United could sign Messi and Ronaldo, and get Rooney and Van Persie fit and they still wouldn’t finish in the top three. Chelsea dismantled them like they would any other mid-table side at Stamford Bridge last weekend. By the end I was starting to pity Clueless Moyes, a man so far out his depth it’s become rather frightening. Of most concern to United’s owners must be the six-year contract they foolishly gave Moyes. The biggest players will look at United, see they no longer offer Champions League football and join Manchester City instead.

Oh my on my. And people think Mata will save our season. That’s what, £70mn spent by Moyes on 2 players we don’t really need. Where the fuck is Mata going to play? Jose is not stupid, he is now in pole for Rooney and Mata can take points of rivals. But I actually don’t think Mata is going to make much difference.

I watched every agonizing minute of the game yesterday. It only hurts when I breathe now. A relegation threatened side outplayed us , out fouled us, and in the unkindest cut of all, beat us in a penalty shoot out. Those are the facts.

I have several questions for Moyes. Why was Kagawa taken off????? WHY WHY WHY???? How many chances did he create for Chica? Other than Adnan who else created?

I am FULLY prepared to back this manager but that does NOT mean I must be silent when I see the same tactical blunders over and over. Now we look to be getting Juan Mata. Well new tools are great but if you are clueless on how to properly employ them they will collect just as much dust as the old ones.
