for united today, a record a game! Great man!

  245. James21 says:

Thats the bogey side beaten. Very hard fought victory reds could have won us number 20. DDG fantastic saves from such a shite keeper. Yakubu is a whinging bastard should get MOTM for moaning.

Right now on to QPR. COME ON REDS Get em beat and see if Robin Van Cedars can do the shite.

  246. MG says:

MG follows Cedars and bows to our away support

Focus OT that’s how it should be!

    19

  247. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

That was Pure Masturbation in the last 13 minutes….blew my load several times.
The fans was orgasmic ….. those are the real reds not the 40,000 prawn sandwich eating cunts that take up space at OT and love the colour of the pitch and not the team.

We need more of them at OT, even if its a 7000 seater stadium we’ll outscream any knob out there !

    SAF’S FIST PUMPING, CRAZEE CROWD, VALENCIA + YOUNG……BEAUTY—FULL !

  248. WeAreUnited says:

GIGGSY PLAYED LIKE A LEGEND WHEN HE CAME ON.

VALENCIA, i have had my doubt over you,YO U A LEGEND:

    UNITED WE STAND

  249. redevil_83 says:

aweseome performances all around. knew we would square up teh rovers. c’mon you reds, glory awaits!

i can hear the bitters and their ‘fans’ crying all over the world haha. probably dippers too.

  250. fergie is the boss says:

this was a huge win, maybe the biggest win of the season. We look at the fixtures all the way up to the shitty game

    QPR OT
    wigan A
    villa OT
    everton OT

    Shittys fixtures
    arsenal A
    west brom H
    norwich A
    wolves A

it depends on how shitty do against arsenal. But united could really go clear, if shitty slip up and we win every game up to the shitty game we could be that close retaining the title

  251. Redlife says:

Red Nev is sooo trying to not look pleased as fuck. He’s trying so hard he looks consipated. Go GNev.

  252. ScholesForGoals says:

Fucking get in. Showing those city cunts how we fight. Even a nice wank wouldn’t top this feeling right now. Fergie still not content with Welbeck’s sloppy passing after going 1 then 2 nil up shows his determination to kill this off. Need to get rid of De Gea though :P

Haha cittttyyyyy it’s all coming tumbling down. You bunch of blue cunts!

  253. CedarsDevil says:

    MG

I am going fucking mad here, was stood up for the last 20 minutes………….

  254. Boston_mufc says:

Heart attack is right! ! What a difference to see the team go to task and get the job done compared to the in fighting at city!

  255. FletchTHEMAN says:

Massive is a highly overused word in English media.

    Valencia gets Barlays MOTM

Q: Was that a cross or a shot.
    TonyV: Fifty Fifty…..

  256. WeAreUnited says:

Interviewer: we know your english isn’t that good, but VALENCIA was it a shot or a cross?

    Valencia: 50/50 hahaha

  257. RedRich says:

Brilliant effort. Well played Rafael and de Gea. Both superb. Great goals Tony V and fabulous effort from Ash. Class performance. Fantastic support from the fans.

Once again. The best away fans in the country. cittee are cracking up. Still laughing.

  258. MG says:

Gary Neville has got a lovely hairstyle

  259. edcunited1878 says:

    Cheer-up Roberto Mancini,
    Oh, what can it mean,
    To a sad Italian bastard,
And a fucking shite football team.

  260. Ironbrand says:

If you believe in us, we won’t betray that trust. #TeamManchesterUnited!

  261. WeAreUnited says:

Interviewer: we know your english isn’t that good, but VALENCIA was it a shot or a cross?

    Valencia: 50/50 hahaha

    was at sky ahhaha

  262. ScholesForGoals says:

    Ha 50:50. What a gem!

  263. CedarsDevil says:

LMAO. Antonio “50-50″ Valencia. WHAT AN AWESOME MAN!!!

  265. FletchTHEMAN says:

    LoneStarRed Cheers mate. hahaha

  266. MG says:

    Cedars

I think I fucking flooded the house with this uncontrollable nervous sweat!

    Only United could do this!

  267. NotoriousRedDevil says:

Proud of Tony V that goal will put to rest demons from 2 years ago now let’s pummel QPR and hope the home support was as good as the lads did away tiday

  268. James21 says:

    MG
I sold my ticket to one of those Asian women on that advert. :D

I couldn’t go, got too much work on. :(

We hate Scousers and cockneys of course. AND LEEDS.

  269. Costas says:

I don’t need to wank over Valencia and anything he does. The guy is class. Simple. You can find a lot of MVPs for any season, but there’s no substitute for what Tony V has brought to the table since early December.

Likewise for Evans and Carrick (even though tonight wasn’t their best game).

    @Balaji, Notorious

Yeah lads. Young is crap. He’s only in his first season, but he will never come good for us.

Oh and Balaji spot on about the subs. Fergie’s management of the game was very good today. Lots of patience, but it never looked like we panicked. Very pleased with the performance.

  270. Balaji Sivaraman says:

Cedars, I am so sorry. But “was stood up for the last 20 minutes”. My dirty mind (thanks to Papii) cannot read that straight.

  271. MG says:

Gary is doing his Football Manager talk

    Fucking love it

  272. LoneStarRed says:

If you listen carefully that sound in the background is the screw tightening around Citteh’s NECK. And the choking sound is all the previous title winners Kompany referred to keeping their cool.

  273. ClaytonBlackmoresTan says:

    50/50 Tony V shot/cross

    100% Farking Superstar!

    GET FUCKING INNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

  274. CedarsDevil says:

I am in fucking coco land here

  275. MG says:

    James

    You didn’t miss much

    Oh wait you did

No sweat James – can’t fault your commitment to United mate ;)

But fancy giving your ticket away to one of those Asian Women on the advert

  276. MG says:

And yes get the fuck in Rio, with some people saying he was finished

    Fuck off

@RioFerdy5 @MG says fucking well done

  277. CedarsDevil says:

Did you hear Sir Alex post match? It was like having the stretty away from home

Fucking best supporters in the world

  278. redevil_83 says:

valencia best player of the season i quite agree

oh man i’d like to be in the reds dressing room right now

  279. Shebangsthedrums says:

Shitty can have their Italian hot head, who they’re desperately trying to compare with king Eric. We’ll keep the cool, calm, Ecuadorian. Love Valencia, great player and fantastic attitude.

  280. Collyhurst Red says:

I agree with Costa (I normally do) in that we were very patient but I have no fingernails left now.

    Excellent win, roll on Sundays.

    So happy right now :-)

  281. Costas says:

It’s nice to finally put the ghost of Ewood Park behind us. And we won’t have to deal with them again for a few years. Can’t say I’ll miss them. Especially that little twat Hanly, who saw fit to elbow paul Scholes.

Buzzing away support once again. They are always a joy to watch (and hear), especially at Ewwod Park.

And on a slightly different matter, if the last 2 Monday night games have proven anything, it’s that Javier and Danny are justifiably selected ahead of Berbatov…

  282. CedarsDevil says:

I am so fucking pumped up

  283. James21 says:

    MG
I did it for you my friend but don’t tell Dr G. :D

  284. LoneStarRed says:

    @ FletchTHEMAN Cheers. It’s all good !!

Now it’s time to sit back and watch the show from Eastlands. I am pretty sure more incredulous nonsense will now ensue.

  285. dijev says:

Roberto Mancini predicted this one would be a draw.

  286. Robbo says:

Yes Roberto in your head it was a draw, a moral point for Shitty.

DDG, Raphael, Evans brilliant. AV class. Great subs but I would really like a midfielder who can thread balls thru occaisionally.

  287. hqa says:

antonio valencia’s goal wasn’t a cross or a shot it was a missile launch

  288. Costas says:

    @Collyhurst Red

At least the players’ fingernails are always in good shape and that’s what’s making the difference in this title race.

Hey, at least our lads fight over free kicks on purpose. ;)

  289. mara says:

God, i love to see SAF jump from the bench when we scored…he is happy like we outplayed Barcelona in CL final….He is happy like little kid.
WHat player doesnt want to play under his mentoring?????? WHO????

  290. Norman-85 says:

23 pts ahead of Chavski, 34 ahead of the racists – wow! And we’re supposed to be an average team this last two seasons?

  291. Warwick says:

My mate kept asking me what that strange noise was – I had to tell him it was my squeaky bum!

  292. MG says:

    James

Shhhhh! Keep it a little secret between us don’t let anyone else see it

    Costas

That was a sending off offence the elbow smack on Scholes – in slow mo it was bad in real time it must have been worse…

SAF talking about having scored more goals it could come to goals scored

    Fucking mind games

Mike plus 6999 away supporters getting a lovely mention

    Get in United!

  301. Utd4life says:

Those celebrations are worth watching a million times over. Everyone went absolutely mental. I have never seen Valencia celebrate like that. Good on ya lad.

  302. mara says:

These players are born to win…and win…and win…championships!!!!

  303. The team that wouldn't die says:

Gary Neville can’t wait for the cameras to go away and then have A GREAT CHEER AND SOME PINTS AT THE PUB!

Fergie looked so happy. He gave City a bone though. Just for fun.

  304. Costas says:

Ok, here are a few tweets gathered from Eboue. Kudos to GHTT for locating them!

“Sorry Mr Mancini, Looks like Sir Fergie done it again.. Just clear you desk now because the Arabs are bringing Mourihno nxt year. SIMPLES!”

“why are Man city fans crying like babies because of my last tweet. Take it easy guys. You want me to post you some kebabs.?”

“You want some chilli sauce on it. Ketchup might be too messy for you babies.Blame it on me… Go on blame it me .. Man U win Blackburn.. Blame it on me”

“I dont want Man city to win because of money chasing Nasri.. Thats why .. so what you going to do to me.. You cant touch me. I am in Turkey”

“I dont want ManCity 2 win becuz they entertain players like Teves..That just not right. Its desperate. Money cant buy League. No principles”

    —————————————————————————————————————————

The guy dis better with his tweets than with his talent on the pitch. MG! He likes kebabs. :)

  305. lordrt says:

Frustrated until Valencia blew off the “locker”, then pure ecstasy as Young “looted” it for good :)
It was yet another match where we had to sit tight and wait for the right moment, and hats off to DDG for his super saves, his confidence is rising, and next season he’ll be better than this. Bring on the 8 points lead in the coming weekend…

  306. Clint-Iamyourpapii says:

Red Nev is TOP pundit and understand our joy today…he’s buzzing, you can see it in his eyes, he’s bottling up his excitement, he looks set to burst.

He must be well jealous of Scholes + Giggs. :(

  307. MG says:

A mention for Phil Neville too for brilliant commentating on the BBC

    Thanks Phil never forgotten

Looks like I don’t have to be changing my name after all.

  313. bobkoh says:

…and Mancini said we’ll draw with Blackburn.

  314. BombsOverEmptyhad says:

Good thing i was alone in my room celebrating Valencia’s goal….otherwise i think i could have hurt somebody the way i was flinging my body all over the place while in the state of trance after 81 minutes of nothing but frustration and burning hot desire to plant my foot into the pig face of that inbred scum grant hanley, especially after he elbowed Scholesy.

anyways, this is the reason i love this club. such a surge of happiness was only felt the first time a girl offered to go down on my knackwurst back in high school…

  315. MG says:

    Breaking News

    Mancini:

United will still draw at Blackburn no?

  316. MontanaRed says:

Quality win against a team that was content to grab the point. Tony V is sensational yet again. This man has been everything and more for United. His pace, ability and coolness cannot be matched. Everyone else can say what they want about the midfield, but United has the best wingers in England, period.

Evans and Carrick once again put in quality shifts. Johnny is looking more and more comfortable, as is DDG (who made 2 excellent saves and another pretty good one).

Good to see Giggsy get back on the horse after his rough outing against the Cottagers. He brought much needed creativity and danger from the left side.

Although they drive me crazy sometimes, I absolutely love watching this team. United have scored 31 of their 76 league goals from the 60th min on. (17 from 75′-90′). Let’s clinch No. 20 at the Emptyhad boys.

  317. MG says:

    Breaking News:

To be on the Bluemoon forum when Tony v scored? Ha ha. We are just one of those teams that you see now and then….

Thought our away support were immense. Sucked that shot from Valencia in. Fergie let them know what he felt about them. Well done boys. Big kudos to DDG. Made crucial saves at 0 0. Now for QPR! Gotta love United winning games like this. It’s our trademark under Fergie. Keep going to the final minutes. Two great strikes as well. 19/20? It’s closer now… ;)

  328. FletchTHEMAN says:

    Clint and MG….
Cheers lads. Loved the commentary from the gaz. Especially giving credit to the Rovers defense. You just knew were those comments about legs burning after 80 minutes were coming from.

Not sure if our boy Gary hasn’t found his second calling in life. Might actually be a bit better at it than he was as a player…..

Tell me truthfully, how many thought GNev would have been such a smash hit for the commentary? Sure you can say he would have gotten praise from United fans, but it is unbelievable how many quarters are singing his praise. Even had a Liverpool mate saying the same. I bought him a beer after that and consider it money well spent. Probably won’t happen again mind ;)

  341. Berbaclass says:

@Costas Like Valencia said of his goal (50/50), that’s my opinion on what you said about chico and welbeck being picked ahead of berba. While the two youngsters are way better finishers than the bulgarian and probably the future attacking couple (while we also know that berba is on the way out), i can’t help but ask whether anyone has noticed that the two youngsters are quite inefficient recently, compared to what they are capable of doing while berba on the other hand has made the most of the few starts he had and (as the commentator said) he scored 7 in his last 2 starts against blackburn. Enlighten me, please ;)

My comment was actually sarcactic mate. Like you, I’ve also noticed that their form has dropped in recent weeks. In my opinion, it doesn’t help that they are not challenged by a 4th striker anymore. Berbatov could and should have featured more often. Unless form isn’t the main criteria for selecting players…

  353. King Eric says:

  355. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@Berbaclass valid points I think it’s safe to say the manager is keeping faith with Hernandez Welbeck and Rooney. Owen will play this season before Berbatov. Time for all to move on. As fans we want loyalty from players and when someone shows it and the same courtesy isn’t shown by the club we shouldn’t expect less than mercenaries in the future.

  356. Costas says:

Kebab course? You’re heading in the wrong direction mate if you think MG and Costas can give you the real deal……….. Greek kebabs are fake pal, Lebanese/Turkish kebabs now that is what I am talking about ……..Don’t let them fool you buddy

  360. Berbaclass says:

@Costas Amen to that. What I don’t get is that Berba has been a true gent, very respectful towards club and fans, played a huge contribution last season while Rooney was planning his pension. But seems like you get axed for playing ‘lazily’ (while stats generally show he contributes much more than other ‘tireless’ players) and not scoring in the big games. FML describes Berbatov’s stay at United coz nothing could save him, not even the hat trick + overhead kick against liverpool, 3 hat tricks in a single season, 5 goals in a single game and winning the golden boot. Seriously, he’s one unlucky bastard!

  361. YesRed says:

  363. Berbaclass says:

@NotoriousRedDevil Sad but true. Being totally honest, I don’t always agree with SAF, but still… In Fergie we trust! To number 20!

  364. satinoz says:

37 – There were 37 passes in the move for Ashley Young’s goal tonight, the longest sequence of any PL goal this season.

  365. King Eric says:

Cedars. I thought Rafa was quality mate.

Fletch. Hello mate. I know what you mean about Gaz and he is a great commentator. However imo he should be at United on the defensive coaching side of things. Could tell he was buzzing tonight though. Odd team of year he picked. That toff cunt Hart has been conceding for fun this side of xmas. Walker? Coloccini over Evans. Come on Gaz lad.

Well for all the stick Rio gets he is still top drawer on his day.

Kudos to our fans for the full repotoire of songs. Yip yap stam, keanos fucking magic. The whole song book tonight. Great night.

We don’t panic. We just play our football and 99 times out of a 100 they come up with the goods. Fucking get in. May just pay bluemoon a quick visit. Now THAT will be a laugh.

  367. Costas says:

    @YesRed

We’ve settled on kebabs, lol. Another follower. :)

    @Berbaclass

Probably wrong timing as well. Could have been a different story if he was born a few years before he did and joined us in the 90s. My main hope now is that his forced absence won’t prove costly in any way. And once we’ve secured the title, hopefully he’ll play 1-2 games. I agree with Notorious about loyalty being a two way street. Can’t say I admire how we handled the matter in the last year.

  368. CedarsDevil says:

DDG MOTM for me, as those crucial saves in the first half kept us alive!! I think he will be worlds greatest goalie ever in the future.

Cheers lads, lets move our focus to QPR. We are close, but it is not done yet!

  371. Hans says:

I just heard that Mancini is complaining about groundsmen at Ewood Park. The byline was not painted correctly. It should have been curved a bit so the disallowed goal should have stood. PRICK!!!!

Anyway, much better performance than against Fulham and would have preferred an earlier goal, but it is all well that ends well. Best DeGea performance for us by far. No one can underestimate the importance of the saves that he made tonight. If Valencia cost us dearly at Ewood Park two years ago, he paid us back with interest tonight. Credit to Fergie as well for substitutions as the side he put out tonight was very unbalanced. I thought, Giggsy and then young turned the game around.

    We shall not be moved!!!!!!!!

  372. FletchTHEMAN says:

King Eric. Great win. Patience and Composure and still attacking to the last minute. Always had confidence in this one. But would have been different if not for an outstanding set of saves from DeGea and that crucial boot from Rio.

Think Nev had to tip Hart for keeper in the XI, I would have gone for Michel Vorm personally but that wouldn’t have been the fashionable thing. Thats in a non United XI mind ;P .

If you lads want some good entertainment check out RAWK and Blue Moon rising. Not if your are a softie mind. Not pretty really…. Bit like watching lemmings going over the cliff

  373. King Eric says:

As folk know I have always loved Berba and think he should be getting games but I am sure there will be a reason Fergie doesn’t fancy him. We have no idea what goes on behind closed doors.

  374. Red Neville says:

  383. NotoriousRedDevil says:

@King Eric Hello mate, I agree to an extent about closed doors theory but we can only go by what’s reported. From what’s been reported Berbas behaviour has been almost impeccable (being pedantic him staying in dressing room after not making the CL Final squad being the only blemish). Unlike tevez and to a lesser extent Ruud there really isn’t anything negative that’s been reported.

There may well be a valid reason but to me the club could have handled things better. Anyway all over this summer and Owen will be striker number 4 when he can be bothered to stay fit.

  384. MrKirie says:

Big smile on my face right now :)

Credit to blackburn for defending well obviously, but i thought our starting line-up and formation was a bit flawed. No width at all on the left against a really compact Rovers. Might have been the plan all along fron the marvel that is Sir Alex and his subs made a huge impact.

Another great game by our defenders. My Johnny Evans is brilliant these days. I thought with Jones and Smalling coming in, we had seen the last if him and truthfully I was rather pleased. I’m happy to say I was massively mistaken!

DDG… Wow! Gem! I’ve always rated him highly though and I was confident that when he got those errors out of his system, he’s be fantastic.

I don’t know why Jones was more attacking than Rooney in the first half. He’s a cm, not an attacking playmaker. Looked out of his depth for me whenever he got the ball close to the box. Rooney a bit off aswell. We have the best right winger in the league though, so we could afford it :) . What a goal!!!!!

Lastly, saw some bitters commenting about Webb being our 12th man today. Clutching at straws, if anything he helped Blackburn by not sending off that idiot who elbowed Scholes!

  385. LoneStarRed says:

@ Clint Credit to you for calling for Ashley Young. And double credit to you for being so modest….not.

  386. WillieRedNut says:

He’s taking the papiss. Like Cisse done against the vermin. ;)

I found out where Berba is? He’s locked in the basement with Doc Dre!!

  387. Man_1 says:

DDG was fantastic again, Valencia for me the man of the match. What’s wrong with Rooney? He was so poor yesterday and the game before yesterday. He can’t pass the ball to his mate. There were times when I used to think he is in Messi, Ronaldo class but I was completely wrong. Nobody is commenting on Rooney,s performance because we do love him but he has to really improve. And he is no a MIDFIELDER!!! C’mon United!
