Coton: Heaton Wants To Leave In January

Former Manchester United goalkeeping coach, Tony Coton, has revealed that Tom Heaton is looking for a move away from the club this January, ahead of his contract running out in the summer.

The 23-year-old knows he won’t be getting the opportunity any time soon at United so is hoping one of the clubs interested in him comes in with a formal offer.

“Tom’s contract is up in the summer and he will be leaving Manchester United,” Coton said. “Tom is ready to move on as he wants to be playing regularly at this stage of his career. Ideally he would like to move on in January rather than waiting until the summer as he just wants to be playing. There are about half a dozen clubs interested in him and I am sure United would agree to letting him leave for a small fee if someone came in for him.”

What a tosser…who does he think he is, believing himself to be bigger than this great club?

Just messin’. Good luck Tom, hope you do well wherever you end up. Just don’t go to L**ds.

Unlucky lad, I’d say stay for the fight as that jersey will be open season (if we don’t buy to replace VDS) but the guy may have lost the fight in him…

Hope someone makes a bid… Coton sounds like a qvc infomercial, it’s a tad embarrassing.

  8. Park's Lab says:

oh yeah, We accept nothing less than a £31 million offer from Shity as he is the same height as Berbatov.

Always going to happen, not going to get a sniff at United. Wish him well though

Perhaps Rafa will buy him and play him upfront. He’s got to be better there than Voronin
