    Ah the formidable Cleverley twins…

  2. Udyat says:

    Why is Cleverley there twice?

  3. pele says:

    I think he means Kagawa

  4. punsandguns says:

@Udyat, because it is a mistake and should’ve said ‘Kagawa’ in one of those places instead.

  5. Arthur "Two Sheds" Jackson says:

Because Tom’s twin brother Tim is also in the line-up, that’s why.

  6. Little Red Ant says:

    Carrick centre half ?

  7. Little Red Ant says:

    Kagawa = Cleverley

  8. Evans_KickingSkills says:

Who’s this “Nano” guy? Sounds high-tech!

  9. Georgejoseph says:

    Carrick centre half oh no

  10. Rohan_19 says:

    ‘Confirmes’?

  11. Little Red Ant says:

…….and Sam Johnstone on the bench – no Anders??

  12. Rohan_19 says:

    Lindegaard is injured..
Also its rafael’s 100th appearance for us today!

  13. parryheid says:

hope the back line is on it’s toes cause they are coming right down the middle.

  14. Hans says:

If Nani cannot start even in a match like this, surely he is heading for the exit door?!!!

  15. WeAreUnited says:

Nano is our future, he is asian decent, half chinese half taiwanese. he first was know in technology with his branding for Apple, Ipod Nano, now he is known in football.

    CMON UNITED.

A bit scared that Carrick is a centrehalf, but let’s hope he does well.

CMON! Chicha to score 2 goals

  16. LoneStarRed says:

A link anyone? I am at the office. The Sky links usually works well.

    Thanks In advance.

  17. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

Oh lord no. Carrick at CB?

  18. redlad 19 says:

2 cleverleys hope there both good!!

  19. BOOCH says:

Can’t wait for the united match hope rooney score first 2nite

  20. REDibro says:

    Where is Tony?

  21. Ash says:

Why cannot wooton or M keane play instead of carrick. Play a proper defender and not a midfielder, Wooton and other young defenders would be livid.

  22. ARUN says:

    3-1 to us

  23. King Eric says:

All those moaning as per usual before a ball has been kicked when has Carrick let us down at CB? He will be covered by Fletch anyway. Doub’t they will “be coming through the middle” parryheid when our team in this way is so narrow with no width!!

  24. matt says:

god we are thin at the back right now.

would loved to have seen wooton or keane (is keane injured?) but i suppose its too big an occasion to be thrown into the mix

  25. T. says:

Finally we started to clone our playmakers when we cant afford to bring them in from outside Carrington!

  26. ARUN says:

    @ash
i am pretty sure sir alex thinks they are not good enough to start a game now.this si a champions league game and i think carricks experience is better

  27. redlad 19 says:

ARUN. 3 nil us pal…… a also reckon celtic will need 5 more defenders at barca

  28. Andooo says:

How is Anderson not getting a start in this game?

He’s started one game all season while been 80-100% fit.

What’s are fergies thoughts, when he’s on the pitch (in very small doses atm) he’s looked really good. 4/5 of his passes are forwards and he’s hasn’t misplaced a pass all season.

  29. Goat Peticoat says:

    7-1

  30. Rohan_19 says:

Nano — the cheapest indian car ever made.. !

  31. Rohan_19 says:

Think playing carrick at CB in a game like this at OT is a good idea..
He can build from the back and also with fletch to cover him as also the lack of width would ensure we wont be too open at the back..

  32. kungfoocantona says:

frig sake no ando again…is fergie trying to push this boy out of the club…..either way still a good line up, fletch getting games is positive, hernandez deserves a start but would of liked ando to start instead….fergie is obviosly wanting rooney and rvp to get that deadly partnership together and shit aint nothin wrong with that at all……i will say with are strange form this year il go for 2 1

  33. mahadev says:

    should have cloned scholesy instead.

  34. mansuy united says:

LoneStarRed–I think we’re banned from posting links on here? I can’t remember. Do a quick search for “free football streaming info” and click the link that ends in .info :)

I’m an American, I live on this site. It used to be the P2P euro site, but that was shut down years ago.

  35. mansuy united says:

FYI- It should be the FIRST link you see. The sight looks half-rate, but it gets the job done.

  36. iDon says:

    Carrick’s the best :S

  37. RobbieBrady says:

Hernandez is the only issue, would have had anderson in for him, or nani. not good enough.

  38. RobbieBrady says:

Hernandez is the only issue, would have had anderson in for him, or nani. not good enough.

  39. RedAlbania says:

    Scott is definitely drunk!?hehehe

  40. LoneStarRed says:

    @ Mansuy

    Thanks brother.

  41. Proverb says:

4-0 to united is my prediction glory glory!!!

  42. RedAlbania says:

Manchester United starting XI: De Gea; Rafael, Evans, Carrick, Buttner; Fletcher, Kagawa, Cleverley; Hernandez, Van Persie, Rooney

Subs: Johnstone, Ferdinand, Anderson, Giggs, Nani, Young, Welbeck

  43. matt says:

another good streaming site is ronaldo7.net

  44. AntiScouser says:

Hm, more tinkering with the line-up. Not good.

  45. Proverb says:

Scott drunk at this time of the day not a surprise, mind you ;) !!!
    He’s stuck on twatter

  46. WeAreRed says:

What does Ando have to do to get some game time? He has been brilliant this season when he has had the chance, and still cant get a start. I love the gaffer but sometimes you wonder what goes on in his head. Anyways on the plus side, good to c TC23 back and the Fletch getting some play time.. Would have preferred Wooton over Carrick, rather groom a player than play someone in the wrong position.

I’m a big Nani fan too but something is seriously wrong here, if he cant get a start in a game like this. Love Chicha but would have loved to c Nani in there instead. Either way, its a pretty strong line up and I expect a very good game and convincing scoreline from the lads.

    Bring it!!!

  47. Proverb says:

;) too many twats, not a surprise
They pop up on match days

  48. slim says:

Risky line up. The bench looks weird too. Here’s to an injury free game. Looking thinned out at the back

  49. bah_humbug says:

    Typical shit start then.

    Come on boys!

  50. Proverb says:

    Wtf!!!! This is crazy

  51. Rohan_19 says:

    Totally expected that

  52. matt says:

    you cant be fucken serious

  53. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

BAM 1-0. who’s surprised. Not me.

  54. Mahesh says:

good – so i guess we’ll have to start playing early!

  55. evisu says:

    That didnt take long..

  56. Rohan_19 says:

That was almost kicked into the net at kickoff.. Scott should choose his words better :D

  57. CoppelRED says:

    Fucking hell!

  58. Sushi says:

    …..wtf

  59. AntiScouser says:

Haha, rent boys will paint the town red on Sunday,

  60. Georgejoseph says:

    Totally confused team selection

  61. Sushi says:

What are we doing? Fucking seriously it’s not funny anymore we can’t keep conceding bull shit goals early on complete joke.

  62. RedBorneo says:

Carrick -Evans at CB, ooh shiit..!

  63. United4life says:

I need a link that works on the iPad please

  64. Rohan_19 says:

We are just one of those teams you see now and then
We often score six but always conceede first

  65. Georgejoseph says:

We have to hopes of winning the CL. No hope and bob hope. And bob is dead

  66. AntiScouser says:

Feguson: “With the experience of last season, I’ll play my strongest side in Europe this year”.

  67. evisu says:

This team is a fucking joke

  68. AntiScouser says:

Well done, Fergie, well done. An old dog never learns new tricks.

  69. Rohan_19 says:

    Oh well.
    We are quite screwed now.

  70. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

*slow clap* WELL DONE LADS!! EXCELLENT DEFENDING!!!!

  71. gaz says:

    this could get fucking embarrasing

  72. evisu says:

Everyone just stands still and watching, jusr shows newcastle game was a fluke

  73. CoppelRED says:

    Carrick is absolute shit!

  74. Ice Cube says:

blame the manager. He’s shown Braga a complete lack of respect.

  75. Racoonjo says:

Disgrace, laughable. Was watching the team of 99 can’t believe what’s happened to us

  76. Hans says:

What was Fergie thinking playing Carrick at CB?!!!

  77. LoneStarRed says:

Lots of football left to play. Naysayers leave NOW!!!

  78. WeAreRed says:

    @Ice Cube

Couldnt agree with you more mate.

  79. Rohan_19 says:

    Chicho!!,!,!!,!,

  80. Proverb says:

    Yes!!!!

  81. WeAreUnited says:

    fucking yeah HERNANDEZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

    you haters got served

  82. evisu says:

Hernandez is the only one that showed some fucking spirit!

  83. Rohan_19 says:

    Great call by the referee

  84. Proverb says:

    Our defense is a shambles

  85. WeAreRed says:

    Which haters??

There’s nothing wrong with pointing out the flaws in our game.. There’s never been an issue with the attack, but you would be naive to not question this defence. We’re leaking too many goals, especially at OT.

  86. Andromeda says:

Whatever the consequence of this game even if we convert this shit to our advantage I will still remain unhappy.this is not carrington training ground for goodness sake!!clearly there is a total under estimation for the opponents…its these kinda results that will waste the entire psychological fuel of our players…Fergie should seriously sort this out or else bother clear cabinet is waiting on the horizon.

  87. LoneStarRed says:

We ARE giving up too many goals this season thus far. Eleven in the EPL , I believe twice as many as last year to this point. Still we have a team to cheer on right now dammit.

  88. kali says:

Carrick got done badly he’s still shit, always will b :( . United still playing old football, kagawa seems lost

  89. Va7encia says:

Fergie Fergie Fergie ‘sigh’ yy u no play ando or nani

  90. matt says:

    kagawa was onside

  91. evisu says:

    Ref fucked us

  92. Va7encia says:

wtf onside!!!!!!!!!!!! ‘sigh’ wtffffff pennnnn awwwwwwww ffs fuck u ref FUCK U

  93. Proverb says:

    Its a penalty

  94. LoneStarRed says:

    Celtic 1 Barca 0 . How about them apples?/

  95. LoneStarRed says:

Good going Javier Hernandez Hernandez Hernandez.

  96. LoneStarRed says:

Halftime. Regroup. Get heads out of asses.

  97. Rohan_19 says:

    Shit till 30 mins
    Good for 5-7 mins
    Merely poor from then on..
    Game needs width!

  98. Hans says:

Yet another disastrous first half. Something has to be changed. Kagawa, apart from that cross, was not in the game tonight. Other were not much better as well. This is even worse than Benfica and Basel last year.

  99. Hans says:

Yet another disastrous first half. Something has to be changed. Kagawa, apart from that cross, was not in the game tonight. Other were not much better as well. This is even worse than Benfica and Basel last year.

  100. Wee Toms Ligaments says:

Dreadful from Evans and Carrick. Buttner has been shakey as well.

One thing is for sure, United never do it the easy way.

I like Rooney to get the equalizer and Welbeck from Nani for the win.

  101. Rohan_19 says:

    Proverb — wasnt a penalty

  102. iDon says:

Diamond my ass! He has lost his head shit Alex Ferguson … time for you to play chess

  103. WeAreUnited says:

I know we are loosing and quite confident we’re gonna win this game, but it’s like some of you are first timers at watching United, always fucking complaining, watch the game, you knew the line-up, you can’t do anything, watch the game support the team.

haters of the team and CHICHARITO

  104. Rohan_19 says:

Think kagawa and fletch werent in the game much…
    Cleverly rvp rooney chico goof

  105. Andromeda says:

How many times does Fergie need to understand the same lesson?? Carrick doesnt work for up as a center back, thats it.he must give up that dream, why the hell he keeps doing the same mistake?!

  106. Danizizu says:

Hernandez looking sharp,so I guess its Kagawa who is going to get sacrificed

  107. Rohan_19 says:

IDon — blame the stupid defensive errors and not the diamond

  108. LoneStarRed says:

The diamond cuts beautifully offensively .Defense is another story entirely.

  109. Proverb says:

Not great! Typical sluggish start. Looked threatening when pace has quickened. Cleverley looking fine again!

This system looks absolutely good but I think we need to implement 2 defensive midfielders, or else we’ll ship in a lot more awful goals
We look great going forward rooney and van persie good enough to create goals aswel as ship in some but its crazy we’re too shaky at the back

  110. AntiScouser says:

I don’t know what to say anymore, literally. At first I was stunned, then this became a regular occurrence. We’re Europa League quality, it’s sad. All down to Ferguson and his incompetent staff.

  111. bbqbod says:

goal we scored was onside. Why do Linesman always give those in favour of the defenders?

  112. iDon says:

Rohan_19: If this “diamond” were supposed to work then we could cover up easily the defense… with diamond you look to keep the ball … the formation is for “diamond” and they are always trying to find someone in the flanks. That’s our DNA. Valencia and Nani are needed, plus the master in midfield – Scholes

  113. LoneStarRed says:

    @ WeAreUnited

True that, well said, now pass the popcorn.

  114. Marq says:

Those bashing Carrick, you take a look at the goals again and you will see Evans is the one not picking out the man. Then again, if the understanding between Carrick & Evans is so bad, why wasn’t it picked out in training? Or did they even trained together in the first place?

  115. iDon says:

Marq: Carrick is shit, he is not able to the work even in midfield let alone the defense

  116. Louis says:

Downloaded iLivid. Still wont work, the site says ”youre missing iLivid’ when Im inside iLivid?!?!

    Any suggestions?

  117. AntiScouser says:

All talk of “the diamond” aside, doesn’t the sheer thought of our defence sadden you?

  118. Redial says:

Still some 45 minutes to go. United to win 5-2.
    BELIEVE!

  119. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

Em Marq. The second goal is a perfect example of why Carrick should ALWAYS be played in his normal position. Eder dragged him out wide, backed him down, turned on him, out ran him and put the ball into the box for Alan to score. most forwards are very quick thinking especially in europe. I expressed these early on but I was put down by some here for being a moaner. Surprise we have conceded two goals AGAIN at home for the second time in three days and we did not play any top class recognizable european team in EITHER games at home.

  120. Hans says:

Back to 4:4:2 and let’s put proper pressure on them!!!

  121. WeAreUnited says:

    @LoneStarRed

    thank you,

people talking here like nobody else sees the flaws, we can do only 3 changes and you can’t rush in this situation.

it’s like vampires waiting us to play badly and start to complain. support the team.

let’s see when we win this shit and where those vampires hide.

    fucking first’timers.

it’s not that we are playing good, but loose a bit , and wait until the game it’s over.

CMON UNITED it’s 4-2 for us!!!

  122. Proverb says:

The goal came from a cross, and we look a lot more threatening when we go out wide and cross in
Players still are not used to the diamond system hairdryer!!!! For kags, fletcher, carrick, and evans

  123. Marq says:

Yea right, Carrick is shit, the only ever present player in our horrible team last season that lost out only on goal difference to a team that spend hundreds of millions.

I not going to waste time trying to convince haters

  124. parryheid says:

Much too many changes in personel and not I’m afraid for the good,But still got another half to play so I’m optimistic.

  125. Costas says:

Can’t defend to save our lives ffs. We won’t go anywhere this season defending like that. Not sure if the diamond or the lack of it makes a difference. Our problems at the back are deeper than that.

  126. Wee Toms Ligaments says:

I like the way the first half ended. United can press these guys and turn defense to offense in the attacking third. Would like to see Fletcher move higher up the pitch and close down Ruben Michael.

Otherwise, get ready for a 2-0 half to United.

  127. Costas says:

And playing Carrick in defence was a huge waste. As if the guy hasn’t played enough this season. Would Wootton have played any worse?

  128. Hans says:

Come on Nani. You can earn a new contract tonight!!!!!

  129. Proverb says:

I think kags got a knock there

  130. WeAreUnited says:

    cmooooooooooooooon NANIIIII

  131. Louis says:

    Still another 45 to go

Can somone help me with my iLivid issue?????

  132. Marq says:

    @dannysoya

Thats my point, Carrick got dragged out wide, yes, but there is only 1 player in for Braga in there, which Evans did not bother to mark. So who’s to blame? Carrick for going out to cover or Evans for going to sleep?

  133. RedBorneo says:

Mr. Ferguson, Why must Carrick…? Why ..? Put your trust to our young defender old man..!
Woy was right if he throw out carrick from england squad.

  134. Rohan_19 says:

    Wtf is with nani’s moustache

  135. Andromeda says:

I’d love to say we are king of comeback”like the old days”but it seems we are transforming that into”the queen of early conceding”:/

  136. ididnotzeeit says:

I have never been on the live blog before for matches. Bored to tears at work and watched the 1st half. Came on to assume the bashing was in full force and to no surprise, right as rain. Spoiled lot on here. Jaysus wept, it’s 90 fucking minutes of football in a group stage match and already you’d think the sky had fallen. Disgusting “support.” Get behind whomever the gaffer picks, cheer your arses off for 90 minutes, take stock AFTER the match and then post the “Carrick’s shit,” “our midfield’s shit,” “Fergie will never learn,” etc, etc, fucking etc.

Good lord, some folks just never fucking tire of eating crow. SAF has made a career of making folks supposedly “in the know” look complete mugs. Some of you lot just love the taste I gather. It’s 2-1 at the half, at Old Trafford with a line up featuring 2 of the most feared forwards in all of football and a Mexican that scores for fun. Long way to go lads, a good 2nd half performance and a win or a draw sees us comfortably sitting at the top of the group half way through. Barring no injuries, points are points, take them as we can get them and let’s realize this isn’t the back four from 2008 lining up.

Apparently, on game days, you’ve got to bring the hard hat in here to avoid the flying toys from petulant “supporter’s” respective cribs.

  137. AntiScouser says:

You could say we were playing better, but then again, you could also say they were sitting back and enjoying their lead while letting us sweat,

  138. mig78 says:

    we need ando.

  200. Dela says:

The two goals we conceded came from two things… Carrick in defense and Buttner at LB. Now, before anyone bites my head off, I’m not complaining. I actually would have prefered to lose tonight and keep Rio and Evra for Chelsea than win 3-2 with Rio and Evra in the team. Fergie took a risk putting carrick to centre half and at the end of the day it paid off.

Job done. 9 points from three group stage games. CHICHARITO RETURNS! I think him being taken off might signal a start against Chelsea?

  209. LonestarRed says:

@ IceCube Too funny about Nani.

  210. Marq says:

Was surprised Hernandez went off instead of Rvp. Would have loved it for him to get a hattrick, and he was the only one providing pace. Since he went off we went back to our shell.

As for Nani… A limping Kagawa did more than him, so the less said the better.

Those slating Carrick, take off your hate filled glasses and watch how he was the only one in the team capable of delivering long splitting passes in the second half

  211. Cyndi says:

CHicharito is back. Give him a chance and he’ll score!

  212. Costas says:

I am not one to rain on anyone’s parade, but for those that have forgotten, on this day we suffered a humitiation like no other 12 months ago.And that was the climax of a string of games where we kept thinking we would win no matter how attrocious the defending was. Sounds familiar doesn’t it? It’s in our best interests if we start realizing our flaws while we are winning. Before we get our butts handed to us again. On this evidence, that day may not be far away.

  213. WeAreUnited says:

    @mig78

somebody gotta do it. so many bloodsuckers here.

I came after the two first goals here and people went mental. WOW. are surprised?

We’re Man United we do what we want

  214. Andromeda says:

For those fans on this live blog who are lurking for the end until something happen and then give mockery for the previous comments..don’t act like you know this gonna happen please, football is not about winning alone its also about making the least mistakes..cmd when many of us complain about the selection line up its not that we outrageously jeer at our beloved club its just simply a matter of taking more care and being worry, and this is a totally positive point in my opinion.you shouldn’t scoff at our critiques..despite the result I still feel and am sure many of you agree with me that Fergie had it wrong in the first half and he will explain that within himself…you see football is not just about emotion and sentiment its also about making a rational decision by taking the negative points and coverting them into all positive, we try to do this here and sometimes we do it in our style that nobody likes..i hope we all remain patient and stay forever united:)

  215. Proverb says:

    Me too 3rd that

One piece of advice stop playing CM manager or FIFA manager or whatever football manager games. It’s bad for your footballing brain… 8)

  217. Hans says:

We should not be happy with the overall performance at all. After disastrous first half, we were just about OK in the second half. We went in front and then started playing silly again and nearly gave it away again. Why cant we play it simple. 3:2 with 5-6 minutes to go, why play stupid passes in front of our goal?

Forget diamonds and trees, at OT we should only play the UNITED WAY!!!!!!!!!!

Felt sorry for Chicharito to be substituted. He does not look happy at all at the moment. It would be a big loss if he left.

  218. Marq says:

And I’m not surprise Chelsea lost. They’ve only played crappy teams so far, and A.Madrid showed how poor they are if you have a go at them. Besides, you might want to look at Shaktar’s record for the past few months before suggesting they are an inferior team. They have been almost unbeatable

  219. WeAreUnited says:

    @Costas

look, our defensive display was shite like Shitty are nothing . In the first minutes where we concived the goals, apart from that played very good.

But of course we need stability and better defensive display. We have flaws, definitely, but it will come out good. It was

Remember this. It was Buttners first CL game, and Carrick in the middle as a CB. So I wasn’t surprised. And I don’t think anybody else was either, so the question is.

Why so many people came here complaining abotu everything and that’s CRAZY.

  220. Costas says:

    Well said Andromeda.

  221. dMuzikManUnited says:

Guess we’ll have to get used to outscoring our opponents this season. Powerful in attack when need be, ??? in defence. Won’t complain as long as we win. Much entertainment. Lol.

  222. gexmex says:

ok…3 matches. 9 points. one more to go and that’s it. Now, for the main event against Chelsea. Valencia is rested and he is vital. Welbeck will go to play on the left. I suppose Scholes will be leading the midfield, but we might need Anderson in good shape. I prefer not to think about the back line, just hoping some miracle takes place and we will get some real defensive work done.
Finally, Chicha has scored 4 in his last three games (including those in WC qualifiers). He will start on the bench at SB, but it’s nice to know the quality of back up for that game.

  223. WeAreUnited says:

    @Andromeda

Look at the first comment in this thread and say I was lurking????

I was the one who said Chicha will score 2 goals, hoping Carrick to play well, so I knew he will be not that good at that position and I was saying we will win this game.

So who is lurking. You can make critiques, bt just look at the comments above. Take a look. It was like people don’t know who ManUtd are.

We give up early goals when we want,
    We score when we want
We stress out supporters when we want
We’re Man United we do what we want

  224. Gandalf says:

Some great passing today mixed with defending errors – same old same old I guess. Anyway, weekend is more important. Glad to see rentboys loose.
Marvellous to see RVP and WR link up. Evans and Chico were very good too.
Is kagawa injured and what is with the round shape formation Chico is showing as goal celebration – anyone?

  225. samuel - united WE stand says:

Mig – spot on with your comment.

  226. WeAreRed says:

    @WeAreUnitted

Vampire sucking shits??? Dont be a keyboard warrior mate, most of the people earlier were just highlighting how badly we are leaking goals at the back, and early too. They were not giving up on the team, but being critical which any rational fan should be. Any1 who follows anything BLINDLY is a FOOL, and right or wrong, every fan is entitled to their opinion. The name calling is very immature and just plain stupid, and if you’re satisfied with our defensive game today, then you werent watching the same game.

On a more positive note, great game by Chicha and Fletch. Hoping Chicha gets a start against Chelsea, he definitely made a case and showed that his poacher skills are second to none.

  227. LonestarRed says:

    @ Dela

Big picture baby. Buttner blooded , time bought for Smalling to recover, Rio and Evra rested , Javier Hernandez Hernandez Hernandez aka Chica scores a brace, thrills, chills , THREE POINTS.

To top it off , Cluj and Galatasaray tie so we have a five point lead on closest in group! Calculated risks pay off.

  228. Andromeda says:

    @ we are united
I love your enthusiasm and your nice words mate but again I stress up my point, we cannot concede goals whenever we want against the chiep teams like chelsea or Barcelona..we should sort our defence the way it should be not on the behalf of our front lines.we can do it everytime..

  229. Costas says:

    @WeAreUnited

I can’t speak for the others, but personally speaking there wasn’t a lot to cheer for in this game. I was chuffed for Fletch, Javier, the 3 points and that’s just about it. You are supposed to be wiser after every game. Especially the ones you win. This game posed more questions insted of answering them. Because we can all agree that Carrick isn’t cut out to be a defender. Yet he gets picked over Wootton. And our options won’t get any better going into the Chelsea and Arsenal games. Plus, it looks to me that Fergie is still confused about what his best lineup or formation is and going into November, that’s not a good sign.

Of course there was some good attacking football again and we turned it around again. Just saying that it won’t be enough all the time.

  230. WeAreUnited says:

    @WeAreREd

can you first read my comments about our defensive play and tell us what did I say????

Am I singing and sayign we did well.

Then look at the comments when we were 2-0 down, and tell me that is supporting you tea,m????

You should cheer at that moment and believ that we will win. I said after we were 2-0 we will win 4-2.

When the game is over. Then you can comment on the display rationaly.

The comment for vampires is more for those who are saying shit about everyghint and complaining everything without giving anythin rational.

Nothing personal my friend, supporting the same team, it’s that moment in the heat when you suupporti your team and see that your own supporters are bashing all the time.

AND WHERE ARE THEY NOW?? vampire sucking people? comes out when we are loosing and playin 15minutes bad

“Dont be a keyboard warrior mate”

I’m not, I hate those kind of people. But I’m just being pissed off, with those who doesn’t say anything wise.

Not stressing anyone out. Just read the comments after the goals. I didn’t watch every commenter and saying for one person. But for those who were acting liek first timers.

    nothign personal my friend.

  236. dannysoya LOVES USAIN BOLT says:

Happy we pulled out the win in the end but we need to stop conceding goals so easily. It’s irritating. and make no mistake this came about because we underestimated the opposition. We played a midfielder in defense and expected to roll over them easily. This is not the way to go. God forbid we give up two early on at Chelsea, that might be pretty much it for that game. The best way to guarantee a victory, STOP THE BLEEDING OF GOALS.

  237. WeAreUnited says:

    @Costas

I agree 100% with you. On that comment

  238. Dan-young says:

What a surprise, people slating fergie, hernandez, carrick at the start now seem to have completely different opinions. No wonder why all the original regulars on this blog have fucked off. Great articles, let down by some (not all) annoying negative users, reading through some comments its just fucking annoying. And as for the people saying hernandez and carrick are shit, jump off the bandwagon and witness their great ability in person at old trafford before you write such bullshit comments!

  240. Proverb says:

  241. WeAreRed says:

    @WeAreUnited

Glad we cleared that up mate, its all good.

    @Costas

Totally agree with you mate, these are the games we should be learning from. Chelsea on the wknd wont be so forgiving if we give away an early goal. Other that today’s performance, they have also proved to be scoring freely as well. So we need to turn things around and tighten up in the back. Fletch is certainly looking a lot better too, hopefully he continues to progress

Am also a bit worried about us not knowing what our best team/formation as after this many games. I guess the Chelsea game will settle that as Fergie is gonna have to bring the A game.

  242. Andromeda says:

I’m happy for tonight but nobody know what will happen at stamford bridge!Am sure Fergie wouldn’t be happy.

  243. Warwick says:

    Gotta feel it for Celtic!
Thought we played well today – apart from the two early goals ofcourse – especially as we were bent out of shape. better result than a year ago

  244. WeAreRed says:

    @Dan-young

No1 slated Hernandez.. As for Carrick, pple rightly pointed out that he shouldnt be played as a CB if we have Wooton or Keane who could use that experience. This is regardless of whether we won or not, Carrick is just not a defender mate. As for slating Fergie, I think pple were just saying that he underestimated Braga and thats true. We almost got punished for it, shipping 2 goals at home like that to such a team should not happen.

  245. Hans says:

Let’s hope by the start of knock-out stages (when clean sheets at home may be vital) we have a more established defence. If we continue like this, we simply have no chance!!!

Also, I would like to take this opportunity to say farewell to NANI. What a wasted chance to become a true OT legend. He will only realise once he has left. What a waste of footballing talent.

  246. WeAreUnited says:

    @WeAreRed

no problem, of course, we are supporting the same team so I won’t be saying you are shit or you opinions don’t matter. Of course everyone are allowed for opinions.

Just that I am so pumped right now and happy that we won. and trying to get the positives otu of this game.

So happy that Chicha scored also and that after all we were 0-2 down and managed to win 3-2. When you look at other results we have to be happy.

The Chelse game will be different and like you and many else stressed out, we can’t afford making those mistakes against Chelski and SHitty. for example.

    peace.

    ———-cleverley——–Rooney——–welbeck

    —————————-RVP

For all his great performance today I don’t see him starting (chicha)

  248. WeAreUnited says:

for me, if we have had started Wootton in this game or Keane, maybe it would have been devastating for them if something similar happened.

I think after everything, and it’s easy to say after the game, it was wise to play those two as CB’s.

Evans scored so he covered his mistakes. And Carrick made a good display after the goals.
Of course we cannot play them together against moneygrabbingTeams

  249. FletchTHEMAN says:

Just about got away with a that defense. Credit to the manager in the post match. Came right out and said he knew Carrick would struggle. Not a CB. Just wish we could give Wooton another go.

But seeing how frazzled Büttner was maybe best not to have 2 rookies in the back 4.

    DONE.. HEART ATTACK, but done.

    Bring on the Chavs!

Oh right. Chicharito MOTM by a mile. Love that kid. Looks like he finally shook that concussion that had him out of sorts all last season.

  250. Proverb says:

Football is an easy game when you’ve got Sir Alex as manager.

Sloppy goals continiously conceded have to be cut out, i think a lack of authority and responsibility at times from defenders from united is costing united. I think this deficiency can be worked on, we have to sharp our focus and concentration. Carrick, apart from being easily turned and ran past, had a solid perform ance of intercepting, reading the game and bringing the ball out but let’s be honest, he’s no expert centre back, the sooner some of our defenders get fit, the better. It’s very basic minded to call him “shit” though, because for every rooney, you need a carrick knitting things together.

I want to give a massive shout out to hernandez, he exhibited the hunger and drive which is borne out of knowing chances for him is rare and competition is fierce up front. Ran the defenders ragged, sublime movement, ran the channels, improved on his all round play and his finishing was typical. When he plays like that, the other strikers will know they can’t slack off, hope he keeps improving.

Fletcher was efficient as ever, gradually looking back to his best. Never going to bomb up and down but he’ll sit and solidify in front of his back line. His passing were crisp and accurate, could play a big part this season.

Rafael, again was superb. Does not give anyone coming down that right a breathing space and equally, he bombs up and down supporting. His positioning, readingof the game, tackling has improved. Developing into a top class full back.

Buttner is still rough and too eager with his play. His positioning needs to improve but the talent is there. Works hard and is very determine but hope can improve, not ready to displace evra but he’s not that far off.

Van persie was van petsie. Holds up play, great first touch and control, fantastic movement, very good passing, skillful and inventive. A pure dutch artist of a footballer plus a constant goal threat. That 24mill is looking well spent for,a ready made world class player. For all his ability, he does work very hard.

Rooney was industrious. Always part of the key moves. Creative force and looks sharper every game. He and RVP are on the same wavelenght, two world class players. Hope to keep seeing good things from wayne.

Kagawa was disappointing in my opinion. Maybe he was carrying an injury i don’t know but he showed that moment of class that can decide games with that assist, he’ll get better though hopefully, still adapting to our style. Fergie said he twisted something, hopefully he’s fit for chelsea clash.

Nani gets a lot of stick. Some fairly but some vastly exaggerated. He came on and added that potency and drive needed. He does try to over complicate things at times but he was inventive (watch his combination play with cleverley and then a crafty pass to van persie. He can still be a top class player, if only some aren’t hasty to get rid.

Cleverley was good but i’m looking for him to be better. Energetic all night but he does tend to look like a rabbit in headlights in tight spots on the pitch. His passing as ever was short and forward thinking but he needs that something extra to be a top player, whethet he has it on him, time will tell.

generally, another mixed bag game. Hate the fact we’re making things difficult with sloppy defending. Really need to eradicate that bad habit because against top teams, in the the premiet league and champions league like chelsea comingup,it will be a tough task. Need to improve and work harder defensively but going forward, we’re playing superb free flowing football not seen for a while but got to get the othet side of the game right, stop leaking goals

Need to improve and work harder defensively but going forward, we’re playing superb free flowing football not seen for a while but got to get the othet side of the game right, stop leaking goals

looks like our concerns have vastly shifted from midfield to defence..

but on midfield – I hope we start Anderson and Cleverly against Chelsea.. but seeing that Tom played today, chances are that we’ll have Scholes out there – and I’m sure that’s what Mata is hoping to see.

    @samuel,
“Cleverly was good but i’m looking for him to be better.”.
Agree, but holy crap, the boy ran himself stupid today..lots of energy from him. We’ll need more of that on Sunday, and more of the constant pressing that Rafa did today..seemed he was glued to the heels of their forwards.. excellent stuff.

What bothers me, is not the way we give goals, but the way we getting them. It is easy with Braga. But what when some strong time comes?
