  16. WeAreUnited says:

I think, nobody can anymore complain about todays game, whatever happens.

    WE WILL WIN.

But the line-up can’t go any better, Just Ando, Nani and Kagawa misses, but they are injured.

Yes Valencia is back and Clevs was taken off in that CL game to spare him. DDG on the goal., YESD

I AM SO HAPPY WITH THIS Line-up.

  17. rohan_19 says:

so safe to assume, cleverly had no knock and was pulled off for this fixture after giving him just enough time to be sharp in the braga game?

  18. Robbo2Keano says:

Happy to see both valencia and cleverley in the starting line up. I hope they were not rushed back for this game after all this game, however important, is still only worth 3 points. We can’t afford to lose either of them for the long term

  19. WeAreUnited says:

    Thisi s the moment guys.

    THIS IS THE MOMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  20. Marq says:

    Both sides going for it!

  21. dasilvatwins says:

    SO PUMPED UP! CMON UNITED.

  22. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

Valencia to start? FUCK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!! Good to see Tom Cleverley in there today as well. This is it boys. This is the big one for Tom. Has to show his stuff today. SO PUMPED. COME ON BOYSSSS!!! Let’s shock the ABUs again.

  23. Joner89 says:

Quality line up cleverley is gona rape Barry In midfield. 3-2 united c’mon u reds!

  24. georgejoseph says:

city line up arguably their best so come on united its time to show up and prove we can win this league

  25. Ash says:

Good line up. Have a good feeling we will win. Let us win. :)

  26. Red Robin says:

Wow !! No Scholes and Giggs in starting line up.

Feel good about this!! Come on you REDS!!!

  27. stret end ryda says:

    Wots the bench?

  28. Joffrey Baratheon says:

This is it reds. Time to stand and up and be counted. A performance is needed more than ever today. Glad to see Scholes and Giggs aren’t starting the game. United legends but like everyone else I think games like this past them by these days as time stands for no one.

  29. belfast red. says:

Totaly buzzin with that lineup! C,mon United!!

  30. Dela says:

Great line up, had been hoping on Valencia and there he is :-) Hopefully his hip is OK :-) Means I’ll be more than happy to see Scholes come on around 60-70 mins into the game. Totally surprised with Cleverley starting.. good surprise! Mind games mid-week Fergie???

COME ON FFS!! COME ON.. GET FUCKING IN!!

    ARRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

    ahem… excuse me ;-)

  31. AntiScouser says:

    A girl consumed by fire…

  32. Costas says:

Nice to see Tony and Tom miraculously heal in 2 days. ;)

Strongest line up possible given Ando and Vidic’s absences.

  33. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

This is also a big game for Ashley Young. He HAS to show up today or risk losing his starting spot forever when Kagawa and Nani come back. Hasn’t done too well so far this year. This is his chance to prove to me as well as everyone else that he truly belongs here. Wish him all the best.

  34. Goat Peticoat says:

    Not sure
looks like a defensive 4-4-2 to me. This means plenty of possession and no through ball. Pace down the wings but more than covered by them. I see this as a slightly weak approach by Sir Alex and a bit of a let down.
Valencia should have played right back, we need more height in there. I would not be surprised if City score one from a set piece with the head.
    I would have gone
    DeGea
    Valencia Smalling Evans Evra
    Carrick
    Young Cleverly Wellbeck
    Rooney
    Van Persie

For set piees they have the two centerbacks, Barry Toure Ballotelli.
When facing 5 tall agressive in the box players who are dictating the play (when the free kick is taken – all worked out on the training pitch) you must go with MORE with height.
We have Ferdinand, Evans, Carrick Rooney and RvP, Valencia at a push due to his center of gravity mainly. (hard to knock off the ball)
I would have increased that by a tougher more mobile defender in Smalling over Ferdinand and added Wellbeck to the fray.

This will be tighter than it needed to be. We should be exposing that Nastatstic and Zabaleta defensively. NOT giving them the options of lobbing balls up and having Balotelli time on the ball. He may be a cunt but he is the new Drogba (funny enough also a cunt)

  35. WR RVP says:

Let’s fu** shity zen 1-3 GGMU

  36. Costas says:

    @danny

I am sure Young will do his job. Just like he did at Chelsea and Reading. Personally, I can’t ask for anything more or anything out of his reach. Don’t know about Kagawa’s ability to play on the wing, but with Nani probably leaving, I think we’ll have to get used to seeing Young start. :)

  37. Imran says:

    streams anyone?

  38. RedAllTheWay says:

it’s a 4-3-3 i think, which will be a 4-5-1 when we don’t have the ball. rooney will play in the midfield 3 & push up to support RvP at every opportunity. saw him doing it earlier this season. VERY optimistic right now ! but don’t get me wrong, it WILL be a hard match ! want a winnothing less, but i guess a draw won’t be too bad considering injuries & last years horror show !

  39. mladenManutd says:

I love you all! Com ooooooooon United!

  40. Robbo2Keano says:

Not much to complain about, with this line up. i would of rather see Fletcher on the bench over giggs. lets face it, cleverley can pull up injured anytime and i would rather welcome fletcher into the game VS giggs

  41. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

@Costas. No doubt he will do his defensive job like he always has but I want to see a bit more in the attacking sense from him. As for when Kagawa and Nani come back I still want to believe that surely Fergie is not considering selling someone as good as Nani who on his day is our best winger. I really REALLY hope we sign Nani to a long term deal very soon or I will be disappointed.

  42. WeAreUnited says:

    CMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

    WE HAVE TO WIN

    S
    S
    S

    S

  43. Dela says:

Ashley Young is the type of player who might do not much for the game, but then will bury one in top corner in a flash of brilliance. Delighted he is in the line-up, and after he jhad such an impact last week in the first half against Reading, to be fair to him, he picked himself today!

  44. Dela says:

@Danny, we all want Nani to sign, but Nani doesn’t want to sign. He’s after a LOT of money, probably RvP-type wages and he’s doing so at a time when he has been poor when given a chance. I’d love to see him fullfill his potential with us, but if he doesn’t, then cash in and get a ready made replacement :-)

  45. Goat Peticoat says:

    Dela
“jhad” freudien slip there you fucking terrorist, ;)

  46. LUHG says:

Come on UTD, it’s gonna be hard, but we will always support you !!!!!

  47. WeAreUnited says:

We won them in the CUP so we can break this stupid spell they maded.

We did it for Arsenal will do it again today.

I HAVE SUCH A GOOD FEELING MATES.

    RVP will tear them apart.

  48. Only1Manchester says:

Can’t help but worry about our defense …I just our offence out score theirs!

  49. Goat Peticoat says:

    P.S
Im no fucking good at smileys and Im a schizoid anyways so if a wink when i mean laugh it doesnt mean i want to bum you, like i do.

  50. Costas says:

    @danny

Like we saw last week, his attacking game relies quite a bit on how many players he has around him to link up with. It’s essential to him since he’s more of a pass and move player instead of a dribbler. If our approach is ambitious enough, then he should do well I feel.

As for Nani, I couldn’t agree more.

  51. DEVILisRED says:

Come on United!! Come on!! Argh!!!!!

  52. Joner89 says:

First row sports, always have amazing streams, got mine plugged up to the TV lovely job come on u reds!

  53. WeAreUnited says:

    GUYS

    WE HAVE RVP today,

    he will kill them

  54. Dela says:

@Goat Peticoat –> HAHA, well spotted, after so many years my brain has created its own typo filter :-)

  55. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

If Robin gets service he WILL score. I’m not even bothered about that. Its the battle in other areas of the park that we have to win. Hopefully we produce our best performance by far this season today.

  56. parryheid says:

Pleased with that lineup icing on the cake would have been Kagawa.City in for a difficult game today.

  57. WeAreUnited says:

    @danny

    well put.

RVP will score, it’s how we will close Silva. I think it will be Rooney who will drop deep so we have a 5 line midfielders and RVP upfront.

    CMON UNITEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

  58. chicaole says:

Evans and rio need too be strong reckon they need to hold out for 20mins and we can get the 3 points

  59. KVN says:

United need to work together as a TEAM. Take a leaf out Everton, Dortmund and Ajax’s book. Rooney will be key to all of this as will RVP. We need to dominate midfield and play to our strengths. We can win this and increase our lead.

  60. MiguelEsqueda says:

Go United! greetings from Mexico, awesome blog.

  61. georgejoseph says:

city dominating……united on the back foot

  62. Walata says:

    Roooney!!!!

  63. Walata says:

Who said he doesn’t show up in big games?!!!

  64. WeAreUnited says:

  65. Joner89 says:

Scuffed into the lead! GET IN!!

  66. mig78 says:

wow..what a shot from rooney. doesn’t matter as long as it’s a goal

  67. georgejoseph says:

    Come on united

  68. Joner89 says:

Kompany injured! Toure must be cacking it!

  69. Mahesh says:

Hope Evans niggle is nothing big. However, Kompany going off, pretty good stuff – we’re now playing half of an Arsenal defense…That can’t be too bad! :o )

  70. Proverb says:

I see young as a decent player mind you

  71. Marq says:

And I thought Young & Rooney was suppose to be shit?

  72. Joner89 says:

Diving turd you’re should have been booked!

  73. Joner89 says:

    *Toure

  74. Walata says:

  80. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

ROOOOOOOOONNNEEEYYYYYYY!!!!! WHERE ARE ALL THE FUCKING DOUBTERS NOW!!! SHINJI THE MUG WHERE ARE YOU?

  81. Walata says:

We sure have missed Valencia….he was instrumental in setting that one up with his pass to Rafael

  82. andromeda says:

  84. Marq says:

    @Proverb

I quite remember you saying Young is one of the worst players signed

  85. Walata says:

    What a pass from Evans…

  86. andromeda says:

Those who were doubting Tony should bite their hands!!!!

  87. Joner89 says:

Fuck the trolls we are winning! They seem to have taken their foot off the gas, lets
    Fucking smash em 6-1 revenge!

  88. andromeda says:

    We must kill those fuckers!!!!!!!!!!!

  89. Walata says:

    ????Rafael got a haircut?

  90. wayne says:

Were’s the fucking trolls today no Ninja the cunt,Anti Scouser,Diablo,Ice Cube,Joffery fuckhead didn’t fucking think so the cunts. If Utd were losing everyone of those fuckers would be on here
Ninja the cunt giving it large about Rooney being shit were is the cunt now

  91. andromeda says:

We must hang up to good defending if we want to keep this result!!!

  92. McQueen says:

great game from young so far. keep it up lad!

  93. Proverb says:

Yeah marq, even scott has but oh boy wow he’s proving me wrong

  94. andromeda says:

    RVP should score!!!

  95. georgejoseph says:

    Cleverly playing really well

  96. andromeda says:

    One title……………….. Retaliation!!!

  97. mig78 says:

Aguero fuckin jerk trying to win penalty through out the first half. Stay on ur feet idiot.

  98. Mahesh says:

Great first half…well done all, every single one of the lads has raised his game…I would be tempted to get Chicha on for RvP later in the game if it retains this pattern…

  99. Joner89 says:

Fuck me couldn’t have hoped for a better first half, need to keep this tempo up and get another goal. Young is having a great game including his defending.

  100. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

I have to come out and hold my hands up here. I have been Young’s number one critic this season. but MY WORD. WHAT. A. SHIFT Young put in in that first half. Absolutely FANTASTIC wing play on BOTH WINGS. JUST SUPERB. Please more of the same in the second half and let’s get some more goals too cuz a two goal lead is always a dangerous one. COME ONNNN BOYSSSSS!!!!

  101. mig78 says:

Great 1st half. A classic 4-4-2 ManUtd team showed up tonite. Just need to keep the ball better in the 2nd half and 3 points in the bag.

  102. Walata says:

This is a weird feeling…not having anything to rant at at half time. This was the perfect opening 45 minutes for me

  103. WeAreUnited says:

    Yeah

don’t blame @Proverb because we all have been guilty on saying Young is playing bad, Valencia has also this season,

But when it matters, Valencia is now playing like a terminator and Young is proving he’s worth being a United quality. Hats off.

As for Rooney, I now forgive you 99% for wanting to go. 1 % will always hate you, but 99 is forgiven.

  104. Costas says:

Great job United. Don’t let up now. Remember how Chelsea pegged us back at 2-0 and equalized.

  105. redbilly says:

Well done reds, now keep the pressure up in the second hald, play your hearts out as this game is no way over yet.

    UNITED

Tony V, Fergie you sly old fox :-)

  106. andromeda says:

Fergie is master of mind games, yet again. He kept uttering that Valencia is out and Cleverly is doubtful.Maybe Mancini has been doing his tactic without making any account for the two:)

  107. dijev says:

I am already in high spirits!
Hopefully the second half will bring more of the same.

  108. Proverb says:

Great game, freaking dominating the first half hopefully we manage to dominate even more in the second half
    Rooney, oh boy wonderful strikes
Young man of the half deservedly so…

The opening 10minutes were tense they were coming at us, wave after wage but stood our ground and defended fairy well which comes as a good news after recent lapses at the back

    Get in you reds!!!!!!!

  109. georgejoseph says:

We played really well this half. Probably the best half we had all season.

  110. belfast red. says:

Hahaha. Rooney playing more forward is powerful to See. The few people on here that ran him dwn. Eat your words! 45 to go. City Look like they are panicking big time. Another 45 of that please! C,mön!

  111. Costas says:

Young isn’t playing a lot better or anything. He’s just less isolated out there.

  112. WeAreUnited says:

I wished that we don’t concede a late goal in the first half.

So now we have to be careful and not concede in the opening of the second half and the game is ours.

@costas yeah. we have to be careful, 2-0 lead is one of the hardest lead, but if we keep playing like this.

    No worries

  113. Hans says:

Best first half of the season. We need another goal to kill them off. We should keep it tight for firs 15 minutes of the second half and not do silly mistakes at the back. Every time we go forward, I feel we can score.

    Come on UNITED!!!!

  114. parryheid says:

Excellant playing it just as I hoped stifled them, countered and made our attack count. And dont forget Van Persie still has to get his goal yet.Great repeat the second half lads.

  115. Red Robin says:

In the match like this, when United is winning, we won’t see the likes of Shinji the Troll, Antiscouser, etc.

Another 45 minutes to hang on. COME ON YOU REDS!!

  116. DEVILisRED says:

Very Good composed first half performance. Great to see this level of maturity put in from the players. Win not in the bag yet though. Knowing our fragility at the back, a goal from city will change everything in the 2nd half. Keep it tight lads & inflict city their first defeat this season. Come on United!

  117. ronnie says:

is this too good to be true…..??? fuck me this is unbelievable my only fear is that twat tevez coming on he could cause us problems.de gea has been excellent so far commanding his box we need to score the next goal cant believe people criticize rooney.cmon reds!!!

  118. FletchTHEMAN says:

That was Rooney’s 149 and 150th career EPL goals

That was Sir Alex’s 1580th EPL goal.

If Rooney gets the hat trick, it will be the first in a Derby since Andrei Kanchelskis in November 1994 at OT.

  119. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

PLEASE boys KILL THEM OFF. do NOT let them get back into this game. please no repeat of Chelsea. We must KILL this game off as soon as possible. I believe in you. Also let’s get Robin a bit more service. He’ll convert at least one. BUZZING!!!!

  120. dijev says:

I predicted a 3-1 win for our lads.

  121. Robbo2Keano says:

Typical united in the first 20 minutes, I think it was arsenal we use to do that to. Soak up some pressure and make our first chance count! After the goal we seem to come into our own. the game isn’t over yet but i like where we are at the moment

  122. WeAreUnited says:

I also feel there’s a RVP goal in the coming

    CMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON

  123. AntiScouser says:

About fucking time our lads showed up for a game. And not just any game. Confidence wise, we need this win badly, after last season’s failings.

Ashley Young has bettered his half-decent performance against Reading. He seems more confident and I’d rate this first half his best half in the United shirt (including last season’s opening fixtures).

Still, the game is far from over. We need to stay on our toes, resist the onslaught and hopefully put another one or two in their net. Then we can start discussing championship form.

  124. Nigerian Red says:

Nice performance, it seems the players still remember the 6-1 loss from last season and want payback.
Lets put 5 past them in the 2nd half and send a clear message to the rest of the EPL that we are Utd, we do what we want!!!

  125. Dela says:

great first half, clinical, handling city very very well. mancini will make some kind of change at half time, probably try to get yaya toure more involved in the final third, there’s 45 minutes to go, it’s not over by a long shot, but so far we’re looking up for it. I hope Rooney bangs in a third, I’ve been singing his praises for weeks here and defending him from attacks from users you could all name… I love it when he shuts people up.

City do score a lot in the second half and they have been riding on luck, so this will be difficult guys, but on the balance of that first half performance I’m very pleased!

  126. andromeda says:

Mancini who?!!Fergie has smashed Wenger in the past, Rafael, Mourinho….Mancini should have been reading some history

  127. lawman10 says:

I feel like there’s more to come.
we’ll played Rooney he’s having good game so far, I tip my hat to him.
let humiliate the bastards ,but would settle for 3 points.

  128. Mikael says:

It’ll be a tough second half… Mancini is going to rip them apart during half-time and they’ll be out for blood when they come out. We must keep playing our game and get the ball out wide. Throw in Hernandez at around 70-75 min to keep their back four busy maybe for RvP (not because he’s playing bad, just tactical) and last 10 min we could use Jones legs in midfield.

    GET STUCK IN LADS!!!

  129. Nesh says:

a real shift from the lad young

  130. Walata says:

    Not good…Rio & Evans struggling

  131. andromeda says:

    I am sorry for Evans!!!!!!!!!!!!:(

  132. belfast red. says:

Kettle neck cuming on! Hope rio breaks the cunt!

  133. andromeda says:

Crazy Balloteli out:) ……that money lover Tevez in:)

  134. Proverb says:

We can’t afford to change the formation, let’s play by their tactics
If they come fucking at us, let’s contain them and attack through breaks of pace

  135. andromeda says:

We are gradually losing concentration, more defending needed on the left side!!

  136. Walata says:

Ffs….we should have cleared that ball sooner

  137. James7t7 says:

    Can SKY sub G Neville

  138. WeAreUnited says:

    it was not a OFFSIDE

  139. Mahesh says:

Insult, to injury! Lets see what these lads are really made of now!

  140. cruserer says:

    THAT WASNT FUCKIN OFFSIDE !!!

  141. andromeda says:

No panic!!!!we should be careful defending.

  142. jay says:

Wtf should be 3 0 right back was playin young onside

  143. WeAreUnited says:

    NOT OFFSIDE

    THIS commentators are so biased

happy when city scores, and moans when United

  149. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

  150. georgejoseph says:

Winning now will take real hearts and guts…Come on you lads, this is what the league is all about!

  154. andromeda says:

Let us all support our team please no more negativity!!!!!

  155. Mahesh says:

I would get Chicharito on at some point…he’ll be lethal on the break…Smalling doing very well indeed!

  156. andromeda says:

    This game needs Chicarito!!!!!!!!!!!

  157. andromeda says:

Young is becoming silent now!!!should we go with Welbeck?he has pace.

  158. georgejoseph says:

If united dont win it will not be because of there play but poor officials

  159. Mahesh says:

I know Valencia doesn’t like the left foot, but seriously, cross the ball when you have it!

  160. Walata says:

    RVP shoulda score

  161. Mahesh says:

Fuck me, Atkinson on great form!

  162. Mahesh says:

  194. Proverb says:

Yessssss final whistle 3-2? Nice van persie with a huge winner what a game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man city surely doesn’t deserve to be singled out in the same sentence where I’m praising our wonderful performance they a such a dirty scumbags fucking moron throwing objects in the field one of it hitting rio ferdy they surely deserve a banning
    Watch the mercenaries fight now

  195. WeAreUnited says:

    it should have been 3-0

but we got what we deserved and we know our DNA is to make games exiting and historical

  196. Dela says:

    FUCKING JUSTICE!

Going into injury time I thought those cunts had rode their luck again with the goal being disallowed and the peno not given, but RvP you really are challenging for one of Fergie’s best EVER acquisitions. What a star!

Serious respect for Fergie, he got it right, he didn’t sub him or Rooney off for Chico, he made the right decision with Jones IMO even tho the lad was unfortunate for their goal, and with welbeck he just wanted to bring on injury that could be useful filling in for Tom… Chicho probably couldn’t provide that. That’s Anfield, Stamford Bridge and the Etihad we have won at now… good fucking job boys!

  197. redbilly says:

says it all. rio cut, city fans kicking off as its their god given right to win at home. should have had four, not three goals.

  198. dijev says:

  202. thomas777 says:

sore losers!! we got thrashed 6-1 , we wont threw coins at other players. What a scum-style showing from the Blues.

  203. Neil says:

Fantastic result! I think we broke them today. With all of the negativity in their squad and their selfish players I don’t think they have it in them to respond positively from this. I think we win the league at the trot. We just have to get healthy and stay that way

  204. redbilly says:

To be fair, great game to watch.

  205. mig78 says:

Fuck the ref for not giving a penalty
Fuck Tevez for not getting a red card
Fuck Ballotelli for being a clown
Fuck the city fans for being scums

    UNITED UNITED UNITED!!!!!

  207. Hans says:

Justice was done at the end. Hail Robin the King.

For all the qualities of EPL, ref and linesmen are shit. They nearly cost us again.

With third goal wrongly ruled out and possibly another one form the penalty that was not given, the revenge would have been full.

Currently, the scar-face is the biggest cunt in Manchester.

  208. JC says:

Wheres that SHNIJI cunt?? Rooney never scores in important games? fuck off you cunt.

  209. Adi says:

Sky Sports just said that the unsavory moments have continued after the game. Can someone elaborate on that? What are those Shitty scum up to?

  210. WeAreUnited says:

    JC, probably in ‘Sushi”s disguise.

  213. redbilly says:

thomas777- true re fans but I know a fair few old school city fans and they would not resort to that. Lack of class, unlike RVP who is nothing but class, even in his post match interview.

Hope this result has a bigger impact on City than our OT loss to them last term. Congratulations , made me and many feel so happy.

  214. Hans says:

Can someone get an ambulance on stand by for Jamie Redknapp?
He may suffer a heart attack. He looks extremely distressed that we won!

  215. Dicko says:

Robin van Persie: I am not worthy to lick the mucky turf off your boots my big Dutch friend!

Tony V – cross the ball first fucking time man! Guarantee we’ll score more if you do…

How do you like that then you lazer-blue chavs!?

  216. Mr C says:

If ever you doubted it, RVP’s goal proves beyond doubt that the Lord Almighty is a Red….

Pulling a six pointer off against City in the last minute of injury time is gonna implode their season and boost ours. If we are not complacent we can kick on and win this title.

Step forward those who questioned us playing a weakened side in a dead rubber earlier this week…

  217. Costas says:

No card on Balotelli for the tackle that took Evans out of the game.
    Young’s clear goal disallowed.
    Evra denied a penalty.
No red for Tevez’s kick at the end.

We get all the decisions all right. But unlike the other moaners, at least we overcome referee bias on top of everything else.

Great job lads and Fergie. Did everyone proud.

  218. Dromole says:

    I AM FUCKING HAPPYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!

  219. Proverb says:

  228. Dela says:

@Dicko –> Tony was clearly not 100% today, but he did make a difference for sure on that right wing, we’ll have to wait until his hip is back 100% before we start to see his sublime crossing again. I imagine it would be quite pailful swinging a leg with a fucked up hip :-)

I am so fucking delighted with that result!!! I’ve seen City get away with too much lately, as Fergie was saying a couple of days ago, they were getting penalties galore, and on top of that they have been hanging on and getting the liuons share of luck.

We didn’t need luck today, we needed nothing! Smashing finish for Wayne’s first goal… mesmerized joe hart…. well worked second goal from him and rafa too. Then RvP, what a free kick, made the right decision. Man of confidence… FUCK DA CROSS… I’MA PUT IT IN DA NET.. OK WAZZA?? :D

    3 shots on target, 3 goals… awesome!

  229. dee says:

ok so where are all the suckers that wanted us to play for a draw.i so knew we were gonna win.i thought ferdinand was massive for us today.was good to see valencia back .young finally had a decent game.DDG pulled off a magnificent double save but was unlucky 4 d toure goal.seems like our defence went missing as tevez was being marked by four of our players.all in all well done rooney and rvp.massive massive win and cleverley should try to take his goal scoring oppurtunities more often instead of blazing over .

  231. WeAreUnited says:

    It’s funny

cause I think, after the ref gave 4 minutes added time, Shitty fans thought, they will win this.

But they forgot that we are comeback kings, we never say die, and we are last minute heroes.

    hahahaha

  232. AntiScouser says:

De Gea was immense prior to their first goal.

  233. Fibes says:

So proud of all our players, all our fans. The beauty of this club is fucking astounding. What a win.

  234. Costas says:

I’ve said it since the start of the season. Rooney should allow RVP to take free kicks. ;)

    @xol

On Young hey? Could be right.

  235. Walata says:

So we won…despite coming into the game with a lot of questions surrounding Rooney, injuries to Clev & Valencia, and off the back of a turgid performance in mid-week. I like the win but I preferred the performance. I could not have asked more from everyone…Evans played majestically, Evra was up for it, Tony V & Young killed the full backs in the 1st half and everyone chased every ball. If we play like this against anyone, yes-anyone, we will win.

  238. georgejoseph says:

Best performance by far this season. Our shape looked good today.

  239. WeAreUnited says:

    but guys,

you could see that some of our arguments here are true.

Cleverley played in the middle, Shitty didn’t dominate that much.

Rooney played almost upfront as a striker andd voila 2 goals.

Our wingers on form, tadaaa great game.

And defending was awesome, but it’s hard with a team like city to defend but we did it. Outscored them again

  240. xol says:

@Costas that and the knee up Evra’s backside.

  241. RusholmeToCalabria says:

So glad we pulled this one back, those twats have had this coming for ages.
Wish I’d been back home in Manchester to see it. Blue tears are so much better in real life.
I know they put two past us, but we made them look like the Europa league wannabes they are at times. Shoulda been three nil. Anyone who says we can’t win the CL this season should realize that we’ve taken nine points from nine at Anfield, Stamford Bridge and now Wastelands, and were still just warming up.
    United til I die

  242. WeAreUnited says:

I was so happy that it was 92.20 minute to score thw winning goal.

Because before scoring that goal, the camera showed the 93.20 of last seasons whn city won,

and then we scored hahahah can’t get better

  243. samuel - united WE stand says:

Costas – RVP’s left foot is technically refined. It’s made to hit sweet strikes and i had a feeling he would ram the ball home. A big game match winner.

  244. Joffrey Baratheon says:

Fucking get in! Well deserved victory. City didn’t deserve to pull it back to 2-2 as we were given as good as we got in the second half. Can’t fault anyone at all today. The team delivered most when it counted. The City fans were disgraceful through out. The amount of objects I saw through the whole game being thrown onto the pitch was embarrassing. There is cameras everywhere now. Anyone caught throwing anything should be receiving life time bans the stupid cunts!

  245. Pratyush says:

    SHINJI THE FUCKING TROLL:

Rooney world class enough for you now bitch?

  246. WeAreUnited says:

yeah this trolling people are out.

this was by far rooneys best game in a while.

wow what a turnaround, he is our talisman. he has been quiet but sill managed to assist and score, and now he does this 2 goals when it matter.

  247. Costas says:

    @xol

Ah yeah mate. Forgot about it.Oh well. It feels better knowing we beat City and Atkinson at the same game!

    @Samuel

And Piers Morgan was starting to feel good about RVP not doing much during the game. He became suicidal again when we got the 3rd goal. :D

  250. Random says:

I guess officially all the shit about Rooney, ambition and all that is OVER.

Everything is forgiven today. I loved how when we got the goal Rooney ran towards the away fans first and foremost.

I love Wayne Fucking Rooney !!

  251. samuel - united WE stand says:

This victory shouldn’t be taken for granted. City have the best home record in europe for a season and it looked an uneviable task trying to beat them on their own patch but if one team has the desire and ability to break that record then it’s unite. Last season, we put in a limp erformance in games against them but fergie got it tactically spot on today with the stratergy of counter attacking. Valencia’s recovery was key and it gave united that added width to break forward. Rooney was at his best, orchestrating the attack and showing no sign of his fantastic killer touch in front of goal withering. My man of the match is de gea though, far better and posseses more potential than lindegaard. Hopefully fergie stops the tinkering, de gea is the man.

  252. parryheid says:

How bad would the defeat have been had we not been done out of the 3-0 scoreline.Still I enjoyed that.

  253. orez says:

Great win and we needed it. Good to see that he forwards did their job well. Loosing the two goal mtrjin sucked, but even a draw would have been a good result in this.

  255. Dandivine7 says:

Those first two goals were more like “the Real United” – fast flowing footie with a positive result.

Overall, that was a terrific game of fitba (blood hell !) and winning at the Wastelands makes it very, very, very sweet.

FIRST, six points ahead with a superior goal-difference. YEAH !

I grined and gave him the mid! Justice 2day. But theres stil alng way 2 go. This will kick start our season! Il be there 4 the home game and hope we do them again! What a fuckin result people!

  272. NBI Red Onion says:

    Brilliant!

The only negative, though it can also be seen as a positive, is we conceded from a defensive error and some nice skill.

Jones did not mark man on the D for second goal which Valencia had been doing. I have to give it to Tevez, surrounded by 4 player he did well to coolley play the ball through 4 players into Toure’s feet, though Toure should have been marked more closely by Carrick or someone as they had time to get into position.

Big plus for me, it made me feel better about Cleverly, I had been struggling to see him really own a place but today he did well. Nice and tidy but awful shot, skied it twice. I think Ando could also have done well.

The other plus, the movement and positioning for Rooney’s goals, Rafael is now world class let me say it, RVP is hopefully finally going to get the recognition he deserves as a world class player almost in the league of Ronaldo and Messi. DDG – great ! Looking like an all round goalie nowdays, the boy has a lot of new chest muscles. Young worked his socks off.

RIO – was star man for me. Saved us at the back, bled for the cause. Evra some great defensive work and great in attack.

All round very happy, the team worked hard, we are still conceding too much, but we played a very good teams and under that type of pace and pressure it;s tough.

Cheap City bastards only threw 2 p at Rio.

  273. NBI Red Onion says:

Where ARE all those people who were slagging the team off in the extreme after the last CL match, calling them crap etc, and the manager. Show your faces bitches.

  274. dMuzikManUnited says:

Why we’ll win the league? ‘Cos RVP wants it. Simples!

  275. LoneStarRed says:

What a match! We did it!!!

Good goal disallowed, legitimate penalty not given, Zabaleta, Tevez, Toure and Balotelli should have been carded.Yaya Toure diving. We stayed in and believed!

Cleverly played ok imo. His defending MUST improve. He was tracking Tevez but stopped running with him at the edge of the box and the ball was then played to Tevez. Overall he had a good game but defensively he is going through the motions.

  276. LoneStarRed says:

That resulted in their first goal.

  277. Gentlekez says:

If there is any team on unbeaten run tell them we are coming cos that is what we like doing(ending it)

  278. Adamcy says:

The lads really gave it there all from the wings to defence everybody was top notch, that is all we need this season to see through this historic 20th league, really proud to be a united fan cuz no matter what they never give up.
