    It’s not like we had any other options guys. Anderson and Jones are still out. The only difference between this and the other two times Carrick and Scholes started at Anfield, is that this time Park can help out as a 3rd CM.

    Quite frankly, I am anxious about Carrick playing. Don’t want him aggravating his hamstring issue.

    I don’t think we can blame the selection at all. It is just unfortunate that we’ve been hit with all these fucking injuries. I would venture to say that this is probably the best MF we can put out considering the situation. It speaks to our squad depth that even with such injuries we are able to put out a XI that can certainly do a job for us. Scholes will probably sit since he doesn’t have the legs anymore. Carrick and Park have to be on the best of their games for us to have any semblance of control in MF. The key will again be Valencia and if he can maintain his form from last week, then we have a shot.

    The main thing is that I am not too worried about the threat posed by Liverpool. If we can effectively shut out Gerrard which might be possible, then we can certainly squeeze through. Carroll starts and I am shit scared like Cedars pointed out.

    In all seriousness though, this is going to be one extremely tight game.

    SAF will have TheLads play it close/cagey for the first 65/70 minutes then bring on Dimmy and Chicharito (for Scholes and Welbeck [he will be pooped from running all-over-the-show] for the last quarter.

    Missing Rooney, Fletcher, Young, Vidic, Rio, Ando, Young, Cleverley…how many clubs could absorb that loss and still put out a decent team?

    DeGea go back to la liga… My patience is fucking short when it comes to players not fit enough to wear the United uniform. I didn’t have a problem when DeGea was sign up, but it was more than evident that he had potential.. Fergie didn’t make a legitimate contract for a replacement for the Dutch Giant.. sour fucking loss against the scousers!! I’m not plastic, I support Manchester United til I fucking die!
