    where the fuck s valencia?

  2. Indian Devil says:

    0-2 victory for united. Carrick and RVP the scorers.

  3. AlphaRS says:

    Comment section is back…! :D

  4. Costas says:

    Not much of rotating, but a game like this requires we play our best possible line up. Can’t afford to drop points again in this fixture.

    Happy New Year everyone.

  5. jay says:

    Was hoping kagawa started with rvp.

  6. WeAreUnited says:

    Valencia is a surprise, but then his form has been terrible.

    Maybe he’s better from the bench.

    Very good call from SAF.

    Great line-up.

    RAFAEL IS BAAAAAAACK,

    PS. We gotta get Kagawa in the line-up as much as possible, so that he gets used in the system.

    3-1 for us.

  7. Frodo says:

    Good to see Fergie has made a point by starting Carrick n Clevz in mid week in week out
    They are the no 1 partnership in our rank now

  8. GHred says:

    @nicky: on the bench
    @jay: kagawa just returned for injury. Can’t risk playing him in 2 games in 2days

  9. WeAreUnited says:

    I think

    SAF is using in this period Vidic and Kagawa slowly, because of their injuries and he’s already thinking the latter stage of the season.

    Otherwise both would have been in the starting line-up. This separates SAF from others.

    @frodo I agree 100% clevs and Carrick are pulling the strings, so why change them.

    Great call SAF. they are our force at the moment

  10. Aliyu Na'Abba says:

    Nice selection

  11. Ash says:

    The first thing that I saw in the line up was rafael and my face lit up. He i sour first choice rb any day. Glad he is back.

    Also happy to see de gea getting consistent start, He should be our first choice keeper.

    A victory for us

  12. Hans says:

    Happy New Year to fellow reds!

    Lets hope for a routine win today. We should not make last years mistake and be complacent.

  13. andromeda says:

    Happy new year everyone on this ROM

    Regrading the lineup, I must welcome back Rafael.Valencia’s absence should make sense, he played much games in the last couple of games, other than that I see a good balanced team.Hopefully we will get another clean sheet and another three points before we play Liverpool.

  14. wayne says:

    Tony V’s form hasn’t been terrible makes me laugh all the fans making a case for Nani week in week out has decided to pick on Tony V,don’t get it by picking on Tony V isn’t going to change the Nani situation.It’s up to Nani to come back with the right attitude and prove he deserves a 1st team place,something he hasn’t done all season and no one can argue that.

  15. WeAreUnited says:

    @wayne

    what the hell your problem is mate?

    just said the obvious. Nothing was pointed or mentioned Nani=? it doesn’t feel that good right? It feels the same when Nani is picked up.

    Just that nobody even mentioned Nani. ANd if you really think Valencia deserved a starting place, you are delusional.

  16. WeAreUnited says:

    Valencia is a force, but at the moment he is not offering us anything on the FORM he is on.

    When he’s back on FORM he’s our first 11 automatically.

    FORM is the key word and point here. And he hasn’t been on FORM.

  17. andromeda says:

    Obviously Giggs deserve a starting place after his good performance against Newcastle.

  18. stubiedoo says:

    No Valencia and Vidic is a strange one.

  19. Costas says:

    Valencia needed a breather imo. And since we have options out there, we can afford to give him that. The same would have happened with Carrick if we had a replacement for him in the squad.

  20. matt says:

    Would like to see Carrick get a break to be honest, hope he doesn’t burn out come squeaky bum time. Fletch hasn’t made a few squads in a row now, hope he is alright.

  21. AlphaRS says:

    @WeAreUnited
    I think Valencia is suffering because teams are wising up to him. He usually knocks the ball to one side and uses his pace to run past defenders. Teams are now doubling up on him and siting deeper so he can’t do this as often. Valencia isn’t a box of tricks like Nani so he is limited to what he can do to overcome this.

  22. Dela says:

    Good line up! Giggsy on the left has been looking good, and Tony V does not a breather I’d say. Not surprised Vidic doesn’t start, want to relax his knee back into it.

    Extremely strong up front as per :-)

  23. King Eric says:

    Wayne. Hello mate. Ha I am shocked no “why fucking Giggs” comments yet. It’s like a comedy show on this thread on match days.

  24. andromeda says:

    @stubiedoo
    >No Valencia and Vidic is a strange one.<

    Not strange at all. Vida has just recently come back from a horrible knee injury, so Fergie is taking an ordinary precaution by gradually giving him time on the ball, and that should make sense for you:))

    As for Valenica, he is certainly our best winger, but at this moment he is slightly losing his pace and confidence on the ball, besides he has played many consecutive games so that should also make sense for you and anyone:))

  25. AntiScouser says:

    Happy New Year, indeed. Lets win this one.

  26. wayne says:

    WeAreUnited my problem mate is i’ve noticed a pattern with you, constantly telling everyone how great Nani is which is fine but for some reason you’ve been going after Tony V which in my book isn’t fine
    Tony V was getting slagged again on Saturday i listened to the match on the radio and the MUTV lads had him playing a strong game,i’d taped the game Tony V had a solid game.
    So for some reason he’s become a whipping boy on here,there was so many stupid remarks about him after the West Brom game just a fucking joke.I know who all the idiots,trolls and fuckwits are don’t have you pegged as any of that but saying Tony V has been ‘terrible’ is just wrong

  27. dee says:

    happy new year all.jus wondering if dere’s any update on ando’s injury

  28. Red Neville says:

    @Costas,

    That’s right, regarding Carrick, but it isn’t really possible, because incredibly, he is our only orthodox, dependable centre midfielder in the entire first team squad. Quite astounding when you think about it, I can’t think of any other club that would get away with it as well as we do.

  29. WeAreUnited says:

    @adnromeda

    As for Valenica, he is certainly our best winger, but at this moment he is slightly losing his pace and confidence on the ball, besides he has played many consecutive games so that should also make sense for you and anyone:)

    Exactly!!!
    Nothing else, And I BET my life, that when Valencia comes fro mthe bench today to play, he will tear them apart. He needs to be rested and find his form fro mthe bench.

    It has worked for Rooney and also Chciharito and even Nani and Ando, so why not Valencia.

    please read correclty before jumping the gun, Valencia is our top player, he’s just out of form , and maybe coming from the bench make him great again.

    people are so sensitive nowadays.

    @alphaRS, I can agree with you on that also, but he’s for me just out of form. we’ll see.

  30. matt says:

    @ king eric

    give it time.

  31. KVN says:

    Subs? When’s Anderson back?

  32. parryheid says:

    Weakened both wings with that selection imo,still hopeful of the points.

  33. drv3011 says:

    if giggs is on the left,young starts on the right…never seen that before.young has usually been occupying the left flank.this is probably an experiment to test the young and rafael combination.

  34. WeAreUnited says:

    @wayne

    maybe cause my english is not my first language and I use strong words like terrible and disappointment without meaning the worst of them

    Okaye, I change my statement. He’s not been that good, as we expect him too, he’s been out of form.

    And Wayne mate, FOR ME, Nani + Valencia together, one to the left and one to the right is ACTUALLY my dream line-up for this team.

    So’ from now on, trust me when I say, valencia is one of my favourites, trust me. I can’t also see him in this form. Like any of you expect Nani to play better cause he has that.

    I also expect Valencia to play better than that.

    Nani + Valencia together is my favourite for our team.

  35. wayne says:

    King Eric happy new year mate,that’s Daniel88 and a few others he bangs on about it every fucking thread.Believe me mate if Utd struggle all the fucking trolls will be out in force by half time,in this line up Giggs and Young will be the ones getting picked on

  36. parryheid says:

    Whens Anderson back? He’s recovering nicely and there’s a better than even chance he will be raring to go in August just as he is every year.

  37. Costas says:

    @Red Neville

    We’ve been incredibly lucky that he hasn’t been injured once over the last year and long may it continue. Ever since Fletcher’s illness got worse, he’s been the glue that’s kept the midfield together. That being said, I hope Fergie rests him at the cup game. It’s a good opportunity to do so with Liverpool on the horizon. We could draft in Fletcher for that one. Fergie has been very protective of him, but he’ll have to start a match at some point.

  38. andromeda says:

    @We are united

    Hello mate:))

    I have read your comment about Valencia, it perfectly fit my opinion.As you said there are many sensitive fans out there, nevertheless its good to read some true and nice interpretations by others:))

  39. markyboy says:

    Was at the west brom game and saw vidic leaving with a limp knew he`d be out today.

  40. Costas says:

    Lol, I think Parryheid gave an accurate prognosis about Anderson. 3 weeks out for him usually tends to turn into 6-8 weeks.

    @King Eric

    Hi mate. Hope you enjoyed the holidays. Giggs is actually starting in his natural position today and that may have played a part. ;)

  41. WeAreUnited says:

    @andromeda

    cheers mate.

    And if you look closely my comment. I said Valencia is a surprise so I waited him to play, btu my word terrible was too strong, so I corrected that, so that people here see that I’m not a one player man,

    United is my team, it’s just that I am lucky to have favourtie players on the team, and they are many. Mayeb it has to do that they play for United, btu still.

    cheers again!

  42. WeAreUnited says:

    game on.

    3-1 for us

    Giggsy 1, RVP 1 and Chicha 1.

    UNITED!

  43. King Eric says:

    Happy New Year folks. !

  44. FletchTHEMAN says:

    First matchday 2013 and a happy birthday to 71 yo Sir Alex!

    Happy new year lads!

  45. TheRadLegion says:

    @weareunited
    Can’t believe you said that again.. Hopefully come the econd half you don’t beg him to come and replace gigs/young

  46. WeAreUnited says:

    @redlagion

    I said this earlier about Valencia but you don’t bother reading my comments,

    “I BET my life, that when Valencia comes from the bench today to play, he will tear them apart. He needs to be rested and find his form from the bench.

    It has worked for Rooney and also Chciharito and even Nani and Ando, so why not Valencia.

    please read correclty before jumping the gun, Valencia is our top player, he’s just out of form , and maybe coming from the bench make him great again.

    people are so sensitive nowadays.”

    SO YOU HAVE NOTHING AGAINST ME.

  47. WeAreUnited says:

    please check again.

    January 1, 2013 at 15:45
    WeAreUnited says

  48. WeAreUnited says:

    but you NEVER EVER EVER answer to my comments, just say what you want.

    too sensitive.

    CMON UNITED!

  49. Hans says:

    We need to wake up! this is so similar to the last match here. Ashley needs to do better.

  50. TheRadLegion says:

    I freaNkin read it. I just can’t believe you have to start with that terrible comment.
    I don’t agree with the coming off from bench BS. That’s why I responded.

    My problem with you is that you think Young was good when he wasn’t. He wasn’t event better than Valencia last time.

    And don’t talk about sensitive , look at you posted 3 times to proof your point.

  51. andromeda says:

    CHicaritoooooooooooooooooooo!!!

  52. matt says:

    jonny crossing from the left wing to evra who shoots from 10 yards.. how very backward. but ill take a goal anyway it comes

  53. AlphaRS says:

    Hernandez….!

  54. Hans says:

    Well done lads, now lets kill this match!

  55. Dela says:

    Hernandez is lethal, such quick reactions. Giggs, Evans and Rafa really pleasing to watch.

  56. andromeda says:

    OMG RVP!!!!

  57. matt says:

    rvp scores when he wants

  58. Mr C says:

    Chico sniffing one out again…good sign that. RvP’s touch …pure class.

  59. AntiScouser says:

    we score for fun. :P

  60. ( . )( . ) says:

    bye bye wigan dont rusty up the water while you sink

  61. andromeda says:

    Its frustrating that we didn’t have the chance to sign this super striker earlier, I am just sorry for that:(((such a class!!

  62. Dela says:

    Smashing finish from RvP, Hernandez is really terrorizing that defense, before the game is over he will beat that offside trap.

  63. andromeda says:

    The beauty about RVP is that”his mind foot respond as fast as his mind” and all of this within milliseconds and still he can do what he want, its truly incredible:))with this form he can outshine Messi and Ronlado in Champions league”hopefully”

  64. WeAreUnited says:

    @Redlagion

    so just because you don’t like it it’s BS? please. sometiems people like you need 5 posts to get it.
    Young is playing and Giggs, so maybe that proves my point. Young has been very since that City or before that match. But people don’t want to get it.

    HERNANDEZ is not a supersub, not a starting player but a SUPERPLAYER.

    THIS IS HOW you have to use your chance when you play. No matter is it 15 or 90 minutes,

    OOOOOOOOOOOOO ROBIN VAN PERSIEEEEEEEEEEEE oooooooo.

    PURE CLASS. the lad has in his first season with us already 15 goals and more to come . AMAZING:

  65. Hans says:

    Thank you lads for a stress-free match.

    Let’s improve our goal difference now!

    RvP is sheer class!

  66. Costas says:

    Missed seeing vintage United at the JJB. ;)

    Many players are having a good outing but the one that stands out is Jonny Evans. Dangerous up front and with some quick recoveries at the back.

  67. rvp is god says:

    Happy new year lets rip them a new one

  68. Mr C says:

    Note to Mankini re his RvP whinge alhough this might be difficult for him to understand. Money isnt everything. Players with class will always want to play for United. To do so means more than money to them. The whores will always end up at City. Hence RvP is ours. Here endeth the lesson.

  69. Costas says:

    @Mr C

    The impression I got is that Mancini said what he said about RVP because he wants more signings in January. Pathetic but quite possible.

  70. Comeback Kingz says:

    Wow the match threads are turning out to be annoying to read these days, you guys are already tearing into each other.. Each and every fan is entitled to their opinions, such just agree to disagree and focus your attention on the game not this Valencia/Nani/Young argument again.

    Now onto the game, good clinical first half. Typical Chicha finish and pure class from RvP again! Chicha has a few in him once he beats that offside trap. Defence hasnt been tested, I can see another clean sheet at this rate. Good to see SAF persisting with the Carrick-Clev mid, hoping to see Kagawa and Tony V at some point in the 2nd half. Would be nice to see how Kagawa links with Robin.

  71. andromeda says:

    Time for us to get some rest, no so much drama so far.not too much adrenaline is good for our hearts;)

  72. wayne says:

    RVP best out and out striker in the world,i didn’t even realize till he joined Utd he was 2 footed,him and Hernandez offer a very potent combination,don’t remember the last striker i saw who was as good as poacher his reactions in the penalty area are just that much quicker than everyone else’s
    Overall a very solid performance from everyone,tell you what Wenger letting RVP walking out of Le Arse just have to question him as a manager,should’ve broke the bank to keep him and brought in support around him.Everyone questions the players Le Arse has sold RVP by far has to be the worst decision ever,Utd paid 24mill he’s worth 50mill.

  73. parryheid says:

    Unusual not to see pages of complaints here.at half time.

  74. WeAreUnited says:

    @wayne

    nice review

    same here, never realised the lad is two footed. still can’t believe him playing here.

    @comeback kinz

    exactly, people are too sensitive. can’t say your opinion without someone bashing you or turning it into a big discussion.

  75. Mr C says:

    @Costas. Possibly, pathetic as that might be. Just how much oil money does Mankini has to spend to keep pace with United? Is spending like a drunken sailor the extent of his managerial ability? My take on his whinge was Mankini getting his excuses in early. I wonder how his existing strikers feel about their manager twittering on about better options than them. Anyway bollox to him and back to watching United win away:-)

  76. andromeda says:

    Truly solid performance!!!

  77. andromeda says:

    Phew!!!offside:))

  78. matt says:

    ah chicha should have put that one away

  79. matt says:

    our urgency has dropped considerably since half time

  80. matt says:

    pea!

  81. andromeda says:

    Chicharito!!!!!!!!a man born to score goals”JUST FOR UNITED”

  82. Mr C says:

    Chico!!!!! Show no mercy lads…don’t ease off….put Wigan to the sword!

  83. AlphaRS says:

    YIP YAM STAM…!

  84. andromeda says:

    I love the substitution of Carrick with Kagawa!it seems that Fergie is giving rest to the right player.

  85. Hans says:

    Our away support is second to none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  86. slayer says:

    United is going well. Hope they score a few more goals to stretch the goal differences. This time United can’t afford to lose when they are leading 7 points now.

  87. nicky says:

    @WeAreUnited

    I’ve been eagerly waiting for the moment where our right wing duo Valencia and Rafael played together again… It’s been a while!!

    3-0 up till now and what else do we need for a perfect start to a new year? (Maybe Stoke scoring 3 in the last 3 mins!!)

    Hpy NY to you all from Malta

  88. TheRadLegion says:

    Weareunited
    See this is the case of you don’t understand what I’m trying to say. If someone play okay and he has to prove himself by being a sub, I call it BS.

    5 posts to get it? And you do? You’re an expert do you. Now tell me in break down points why you think Valencia was terrible. To say someone is terrible without explaining your reason, I call it a freakin lazy. At least I broke down why i don’t think Young was ahead of Valencia last game.

    When Young was playing his best game last year I gave him credit. Today I thought he’s okay, some incisive passes. I don’t slag players if I don’t have too, what you are doing now with Valencia, I call it a witch hunt. Yes that’s what you are.

    Freakin glory hunter

  89. slayer says:

    United is winning 3-0. but why suddenly, United is being attacked? Although hardly really dangerous, but United should be pushing for more goals not defending.

  90. andromeda says:

    I am not a man, I am Robin goal!!!our new Cantona.

  91. AntiScouser says:

    Two clean sheets in a row. Amazing.

  92. FletchTHEMAN says:

    FT United 4-0 away to Wigan!!!

    Goals by Hernandez(2) & RvP(2). 5th clean sheet in the EPL and 2nd on the bounce.
    Sorting the defense!

  93. Vivek says:

    A serene victory for a change…Seriously though, how good is RVP…the man is simply genius…

  94. WeAreUnited says:

    @radlagion

    this is my last post for you.

    thank you.

  95. Dela says:

    @slayer — Relax, the players have to take a breather too, cant wear themselves out before the next game.

    Good result for us today. 10 points out of 12 for the Xmas fixtures, wonderful after last year’s horrible results!

  96. slayer says:

    1 more victory. Congratz to our players for putting in a good show. There is 17 more games to go, next stop Old Trafford battle against Liverpool.

  97. dee says:

    big up united!

  98. WeAreUnited says:

    Now this is my last post.

    This is my explanation with the quote of @andromeda

    “As for Valenica, he is certainly our best winger, but at this moment he is slightly losing his pace and confidence on the ball, besides he has played many consecutive games so that should also make sense for you and anyone:)”

    thank you. as for a glory hunter? well if you think thinking the best for United is that. thank God I don’t care what you say.

    thank you.

  99. andromeda says:

    Sweet revenge for us after we lost Latics last season, and the clean sheet is the perfect icing over the cake.happy new year everybody:))

  100. FletchTHEMAN says:

    United beat Wigan home and away. 4-0 and 0-4!

    4nil in September at OT and now at their place.

    Away fans fantastic!

    D W W W wraps up the holiday fixtures. Fantastic!

    21 Played 17W 1D 3L.
    United top of the league on 52 points. 54goals! 26 GD. Come on then!

  101. slayer says:

    @ Dela, I understand that part. Just that sometimes it is hard for me not to concern that United might ended up losing on goal differences. Although I doubt last years losing of BPL due to goal difference might happen again, but I just couldn’t help worrying. If this is against a better side, I would be much more worry since our defenses is not at the best.

  102. mig78 says:

    Thank you RVP. Thank you Little Pea. Thank you SAF. Thank you Man Utd.
    21 down, 17 to go. One game at a time.

  103. WeAreUnited says:

    DISCLAIMER: THIS IS MY OPINION, it doesn’t mean I am right, just how I see it.

    I have said in last threads this,

    1.Valencia is out of FORM -> didn’t play today, rested for a reason. CHECKED

    2. I said Chicharito uses his 15 minutes or 90 minutes betetr than Welbeck as a striker -> Started and scored 2 goals. CHECKED

    3. I said Welbeck played in the last game better in the right wing -> today was played as a right winger . CHECKED.

    4. I compared Berbas and RVP’s first season -> RVP scored 2 and has 16 goals in his first season, and the same talent if not bettr ball touch than Berba, can you deny that? CHECKED.

    5. I said Giggsy is playing very well as a left mid -> played really well again today . CHECKED.

    6. Youngie is at the moment our best winger. Played superb today. CHECKED

    So am I wrong??? some might say, yes, but I have my proof.

    ooooooooooo robing van persieeeeeeeeee….. chiiii cha rito ………….. chiii cha rito ……..

  104. Costas says:

    If only one of those goals was scored last April…

    Anyway, very good performance and you can always count on Wigan for that, lol. Congrats to all the lads and Jonny Evans especially.

  105. WeAreUnited says:

    7 people are too sensitive to discuss properly? CHECKED

    8. radlagion is a cunt? CHECKED

  106. andromeda says:

    Right now at this moment, full concentration is all that needed.We must not count our laurels as anything can happen in this crazy league.our tactical keys this season so far.

    1.Robin Van Persie is the perfect partner for Rooney, can also play behind little pea and still be lethal.so no more absolute Rooney dependent”that is a bonus this season”
    2.Carrick is not replaceable, he is taking the midfield on the shoulder all by himself.calm and accurate, 100% focused and committed.
    3.Cleverly is the catalyst with very fast movement, both as a supporter behind the strikers and can also feed the wingers, he can also defend and help Carrick with that department.
    4.Evans is starting to become one of the best central defender, his composure is superb and obviously we can count on him in our hard times.happy for the lad.
    5.Valencia is still our best winger but he is out of his form temporarily, though I still love to see Nani competing and proving himself”I am confident he will”so no more comparing the two, each one has his own style of play.I have argued this many times so both players are handy and can be of great help winning the title back.
    6.Rooney is our leader, but the beauty about this season is that we can still play without an obvious single handed leader, at these moments the whole team is the leader.
    7.Our rotation policy is second to none.the depth of the squad and the quality of the players are just fabulous.
    8.second part of the season will be a compensation for the first part where we conceded many goals.whatever happen the rule is to score more goals than we concede, that is our Philosophy this season.

  107. Mikael says:

    1: Evans was a beast today.
    2: Giggs is doing ok on the wing, never start him in the middle pls SAF.
    3: Chicha is scoring while starting, that’s great to see!
    4: Carrick is the calm and control of the team, invaluable.
    5: Great to see Rafa back.
    6: He scores when he wants… ;)
    7: Welbz looked sharp when he came on, did great in the short time he got.
    8: Clevs got 90 mins, good for him. Did well today.
    9: 1 more goal than shitty managed today, good for the GD.
    10: Clean sheet!
    11: Happy new year reds! Keep it up for the last 17!

  108. fergie is the boss says:

    WeAreUnited – like I said,RVP is an out an out CF he scores goals, berbatov does not. RVP reads the game better, plus he’s had the experience from learning from players like vierra henry bergkamp, and playing under a manager like wenger developed his game, so coming to united was never a daunting prospect. and his style of play fits players like rooney and hernandez to the ground, adding the fact RVP reads the passes carrick cleverly and young’s give to him. Adding the fact RVP can score goals out of complete nothing

    What has really been a plus,. RVP and hernandez are dove tailing. When they lost to norwich, RVP and hernandez never seemed to mix, now they work magically well, and rooney has a big job getting past these 2, who for me are the 2 deadliest strikers in the PL

  109. WeAreUnited says:

    @andromeda

    you wrote on your review everything that’s on my mind and I think you get it what I am trying to say about the Valencia Nan iissue ->

    5.Valencia is still our best winger but he is out of his form temporarily, though I still love to see Nani competing and proving himself”I am confident he will”so no more comparing the two, each one has his own style of play.I have argued this many times so both players are handy and can be of great help winning the title back.

    But some call me a glory hunter . amazing.

    @fergie the boss

    100% agree with everything you said

    @mikael

    same with you mate !!

  110. WeAreUnited says:

    @andromeda

    just that I think Nani is our best and talented winger :P but still, doesn’t change the fact that Valencia proves that every game and Nani has been down for almost 6 months.

    Like you said Both players are handy and can be of great help winning the title back.

    peace.

  111. andromeda says:

    @We are United

    Cheers mate, who is calling you glory hunter?I was not aware of that!

  112. WeAreUnited says:

    @andromeda

    yeah no worries about it haha, this is the Internet, but it’s a guy who’s in a witch hunt against me..

    Weareunited:
    Wow now I’m a c*nt. Great way to start a new year by being called a cunt by Mr. Know It All.
    I bet you don’t even know what a c*nt is do you? I called you a glory hunter, and you the best you could come up with is a c*nt? Now tell me who is sensitive and who can’t banter properly?

    I asked for a break down points why you think Valencia was terrible, all you could come up with is a series of checked list? Are you serious?

    01. No he was rested for the weekend game against West Ham.

    02. You failed again in your welbeck v Hernandez comparison. Welbeck was a lone striker when he stared the game unlike Hernandez today who got some better supports from Young who played better on right and Giggs who unusually was better on the left today plus Cleverly who wasn’t even tracked by Wigan players. Don’t forget RVP was playing behind him not alongside him giving him some needed accurate passing. So the fact that Hernandez scored 2 goals today and Welb did not, isn’t an apples to apples comparison. Fairly unfair I’d say.

    03. And no you did not say he was better as a right winger. You said he was a beast coming down to the mid area. So uncheck that.

    04. Can I deny this? Of course I can’t. I don’t ever recall I said Berba was better either lol. Stop posting something untrue to make you sound clever while others aren’t.

    05. But the fact that he hasn’t been playing well. The left flank ironically was his weakness area as he’s growing old hence conserving his energy. But he was good today. I respect him as a legend (having watched him for his first ever appearance back in 1990).. but to say that he’s good as a left winger in his old days is just a stretch. Remember his glorious assist to Owen in that 4-3 victory against City? He was playing in a central position.

    06. Young was okay. I’ve never said he was bad either on his game v WBA. He wasn’t superb or anything, have some incisive passes to the box.. Especially one that Hernandez failed to score. If you watch the game again, yes he was a winger tonight but I think SAF ordered him to play behind the strikers too. That’s why he was thrived tonight as opposed to be a total winger. I heard that is his best pos.. playing behind a striker.

    But I’ve always told you he has that curl on his crossing that is difficult for defender to deal with, he just needs to cross more and to stop playing safe.

    07. Sensitivity issue. Okay so I was saying that you were wrong by telling people Valencia was terrible, therefor making him as a sub was wrong. Now you told me I’m ver sensitive. How can I be so sensitive when you keep telling people how terrible he is but DID NOT bother to say why? Then you have a guts to call me a c*nt, when you could banter my “glory hunter” post with something else less offensive than the C word. You are telling me I couldn’t banter properly? Geez man.

    You’re doing a witch hunt that’s what you are doing. You don’t bother to see past goals and assists and some crazy footwork.

    08. Sure call me a c*nt, that’s fine, but do me a favor.. next time don’t bother with the checked list proclaiming to others you know it all.. believe me or not that makes you sound like a d*ck!

  115. RVP's left foot says:

    Great win today lads. Our game seems to revolve around around our strikers, so to get a second clean sheet on the bounce seems blissful. Should give confidence to DDG as well. Cheers!

  116. RedBorneo says:

    WeAreUnited,
    I think you shouldn’t give too much response for a sensitive dumbass poeple here, just wasting your time and energy. Let them grow up..
    BELIEVE…

  117. WeAreUnited says:

    @rad lagion

    those posts werent’ for you my friend. it was nothign to do weith the Valencia issue.

    I don’t know.

    You said he was a beast coming down to the mid area. So uncheck that? HELL NO. I said that. I said he wa a beast in the right wing. YOU CHECK THAT.

    WeAreUnited says:

    I think

    Welbeck was a disappointment today, but when he was moved to the right, he was a beast. CHECKED.

    the check list was never intended to you.

    I have said about Valencia, that the lad is not attackign and crossing like he did last year, I think he is at the moment dependable for Rafael. he hesitates and just stares the opposition, in his BEST days when he was on form, he just went through.

    When a player is out of form, doesn’t make him a bad player, I never said he’s a bad player,

    only that HE IS OUT OF FORM. Nothing else mate.

    Maybe I went to far, but you are being in a witch hunt with me, when I have never doubted Valencia, just that he is out of form, he is not producing. football isn’t just about tracking back you know.

    And I corrected myself, I said that because of my english not being my first language I use strong words, and I am tend to get misunderstood. Then corrected that It was too strong word. Then I said he didn’t play that good.

    Just get that, Like manby of you who doubt Nani and now that the lad has potential, but now is underperforming. I am also at that stage, for me with all the talent Valencia has, is NOT performing like he should. HOw else can I say that. Nothing to do with him being bad. I chose my words wrongly. Will you now bash me for that, when I corrected myself?

    Don’t take it so personally. I went too far, but you were annoying me.

  118. WeAreUnited says:

    @RedBorneo

    I just want to clear the things up.

    But I guess you are right. because the lad again used my words wrongly. don’t get it.

    peace and BELIEVE. thank God there are people getting me.

  119. zigoo says:

    great win!!!
    chicho was phenomenal and in RVP i think we have the most talented player alongside ronaldo to play in the fergie era …an absolute gem of a player with stunning finesse and elegance on that left foot…!!

    GGMU!!

    ps evans was a beast!!

  120. fergie is the boss says:

    I do wish we had someone that could play on the right that could match rooney RVP and hernandez, but we cant have it all. One of the biggest plus’s, is not keeping a clean sheet, its seeing the boss stick with DDG. After the Newcastle game, fergie could have easily dropped the Spaniard, but, he has stuck with him, and we are seeing a very settled back-line. PPL say wigan and west brom not the greatest teams to keep a clean sheet, but its better than nothing.

  122. LonwStarRed says:

    An excellent display today.

    The clean sheet was the icing on the cake.

    Andre Marriner, like a lot of the referees this season, really allowed a lot of physical play against us. We adjusted accordingly and gave as good as we got. That checked it.

    The excellent display of close passing in the 92nd minute as we went up the field would have made alot of highlight reels had Welbeck not slipped as he went to pass to Kagawa for the finish.

  123. TheRadLegion says:

    @WeAreUnited:
    Well you put my handler on #08, so I assumed it was for me.

    And how am I doing a witch hunt but am in agreement with you on some points? You are one of a very few people who have been constantly slagging Valencia and are very vocal about it, if that did not invite a strong discussion, I don’t know what will. And if you are annoyed with me because I keep defending how he has been playing.. there’s nothing I can do about that.

    @RedBorneo
    You’re calling people dumbasses and yet telling them to grow up? Nice try.

  124. WeAreUnited says:

    @radlagion

    I understand your frustration with me, and that’s how I felt when Nani was slagged, but that doesn’t mean I didnt accept that everyone were correct for Nani not playing well.

    So when in my opinion Valencia is not playing good and is out of form and I have explained this alot also via quotes of others so I don’t have to comment, still you want an explanation for it.

    Let’s put it this way, for me valencia is a beast, I call him as the silent killer cause he never seem to care, but still produces moments that comes out of nothing. But at the moment he is out of FORM.
    Like Nani has been in a while.

    And you seem not to accept my opinion, which is crazy cause it’s mine, and it doesn’t mean I am correct, it’s the way I see it. Maybe I didn’t put any example but I have been in a while.
    I just want him back on form.

    Look, for me, if every player were on form I would pick Nani over Valencia everyday! but the thing is our left wing needs a player and because Valencia is so good in what he DOES, a touchline player, I would put Nani to the left.

    If we had a left winger like Giggsy was at his prime or Ronaldo, thwn I would obviously pick an in form Nani over Valencia everyday. But that’s not possible, cause players will go off forms, and that is what is happened to Valencia.

    1. He doesn’t hit his crosses.
    2 He stops and stares opponents
    3. He turns and passes to Rafael
    4. too dependable of Rafael
    5. He is doubled up, but an United player should do well no matter how many players they face.
    6. he rarely scores, which is one of the missions of a winger also.
    7.My rant about Valencia has nothing to do with Nani, because Nani is out of form and injured so that would be crazy :D I want both back in form
    8. Off topic, Like you saw, I said Welbeck was a beast coming from the right mid/wing, not from the middle.

    peace mate.
