    Fcuk the scousers…….

    Lets do the business lads!

  2. NYDUDE says:

    Giggs-12
    Stevieme- fuck all!!!!!

  3. fergie is the boss says:

the backline worrys me, suarez may get in behind that defense, as vidic still rusty, and rio who has been very safe, but there is a lack of pace in the defense which could be a weakness. But in midfield and attack, its perfect, a combination of hardwork, and fluency which I like. carrick and cleverly holding, but the front 4 all can change positions, will be interesting how kagwa can handle this game

  4. TK99 says:

    No Scholes,Ronney or Nani…

  5. NYDUDE says:

Johnny on the spot should at least be on the bench over Smalling and jones- must have a niggle

  6. Parry says:

Surprised to see Vidic in the starting 11, but obviously Fregie thinks he’s ready. And no Hernandez either! Strange one. But anyway, come on united! Do the scouse pricks!

  7. Pratyush says:

    Good lineup

  8. va7encia says:

would have preffered to have seen valencia over kagawa simply to track and get at johnson with his pace, welbeck is a surprise but hes born and bred manc so he knows what this game means, and grat to see ando back

  9. Pratyush says:

FITB, Kagawa handled the match at Analfield decently, I think. Good chest down for Rafael.

  10. parryheid says:

    Not happy with that.

  11. Proverb says:

Wow this is going to be damn huge
Hopefully we thrash them bin dippers.
Me self in vacation taking my time to comment
on this freaking unbelievably huge encounter.
    Good
    Day to all ROM users!!!

  12. Rd5454 says:

    I hope this is 4231 not 442

  13. Costas says:

So much for us finally getting a full squad…

Evans will be missed today. I fancied him with his pace over Vidic against an opponent like Suarez. Other than that, no matter how bad his form has been, I would have rather seen Valencia on the wing than Welbeck.

  14. M S B says:

    United 3 liverpool 0

  15. WeAreUnited says:

What did I say to you, Danny Welbeck will play as a right winger !!! or mayeb as a left, but I did say to you that DannyTheLad has been awesome when playing from the right

    CMON UNITED!

PS. No Chicharito is a surprise for me, but maybe later on :)

  16. Proverb says:

Great line up, hopefully we manage to click and send them bin dippers much further to the bottom of the log

  17. Rednemz says:

    Can’t wait for the game

  18. Rednemz says:

I guess Kag and We’ll will be intechanging positions together with Young. I guessed the back four right.
Happy to see Carrick getting the plaudits he deserves

  19. WeAreUnited says:

    obviously a 451 reveresed to 442

  20. duke says:

it is the red devils day…we beat them bad

  21. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

\This is one of the few games where i don’t care how we get the win. JUST WIN!!!! COME ON BOYS!!!!! MAKE A STATEMENT!!!!

  22. Joffrey Baratheon says:

I’ve got a bad feeling about this game. Strange game for Welbeck to get the nod over Hernandez when Hernandez has been in such good form. Maybe Fergie’s thinking is because Hernandez has scored twice against Liverpool after coming off the bench.

  23. fergie is the boss says:

Costas – I would not have started with vidic, as his lack of pace is a problem, evans should have started ahead of vidic, liverpool do not use set pieces 2 their advantage, its the use of pace from suarez to destroy defenses, if it was evans ahead of vidic, we have the perfect side for 2day. This is going to be a very dangerous game, some say we could go 10 pts clear, my mind is the thought of being 4 or 5 pts clear

  24. 90+UntilWeScore says:

I think this is a good call to play Danny. It’s the derby after all. Love chico, but Danny to own today’s game

  25. Costas says:

    @FITB

If Evans was available, I wouldn’t have started him either. Just like before the Etihad game, Jonny went injured at the worst possible time. Now with him missing, it was a question of Vidic or Smalling. I think he made the right decision. Vidic’s experience gives him the nod. It will also depend on how much time Liverpool and Suarez get on the ball. Hopefully not too much.

  26. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

WOW I just noticed Evans is not in the line-up. very slow pairing. We better not be caught in a footrace with Suarez. What happened to Jonny? Also surprised to see Welbeck starting ahead of natural wingers like Valencia. Anyhoo. As long as we win this line-up won’t matter to me.

  27. Andromeda says:

I heard that Evans sustained a hamstring injury earlier, best of the luck for the lad.but obviously this squad is good enough to get us a good result.

  28. tyii says:

    whre is chicharito?

  29. Marq says:

Actually there was some news about Evans playing on with some minor injury some time ago, so perhaps it finally told?

Yes I know form goes out of the window for such games, but if you are worried about Downing, Sterling & Suarez, you’d be having nightmares against Ozil, Di Maria & Ronaldo.

I dont care how we win, just win it

  30. Red Robin says:

    link please?

  31. Little Red Ant says:

is this the diamond to fit Kagawa again ? Chico over Danny for me but Im not SAF – is Evans injured?

  32. Walata says:

    RVP!!!!!!!!

  33. Walata says:

That has to be the best link up play I have seen this season resulting to a goal….

  34. Andromeda says:

    I love you Robin.

  35. knightsmith says:

    Van the man !

Now go for it lads, don’t take your foot off the pedal, please hammer the bastards !

  36. Andromeda says:

Carrick is a beast in this game so far.

  37. al bash says:

What does Chico has to do to start a game. Stop tagging the boy a ‘super sub’ he’s simply awesome whether he starts or comes on from the bench. Can’t believe Welbeck starts ahead of him

  38. Andromeda says:

    Unbelievable miss.come on Danny

  39. mutusamy says:

We had a few chances to open up the lead but been wasteful really.

  40. Andromeda says:

Tom Cleverly, a bit of Scholes and Beckham

  41. JohnnyMUFC says:

Welbeck has good dribbling skills but he has a selfish head. A lot of times his better option is to make the pass, instead of taking the shot. If he was to become a better team player, it would be better for the team.

  42. Andromeda says:

Being so wasteful but I really love Danny’s passion, he is running after everything.he is our leopard.

  43. aberbacadabra says:

    epic

  44. santaClaus says:

very good first half performance by us , superb overall. Could have scored a couple more . but hopefully we will make them pay in the second half

  45. Redial says:

If the 2nd half continues the way of the 1st, methinks Danny will get on the scoresheet today.

  46. Diego says:

As shit as they are, just one silly mistake could get them back into the game… I really don’t get why Welbeck is being played as a striker? Sadly all our chances after the goal has fell to him and he is fucking wasteful. If you want his hard work then put him on the wing. We should be at least 2-0 up.

  47. cristianophan says:

that touch from Kagawa just before the goal to bring the ball down was fucking classss !!

  48. matt says:

Quite happy with that performance, the boys are working hard and Carrick has been fucken excellent.

  49. Smaker says:

Welbeck really need to improve his finishing and decission making, so selfish. So far we have better options like valencia or hernandez. Hopes he fits in theUnited level

  50. santaClaus says:

For all of welbecks overall play if he can get his finishing boots on , then he is a great asset to the team

  51. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

Welbeck has been good so far. He is working the hardest on the pitch, fighting for every ball. Making Reina’s life a living nightmare but SURELY he could have converted at least one of the countless chances he had in that first half. This should be at least 2-0 by now. Hopefully we convert these chances in the second half. Always good to put Liverpool away early. Carrick has been brilliant too. So has Ashley Young and Rafael.

  52. evisu says:

Dominating, long time ago i’ve seen Man Utd dominate Liverpool so much. Did they even had a shot on goal or even outside? But we should’ve scored atleast 2 more goals. Wellbeck runs great and work hard, but he cant fucking score for his life. I really hope he scores one, he needs it! Rvp godly as usual, but he should’ve fucking hit it instead of that backheel flick. Carrick fucking owns the midfield today!

  53. Costas says:

A hard working performance. We haven’t been to clinical and Liverpool have offered nothing. Not the best of matches. Hopefully United will put it to bed before Liveprool decide to have a go.

Hope Young is ok. I was really worried when I saw how his leg bent.

  54. CoppelRED says:

Wellbeck’s pace is giving them all sorts of problems…

  55. Andromeda says:

Could have been 3-0.except for the last 10minutes we were dominating the pitch, and I have to say spot on Fergie.

  56. Proverb says:

Great play that, we could of scored a couple more goal had it was not for the lack of composure by the lads, specifically danny the boy… But wow you gotta admire his energy and passion it just comes naturally you don’t always get that on this day and age from many money grabbing scumbags

  57. al bash says:

Chica could have buried these chances. Welbeck’s wayward. He simply isn’t a good finisher. Hate it when people trying to big him up citing ‘work rate’ to hell with work rate

  58. GC says:

Fucking Howard Webb! If Reina was soooo fucking injured, why didn’t the scouse scum kick the ball out of play when they were in posession so he could get looked at? Why wait until we were OBVIOUSLY (and dangerously might I add) going for the counter?

  59. Dela says:

Lost the plot with Howard Webb at the end there. Perfectly OK for Liverpool to continue their attack while Reina is shouting for help on the ground… soon as they lose possession and a serious break is on… blows the whistle. Now I would have felt bad….. just a little…. had united been able to continue to go test an apparently injured keeper… but what the fuck was Howard Webb thinking letting Liverpool play on and then suddenly becoming concerned when their attack faltered? Fuck sake!

Overall though, good performance from the lads, we could be 3-4 up if the chances had been put away but keep it up boys! Danny was a little wasteful but can’t doubt his passion today, he’s chasing everything down, i have a feeling he might score today :-)

  60. Costas says:

Welbeck’s had a good game. Don’t know how better he would have done with his chances, but he’s causing them plenty of problems. Nice to see.

    @Danny

Me and you will probably never agree on Young, lol. I didn’t think he had a good game. Attacking wise anyway. Helped nout in defence a lot, but he’s known for that.

  61. evisu says:

We should’ve had a pen, kagawa got pushed and would’ve scored.

  62. Sushi says:

Just like a scouser to take out his own goal keeper. Fully body shoved Kagawa….

  63. Rd5454 says:

I think Danny are ok but for long term he must change to be a defensive midfielder just like the fxxking viera I’m sure Danny will better than that cunt sorry for Danny lover I just want him stay at the team

  64. TraffordLord says:

Obviously just half time… But the lads are really working their socks off. Carrick has been magnificent pulling the strings. Fast, crisp passing is very easy on the eye and this also suits Welbeck as he is good on the ball…still needs more work on composure and balance in the final third, same as Ashley. However strong half by all. Fergie should be pleased.

  65. untilthefinalwhistle says:

We should be at least 2-0 up. Kagawa would have scored if it weren’t for typically scouser cheating. Should have been a pen and a red card for Wisdom – be what can we reallt expect from a World Cup final referee?!!!

  66. Proverb says:

Yeah that was obviously a clear pen but webb decided not to give it and still many plastics label him as united 12th player
    Shit for brains trust me

  67. Curtis says:

Danny would have scored the van persie back heel I tell you!
Now I know why he ain’t scored in so long.. nobody’s created a back heel chance for him
Lol he only scores back heels remember

  68. GC says:

Carrick and Cleverley have been inmense! Carrick especially has show how to help out defensively without being an all action player. Great reading of the game. Cleverley has been spraying passes around all first half long, and like I’ve said before, his link up play with Kagawa is very promising for the future, but quite a reality for the now as well!

  69. Unitedyankee says:

RVP could have had another. Danny and Kagawa were close as well. Thought Kagawa was fouled going for the rebound and could have got a penalty but that’s ok. Suarez’ best moment was falling down and winning a kick. As others have stated one mistake could ruin all the hard work so would like to se more of the same with the last touch going in. This is better than being behind. I think we have not lost when going in front first this year and only tie was fa cup game in same position

  70. mutusamy says:

Welback good game but please stop pulling the trigger just pass every ball to RVP pls.

  71. Unitedyankee says:

Patty said suck on that Suarez!!!!!!

  72. Sushi says:

Fucking right evraaaaaaa or vidic lol

  73. TraffordLord says:

Buttner thank you so much lad…thank you!!

  74. knightsmith says:

Get in there, now please don’t ease off!

  75. GC says:

Fuuuuck me!! Why in the fuck did Rafael just stand there at the edge of the box!? He needs to get stuck into those balls to clear them away more! Flashbacks of Athletic Bilbao on that shit goal for Rafa. Now let’s get at them! Let’s get another one in!

  76. TraffordLord says:

The first time Carrick gets dispossessed they score…lazy defending, nothing new this season. Sturiddge first to react.

  77. Mr C says:

We are so much more the better side but more ruthlessness needed…Liverpool should have been dead and buried already.

  78. RMJ says:

Commentator blaming de gea but that was all rafael

  79. tc says:

Anyone notice sturridge do the 5 salute? Two matches for them and he’s already butter as fuck

  80. Unitedyankee says:

Sturbridge has played for City,Chelsea, and nowLiverpool. How can’t he be bitter against United. He’s been doing the scumbag trifecta his whole life.

  81. RedLion says:

    Its Pea time!!

  82. MICHEAL SC0FI€LD says:

    C’mon u Redzzz

  83. Mick says:

Fuck me we’re doin everything we can to let em back in!

  84. TraffordLord says:

Hopefully Valencia can get into this game.

  85. Andromeda says:

    True Evra is here.

  86. Norman-85 says:

Welbeck is like Bambi on ice

  87. wazza!!!! says:

Welbeck u son of a bitch!!!

  88. TraffordLord says:

Oh please stop overstating it @Norman-85

  89. TraffordLord says:

Oh please stop overstating it @Norman-85

  90. CoppelRED says:

Get hold of the fucking ball and keep it for fuck’s sake

  91. TraffordLord says:

Wow Webb is having quite the public breakup with us…lol

  92. Mick says:

    This is fuckin painful.

  93. santaClaus says:

why did we stop playing in the second half

  94. knightsmith says:

That flattered the scouse bastards, it will be all over the net about “lucky united”, but fuck ‘em!

  95. RedHarry4Life says:

Typical Howard fucking Webb why no Penalty in the 1st half. nailed on and he is supposed to favoyr United. Like fuck!

  96. Andromeda says:

Great great win, hope vida, Young are Ok.

  97. Marq says:

Like I said, I don’t care how we win

    Job done

  98. CoppelRED says:

    Thank God it’s over.,3 points!

  99. RedHarry4Life says:

Why no 2nd yellow for Johnson?

  100. TraffordLord says:

Nervy at the end, but the result was never really in question…gulf of class between the teams and RVP certainly better than Suarez. The first time in a long time I thought the technical staff got the subs right. Well done by all.

  101. RedHarry4Life says:

Why was there no foul on Carrick by Gerrard leading to their goal?

  102. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

PHEW that second half was nervy. Rafael needs to be awake at ALL TIMES. whenever De Gea punches a ball out like that you should be running TOWARDS the ball not waiting for it to come to you FFS. I don’t care how well Liverpool played after Sturridge came on, we are still a FAR FAR FAR better team than they are. We bossed it when we chose to boss it and it was when we let them off the hook that they got back in it. TEN POINTS CLEAR!!! COME ON THE ARSENAL!!!!! :)

  103. RedHarry4Life says:

Because Webb favours United. Like fuck!

  104. Marq says:

Now would it be too much to ask for Arsenal to do a job?

  105. Ghred says:

Congratulations to the lads and all fans. But i believe fergie made some dreadful changes that invited unneccessary pressure.

  106. montanared says:

double over the dippers, 10points clear of the bitters, life is sweet!!!! However nervy second half still room for improvement. great to see clevs, carrick, Jones, Kags, welbz all doing the job in the midfield. Anderson on the bench as well. since all threads apparently must have some negativity I have to say what has happened to AV7—M.I.A. all year.
Now lets thrash the hammers on wednesday.

  107. RedHarry4Life says:

But I do not care I love beating that scum! any which way does not matter. F*** them. Come on the Arse

  108. knightsmith says:

Man City fans were glad that Utd hung on to their lead and stopped Liverpool from gaining any points in their battle for second place.

  109. santaClaus says:

overall a good performance by us , defended well, the gave a goal due to bit of lack of concentration by rafael but apart from that they didnt really trouble de Gea.
Carrick was immense so was clev.. no need to mention about RvP , he could have second one as well. kagawa did well on the left nice little interplays
Welbeck i felt played really well worked his ass off through the game with defense and attack. If only he could be a bit more clinical he can be a fantastic striker for us.

  110. TraffordLord says:

By the way the media will be fixated on De Gea punching the ball away because they have papers to sell and transfer rumors to fuel. Hey give the snakes a break would ya… It’s just in their nature.

  111. TheRadLegion says:

How could it be De Gea’s fault I don’t understand. With that defending, De Gea could punch the ball toward the line and Sturridge would have scored anyway.

  112. WeAreUnited says:

Howard Webb is officially on my hate-list

United great fight, I think we palyed week when we scored that second goal. I think after we substituted Ashey Young we were a bit weakened, the lad played very well today, Let’s hope he’s ok. So crazy for me wishing for him to play, cause he’s been our main winger this season.

    Overall great game from us.

DannyTheLad played really well, just that the lad HAS to SCORE. another chance to do it another 0 on the account. But that being said great game from him.

My only wonder is why he did get the nod from Chicharito.

    3 points, 10 points lead.

  113. Andromeda says:

Liverpool was far the better team in the second half, but too little too late.Evra was the man of the match in my opinion.

  114. Dela says:

This will probably annoy his haters, but we badly missed ashley when he went off at half time. Ever since he got the knock he fell below par but if theres one thing he can do well its get the ball up the field in seconds.

Was annoyed with the defence and goalkeeper for the second goal, there’s no way gerrard should have been allowed to get the ball THEN take the shot, THEN there’s no way De Gea should be pushing it out (put it round the post!!) and THEN no way Rafael should have allowed Sturridge to just waltz right fucking passed him. That goal gave Liverpool a bit of a boost and we reacted negatively to it, but hey, we held on and on the balance of play, we’re far superior. Had we taken our chances in the first half we’d have been well out of sight.

Fucking delighted, gonna sit back and watch the Shitty game now.

  115. santaClaus says:

that was a good save by de gea in first place. It was hit hard and low , not easy to catch those .. rafael should have been the first to reactt

If united were a bit more clinical in the first half it would have been done and dusted

  116. Diego says:

Nani please return now. Ashley Young will return somewhere around April right?

  117. Diego says:

How, laughable, ridiculous and embarrassing was this:

    http://i.imgur.com/PBYwk.png

  118. Diego says:

unless he is counting fantasy football points for this GW of course…

  119. Proverb says:

Evra getting better and better, two assists… Oh wait!!! One goal and an assist on my papers no matter what the gurus says
But I will put it that way all day every day

  120. TheRadLegion says:

    @Dela:
Ashley is coming out good in recent weeks. But the reason of the poor second half performance wasn’t because he was taken off. We couldn’t control the ball at all. Plus they allowed so much space for us in the first half and we couldn’t regain composure when they started to put a pressure on the second half.

  121. Costas says:

Dela is spot on about Young’s absence. Add to that Carrick tiring after the hour mark and Liverpool nearly stole a point out of a game we should have seen out. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, Liverpool’s goal was really infuriating, with De Gea and Rafa repeating the same mistakes we’ve seen in the past from them. Don’t know why we keep making it so hard for ourselves.

Glad for the 3 points obviously. Hopefully we will have some positive news on Vidic, Evans, and Young. The latter two certainly figure into the manager’s plans for that Real game.

  122. Sonneveld says:

Diego is that a reference to LFC’s 5 CL titles? If so that is absolutely insane.

  123. TheRadLegion says:

    @WeAreUnited:
The reason why he get a nod ahead of Hernandez was exactly like you said.. he played well. He was composed throughout the game, setting up chances for other players and himself. Listen about those chances he wasted, I’m not trying to compare him with Hernandez but when Hernandez was wasteful, he was wasteful. It could happen to anyone. But as you said, I’m very pleased with Welbeck today.

  124. Diego says:

    Yup, it is…

  125. Marq says:

I memtioned before, Young’s defensive attributes has given Evra more freedom to roam forward and it is the small but so called insignificant things that he has been doing very well. But some people will never be happy until Young can score with every shot he takes.

Thank goodness Nani is close to a return. Lets see how things go on from here. Woth Valencia out of sorts, this is Nani’s chance to stake a claim and earn his pay rise request

  126. slim says:

Always good when losepool leave OT empty handed.
That said , it wasn’t pleasant seeing us lose composure from about the hour mark.
Letting Gerrard get his shot off and DDG parrying it onto cuntridge’s path was equally disappointing.
We need to keep up the tempo in games. We looked worried once pool made changes.
All boils down to another MF standing up to be counted. Carrick can’t do it on his own.

Thought Rafa was solid and Danny as well. 3 points and West ham in midweek.
    Onward and upward lads

  127. WeAreUnited says:

    @TheRadLegion

I think you couldn’t answered it better than that haha.
Yeah I think that was the reason :) he really played well. Actually his first half was one of his best I have seen from him. Shame he didn’t score, but he killed himself by running.

I would have still put Chicha infront, but then 3 points, so SAF didn’t do anything wrong with the selection.

    @Marq

Ashley Young was immense today, he’s improving in every game. WOW. when he was subbed I think we didn’t have any wide-threat on the game.
Glad seeing Nani back also, cause if Young is injured and Valencia with his FORM, then Nani is superwelcomed!!

10 points ahead, aaaah what a feeling.

  128. TheRadLegion says:

    @Marq:
Don’t get me wrong, I don’t hate Young. I think he’s coming better every game. But Evra always roams around regardless if it was Nani or Young.

And to be honest with you I disagree with a couple of people saying the reason of the poor performance in the last 30 mins or so because the removal of Young. I think it was because of two things.. they tightened the midfield area and less room to operate and the second one if the introduction of Sterling, as much as I dislike him but he was quite effective tonight. He and Suarez pushed back our midfield and we couldn’t regain composure.

  129. WeAreUnited says:

    @Dela

Like I said in my last post, I missed him too, Ashley Young was and is a candidate for MOTM for me.

He’s just at the moment a very good player and has started bringing hi “AstonVilla” days for us.

I hope he’s not badly injured,

  130. Ash says:

All liverpool have left is their 5 times champion in europe. If we also win 5 times then all this hand showing will be over. This should motivate the boys to do well in the Champions League.

  131. TheRadLegion says:

    @WeAreUnited:
Young was very effective, he was struggling in the first 5 minutes but after our midfield dictated the game, he was very unpredictable in a good way. His movement, touches and passes were spot on.

  132. ziggy says:

“Danny the lad”,one of the most overrated players in the league,he missed two or three chances to score and he constantly falls,Ferguson sacrificed Macheda to give him a space on the team and now we may lose Hernandez in the summer who will end up getting tired of warming the bench, you’ll see.

  133. samuel - united WE stand says:

With the things i’m reading on here, you would think united were ever going to dominate the entire game. Pool always play like it’s a cup final, although it took them a while to get going. Ifs and Buts, yak and yak, 3 points is what matters.

  134. fergie is the boss says:

I thought we missed young today, his dribbling ability to win fee kicks and link up our play was missed. Valencia was poor second half, but united should have had a fist half penalty, and sketil should have been sent off, but oh well, another win crucial, consider we have to go to white hat lane next week

  135. Ash says:

Only 122 comments. I can bet if we had lost there would have been 250 comments atleast. HYPOCRITES

    What a bloody Idiot.

  137. Ash says:

I can only say this to you, Glad you are not Manager of Manchester united. But I know what you are FUCKING JOKE

  138. WeAreUnited says:

    @ReadLagion

yeah exaclty. But for me he was close to our MOTM for the time he played.

Btw Howard Webb was ridiculous today. Firstly a penaalty either for Rafael or Kagawa.

Secondly the Reina incident. Why he did call that off? when we attacked. Someone said it here that it was a public break-up with us haha. I think he made a fool of himself and we will continue what we do.
This season everything is going against us, but at the same time we are winnign those obstacles, which are: referees and comebacks.

    @ziggy

    I think you’re joking?

Chicharito will never go. He will become a legend here. Secondly DannyTheLad is not overrated, he just needs to sort his goalscoring ability. Ronaldo did it and look at him now. If you don’t see talent in this lad, then you’re delusional.

He needs to take his chances though!!! that’s why I think it’s unfair from SAF not to play Chicharito, when he’s scored 11 goals in his last 13 WOW.

Anyway 3 points, sos stop complaining

  139. Andromeda says:

Kagawa was fantastic today methinks, he combined well with Evra and Cleverly down the left, he has lost a lot of energy deep in the second half unfortunately.that was the reason why Fergie substitute him for Jones.overall he did very well.

Carrick was a beast in the first half, lost a bit of his concentration in the second period, easily given few important balls away.of course not blaming the lad, he has to cover on both Cleverly and Kagawa, nevertheless his mastery as a middle man and his interceptions were just superb.irreplaceable!!

Young has done very well on the right side, combined well with Rafael and he created a lot of troubles for Johnson unitl he came off”hope is Ok”

Cleverly was everywhere, his intricate passing capacity and his audacious spirit led him to surpass the Sterling_Gerrard combo, ou to be too much rhetorical he has the vision of Scholes.his quick decisions to pass the ball is amazing, sometimes he looks like Iniesta.expect bright future.

Welbz was the annoying mosqueto for Reina today.didn’t give him a chance to rest all the evening.I agree with some of you that he was wasteful a number of occasions but his overall contribution was spectacular!he tried his best to create more chances for Robin.BTW I don’t agree with those who claim that Danny is selfish.the lad is just passionate and he l8r lover to eat the grass of Oldtraford.

RVP, a great finisher and artist.too great touches could give him the chance to score a hatrick.our hero tip season.

Rafael, amazing character.defending with all is heart, great attacking ability.should have done better to follow De Gea’s block.anyway the situation was unexpected as Gerrard’s shot should have been avoided in the first place.

    Evra, as I said MOTM.

  140. Ash says:

Imagine if welbeck just improves his finishing, we will have one hell of a player. I just love him. Terrific Talent. Wait till he reaches 25 we will have our Own theiry henry (Yeah I said that)

  144. Costas says:

Shame Young came off injured. It left Welbeck as the main menu for the scapegoat brigade. The lad had a fine game. Jeez.

    @Ash

Yeah. Koscielny I believe. City missed their penalty.

  145. murt73 says:

    @WeAreUnited
have to agre on hernandez should have got nod over Danny, He’s proven more clinical than anyone in the premiership this season on mins played and is also working well with RVP, also his allround game has improved, arguably Danny may still offer more outfield but thats outweighed by whan Hernandez can get you in terms of goals. And if we had been denied the three points I would have looked at this area, With a good chance going you nearly expect Danny to miss it now where as you’d be surprised if Chicharito missed it.
I wouldn;t be too hard on DeGea as Gerrard really stretched him with that shot, however Rafael has to be more aware and has happened more than once now.
Anyways 3 points and that’s the main thing.. very happy overall!

  146. Costas says:

And now City ahead. Must win at the Lane for us.

  147. samuel - united WE stand says:

I had a feeling welbeck would start today, fergie values his all round talent and he played a part in this hard fought win. His ability to drift past players with a turbo booster pace, his energy to press up the pitch stopped the likes of agger and skrtel having a jolly good time to tip tap around, gerrard never had the rest and space to find bucktooth up front. Only thing missing in welbeck’s superb performance was a goal and he will sort it. He has bags of talent.

  148. fergie is the boss says:

PPL say we should stop complaining, I think its right to pick up these incidences, as officials have been poor, Howard Webb shrugs off his united tag and still livepool lost

  149. Ash says:

    Lucky shitty

  150. ziggy says:

I’m sorry if I pushed some buttons here, this is my opinion and I understand that for the local fans, a player from the city must be almost untouchable but I still think that Welbeck doesn’t have the skills to be world class as Ronaldo or Rooney ,we will see who is right over time.

And allow me to insist, even if Hernandez is in love with our team,he is a player with ambitions and if he gets an offer to play more minutes in a top team, I’m sure he will go…good night.

  151. WeAreUnited says:

    @Costas

My friend, how are you, Actually I see it differently, I think today we saw Danny’s ability, just that now people expect him to score. OF course we have 3points on the bag and we should be happy that we have always someone else scoring.

for example I gave my opinion about Chicha starting, cause I think 11 goals in 13 games and many of goals have been when he has started, proves that he should start.

Do I complain that we won? no. DO I complain about Danny’s ability? no. I think nobody is.
It’s just strange when you have a man scoring goals for fun, to put on the bench.

    @murt73 put it the best
“have to agre on hernandez should have got nod over Danny, He’s proven more clinical than anyone in the premiership this season on mins played and is also working well with RVP, also his allround game has improved, arguably Danny may still offer more outfield but thats outweighed by whan Hernandez can get you in terms of goals.”

but then @samuel put good reasons for Danny to start.

it’s a matter of opinions for me, If I was the manager, I would have put Chicharito to start with his 11 goals in 13 games.

It’s only a matter of opinions, cause at the end WE WON, and we are using every player, that’s the point :) but I see it unfair. :) nothign more, but this is only my excuse, maybe someone else really does think he’s no good, which is CRAZY. he’s a natural talent with a bright future with us. he needs to get his “ronaldo”-mode on -> scoring.

  152. Andromeda says:

I believe that if we keep winning important games like this we don’t need to observe what is happening on the other side of Manchester, however we should not forget our complacency last season.

  153. mara says:

I think we played very very well. 1st half they they were in their half of playground. We could win with more goals… but we were out of luck. Cant blame Van Persie, he was great. He gave his best but couldnt give more. We can be happy about our performance. In second half Liverpool was good, but you cant dominate all 90 minutes.

  154. Andromeda says:

Can’t believe that Arsenal has lost the ground too early!!

  155. Sushi says:

Fucking ref ruined te game arsenal fucked now. Total bull shit.
I don’t know about u lot but I actually feel sorry for arsenal their a disgrace from the team they uses to be. Fucking pathetic wtf

  156. samuel - united WE stand says:

It’s a tactical decision to play welbeck, a role better suited to him than the mexican. I don’t know how anyone can blame him “IF” (hypothetical bollocks) united didn’t pick up a win, last time i checked, football is a team game. I think people over-analyse danny, nit picking everything when clearly and fergie has mentioned this several times, he’s still not the finished article and needs to file out the rough edges, we’ve banged on about this several times, it’s become tedious

  157. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

have to smash spurs next week. Rooney and Nani and Anderson are all back by then so hopefully we can make this happen.

  158. WeAreUnited says:

    @samuel

I also agree on this you said -> I don’t know how anyone can blame him “IF” (hypothetical bollocks) united didn’t pick up a win, last time i checked, football is a team game.

YOU NEVER, I repeat NEVER can tell what would have happened if he didn’t play or we lost.

And I know about tactical decisions my friend, but when you can put RVP as a SS and Chicha as a CF, that’s a great tactical decision also. you have two guys with the goaltally’s of 20 and 12. Which is HUGE.
But I get it why Welbeck played and I think he played really really well. he lacked the goal, but it will come.

But if doesn’t then it’s unfair in my opinion, to let Chicha be a sub. This has nothign to do with bashing a player, and I am only speaking on my behalf, don’t know what others think when they say things about him.

  159. Costas says:

Actually local lads usually get critisized worse than the others do. I am not from England, but I thought he looked good out there. He hasn’t scored as often as he did last year but his role has changed. He’s not the focal point of the attacks anymore.

    @WeAreUnited

I am good thanks. Hope you’re well. I can see the arguement about him not scoring often, but like Samuel said, Welbeck’s overall game was crucial to today’s game, hence why Fergie started him. He’s not in competition with Hernandez imo. Hernandez wasn’t dropped or anything. He was just saved in case we needed a goal from the bench and Welbeck was picked to press them from the off. Worked pretty well I thought. At some point Danny will start scoring more often. But given then roles he’s occupied this season, I am not surprised he’s only scored once.

  160. WeAreUnited says:

I only hope that this season all our strikers break the goaltally of 10 or even 15.

RVP has done it, Chicha has also, and Rooney is close. It’s Danny’s time.

Imagine to have 4 strikers scoring for fun. :)

    @danny

yeah, rooney and and Nani back is going to give us a huge boost.

  161. fergie is the boss says:

starting welbeck was of 2 reasons

1 welbeck was there to be the pressure cooker, and be part of a fluent system, so kagwa and welbeck could both tag when to go inside, and when to go to the left

2 hernandez the boss obviously wanted to give him a breather, with rooney still not fit, the boss wants to preserve hernandez.

It worked out well, the real question is? how liverpool were in the game, when they were so lucky. Like kagwa should have got a pen, the defender should have been sent off for pushing kagwa, skirtal should have been sent off, johnsen should have seen red,.

  162. WeAreUnited says:

    @Costas

yeah I understand, maybe I am too attached on the question of, why Chicha who is playing so well and has improved his allaround game and scores for fun is on the bench :D

nothing else, and I will always wonder this until Welbeck scores or assistes in every 84 minute :)

that being said, Welbeck is a great talent who needs to get his “Ronaldo”- mode on -> SCORING.

  163. WeAreUnited says:

    @FITB

you answered my question and I understand it’s tactical, but you can’t say Chicharito doesn’t run his head off, or doesn’t put pressure on, so in that way he’s equal.

Just that he’s scoring goals for fun and which team doesn’t want that`?

Anyway, great game from the strikers and 3 points for us.

  164. Andromeda says:

    @Samuel- united we stand
well said mate.welbz inclusion today was totally for tactical reason and he did brilliantly.it seems that there are many naive fans preoccupied with their credulous opinion.Danny is a player want to play for the team and not for himself, despite being a striker he selflessly run all over the pitch tackling every ball as if he is playing his last football match.if people doesn’t understand this sort of love and passion then you have a trouble understanding football.

  165. WeAreUnited says:

    Sturridge is selfish.

Welbeck is a teamplayer wit ha capital T.

  166. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

As for Welbeck he was very good today. Fine he didn’t convert on some of his chances but still he was the hardest worker out there. Did not give Liverpool one single moment’s rest. We won the game. PERIOD.

    1. The only button you’ve pushed is chocolate ones you stuff down your neck. 2. Who said welbeck is untouchable? He’s played second fiddle this season, had his place taken by a more experienced international world class striker despite starting regularly last season, he’s accepted an unfamiliar role and got in with it, hasn’t sulked, about it and puts,in 100%, again showing your idiocy, he’s far from untouchable, fergie is too ruthless for the crap you’ve made up.

    3. Oh hello mystic megan, why don’t you tell us how many nipples the queen has as clearly you know the future and if a player will become worldclass or not? danny may or may not reach those heights, who knows but he has the ability, why can’t he aim for that?

    4. No one knows what’s on hernandez’s mind, he may just be another OLE but he knows competition at this club is high, the top players thrives from it.

Tut tut, mystic megan. I think the sleep you’re off to get is what you need.

Howard Webb was playing very safe today. Everyone found out that he was favouring Liverpool today. But even after that we are seeing stuffs like Vidic ‘s goal was offside. JOKE

  169. fergie is the boss says:

like I said, hernandez was given a breather, and give welbeck a game, it also helps he is a local player. Hernandez does run around, but he is best used has the vocal point, when the boss was not looking for that today. He wanted everyone switching positions, and welbeck added the legs to pressure the midfield

  170. Ash says:

City have got a big life line today yet no one will point out that City beat a 10 man arsenal. Even arsenal fans won’t complain about this. I can bet if this had happened against us arsenal fans and media would have been going mad. I have not seen the red card but its surprising to award a red card in early mins of the game.

Don’t worry arsenal will play like a Final when we go to emirates in late April.

  171. WeAreUnited says:

    @FITB

yeah you’re rightm Welbeck did offer everything today.

But I would have still put Chicha on :D joking and a bit serious.

anyway, it’s great to have 4 great strikers with different gamestyles, you’ll never know what we will do next.

    peace.

  172. fergie is the boss says:

no we have 3 great strikers, and a good one in welbeck

Ash – it is arsenals own fault, he should never have pulled on dzeko, and the way the goals were conceded was of a team given up. Shitty are relieved the way the game turned out

  173. mutusamy says:

Just seems to me that we score more from set pieces these days after Rvp and Rooney taken over from the wingers as corner or free kick taker. Our wingers are not performing as well as they should be, maybe a proven winger will be a good addition to the team since there’s only 3 and 1 maybe on his way out.

  174. slayer says:

Another win for United. Congratz to the players. But it is worrying seeing how the team perform at the second half and Liverpool look a bit more deadly. Not sure what Sturridge impacts brings to Liverpool but it seems to be something like what RVP brought to United. Nevertheless, united need to keep pushing forward. 16 games to go.

  177. James7t7 says:

Good win.. I think the 2-1 flattered Liverpool.. Should have been out of sight by half time. Great atmosphere in stadium!!!

For those patting Welbeck on the back for his man of the match display, things would have been very different had Liverpool got an undeserved point.

He is there as a striker and quite frankly his blowing of opportunities gets too much.

  178. samuel - united WE stand says:

Thought rafael was outsanding again. Development from him is going well, always supported the brazilian and i’m glad fergie’s perseverance and long term vision is paying off. Rafael has racked up loads of first team games, he’s had ups and downs but He’s a stronger player for it. Battler, terrier, competitive. Rafael can mix the rough and tumble with guile and flair. He’s far more powerful, he had a lapse today but his concentration is improving, he reads and intercepts danger, he knows when to tackle or hold off an attacker. He patrols that right flank like a tiger chasing prey, bombing up and down with energy. Superb young player, on a gradual upward curve to hopefully being world class but i’m holding back, i want to see him keep up the good work.

I saw his brother fabio against spurs and again shows why i think he’s the main candidate to replace evra, this twins will carry the fullback flanks for united hopefully.

You lying cunt and i back up any united player against idiots like you that have no constructive thing to say, your criticism has no balance as to how a player can improve. If you call it an obsession, to i would gladly accept that. I recognise quality and talent, something you clearly struggle with, you struggle to conjure up anything sensible despite the well known fact welbeck is not the complete player yet, i baffled. As for asking for who mystic megan is, either review your comments and see your predictions or take off the dress you roam around in the middle of the night with, either way, you’ll find an answer. I think i’m done with this subject.

  182. fergie is the boss says:

Why can’t some fans realize, he wanted to give Hernandez a rest, rotation has not been a huge part of the team this year, the Liverpool game with rooney out, was a great chance to start with welbeck. If things were not going well, the boss wanted the option to see Hernandez make the impact off the bench. and half of his goals have been that exact reason, Hernandez cannot complain, he has started plenty of games, and he realizes, this is all part of the benefit of the team. Different opponents, different type of team to be fielded.

  183. ziggy says:

i’m Obsessive yet you continue to reply after ringing your bed time little bell. What’s wrong? Didn’t get your tumble belly tickled?. I’m merely exposing your bullshit, fergie and most have highlighted how superb danny played today which is what the subject was mainly about yet you waffle on about irrelevant rubbish about who gets chances. Welbeck is a step or two ahead of the players you’ve mentioned, neither of them have been discarded yet hence why bebe has been sent on loan to kick on, they may well carve a career at this club if they step up, something danny has proved. Welbeck has a part of his game to improve on but he’s working hard and showing quality. If you want to carry this on, i will gladly take on the challenge of exposing your idiocy mystic meg.

  185. slim says:

    Samuel

Spot on fella. May not alwayd agree with you but you’re bang on about Danny.
Fuck knows where this myth of Hernandez being our savior is coming from.
Danny is better suited against some opposition as is Chico. In isolation, I’m more impressed with Danny. Not to say Hernandez hasn’t impressed, just that Danny has that little extra.
Check out his run down the right in the 2nd half. Superb.
Said this before and I’ll say it again. RVP wasn’t as good as Danny when he was 22.
Someone said we will have our very own Thierry Henry and I concur. He’s got it all- well not exactly all, finishing needs some work, but his touch, pace and speed of thought is amazing. This is a case of stats not telling the whole picture. Hernandez scores more yet it seems Danny gets more game time. He brings a shit load to the table end of. How many offside call against us today? Exactly.
Am I chuffed he’s a manc? You can bet your left testicle I am. Damn proud is what I am
    Onward and upward Danny.

  186. theo says:

Yeah! let’s give Danny another 5 or 6 years to improve and sell Hernandez so he can go and score goals for another team, that’s the spirit!

  189. Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson says:

    Oops. Meant @ slim

  190. g-man says:

  191. WeAreUnited says:

    @Arthur, maybe @slim meant this

I put this stat earlier, but I found an other even deeper one. Which breaks the myth of Chicha being only a supersub and contributing more from there. Not saying he’s not good coming from the subs, but he’s better when he starts.

    CHICHARITO @ MANCHESTER UNITED

    2010-2011: 45/20 ~ start: 27, goals 12 ~ sub: 18, goals: 8 ~ scored in 17 games = 37.7%

    2011-2012: 36/12 ~ start: 22, goals: 10 ~ sub: 14, goals: 2 ~ scored in 10 games = 27.7%

    2012-2013: 21/12 ~ start:12, goals: 8 ~ sub: 9, goals: 4 ~ scored in 9 games = 42.8% Overall:

    Total:

    starts: 61, goals: 30, scored in 23 games = 37.7%

    sub: 41, goals: 14, scored in 13 games = 31.7%

    102 games, 44 goals, scored in 36 games = 35.2%

    11 assists ~

    2010-2011: 4,
    2011-2012: 3,
    2012-2013: 4.

  192. Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson says:

    @WeAreUnited

Good stuff there. I expect Chico to start on Wednesday–probably alongside Rooney. Should be interesting. After all, they formed a pretty effective partnership in the 2010-2011 season.

I expect Robin to get a rest this time out, with perhaps a cameo towards the last twenty minutes or so if we need him.

  193. WeAreUnited says:

    Exaclty.

Yeah probably they will start, Rooney Chicha, I bet Welbeck will also be included and Nani also.
Ando in the middle with Fletch? Kagawa?

Anyway. it’s outrageous to say Chicha is a myth, CRAZY, because the lad at the age of 22 scored for us 20 goals and it was also his debut-season.

I don’t get it why, for example I speak on my behalf and I hope I don’t have to repeat this ever again. Welbeck is one for the future, that’s for sure, and he’s an outsanding player, one of my favourites actually.
@slim wasn’t wrong when he said he could be our Thierry Henry cause he’s right on that! 99%.
The thing is, he needs to deliver more, I mean look at Chichos stats at the age of 22 and now at the age of 24. He is a goalscorer and they are remembered. And Chicharito has also worked his allaround game.
I am not saying Welbeck will not become one. Don’t be sensitive. He WILL! but Chicha is delivering right at the moment, when everyone thought he’d be out. Welbeck needs to get his “Ronaldo”-mode on! nothign more, I will then praise him more. Until then, he gets my votes as one of the birghtest future-starts, but until he starts to deliver, I will keep it quiet :)

Anyway, there’s no reason to compare of course, that’s one thing I did wrong, but to make Chicha as a myth is ridiculous, as ridiculous as loving liverpool.

Either way, our future is granted with , Chicharito, Welbeck, WillKeane and Henriquez.
Two have already established themselves, n0w its their time!!!

+ we have Rooney and RVP. beautiful
